You made me feel comfortable and kept me informed throughout the whole process and made my day more calmer. I wish I can give you ten stars. You were super professional and provided great service to not only myself but to my husband not only over the phone but also in person. You made it your concern to make sure we were happy at the end. I'm in the automotive business and can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences I've had purchasing a vehicle.
Everyone I interacted with was professional, honest and courteous.
I showed up without an appointment on a very busy day. Barry squeezed me into his busy day and still made sure I received superior service.
Barry and Hamad both stayed way past closing to get my deal done which was really appreciated and not once did either complain.

I love my Acura's and now Love Montclair Acura just as much.

The worst dealer ever. They sold a car that had an accident that wasn't on the car fax, they didn't have the title and gave me 3 temp tags which is suppose to be illegal. I went in to get my warranty cancelled Jamie told me he did it and 2 months later I call the warranty company and he never sent the paper work. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND DON'T GO TO DCH ACURA THEY WILL LIE AND SCAM YOU

Had a great experience buying a used car here today. They honored the price quoted on the internet with no additional fees / hidden costs ( not our experience with other dealerships who then tacked on dealer prep fees in addition to the standard document fee / taxes). They also did work on the car ( brakes, tires etc) so you felt assured you were buying a reliable car that hopefully isn't going to need any work for a little while.
Everyone was very friendly. We worked with Tim and Lora in sales and Jaime from finance. It was an extremely low pressure sale and easy. Would definitely buy here again.

Let me tell you something, it s never fun process to purchase a car at any dealership but with the exception of Anthony Bollotta as my salesman! Very polite and professional especially in a time we live in now. He took every precaution necessary and his time to work out a deal which I am very happy about! I have never dealt with such terrific dealership and the team they provide! Very professional and warm welcoming dealership.!I highly recommend them and Anthony Bollotta for making a deal come true! Thank you guys again. Will also service my new TLX here as well!

I usually do not do any reviews, but ACURA DCH MONTACLAIR deserves for everyone to know how amazing everyone is there. This is my second time purchasing a car from them and there is nothing I can say except ALL AMAZING things. Jonathan IS AMAZING. He is not your typical sales guy that stands over your shoulder and hounds you down. He gave us all the facts,numbers and let us decide on our own. He called us to see how the car was doing a couple days after.
When my plates came in they called to let me know that they can be picked up but because of my schedule they told me they can over night them.
Jonathan is your guy to go to . Will be seeing him when its time for my next car 100%

I was tired of my BMW and was looking for something new. After meticulous searching the web and reading reviews, I came in here to inquire about the 2015 Acura TLX. At first sight let me tell you this car was gorgeous, it reminded me of the Sonata, but this is definitely no Hyundai.

Anyway, I had called ahead of time and made an appointment to see Annabelle. She answered a few of my questions over the phone and surprisingly was very knowledgeable about the car (I guess it is her job). When I walked in the showroom, she was there to greet me with a smile. Let me add it was a sincere genuine smile, nothing like those smirks that car salesman or should I say vultures give at the smell of fresh meat. She offered me coffee and made me feel welcomed.

Shortly after talking for a bit, I felt like my guard was down, not in a bad way, but in a good way. She really was looking out for my best interests and gave me several options to meet my needs. My lease is coming to an end and I am eager to get out of it and get something new. The staff and everyone at Montclair Acura was very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. I will def be stopping by here soon and making a purchase as soon as my lease ends. I cannot wait.

It I could give this place a zero I would. The most unprofessional rude service people I ever met in my life. I purchased an extended warranty and the service person tells me nothing is covered. She was nasty and unconcerned about any of my issues. She just wanted to charge me $500.00 for a transmission flush that may or may not fix the problem. The service tech was just as incompetent. He continued to deny there was any problem even though 2 of us were in the car and could feel the transmission slip. The only helpful person in the entire place was the the man i purchased the warranty from. Kudos to him for his honesty. He was a 5 star employee. The service staff was a disgrace. Never by a car from this dealership especially a used one!!!!

I have been leasing vehicles for over 25 years and have never had an experience as poor and as aggravating as this one. The car itself is fine the mistake I made is walking in the door. I have little tolerance in my life for dishonest people. Maybe I can get a phone call back by the General Manager would love to have a chat with him.

The dealership charged her $49 which is almost double the price of the OEM part online. Also, I called around to other dealerships and the prices were considerably lower. Talk about price gouging!!! Unfortunately, the item can not be returned due to Covid 19.

I wish I could give these guys 10 stars for Customer Service --- Especially Tim Hlavenka who goes above and beyond whats required of them. They put my convenience above everything... 5-star treatment all the way!! Right from the day of the purchase, for which I did not have to leave my driveway;... to fixing a minor issue for which they picked-up my car from the train station, repaired it and dropped it off before I returned from work. And another time, when I hurt my car door, they picked up my car, dropped off a loaner and were with me on the repair and claim process the whole time. They even worked with my car insurance company saving me time and hassle. I cannot say for sure if its Mr. Hlavenka or the full dealership is that amazingly helpful... but I am very thankful for their service!! They set a new standard in Customer Care!

Service department is good but sales is pretty bad. They mislead you into buying their $1000 service contract when you only need to do oil changes for $40 like 4 times. They will tell you its needeed because the service is very expensive. So be very careful dont let them bs you. And they give you ridiculous prices on a lease to see if they can catch you offguard if youre that stupid. But the service guys and gals are professional. Dont buy a car here but do service it!

Showed up for a confirmed appointment, waited an hour, and they had no clue why I was there. No effort to make things right. Walter is amazing! We were lucky to have worked with him... I cannot recommend him and DCH enough. He's patient, kind, funny and not your typical car salesman. We shopped around a lot, and an Acura wasn't a top choice - but working with Walter changed our mind about the service and solid reputation of Acura. I bought my RDX Advance from this dealership and would absolutely recommend this dealership to my friends and family in a blink, especially Harry and Colleen. They are really gem of the sales professionals - they offered the right price to begin with - and helped me choose the car and options without any sales pressure and offered very honest upfront advise throughout.

Couple of examples of truly outstanding sales experiences with Harry - Since it was quite late(1030 pm+ at night) while picking up my car - and my daughter was getting impatient - Harry in fact drove down to our home next evening to elaborately explain all the features of the car for over an hour. Additionally he added his phone no in the car favorites - so that I could call him anytime if I needed any help. That's going above and beyond the call of the duty and offering an experience I am gonna recount forever.

I was dreading having to go into a dealership to deal with a car salesman due to previous experience. When I started dealig with James it was like a ray of sunshine. I have never met a more friendly, knowledgeble and proffesional car dealer in my entire life (and I have been around for a while). I started shopping at Acura and was planning to visit Ford and BMW after that. Needless to say James impressed me so much that I decided to buy my car immediatly and never visited the other dealers. At NO point during my buying experience I felt pressured or intimidated, he explained all of the fees and gave me all the information that I needed going over all of the paperwork line by line making sure that I understood everything that I was signing. He made sure that the MDX I purchased had the running board I chose put on right away and it was prepared and ready to go when I arrived to pick it up.
This experience has left me feeling there is still hope for car salesman all over. I will tell all of my friends and family about this and will recommend DCH and James to anyone that I know that is in the market for a car. Thank you James for your great work and I'm truly happy with my new car.

The Service Department Advisor Victor is thorough, understanding and professional. He is straightforward and I appreciate that. Somethings can wait and some can't. He was helpful with the recalls on my MDX from beginning to end. I received a free loaner and I didn't even buy my truck there but I've been getting service there ever since. I highly recommend their service department. They honor other competitor's coupons and no hassles.

They knew we were coming from out of state and we told them we would be coming that day and gave them an estimated time of arrival. We have been waiting 2 hours. This customer service is unacceptable. One gentleman that was helping us was nice, but it doesn t excuse the amount of time it took to complete the transaction. He told us only 10-15 minutes more , we waited another 30 min. Glad I will never have to deal with this again.

The receptionist is a new person, Latoya Davis. She cheated on the service price by at least 100% ( I later founded it out). I was very angry about this activity. I will take next step.

Really great first time impression! Had to get some parts for an Acura, being that it is an older model, I knew it would take some time. And the advisor in parts, Kevin, was a great help. Gave me a printout of the area of the car I was working with so I can get exactly what I was looking for. He was extremely helpful and even was able to give me a time frame on when these parts would be ready for pick up. Very clean show room, everyone looked ready to help at a moments notice. Great dealership!

First came here in 2015. Our lease was coming to a close so I explored other car options. Unfortunately I went to a place where I encountered the worst stereotype of car sales people (cough:cough Maul Piller Honda). That experience helped me better appreciate Walter and the courteous and respectful team at DCH Acura. I called Walter, told him I wanted a switch out for a new model, told him my preferred price points, and without wasting time or playing games he got me exactly what I had wanted. It was so easy that I paid the deposit over the phone.

These guys are a class act. And you can tell the folks here aren't putting on a show--they're happy, and have a good time at work (we got to witness them playing around as the dealership closed).

I explained what I needed, he located two cars he knew I would be interested in, asked me if I can come the next day by 9:30AM!!! This dealer - DCH Montclair Acura has very professional and skilled sales people. Lora Moore in Finance completed all of the paperwork - electronically and on paper (for NYS DMV) with precision and a smile. No high pressure sales tactics, 2019 MDX Tech Package is awesome!

I made an appointment, arrived 20 minutes early and wasn't acknowledged for 30 minutes after checking in the receptionist. Then I leave my car and no one calls for updates or anything. I texted the number the service guy gave me... ....no reply. When 6pm arrives and i get worried because no one called the entire time.... the service guy is gone. No one had paperwork on my car and told me the vehicle had not been seen by a tech due to timing. Please note, I dropped my car off at 1:40 and picked it up at 6 ish. So I left with no idea what they did or the outcome. The next day, around late afternoon, the service guy finally calls stating my car was seen but his explanation was vague. Just something to get me out of the way. Now I have to pay for a second opinion. My experience was horrible this time.

Be super careful when you doing service here. I can't believe even the service department is using 'bait and switch' technique. I made a phone to DCH Acura regarding a service of my MDX, they quoted $299 for doing service 3 and service 6. I think the price is fair so I came to the dealer. The service advisor first shows me a receipt of the maintenance which is $299, I sign up my name and gave her the key. After 30 minutes, she called me saying the previous quoted price was wrong and that's for a older model and for mine model it would cost much higher. It was in a middle of the maintenance so I have to agree the unreasonable price change. I paid nearly $600 in the end. It was a very unpleasant experience doing service here. BE CAREFUL!!
