We searched private sellers on the internet and visited a variety of local auto dealerships but found the best price and best overall quality for our daughter's car at Montclair Acura. We were not seeking a top-of-the-line new model but were treated graciously and it was clear that our salesperson, Tony Karatzia, cared about the vehicle and about our daughter's well-being as its owner. We were also supported through the purchase by Paul Wong and Hamad Matari and came away with a strong sense of trust in the dealership's staff overall.

I recently leased a 2019 Acura TLX from Montclair Acura. Unlike other dealerships, my experience there was 100% positive. I was assisted promptly and the salesperson who assisted me, Lovena Sangiovanni, did not try to pressure me into any particular decision. She fully explained my options, discussed the pricing and was very knowledgeable about the features of all the models. Once I made my decision, the manager, John Nguyen and the finance rep, Hamad Matari, made the price negotiations and the paperwork very stress free. Lovena had the car ready for me on the pick-up date and she fully explained everything I needed to know about the car. I strongly recommend DCH Montclair Acura and in particular Lovena for anyone seeking a new car.

There is only one word that can describe my experience at the DCH Montclair Acura Dealership and that word is "wow".

I was fortunate to have one of the best salesmen, Jonny Liu, I have ever seen in my life. My wife and I went into the dealership to merely browse for a new family car but I walked out purchasing a new 2016 Acura MDX.

He provided great information in regards to all the models we were eye shopping on, but most importantly provided great advice and recommendations for each model we considered. Needless to say my wife and I were very happy with our selection and highly recommend not only this dealership but also this salesman! He knows what he is doing and you will feel great walking out!

As a single woman who has never purchased a used car from a dealership I couldn't have been more surprised by the excellent service and guidance by the entire team of DCH and especially the salesperson Tony Karatzia. He was patient, informative, answering all my questions about the car and the process. I never felt rushed nor pressured. More than that I was only interested in purchasing a car that was probably less than a third of the cost of their regular Accura cars, and yet i was treated as if i were buying an equally expensive model. I specially liked that there were many women employees like Alyssa Hrubash, and that the courtesy and respect extended to women buyers. The financing person was diligent and superb, Jaime Borja, and Victor Rodriguez in the Service Department made sure as well that all was taken care of. All around a great experience. Who knew buying a used car could be so much fun!? And relatively stress free. Thanks you DCH!

DCH Montclair Acura is by far the best dealership in New Jersey! My experience was phenomenal. The sales process went very smooth, no hassle or pressure. My sales consultant Waldo was very professional, courteous and knew the Acura brand very well. I had all my questions answered and even got a great offer for my trade. John the manager was very friendly with superb professionalism. His kind and welcoming demeanor made me feel very comfortable.
Hamad in finance was amazing! He made the whole financial process fun and explained all the paperwork I was siging in full detail. I will definitely come back for my second Acura once my lease is up! Thank you Waldo, John and Hamad for an AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!

I initially started discussions with Lora Moore about 2 months ago but couldn't finalize a deal since I had about 3 more payments on an existing competitor's lease. I decided to finish the lease out and restart discussions later. 2 months past and Lora was able to restart discussions with me and we were able to work out a great lease deal on a 2018 MDX. Throughout the whole process, Lora answered all my questions and was able to put me at ease concerning what it would be like to be an Acura customer (I have owned/leased Mercedes, BMW, Audi in the past). Even when Lora was busy or out of the office, Ann was able to step in and help out to make sure I was making steady progress. When it came time to financing, Hamad was great and we spent some time chatting about good airlines to fly for international travel. All in all, DCH Acura was a great experience and the whole team came together nicely for me to complete the lease agreement. I expect a similar experience a couple months from now for my first service!

Purchased a used chevy traverse. I can not say enough about how amazing Keith and the staff are at DCH Acura! I came to them in a bind needing a new car ASAP. They could not have been more friendly and helpful. They gave me a fair price for my trade and the whole process took less than 2 hours from test drive to deal complete with keys in hand. Which if you've ever purchased a car you know is super fast. If you're in the market for a new or used car I highly recommend DCH. You will not be disappointed! I'm so happy with my "new to me" SUV.

They did not stand on their word. Stated that they would charge a higher price for a 2000 Infiniti G20 if they had to make some repairs, or do a 35 point check. They also said that they would charge a lower price if they did not do a 35 point check and no other repair than an oil change. When we returned to the showroom, we were presented us with an invoice for a bulb replacement that read N/C. They had also done a 35 point charge, or so they said, and were charging that to us as well. Overall, $250.00 more was added to the price for this car with over 120,000 miles. Kelly stated that they were already $850.00 over the true value of the car. This was before their dealership charges! Found them untrustworthy, and uncaring towards me as a customer. "Bad Carma".

Top Notch Facility. I've had nothing but great experiences anytime I've had to utilize DCH Montclair Acura. Melissa in service is amazing!! She keep me posted on the status of my vehicle throughout the process of the repair. The actual service rep, I have an issue with which is why this review didn't receive 5 stars. I need to have a plastic reservoir cap replaced, it is clearly broken. This was one of the main reasons, I was bringing the 2006 TL in for service. I'm not going to throw anyone under the bus, I will assume as much responsible for the miscommunication of the cap not being replaced. If you refill the coolant, from doing a radiator flush. I think you would notice a broken cap. It was listed on my invoice as being requested to be replaced. It wasn't. That was a great disappointment. I will continue to use DCH because overall, they rock and with staff members like Melissa, they have to be doing something right!! I should be picking up the replacement part today. Thanks again, Melissa......YOU ROCK!!!

We had the best car buying experience, really. I was first helped by Colleen who is the internet sales person and was so kind and patient answering my emails and phone calls in a very professional manner. She regularly followed up with me which showed their eagerness to win my business (and it worked) unlike some dealers where they have the "don't like it, then don't buy" attitude. Then she introduced me to John Nguyen, the second best part of the process. John was professional when discussing the price that he gives you assurance and trust (I truly don't see that in many sales people). Now the best part, was meeting with Waldo at the day of purchase. He is very patient and professional because, I admit, we were quite demanding customers but he accomodated everything for us. It was a very busy day and we did have to wait for a while, and I am sure it must have been a dreading day for these people as well, but Waldo seemed very happy to work with us. I highly recommend working with Waldo. Thanks to Waldo, I would definitely do business with them again. I mean, what are the chances to meet with 4-5 different people (including the finance officer Hamad and NSX specialist Harry) in one dealership and enjoy working with them all at the same time, right?!

The staff at DCH were so helpful and courteous that I m actually looking forward to my next car purchase. Hammad made the whole financing process so easy and was professional through the whole process. I would recommend DCH to anyone looking to buy a new or used car. I even stopped by the service department to get an oil change and Victor went over the all the monitoring systems in my current MDX. Turns out I didn t need to get the oil change, but he still took the time to explain all the ways the MDX is monitoring the different fluid levels and when I could expect to come in for service.

Had a great car buying experience. I bought a used 2010 TSX and was given the vip treatment as if i was buying a new NSX. Annabel assisted me in the car buying process and I have to say it was the most stress free buying experience. Not once did I feel rushed into something or feel as if i had to have on a pokerface. Hamad finalized the paperwork and he also took the time to talk about my finance options without me feeling lost. I would definitely recommend this dealer to family & friends.

I initially encountered Keith Mickens that day who answered a few questions and was extremely personable. I would definitely recommend DCH Acura if you are looking for a new or pre owned vehicle. The dealership itself is really nice and very comfortable. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Our salesman, Tony was great. He was friendly and he made the whole process really easy. Barbara at the Reception desk was awesome, they could not have a better person greeting customers. I would go back just to hang out with her, LOL. As we walked into the show room we knew exactly what we were looking for.. as we stand at the desk, this polite older man - Robert Westervelt - asked if we were being assisted, we answered no and he kindly asked for us to have a seat that someone will be out to help us in a couple of minutes. Shortly after, Robert introduced us to Ron Morera; Ron was assigned as our client advisor. Ron was excellent! Ron worked with us and fought to get us the best deal! He really made sure we were able to obtain exactly what we wanted.

Very difficult place to work with. As vehicle transporter we were asked to pick up a vehicle for another dealership and were treated very unprofessionally by a person named Aida. We have given plenty of notice before we were coming to pick up the vehicle, still it took over 3 hrs for someone to come and help us.

Although I am satisfied with my purchase, the customer service department is awful. It takes forever to get anyone on the phone or to receive a phone call back after being promised that your call would be returned and concerns would be addressed. I was told my car would be fixed and after leaving the dealer after 3 hours they failed to fix what was needed. I fixed the issue on my own and I am very disappointed with the customer service I received. Was a good place for a sale, but anything after that...good luck!

I recently went to DCH Montclair Acura based off of a recommendation from a coworker. My father had just purchased an Acura at another dealership and I had every intention of going back. We went here just to get some pricing, and immediately were greeted and treated with such respect. I began my car buying process with Lora Moore, and I cannot stress enough how amazing she was! From the beginning, she listened to what I was looking for, made recommendations based on what I told her, and worked with us to get the best price. She never pushed me into purchasing immediately, and once I made the decision, she made the car buying process so incredibly easy. She was very knowledgable and never tried to persuade me with anything else. Buying a car can be a hassle, but Lora took the stress and anxiety out of it. We will definitely be back in the future, and I definitely recommend Lora to all for a great car buying experience!

I was very impressed by both Mr. Wong and Mr. Nguyen. They made our car buying experience an excellent way to spend our afternoon. Their knowledge in knowing the product and the needs of their customers was noteworthy. Even when my wife and I weren't sure about the product, with confidence, they insisted on us test driving other vehicles, to compare and understand what their product is worth. Very disappointed that I had point out the different trim, color and pricing options were available then I was told v6 SH-AWD Tech would not be released until Nov 2014. Sorry to say, I am going to take my buisness to Acura of Denville or Bridgewater Acura.

DCH Acura is filled with people who care for you and your family. We have been going back to this dealership for several years now even though we have two Acura's closer to our home. The quality of their customer service and the honesty they bring to the negotiation table is unmatched with any other place i have shopped or have been too. My wife was purchasing a new MDX A-spec and i was looking for a used car for my son which just got his license. They got numbers for us quickly and onces we where happy with the deals we arrived at DCH Acura where our new cars where ready to go! If you are looking for a new vehicle DCH Montclair Acura should be the first place you look, you will be treated like family there.

Where do I begin? I had a first class car buying experience from the moment I walked into the door. I received a warm welcome from Walter. I was not quite sure of what I wanted, but I knew once I saw it, I would know. Walter was so patient and understanding with me, he accommodated me as much as possible. He directed me to Hamad, to help me with my financing, let me say, Hamad is a breath of fresh air. He is funny, he is accommodating, and he will work his hardest to get you the best deal possible. I ultimately decided on another brand, but would have definitely purchased from here had I gone with Acura just from the few interactions I had with them and the fact that the pricing could not be touched by any other dealerships around me. Recently bought a new vehicle here. At the beginning of the buying process, we have identified the vehicle but it has more miles on it than average brand new vehicles. So I asked the salesperson the reason of that, and he said typically new cars have 10 to 30 miles, but because their lot is a bit far from the dealership, hence the slightly higher mileage. Ok, I trusted him on that even though I still have a slight doubt. Then we when are ready to go ahead with the purchase, I told him that I would like to look at the vehicle first, which make sense to see the item before buying. But then he said he already has the vehicle taken from the lot of getting prepared for the delivery, and said that I don't have to worry, as all their vehicles are brand new and I can still see it before driving it off the lot, and if there's anything I can cancel the deal. Fine, I trusted him again and moved on. When I finally took delivery of the vehicle, he just briefly and not so enthusiastically went through the simple stuffs on the radio, a/c, etc. and then took off, he didn't bother to walk through the whole vehicle with me to make sure is everything is ok. And then it finally struck me. At this point I finally got to see the window sticker of the vehicle, and noticed the vehicle is actually a dealer trade and from another state. This explains the relatively higher mileage. So from my experience I felt that the dealership and the salesperson are kind of shady and aren't very truthful to the customer, try to hide information and not offering what the customer wants. With this I just want to warn others to be a bit cautious with the salespeople here.
