Minerals Resort & Spa Review

The resort was beautiful and the spa could not have been more luxurious, but I honestly won't go back. What was advertised as a girls weekend and possibly a romantic get away was jam packed with kids! I guess maybe the sister resort is adults only, but I don't think they should advertise adult vacations to a resort that is obviously meant for families. There was no adult only section at all.

The food is great! The servers are very nice and the pools are heated and very relaxing!

Every week something is broken or closed, the place is usually understaffed and the pools are kinda dirty and usually not at the temp they are supposed to be at. Last time I went there was a lukewarm cold plunge, one of the hot tubs was unheated. The indoor pool was closed cause some kid defecated in it. the outdoor pool was closed' and the heated outdoor pool felt like it was 100 degrees or more. The gym was overcrowded and quite smelly, and the water fountain didn't work. Staff just has b.s. excuses and nothing gets fixed. I want to like this place. They need to step up their service and fix their failing equipment especially for the price they want to get for membership.

I brought my girlfriend here for a relaxing experience and it did not go well. The elements spa is horrible. Massages aren t great at all. I ve paid for better massages at a cheaper rate. It s not so much the price but the staff there is very unwelcoming and made us feel as if we couldn t even afford the massages they offer. The receptionist had a very condescending tone. mind you we had a spa package to stay there for 4 nights. Had a massage booked for every night and even planned on extending the stay. This experience overall on the first night was enough to make us pack our stuff and check out early. She was highly disappointed and didn t even get to experience what else the minerals resort has to offer .

It was amazing. Would like to stay for longer next time!

Huyyy a completely ecpetacular place and very good attentions

The hotel has lots to do for families, plenty of outdoor events and the surrounding area has loads to offer as well. The hotel staff are very friendly and are extremely attentive to your needs. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There are plenty of pools indoors and out along with hot tubs cold tubs and stream and sauna rooms plus a full gym and a top rated spa. Would come here again.

It started at check-in, arrived to attend a wedding on Thursday , September 17, 2030, staff member gave me an envelope with key cards in it and told me the room number. Went to the room the card did not work went all the way back around to the front desk they told me it was a different room number went up there the card did not work. During this time I had a friend who could not walk well with me, I went back to the desk and was told computers down and couldn t help me now. I went back to find my friend and she was gone. Mind you the walk from the front desk to the rooms were very far away. I finally found out they put her in a room so she could rest. She was told that would be our room. Again, we were told that we had to move to another room. I spoke to the manager and was told that they would make it up to us. Needless to say my bill did not reflect that. The room was run down and most definitely needed care. I realize that the hotel most likely endured hardships during COVID-19, I just want everyone to know the way we were treated. It was so bad and disrespectful.

Pretty pool. The bar wasn't open by the pool..when it was they either didnt know how to work the register or they were out of the buckets for the bacardi drinks oh n let's not forget the machines didnt work for frozen drinks. Went for a girlfriend's weekend n we were supposed to all get robes...never happened..shall I continue?

Rooms were great. Loves having the shuttle service to other lodge. Hallways were VERY noisy throughout the night. Did not like having to walk through the pool area to get all the rooms.

This place looks like it's out of a movie. Only issue I really had was that it was a bit cold. I understand the sliding doors and all kept opening every now and then, but I was at the far end, away from the door. I think they could have found a way to make sure it could have been a bit warmer.

A beautiful respite right here in Jersey. who knew.

I like it and it's a nice place to hangout with friends like working out or going for a swim but 2 things I don't like are the smoothies at the bar are like 6 bucks which is pricy for a smoothie the size they have and at the restaurant a small bowl of mac and cheese is like 12 bucks... with a side of mashed potatoes which is another 12 bucks so... 24 bucks for a small mac and cheese and a side of mashed potatoes like bruh... OTHERWISE this place is pretty fun to go and I would recommend this place for having fun.

Old and decrepit. Reminds one of the 1970 s. Needs to be torn down, redone. Gym is cramped, uncomfortable an afterthought really. Locker rooms dirty and outdated. Racquetball/basketball courts are a mess. Roof leaks, floors warped. Finally staff is disinterested and unprofessional. Not sure how they stay in business.

I was here for an outdoor wedding. The ambience was great, the staff were friendly and effective. The food was slightly better than mediocre.

Beautiful scenery very clean. Service is great. Drinks are fare prices and plenty to do around the area. Definitely go to the bar/club in Saturday's it's was a blast

Beautiful ski resort and spa the perfect getaway with a spectacular view of the mountains

The service is great. There an in indoor basketball court, gym, pool, locker room/shower, jacuzzi, steam room, i indoor heated pool sauna and parking.

Nice little place on the side of a mountain creek ski resort. The place we stayed was at the top and was considered a step above the basic. The inside of the (condo/room) was kept nice 2 bedroom , 1 main (king) lvl and 1 loft 2(twins) and a living area ( 2 cushioned chairs and a sofa bed) plus kitchen. The pkace has a secured entrance and when you purchase slope ticket in advance you can literally jump right on the mountain from the parking lot!!! Real cool!!!. we have a time share so we stay in many places town homes , condos ect.. around ski resorts. Overall a great vacation!
However I was suprised to see alot of dog feces all over on the grass, some of these units it seems have permanent residents. It took me only 5 minutes from arrival to step in some while taking a short cut from my car to the room with the luggage, as i look around i saw about 10 piles between my car and the unit. The place provides high speed data however it went out completely for about 1 1/2 out of 4 days we were their. Tvs are around 32in in every bedriom ajd the living area
The room lacks a few basic things im used to with a typical time share such as salt and pepper, dish detergent but offered most others. Overall 7/10

We decided to come here for our anniversary and my bday. This place is very family friendly with many activities that are on a schedule. The customer service was fantastic and the atmosphere is relaxing. All the pools were open during our stay and we have no complaints. Thank you for the stay and experience. Shout to out Blake for his kind sweet hearted customer service!

My aunt is a member at the pool at this hotel. It's very nice, but the staff are rude. One time my bros & i were playing with the noodles, and a lifeguard took them for classes for old people. Also, once, my bros & i were on the walkway on the gym, and someone told us unless you're 18 or older, you should have an adult with you. I reccomend Grand Cascades, about a mile up the road, unless you want to be pushed around. My aunt's membership ends in August, and she's joining another pool.

Thurs is an average resort. The condos have an excessive amount of stairs, so if you have any disabilities it is difficult to get to and from.

Overpriced for accommodations provided and offsite dining options for non-condo rooms are at a minimum. Staffing and lifeguard shortage forced the closing of half the pools on a Busy Friday in July. Room accommodation was fine but surprised not a single other review claimed extremely firm (ie. rock) mattress. Had a laugh with my daughter when she stated the same thoughts. Lots of options for young family with Pool and exercise (indoor basketball / tennis / racquetball) areas but I thought only saving grace was proximity to some of the best golf courses in NJ.

Lately many of the amenities have been closed to not working properly.. very disappointing

Room wasn't that coffee ducked due to dirty pot heat has no auto fan running all nite hard to sleep

We have been coming here for 4 years now. It s a great family friendly place. Kids having lots of fun with indoor and out door pool. They also have lot of activities like archery tag, basketball court, tennis court and much more. Indoor pool could be little warmer as specially winter time. It s out thanks giving getaway place. Highly recommended.

Sushi California and Softshell Crab rolls are excellent. One roll enough for one person, recommend sharing

My husband and I stayed at Minerals for our 10th Anniversary. We were supposed to go to NYC, but it was supposed to be 97 degrees, so we quickly changed plans. The woman we made reservations with on the phone was very accommodating and friendly. We were very excited for our stay. I was less than impressed with our King Suite, it was lacking amenities and was shabby. Our balcony was blocked off for "renovation"....funny it was sold to us as being a feature of the room three days before. We went to the pool...pretty but somewhat cheap and dirty...the plastic chairs looked old and there was a sludge floating on the top of the pool. The drinks were strong, but expensive. When it finally came time for our shuttled trip from Minerals to Cascades, we realized it was in a maroon painted school bus...yes, a school bus. No air conditioning and super bummpy. Don't get me started on our meal at The Tavern...I'll save that for their review. Ummmm....am I missing something here? I have had a much better experience at less expensive resorts. I would suggest spending the extra money for Cascades or changing plans. Just lIke my dinner left a bad taste in my mouth, so did Minerals.

Nice rooms and pools. Activities are a bi lacking in the time we went, November. Overall nice get away from hustle and bustle of weekday life, and close enough.

I really like the gym, it can get crowded but you'll get that at any gym during peek hours.

Way overpriced! I had trouble with the door of our room and even when I pointed it out to staff it was not fixed. It only locked with a lot jiggling the doorknob. It was also a bit problematic to have to walk through a humid sauna in between the lobby and the rooms. I couldn't keep my hair unfrizzy and I was on my way to an event! Breakfast was not good and the orange juice was basically fermented. Pool is nice though, and the staff were courteous. Room was clean and towels well stocked.

I loved the mineral resort, great customer service from front desk, tracey and breakfast, James, all other staff were great, didnt get their names, now Shanon at breakfast needs to humble herself, 1st time guest are not familiar with the resort. I think during COVID-19 you guys did awesome. Everything clean, food takes a little while but delicious.

I've been a member for a very long time. And for the most part I love the place. But the ladies locker room smells horrible lately the hot tubes have not worked right the last few months. And now you can't enjoy the whole outdoor pool there is a divider at a strange angle and they close that small amount of pool often. Not sure I want to renew next year.

Shows signs of age. Pool was dirty and during our stay a boiler broke, so the lodge was uncomfortably cold. Place is seriously overdue for an uplift. On as positive note, the staff is great.

Great resort for kids and family s to have fun. Very nice pools and a nice tennis and basketball courts. I m giving it 4 cause the food is not so good but there are plenty of restaurants down the road no problem. I recommend it.

What a place...They are doing everything possible to make sure things go smoothly during your workout. Strong positivity from the instructors makes wearing a mask more tolerable. Here's hoping for the future.

Love it! So much to do! Definitely family friendly! The pools are so cool and relaxing!

My husband, 10 month old, and I visited here this week. I really wanted to like it but unfortunately for the price I can t say I was too thrilled with the experience. For three nights the price was about $1k. We really enjoyed the pool!! However, there were spider webs on the walls of our room , there currently no daily house keeping which I understand for health reasons- but I also don t think that they should ve been there. We actually only stood 2 days (we left early), and in those two nights we literally barely slept. The beds were so dense that we had such a hard time staying asleep! Lastly, the food is very costly for small portions. We unfortunately do not recommend.

Edit: also important to know- when it is raining, the pools are shut down. So if you decide to visit, make sure there s going to be good weather. We were under the impression that there was an indoor pool, but it is connected to the outdoor pool and therefore gets closed with rain and thunder outside.

The employees were very helpful and respectful. They have many fun activities and I intend on going back in Summer. The only thing is there was a long wait for oir room to be ready when we arrived.

Good location, lots of surrounding activity & fairly priced. Good for small getaways from the hustle.

The pool area is beutyful, but need Clean better the rooms when you go the timeshare

Customer service is bad....place has nothing to do but pool...hotel needs major updates

I'm actually changing this rating because my husband has a membership to use the hot tubs for therapeutic purposes, especially in the winter. The hot tubs and pools have been closed for over a week and while the spa has offered to give us a discount, I have yet to see one, yet they are paid faithfully by us each month. We are upholding our end of the contract...why can Minerals do the same?

Gave family members room away after paying and checking in late. Fans in the suite and adjoining room did not work. One of the hair dryers blew up. More family got stuck in one of the elevators.

Unfriendly front desk staff. Limited dining options.

P.S.: You can start fixing things by addressing your customers by their correct names.

Nice pools. Good vibe. Views of the old Playboy hotel. They have day care.

I feel like this place should be 24 hours. Olny because their are people that work all different shifts. And would sure like to use the gym or spa.

This place is really nice! The view is breathtaking, the pool are so amazing! The food are great and the rooms are clean! HOWEVER, most employees here are RACIST to the fullest! They are not very attentive when it comes to us! Let's start with the front desk. We felt that we weren't welcome enough that she did not explain anything about things that we can do here, even after the fact that my husband told her that this was our first time here! But when the next client behind us, who is caucasian, the employee was very happy and thoroughly explain them the events. Secondly, the Biosphere employees are not better neither. The employees that sells snacks and Gelato are racist as well. We were treated differently compare to others! Even the shuttle's driver, specifically the woman driver, at first she gave us the worst attitude! At the minerals pool, forget it! At the Tiki Bar, the bartender there is no different. These experiences, I thought that it was just me, and did not want to say anything at first because I don't want to ruin my family's vacation. But now that I found my husband had these issues. I don't understand why we were treated this way? We paid the same money as everyone one else. The treatment has to change! I know this is our first time here, and this will be our LAST time as well!!. Racism should not be tolerated in any cause! I hope the management should train your employees to treat people equally!! Unless the management are the same! disappointed customer here!!! I will be telling the rest of my family and friends about my experienced here, to prevent them from experiencing the same thing!

Outside pools was not heated, indoor pool was heated. Food service was bad. Circus events were excellent.

Relaxing and enjoyable to sit by the pool, get a drink and have absolutely beautiful views. Some recommendations to make this a better resort and destination would be to have salt water pools instead of the constant chlorine, also more fresh and healthy food options.

Probably one of my worst experiences at a resort. My church at a Women's retreat at this establishment and basic things were not available. The first night they ran out of wash clothes and towels (crazy right) so most of our guest had to use the hand towels that were in the room. The second night they served out guest raw salmon and placed the towels on the table outside our workshop space. It was just all bad. Th beds felt like sleeping on the floor. I will never go here again.

Just stayed for two nights. The place needs new environmental services (cleaning staff) and new wait staff. The rooms were not properly cleaned; staff left dirty washcloths in tub, didn t replace dirty hand towel, coffee cups or glassware, left ice bucket full of water and didn t replace toiletries or coffee supply. The wait staff at Kites for breakfast thought she was too good for waiting tables and made every request seem like a burden. And, the manager, seems too busy to respond to guest complaints since I still haven t received a call back. Find another place to stay if you can. Rooms are sadly in need of a fresh paint job and are definitely not sanitary.

love the place and all the amenities are great but the workers by the pool and desk area are beyond rude and despite the amazing place they make me not want to come back.

Tons of amenities but you have to check out by 11am or pay an additional $50. Stupidest thing I've ever heard of and I'm surprised they don't charge for toilet paper

Overpriced...Regular maintenance needs improvement...nice pool area...some staff need to improve people skills...brunch should be included for what you pay for a room!!

This is a two star hotel. Not sure how folks are giving this place 5 stars. Service is maximum 3 stars. Left early...

Can't wait to try the indoir and outdoor pools this winter at Mineral Springs Resort and Spa
