The employees are not that friendly and rooms are out dated. In my room the fire place didn't work and the bathroom wall paint was falling down. I had no cups or mugs to drink coffee in the room not sure what happen to them. The coffee maker as well as the microwave have seen better days. The whole place was not kept up. It's a shame because at one time it looks like that was an amazing place. I did enjoy the pool.

Went for Thanksgiving buffet- would not reccommend this place. Food was average and stations were messy. Dessert was a joke and a disaster. Live music was a joke as well. Casual place for the family.

This is our first winter in the Northeast moving from Texas in 2018, so we thought, let's do a winter vaca like the locals!! This place came highly recommend because we have a toddler and love family time. From the very clean indoor pool and outdoor heated pools, to the walk out the door and jump on a Pony Rides! This place has a great system for kids and plenty of ways for the parents to relax at same time. STAFF was superior in their greetings and service from LifeGuards to waitress and Especially Tracy at the front desk! She personally brought our bottle of Champagne to ensure we could e joy it and make dinner on time. WOW!

I have visited this place on multiple occasions and my family have been members for years. We enjoyed it so much that I was given a gift certificate to get my own membership. This is where customer service shows a lack of understanding and wanting to do business. I talked with one of the sales reps and understood the price and was more than willing to pay it but I am moving across the country in a few months and they dont offer monthly memberships. Beyond that they said that they would charge me an additional $100 when I did terminate my membership. I always like visiting and am more than understanding of their construction that has shut down most of the spa section for weeks. Please fix your customer service so that you understand people aren't stuck in locations indefinitely and accept them while they are there.

I stayed here for my friends wedding but it zeemed nice as sport centers (basketball court, tennis court,) and spa swimming pool are located together. Unfortunately we booked our room too closed to the date and as it was during memorial day weekend, room for two adults with a newborn baby was too much for a luxury room which didnt even have lamps or usb charger plug access. Also i was overcharged for charges that were alresdy included in my original hotel charge so i have to call to dispute.

Minerals Resort and Spa is similar to Mountain Creek (the ski resort) in the sense that if you are trying to teach your kids to ski, it is convenient, but other than that, it is bad. We rented two rooms on Super Bowl Sunday. The rooms were a threadbare disaster that cost more than $800 for one night. They were small and the set-up was terrible. However, for the kids, they had an indoor/outdoor heated pool and an indoor basketball court. If you are an adult looking for a nice weekend, forget this place. If you live in New York City and want to see if your kids like skiing and want to swim in the pool in the evening, this may be worth it.

When we first arrived I was so excited and as the day progressed disappointed set in. Really old and shabby rooms. Could hear the people and their child screaming in the next room. Elements Spa was average. The worse: coffee, tea and breakfast served only after 8 am. Staff is ok. Kites restaurant staff were pretty good but the food was expensive and not worth it.

We were there for new years eve. What they promised for buffet is not what we got. There was only DJ and baloon artist whereas they advertised magician. Games and activities for kids - nothing. All stat hotel was cold , pool was extremely cold- lady at the desk explained that they are wearing jacket for this reason I will share my experience everywhere and with everyone so that people wont do the mistake I did

A good amount of amenities but the rooms could use a freshening up. They are a bit dated. The interior restaurant is pretty good but the outside snack bar could at least heat up the food before serving it. I ordered a burger with beans and coleslaw. The beans were cold. My buddy ordered a brisket sandwich and the brisket was cold. The staff isn't the most helpful. My other bud had a billing issue where he was double charged for a meal, still working that out....

I would've given it more stars if it weren't for the fact that the jacuzzi and heated pool heaters are constantly breaking down, the tiles by the jacuzzi are broken or coming off and the lifeguards are more concerned with their social media on their cell phones and less concerned with keeping order. They let kids run around like crazy all over the place but I guess that's what you get for hiring irresponsible teenagers.

Luxury rooms you say? That is what I paid for, but I still have not found the luxury. With few, but notable exceptions,
the staff are rude and totally unprofessional. My room was cleaned at 4pm. The layout of the hotel is very strange. You are forced to walk through a pool area in order to access the rooms. A "feature" is the balcony off of the room, only problem is, it's blocked off. Good luck parking. Had brunch at "Kites". The food was subpar and expensive. I cannot convey enough the lack of caring by the staff. Checking in I was felt to be a pain in the neck and all I said was "I'd like to check in please". I had called on 3 separate occasions for specific information. I never reached a person. I had to leave a message, when I told the person that called me back 2 days later, she said "oh really? Well let's check and proceeded to read off the dates. As though I were lying. Even if I were, you don't call a guest out on it.
Never will I return.

Be warned, if you stay overnight here, expect no help or support. Our friends had a wedding at one of their venues and we decided to stay at minerals.

The problems began when we tried to go to bed around midnight. The smoke alarm in the room was beeping, of course this meant the battery was dead, no biggie, an easy call to the front desk will fix it.... after calling the front desk four times, with no answer, I tried every other extension on the phone... no answer. Not a single answer.

I threw on my shoes and walked to the front desk to see a lone woman manning the desk. I approach and ask if there was a problem with the phones because I called every line with no answer. She said "oh, that'll happen. .. I'm the only one here and there were several callers just before". Ok. .. you're on you're own, I understand... Maybe it was bad scheduling. So I continue "Ok, Our smoke alarm is beeping, do you have someone from maintenance, or a spare battery I can use to replace it?"

"oh, no, I don't think I have that"...
"You don't have anyone here for maintenance?"
"No, they all left at 10:30 and will be back at 6am"
"So... no one is here... for anything? This is a big hotel, how can you have no one on staff to help? What if a toilet clogs or something shorts?"
"I can get you security to help"

Before I could stop her she called up security, digs in her drawers and finds a single 9 volt that may or may not work. A place with hundreds of rooms... hundreds of smoke alarms and no spare batteries!?

As I walk to the room with this poor security guard he explains to me that they aren't even staff, that they are retired cops and the only EMS and security are here for support, and that one person at the front desk. I felt bad for the guy, probably gets it a lot.

The battery, luckily, worked.

Everything else with the wedding, reception, was all wonderful, but those are with the other facilities, not this hotel/spa. This places service and support are lacking.

I write this not because the overall time was bad, not at all, I write this because this is obviously poor management. No level headed management would leave a hotel or spa, with that many rooms, without at least one person on maintenance. For a place this large with this much clientele, there is no excuse, this is just cutting corners. I am not mad at the lady at the front desk, or security, they can only work with what they have available, which isn't much unfortunately. This is on management... This is an easy fix... So fix it

I am a sports club member and couldn't be happier. The reason for the 4 stars is the family restroom in the pool area has a leak that has been there for a year now. When you sit on the toilet, it actually drips on your head! That and in the summer, it gets too dirty. They need to clean it more often. It does get very busy so I understand but they should have hourly checks.

Other than that, this is my happy place. I feel like I am on vacation every time I go! The front desk and pool desk employees have been nothing but friendly to me and mine.

Always have a good time here. Great fitness class choices, several pool types (heated and cold), sauna, steam room, spa, gym (enough equipment to keep you busy), various ball courts, a running track and plenty of other hotel amenities like towels, bars, food, and activities like hikes, archery, petting zoo and shows. Lots to do for kids and adults!

Only one restaurant on-site the others you had to take transportation to which required you to call and book half an hour ahead. (not informed until I was there). Food was not very good. Outside pool was closed (on a 90 degree day) and only the indoor pool was open. They said outdoor pool would only be open on weekends after Labor Day, but they don't have this information anywhere prior to booking. Room was very clean, staff was friendly, gym was nice. Overall not worth what I paid.

Had a fantastic couple of hours at Minerals Resort Hotel. We stopped in on our way home after checking out of Grand Cascades Lodge. This was inclusive with our stay at the Lodge.

They have men's and women's locker rooms with free locked lockers, and showers. The pools are amazing; 3 Jaccuzzi pools, an indoor pool with an actual cave you enter through a waterfall, and outside a pool with a cliff jump into a 12 foot drop.

They also have a steam room, sauna and a little underground aquarium. Not to mention an indoor basketball court.

Additional costs you can play indoor tennis and raquet ball.

We had an absolute blast and next time we come up we are definitely staying here.

A Terrible experience my son-in-law got in to bed ...

A Terrible experience my son-in-law got in to bed after a family wedding around 4 am only to fine dirty underwear in his bed. Disgusting. My daughter call the front desk only to be told that there was no manager on duty. Her response bull I lived in a hotel on and off for a year when my Mother was the manager there is always a MOD. Finally a manager got on the phone and after giving her a hard time he finally agree to moved her to another room. After a little more fighting he finally agree to give her a refund
When I found out I went to the desk to speak to the manager only to tell him about my experience which included very little heat and my tub still filled from the night before after my husband had shower.
When I return from the pool area to go and take a shower I could not shower and we had to C/O within the next hour. This manager response if you had call us we would have taken care of it. A first class hotel I do not think so very poor service. When I call to fine out why my credit did not appear on my card his response well it takes 5 to 7 days they take your money immediately but giving back takes over a week I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY

Love the cliff diving and plunge pool in the summer. Great for party. The chlorine level in the indoor pool is too strong. Kayak restaurant is not bad. Younger kids would love the sprinkling play area. Outdoor picnic food is good enough.
Need an update in the indoor pool area.

Horrible hotel. Clueless staff! I stayed with my kids and 2 other families the Dec. 28- Dec. 30, 2017. Took them 4 1/2 hours to check us in! Lobby freezing with no heat whatsoever. Staff informed us the heat is not working. Checked into a room with hair on the wall and no towels . Took the staff till 11pm to deliver the towels and extra bedding for my kids. No one from management apologized even though I left them so many messages. Upon check out, the entire bill was wrong.. it reflected charges from the other 2 families that were with us, even though we used to give the waiters our room numbers so the charges would be posted correctly to each room. Front desk agents clueless and kept asking each other how to adjust the bill! I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone! Never again!

Just enjoyed a couple nights there with 4.5 and 7.5 year olds. Didn't eat at any of restaurants so cannot comment there. Pool area ran out of towels but within 15 minutes of me asking had more (not sure how long they were out before I checked). Apparently this is a daily occurrence over the summer. Didn't love how most of the activities are extra but knew that going in. We all enjoyed the pools, certainly lots of lifeguards around. Loved how next to one hot tub was small pool the kids could play/stand in while grown ups stay in hot tub within arms reach. Would still recommend resort for a night or two, just know that not much is included. Town of Warwick, NY a pretty drive, within 15-20 minutes with some good restaurants.

I called a few days before Labor Day weekend to se...

I called a few days before Labor Day weekend to see if there was availability and the girl said no, but she said we can get Day passes if we spent $115 on spa services. So I booked a great 2 bedroom suite about a half hour away from the resort, the morning we were going to go to the resort, I called customer service just to make sure about the day passes and the women said no it s $115 each adult and no children in the spas.. when I asked her what am I supposed to do about my girls... she got flustered and hung up on me!!! Then I called back... luckily Corinne was more patient, she tried looking at different ways to get me in... and she finally saw an opening at the hotel itself so I jumped on it and took the reservation... so we checked out and drove to the resort... HUGE MISTAKE! We left a 2 bedroom suite (sure the electronics in our current place needed to be upgraded, but the hotel was nice) but the minerals... besides the pools, the place was RIDICULOUS!!! They said we could check in b4 4:00, (we got there at 2) we didn t get our room until 4:45!! THE HOTEL COULDNT FIND ANY LUGGAGE CARTS FOR US, so we had to carry everything, and make the kids come up and down with us to help us carry everything! Then, the pools outside, where the cliff jump is, had to be as cold as the water where the titanic sunk... NO EXAGGERATION! The indoor heated pool, was kinda warm but DEFINITELY NOT HEATED it was so uncomfortable. then my 12 year old girls couldn t go in the jacuzzis EVEN WITH US THERE OR GOING IN WITH THEM! THE ROOM: a couple of the lights didn t work, the tv was small, and we couldn t find an input button for our Firestick, so we called the front desk. They said they ll send maintenance, but within that hour of us waiting, I finally figured out I had to press function and play with it to get a source list! So we cancelled the call bc WERE COURTEOUS! The staff were unwelcoming, unaccomadating, they didn t seem to know anything! We tried to make the best out of it, so we decided to go to The marshmallow roast that they were promoting, it was $8.00 a set, which was a ziplock bag with 5 MARSHMELLOWS, 1 Hershey bar and 3 packets of gram crackers... not only that but when we arrived at the fire pits, 1 of the 2 worked! I told the front desk and they said they d send someone... WHO NEVER CAME! SO WE CHANGED THE PROPANE TANK AND FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET IT WORKING!!! To top it off, when we re leaving again... NO CARTS For two hours... then they finally sent us one after complaining over and over again!! All in all besides the pools, the place was NOT WORTH THE MONEY! I would never go back there!! Thank god we re the type of family that tries to make the best outta where we are... I gave it two stars bc the pools and activities were ok, but after all the inconveniences... I d stay out of the resort and use the amenities and activities... I wouldn t lodge there again!!! I hope the minerals reads these reviews and changes it up so we can all change our minds and go to the resort that is depicted on their website not the one that really stands there!!! When it s improved pls let me kno bc that place has great potential!

I only went here to pick someone up, however, that person said that it's a really nice place. They apparently have a gym and some other nice stuff. When I stopped there briefly you could hear the music playing inside, but I was outside. They seemed to be having some kind of party or something.

Note: My comments are about the sports club, of which I've been a member for 2 years. This place could be good, but a combination of poor management and worse maintenance makes the place rather pathetic at times. The mens' locker room is a disgrace. Most of the lockers can't be locked and are often really dirty. Soap dispensers are not regularly filled, and getting hot water in the showers can be a challenge. There is a good collection of weight equipment and other exercise machines on the floor, but it's crowded and there's only one tiny space for free exercise. Minerals offers a range of group exercise classes, 7 days a week, but a mirrored room where most of them are held is too small for the more popular classes and the room is often filthy: the floor covered with sweat, lint, hair and dust. The air handling for the room is completely inadequate .

Sorry but I will not be going back. The place needs an update. The jacuzzi was not clean i was not impressed with this place. The rooms were so outdated. Please note Minerals resort is a family hotel there is so many kids running around. If you are looking for a place to relax and destress this is not for you. They do have another resort about a mile down the road. Very nice view and if you like golf this may be for you.

Pros:

Pros:
- Nice lobby, rooms and outdoor pool areas.
- Breakfast at Kite s was pretty good. Food was good but not hot. Service was inconsistent.
- Friendly service at the registration desk
- Lots of great golf courses to choose from
- Tiki bar at the pool was friendly and great

Cons:
- None of the high end restaurants at Crystal Springs are open mid-week so we had to go to Warwick, NY (20 mins drive), but Warwick was great!
- The golf courses are jammed with outings every weekday. Very frustrating considering they offer a golf and stay package. We could only get out on Crystal Springs course. All others had outings.
- The outdoor pool at Minerals is freezing (65-70 degrees), even in mid-August! Indoor pool is the opposite: Hot water and almost 100 degrees air temp.
