If you like huge lines and over priced lift tickets this is the place for you. If you like only getting 10 to 12 runs in in a day this is the place for you. Even weekdays are insane busy and if you're not in the parking lot by 9am you'll be taking the shuttle from Hood River. I've been skiing Mt Hood for 30+ years and Meadows has become the most crowded place on the mountain and the worst place to ski. They usually only have two lifts running at opening so it takes forever to get up the hill. So If you're a gaper that prefers standing in line and judging everyones ski gear over ripping powder then meadows is the place for you. Just look at the live cams for Mt hood meadows and you'll see what I mean. Officially DONE skiing meadows.
