I shopped at 10 different dealerships in the area, most over the phone, who all gave me the same sales pitch: no price over the phone, come in and we can talk about pricing and get you the best deal (when really they see how much they can take from you), and then the classic "I will beat anybody's pice! Just come in with the offer and I can get it lower" aka I'll manipulate the numbers and take the sale.

Delivering Customer Happiness, true, they really do. I was surprised how honest and straight forward the staff was. Spoke to both managers who gave me upfront pricing over the phone, which was also the lowest by the way. Came right into the store. No sales pitches or wasted time, very professional and courteous. Still shopped around after, but came right back the next day. No one can match their honesty and low pricing. It's important to deal with an honest dealer, there are so many ways crooked dealerships can swindle you out of money--not theses guys. Lowest price, honest, straight forward. What more can you ask for? Extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I just wanted to share what a great experience I had at DCH Montclair Acura, Nitin Bassi the sales manager was great and was able to help and over see the whole process, Anthony Bollotta the use car manager was understanding, patient and very helpful as well as Richard Morales the salesperson, they all worked together to make sure I was 100% satisfied. (And I m someone who is very hard to please) :-)

I came back to DCH as my current TLX lease was coming to an end with the idea of looking at the RDX. Walter patiently took me on the test drive, explained all the new technology and answered all my questions. I was impressed with the quality, performance, and looks of the SUV but to get most of the safety features I was looking for put it over my budget. I decided to look at the TLX again and once more Walter patiently again took me out for another test drive. After experiencing the new TLX which included the safety features I wanted and with a greatly improved tech user interface from my current one (and within my budget), I drove my new one home, a very satisfied customer.

My experience with DCH Montclair Acura was great the moment I walked in. The only drawback I can say is that nobody greeted me at the front desk when I first walked in. The receptionist must have been busy at that particular moment. That was fine because it led me to meet with Tony Karatzia. I had already test driven the car that I wanted and received a price at another Acura dealership so I came in seeing if they can beat the initial offer or meet my price that I thought was fair. After a few basic , no hassle questions, Tony returned from talking to his Managers and gave me a price that I was happy with. The entire process took approximately 10mins. Car shopping should be this way all the time! I have confidence that this dealership will beat or at least match any other dealership without the hassles. I would recommend DCH Montclair Acura to my friends and family. Alex, the financing guy was great as well. Good sense of humor.

I want to express how happy I am with Acura Montclair DCH sales department. I was lucky to work with Harry Jones, he really knew all the answers to my questions. I test drove an Acura TL Aspec with Harry. I love that he actually gave me the chance to experience the car on the road. He made me aware of all the features and when to use them before and while I was on the road. It turned out because I had negative equity with my current TL that I was trading in, my payments would be above my preferred price range. Harry was able to show me alternatives that I also fell in love with (minus the fact that I really wanted red seats.. not his fault). Harry was able to get me into the Acura TLX and explained I would be happy with a 4 Cylinder over a 6 Cylinder, that I really wouldn't feel the difference.... HE WAS RIGHT! He explained it s really all about the money and how much I would be saving gas wise. He also explained the very little I would be missing if I decided to go with the technology package over the advance. I didn t feel bamboozled with Harry. He really broke everything down for me and took my price range into consideration every step of the way. Because my car had to be transferred from another dealer, I went the following weekend to pick it up. I sat with Hamad (finance) who knew his sh**! He was extremely welcoming and managed to have friendly conversation while multitasking. He was quick and efficient. My night became extremely long When I went to transfer my belongings; I locked both my old car keys into the trunk of my old car..ughhhhhhh! Frustrating! But no worries the family came out to help right away and they did not leave until we were able to open the car. I couldn t thank the team enough, Harry, Hamad, Richard, John, and lovely Lora, for doing some over time on my behalf! (Sorry Guys!!) I was glad for my night to be over and I felt extremely bad but they didn t shed any sign of frustration. I truly appreciate the quality care and sales service that everyone at Acura Montclair DCH has shown me from the moment I stepped through those doors. I will be back in due time! Thank you all!

I would like to first say this company has fantastic staff who are very helpful and intelligent about the field. Someone who stuck out to me most however was Ann Morongell. It was breath taking to see someone so passionate about their job and so kind to their customers. She helped me with everything I needed and gave me confidence that I can trust this dealership. The way they've treated me they really don't deserve one star.They will say anything to get you to buy a car and once you do the good customer service stops. Last year I purchased a pre owned honda accord from dch montclair from Barry Katz from the time i signed the papers they lied, the car had been in an accident that wasn't reported on the car fax because it was previously owned by one of their employee's and was fixed there. Only after I singed the paper work did they disclose this, then they didn't have the title so I had to get 3 Temp tags and my car was towed. When i called they all tried to play stupid until I wrote a bad review then the GM called me and said they would reimburse me if I changed the review. So Now I traded the honda in and went there to cancel my warranty to find out one month later that the Finance Jamie never submitted my request and would have just kept my money. This is no way to do business and I'm very disappointed in DCH Acura's shady policy. Dear DCH Acura Please keep me off your call list. I WOULD NEVER EVER,EVER. EVER ,EVER, BUY A CAR FROM YOUR COMPANY.

Event though I reside an hour away, I was very pleased with my experience at DCH Montclair Acura. Walter helped me to return my previously leased ILX with no hassle. I've owned a Hyundai and a jeep before and all those experiences were acceptable but here at Montclair Acura it was superb. I have to say, I had a great car buying experience at this location. The representative Fred Hill was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I recently gave birth and I drive a coupe. I explained it was imperative he put me in a 4 door car and I needed it ASAP. He listened to my needs and my list of demands!! He wasn t like most salesmen and was pushy. He was very patient and accommodated all of my needs. He offered great recommendations and shortly I drove off in my brand new TLX. I have to say he provided superb service. I wish I could give zero reviews. I and robert agreed on buying numbers on phone as I leave 2.5 hours away. Shockingly, when I reached there, they changed the number and I had to go back. I wasted 6 hours for nothing. On top of that, robert took us with him to check the recorded phone conversation, and he only listened the part that he wanted to not the entire part of the conversion. Please do not go there.

We returned our Acura to this dealership and the following happened:
1. They didn't send in our information to Corporate that we returned our previous leased car, and got charged two monthly payments. Took 6 weeks to get our money back and they made us call corporate (apparently they don't have their phone number and make the customer handle their mistake?)

2. And this is the worst, most deceiving part - we were 20k miles over our lease - but SIGNED A DOCUMENT stating that they were waiving all of the miles (~5k value) to lease a new Acura, which we did. This was one of the main reasons we stuck with Acura rather than switching to a Jeep. Fast forward 2 months - we get a bill from Corporate Acura stating we owe 5k. Talked to dealership and they have a note IN THEIR SYSTEM stating that had stated all mileage charges waived. They also stated this was an ERROR ON THEIR PART and apologized but said there was NOTHING THEY COULD DO. They never called Corporate Acura for us to state this and made us handle all communication. This was after they commented numerous times as we were signing our new lease that they had never seen this much mileage waived before. THEY SENT US TO COLLECTIONS AND KNOCKED OUR CREDIT SCORE 100 POINTS AND CONTINUE TO CALL DAILY. I STRONGLY ADVISE NOT GOING TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!

Hamad Matari in finance took care of all details an an excellent manner. Shawn Honeycutt, the used car manager, was also excellent. I was being helped by Lora and she was super clear in everything she said to me. She legit gave me the deal I wanted and I walked out of there with my first lease. Bunch of liers. I bought a porche there. There was a problem with vibration in the car that we felt during the test drive. They offer to take it to porsche to fix it before we pick up the car. It never happened. When I took it to porsche, it was a transfer case and they took care of it and problem was solved. When I pick up the car from dch I asked for evidence that the car was taken to porsche , none was available. The oil change light was on, I asked if that was taken care of. Sale person says yea. I asked for evidence, none was available. After i picked up the car from porsche, I tried calling for 3 days to try to speak to a manager, none will call me back.. sales person says he will call me to resolve, still nothing. I spent 600 to get car oil change and fix by porsche. It wasn't a deal killer for me but the way this company handel the situation is embarrassing.During the purchase, optional things like gap insurance and vehicle tracking, and nitrogen was added to my bill, which i was able to get some of it removed. They are very quick with promises to get the deal done but do not follow through. BEWARE! Not to mention, I still have not received my license plate. It's been over 3 weeks. If it come in, they want to charge me to send the plate to my address. It should have been covered under the out of state fee that i was charged.Money Hungry People at this dealership.

Great customer service at DCH Montclair Acura. They did a great job in getting me a better rate than the one I came approved with from my lender, and my sales person Keith Mickens was really knowledgeable.

I was a bit frustrated when the check engine light came on the day after I drove off the lot, but it turned out to be an O2 sensor, and the service center fixed the issue once the parts came in. Everyone in the service area is extremely pleasant, and all in all I enjoyed my experience. I would buy from them again, and recommend them to friends/family.

Found a nail on my tire a day after purchasing my car and had to buy a brand new tire as they refused to take care of it themselves stating that I got the nail on my way home. Mind you, I only drove home after the purchase, which is less than 3 miles away. Meanwhile at least 2 different people came in that day for the same exact problem

Purchased a new 2014 MDX from this dealership. The sales WAS great. Everyone was my best friend. Purchased an additional "road hazard wheel warranty" through Montclair's finance when I bought the vehicle. Recently I had a problem with the wheel which required the wheel to be replaced. I contacted the dealership and had the run around from every department until I ended up at Finance. I have been leaving a message for someone at Montclair Acura's Finance to call me back about the warranty. I have left 15 messages (once every week) and it's been 3 months and no one has replied. The lack of communication is sad as if they don't know you. I will not be going back nor will I recommend anyone. Getting a new 2019 RDX but Montclair will not be getting my business.

Update 6/28/18: The person that I have been leaving my message with is "Ali" at Finance. Apparently, finance managers are you best friends when trying squeeze a couple more dollars out of you (and I get it, its their job). But when Ali fails to call messages left to him about a warranty, that is very bad form. ....boo

I was quoted a reasonable price they honored it, negotiation was fairly limited which is all I can ask for. The whole process of getting a car is unpleasant and DCH was straightforward and honest making it painless. I did not have to deal with 1950's bait and switch tactics, prices advertised and quoted where honored. I left with the car that day and my salesperson Anabel Galarza was not pushy and didn't try to answer objections with a canned response, She did not try hard push any features me. And was patient as I tried the basic TLX and and one with the upgraded engine with an added technology package. Which makes it easier to decide since I received unbiased honest answers, which did not feel as if they had been 100 percent in the dealerships interests. I would do business with them again. I cannot comment on the service yet, since I just purchased the car. But she has returned my calls and emails really fast after purchase to answer questions regarding getting my plates and post-sale concerns. Which makes me think they will continue to service the car honestly. Alleviating post sale concerns of ignoring me or just responding if they can get revenue from me after I have made my transaction. In the end I went with the upgraded TLX. I am happy with my choice. The car drives well, is comfortable, quiet and I don t feel fleeced. All my criteria for purchasing a car where met without any hassle or regrets and that is all I really wanted.

We came to the dealership seeking a deal on MDX Advance, mainly because the price quoted in email beat any offers we got from other NJ dealers AND a phone call the night before from the general manager, Frank. Walter Goldman was our sales guy. We never thought it would be possible to do this transaction (and with a load of accessories installed) in one day. All without a hustle or gimmicks, a very smooth transaction. Walter took care of everything, including talking to our insurance agent. And after the car was ready for delivery, Walter spent a good deal of time walking my wife over various features and options. Very satisfied with the dealership and a very good experience dealing with Walter. We would highly recommend both! Service could be a little more flexible with accessories installed (especially in a bulk)

Excellent courteous staff, but I was sold used car that is a lemon. I have had to bring the car in for service twice in four months--and am about to bring it in a 3rd time. Immediately after the last visit the gas mileage slipped from over 30 mpgs to 20--barely 20. That's combined highway/local. Horrible for a TSX. Again, staff is pleasant --but they sold this as a low maintenance vehicle; it has been a total hassle. Hopefully this will be fixed and will be the last problem.

I would personally steer away from purchasing a used car here. My Nissan Murano had a check engine light on 24 hours after bringing it home which led me to believe the dealership did a reset as so I wouldn t catch it during the test drive. I did a light reset myself and lo and behold the light came on 24 hours after. My car was also not state inspected (my fault for not thinking to inquire about that) at time of purchase so you can just throw their little 35 point checklist sheet out the car window.

Unlike some other dealerships, the sales people at DCH were genuinely friendly and compassionate. Kirsy made me feel so comfortable, stayed to 10:30 pm to be sure everything went through, set up the Bluetooth in my car and even set up the Bluetooth in the car I came in.
