I would not recommend anyone to go to this Dealers...

I would not recommend anyone to go to this Dealership. I arrived at DCH and had to go in to ask for assistance to look at a white TSX wagon. Price online was 21k, when i got to the dealership sticker price was 24k. I was trading-in a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited. My trade-in is in immaculate condition, better than excellent. Sergio our sales person (who didn't treat us with respect and didn't even offer us drinks, I had to get it myself) was offering us 9k for it when the actual trade value is $11500. His reason was because the rear bumper was off about "2 milometer" and a small part of the front bumper was repainted. He also said that there are too many Sonatas' out on the road. (For the record i saw more TSX and TL than Sonata today) He absolutely insulted me with his reasoning and low-ball offer. The car was never in an accident, and a rear bumper with move a few MILOMETERS if someone bumps into you while parallel parking. Lets talk about the front bumper; Do you rather have a stoned chipped front bumper or a nicely painted one. My trade-in was in better condition than the TSX that I test drove. And they have the nerve to call and ask how my experience was.

I just leased my 3rd Acura with DCH Montclair Acur...

I just leased my 3rd Acura with DCH Montclair Acura and for good reason. From start to finish, it was a stress free experience.
Working with Walter was an absolute pleasure. He kept in touch for about 6 months in a friendly and professional manor, keeping me up to date with the car I was waiting for. I never once felt harassed as I have at other dealerships.

When I walked into the dealership I was blown away by the updates they had undergone; it looks absolutely stunning. Everyone was super friendly, the showroom looks great, there was a cafe with complimentary drinks, and a lounge with WiFi, TV, & charging station which was super convenient.

Although I was there to discuss numbers on the car I was interested in, Walter knew my budget and recommended several other cars and ran numbers for me to compare. He is extremely knowledgeable and reviewed the differences between all of them to be sure I chose the car that I was most comfortable with. Once I made my choice he reviewed all of the documents with me before signing, called my insurance for me, explained all of the features of the car for me, and showed me how to use them before I left. Walter is great at what he does and I am so thankful for his professionalism and help; the whole transaction was smooth and stress free.

Although my interaction with Jaime was brief, he was also very helpful and answered any questions I had.
I spoke to Ann Morongell quite a few times in the past few months as well, and she was very informative when Walter was not available and I had any questions.

I would highly recommend this no-nonsense, knowledgeable, friendly team if you are planning on getting an Acura.

Very friendly and professional dealership. Miss Elayne Velazquez helped me a lot on my repair and service. I tried several different dealerships in NJ before DCH but I found DCH is the best. You could make appointment online and service consultants would text you when your car is done without bothering you too much. And some of the services are even cheaper than local stores! Highly recommended!

Honda dealer with Acura name on it. Had several issues with 2014 MDX (which I've taken up with Acura directly) but DCH does not go out of their way to help unless they are making money, and their prices are high. I highly recommend a different dealer if you are buying an Acura.

They answered all our questions, were very patient with working the numbers to fit our price range, and just made the overall experience a pleasant one. I am 2 months into my lease and I am 100% satisfied with the car and service.

Sorry to say but it has been the worst experience. They are horrible when it comes to returning calls. They are very irresponsible. They have nice cars but are very irresponsible. I would not recommend this place to anyone, save yourselves the headache and stress by going to a different dealer if its BMW go to the BMW dealer, if its mercedes go to mercedes dealer. I strongly regret purchasing a vehicle here, worst mistake.

They were friendly and they let me test drive a used Fiat 500 Abarth on my own with no strings attached. Told me I could take it out "for 5 minutes" which is not much of a test drive, but I'm sure that was just a way of trying to dissuade somebody from disappearing with a car for two hours.

He was very professional and friendly and got everything done for me in a timely manner. He even recommended a couple of other services that I should do to my car for my next visit. I've already told a few people to see him next time they go.

After totaling my car on the ice - I was faced with the need to replace it! I found a few cars I liked on USAA's website (my insurance company) One was at DCH Montclair Acura and did they stand out among the rest.

They treated me like a valued customer from their first call. Barry Katz, the salesman, called me to confirm my appointment - greeted me the moment I arrived and had the car cleaned and ready for me. (it had snowed the night before). You would have thought I was their to purchase one of their more expensive cars - I wasn't - I was bargain hunting and I found one.

I actually found another car with another dealer that I liked better - but I had such a bad feeling about the place - I left and returned to Barry where I purchased a brand new looking 2010 BMW 328xi with 80K miles - the dealership service department clearly did an extraordinary job of bring this fine older car up to top shelf space.

I left feeling terrific in my new ride due largely to the marvelous experience at this dealership. Thank you Barry, Alix and DCH Acura

The dealership offered absolutely the lowest price on 2018 MDX lease in the great NY/NJ area. Besides, the dealership is really friendly, especially Annabel and Harry. You can feel they were really trying to get the best deal for you. I couldn't be more happier dealing with this dealership. I recommend this dealership to anyone who is trying to get a new lease on Acura.

Many of us probably had a bad experience with car dealers before, but after my experience from buying a car at DCH Montclair Acura. I am able to say I trust dealers again. I am confident the only person who made all the difference was Tony Drewery.
He was never motivated on closing the sale,instead he was making sure he earns my trust and provided all the answers to my questions. Tony is one of a kind person; his attentions to my needs and concerns were met & exceeded. He will make you feel comfortable making it the best part of my buying experience. Even though contact was made with the dealership late at night, I was never rushed. Everything I asked was explained in great detail. This wasn t the same when it came to other dealers that I visited whether it was BMW, Audi and Mercedes Benz. None of which made me feel the way Tony did by taking his time with me and making me feel like I wasn t just another sale.
I wasn t sure whether to lease or finance my Acura. You hear so many stories regarding this and I didn t want to be taken advantage of. I came in very defensive expecting the worse but that wasn t the case when I got there. Everything we spoke about over the phone remained the same, no surprises, no phantom fees, and no gimmicks. Everything was just completely transparent. This is why I would absolutely recommend not only the dealership but Tony to all my friends and relatives. If you want a great price on a car and great customer service this is where I would go hands down. Thank you very much for all your time and help Tony. I will definitely be back in the future.

My wife and I were in the market for a new 2020 MDX to help start our family. Colleen was helpful in setting up a sales appointment; Walter helped provide us options and features to suit our needs. Although the price for the new MDX we desired wasn't initially within our budget, Walter graciously helped us get what we needed (and even wanted) along with help from managers Anthony and Vipin. We were pleased with the deal we got; also, Walter even took time to show us some of the new smartphone integrated features built in to the MDX's infotainment system. Looking forward to enjoying more of our new vehicle. Thanks, everyone!

Very disappointed with my experience at Montclair Acura, i purchased my first MDX in 2013 brand new here, i love Acura and returned here to purchased a used MDX, the salesman Barry told me the online price is not negotiable for the vehicle, the asking price is what you pay, take it or leave it. Salesman needed to go back and forth with used sales manager Anthony, they offered me way below book value for my current trade in, very disrespectful and would not better their offer at all. I am a repeat customer. Purchased a RDX in 2015 and a MDX yesterday. While my salesperson was great, the wait was very long and I did feel rushed through the experience. I even test drove the vehicle I was interested in with 4 miles to go until empty and was told to just not go too far. Typically, I would want to drive on the highway to see different speeds and experience the vehicle. The manager did not want to really work out a deal on that vehicle because it was a certified used vehicle and said he could not take much off the vehicle, definitely not a thousand. I ended up getting very little money off, and definitely felt like they could have worked better with me given that I came back to make another purchase and do service my vehicles at that particular location frequently. Also wanted roof rack rails added and was told I would get a good price since I am a repeat customer when speaking to the lady on the phone before going to the dealership, but they didn't want to give much off that either and I ended up walking out with my MDX but with no roof rack rails. The first time was a more pleasurable experience than this one for sure. Deliberately came back to this location because of the first positive experience, even though I saw other vehicles elsewhere, but was definitely disappointed. Only reason why I didn't walk out is because I drove over an hour from my home to go back to my original dealership and have an infant at home that it is hard to find a sitter for and I had a sitter that day.

I prefer to do all my research and comparison shopping over the phone and then visit the dealership for a quick closing. Annabel got me the best price on the vehicle with the lease terms I asked for. Everything was arranged for me to visit the dealership the following day, execute the paperwork and drive off with the vehicle.

It was my first time getting a car and the process was exceptional. It was smooth and I didn't feel as though I got cheated. I'm beyond happy with the deal I received and with that said I would recommend Paul Wong to anyone. He was knowledgable and helpful during the entire process. Making my decision easy. All together the customer service and the bargains are excellent. I look forward to working with this dealer and Paul in the near future.

From the very beginning, my experience with DCH Acura had two elements that I find to be very important in making a big purchase (or in my case a lease): Class and a trust-building, family atmosphere. There were never any pressure sales moves attempted and I always felt as though everyone was being honest and up-front with me. In order of appearance Colleen, the internet sales coodinator, Robert, the sales manager, and Walter Goldman, my sales professional were all great in filling their roles. They were all professional, classy, knowledgeable, and friendly. I recommend DCH Acura to anyone shopping for this genre of car.

I drove from NY to NJ looking for a specific make, model, price and mileage. I wasn't to hopeful that I would get the deal I was looking for. Ultimately I left that day with the car I wanted. My Sales representative was Barry Katz who was quite the gentleman for staying way past closing time in order to accommodate me. The sales manager, Shawn Huneycutt was also very gracious and a pleasure to work with. They didn't try to over sell me which always puts me at ease. They knew exactly what I wanted and dealt with me accordingly. Lastly, Jamie Borja from the finance department, who also stayed till the bitter end, was immensely helpful when it came to the extended warranty. He share his own experiences with his vehicles and answered all my questions which ultimately lead to my purchasing the warranty. A purchase I would have regretted NOT making. My hats off to you gentleman.

Honestly the worst possible dealership out there, so I came to lease a car from this dealership around July and was told my plates would come in within a month today is November 30th still no plates. Within these few months I was told due to covid the plates were delayed ok I understood them all of a sudden my plates were lost in transit, I still understood never called them or harassed them now since November 23 I have been trying to reach this one person by the name Dimitri and all my calls were directed to a voicemail I left a message and never received a call back. This is not the type of service you provide for your clients I am disgusted. This dealership should be ashamed of being even called a dealership.

The lady salesman who helped us smelled like cigarettes...and that really threw me off a lot from the start. To me, that's just a straight out bad manner coming from that individual and thats a bad representation of the dealership, although other sales reps were still helpful. This particular salesperson just did not seem very engaged, rather seemed very forced. She decided not to take that extra miles to impress us with their cars so we ended up leaving the dealer and got ourself a new car else where very next day.

I was looking for a CPO Acura RDX. I searched all over and did a lot of research on pricing . I decided on dch Acura of Montclair. My experience was great from my first call, I spoke to Ann and she was great, Barry Katz was my sales person, he was straight forward and we were able to come to a deal pretty quickly, the cars here are priced to move, he made it a great experience by going over any concerns I had and then explained all the accessories, bells and whistles in the rdx. Hamad Matari is the business manager and really worked with me to get the right financing and was professional and extremely personable. Nitin Bassi from management runs a terrific staff and dealership. I couldn t be more pleased with the purchase, buying a car can be very stressful, the staff at DCH Montclair Acura make sure you feel comfortable with the well appointed showroom and friendly faces. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is on the fence, choose DCHMontclair Acura for new or used high quality vehicles with friendly staff and great service!

Honestly I did not purchase a car here. I ended up with another brand I was deciding between. I dealt with several dealerships over the phone. Most were reluctant to answer specific questions unless I came in. DCH Montclair's staff were pleasant, informative, professional, and followed up several times after my inquiry. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a car in their area!

This message is for the owner or anybody considering to buy a car from here. I contacted Barry Katz, the sale consultant for a certified Acura MDX 2010. I called and confirmed that I would drive down to look at it. I drove almost 50 miles and called him before I arrived to make sure the car was there. When I got there, the car was in the body shop. I tried to set up a deal. They tried to give me $2,500 under my trade value. So I walked out and promised to let every customer know about this experience. First, A certified car in the body shop. Second, tried to steal my trade $2,500 under the value. I think there are several better Acura dealerships with better reputations.

I went there today to buy the Acura RDX and the salesman (ROBERT COLON) was extremely rude to the point that I couldn t get a word in. I even told him dude I m trying to get this car out of your parking lot and money is not an issue but he kept going on and on and telling me all the reasons why he thinks this deal shouldn t go through (without neither seeing my credit nor my financial statements) so I m irritated, confused and disgusted by his behavior (I don t know if he s just incompetent or if I was being profiled). Anyway I would discourage anyone to step foot in this dealership or if you do to avoid mr. Robert Colon like the plague if you don t feel like arguing with your salesman or blatantly discriminated against. Oh and did I mention that it s like pulling teeth to get a parking in their awkwardly small lot? I just wish google had a zero star option. Smh.

This has been my first vehicle lease in life and it went 100% smoother than I first imagined. Being a new buyer, I was nervous about leasing a car. Tony and Benjamin explained every last detail about loans, maintenance, car theft, fire protection and much more. Tony took the time to explain every last detail of the vehicle before I left to ensure I was fully aware of all the features included. I was able to leave with my brand new leased Acura RDX AWD with no hesitations or pending questions. The process was quick and painless. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

My experience at DCH Montclair was by far the best I ve had (I ve financed 3 vehicles prior. ) Our salesman,Tony Karatzia, was great and sold us a certified pre-owned Acura. The car is amazing! Called this morning about a used 2014 Jeep.Held on the phone for 20 min's waiting to make sure it was still available.
(This jeep was for my son who works two jobs and puts him self through college.)
I live over 1 1/2 Hours from this dealer.
I was told it would be there clean and ready to see and drive.
Got there and Jeep was dirty and full of dog hair.
Was totally insulted by the assn. sales manager.
Would only take $300.00 off selling price.
On my way home sitting in 2 1/2 hours + of Mem. Day Wkend traffic the sales Manager calls and offers us the truck for a $1,000.00 dollars off asking price.Tells us to think about it.
Approx. a half an hour later I call with a few questions.He tells me to take my time.Approx. another half hour later I call and tell him it's a go.
He tells me some one else is looking at it and he will get back to me.
Hours go by and he finally texts me no call ! a text.
They sold the truck for more money.

Fred the salesperson was amazing to work with and work with my brother with such patience on deciding what vehicle would be best for him and his family. Working with Tony Karatzia was the best experience I've had leasing a new car. There were no questions left unanswered. He was friendly, professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was also very knowledgeable about my options regarding turning my existing lease in early and the incentives that Acura provided.

First time at this location but 4th time purchasing with Mr. Fred Hill! I have followed this salesman for quite some time. I am so happy and extremely satisfied with my new 2020 RDX! Fred explained all the new features of the car! Excellent knowledge of all vehicles! The facility is very clean with snacks while you wait. Staff is very friendly! Bait and switch dealership... we had an agreement ...

Bait and switch dealership... we had an agreement on a lease deal, in text/email format. When we got to the dealership, the sketchy sales manager, Robert and his minion Phil, tried changing the lease terms... not once but Twice!.. After standing our ground with the first bait and switch they made us wait almost 3 hours, thinking they were preparing the vehicle, and then again changed the terms of the lease! They then refused us the vehicle at the agreed upon price, yelled at us for being dumb that we wouldn't accept the "incredible deal". We called their bluff and 24hrs later got the same car for a cheaper price a few miles down in Wayne. I have been leasing vehicles for >15 years and had never experienced such blatant lies and an overall awful experience. This dealership is what gives car salesman a bad name. Dont deal with this slimy crew!

If it wasn't for the Finance person, Hamad Matari, I probably would not have purchased the vehicle. He actually did the work of the salesperson.

He took me out for another test drive and he explained a lot of the features, and then got me the financing to purchase the car.

I also like to say the Used Car Manager, Joe Fardella, really did right by me and the purchase of my vehicle after the fact.

I would definitely recommend this dealership because of the two people I mentioned above.

The salesman Henry was excellent when I leased the car. Really one of the better car buying experiences. Unfortunately, I have had a couple of bad experiences with the service department. Most recently, I called yesterday at 3:45 pm to find out if there was a long wait for an oil change and tire rotation. Valerie told me to come right in and there was no wait. I arrived at the service center in fifteen minutes at 4:00 pm and was told the wait was an hour and a half. I asked to speak to the manager and he came out at 4:15 and told that that three people just came in before me and that is why there is now a long wait and he could get the car done in an hour. He was clearly not telling the truth because as I waiting for him another customer went to the receptionist and told her that he was leaving because he had been waiting a long time for an oil change. I left too and went to Jiffy lube. In and out in 25 minutes and they were honest and pleasant to deal with. On a prior occasion, I went for the same service and they failed to rotate the tires. Actually, I forgot to give them the key to the wheels. When I called they told me they had a master key. Again, this was a lie because one of my rims was nicked so I knew it was not rotated. When I called them out they admitted that the tech forgot to tell them he could not do it without the key. I have owned and leased several Acuras and this has been the worst dealer service experience. My lease is up in a few months and I would have liked to have gone back to Henry but I am really not at all happy with the service department. I give the sales department a 5 star and the service department a 1 star.

We have been buying and leasing cars for over 40 years. DCH Montclair Acura is without a doubt the most professional and friendliest dealer I have ever dealt with. Our salesman for all 10 cars, Walter Goldman, understands his customers and makes sure the cars and features he presents are those that are important to us. He is also very good in proactively telling his customer when deals are coming up and whether to accelerate or delay the purchase. The ease of the transaction and the no-hassle Acura Financial lease, including their great return policy, make getting the perfect new car stress free.
We just leased a 2019 A-Spec TLX AWD and it is just flat out a great looking and riding car. Or 2017 RDX lease is up next year and I am confident that we will be hearing from Walter exactly when the right time is to get a 2020 Acura in its place.
