It's a great atmosphere, with great people. It's definitely worth checking out.

It okay the people were nice the service that I had was extremely nice in the massage therapist that i hadwas wonderful I had the detoxifying lemon and toning treatment the hotel room unfortunately wasn't the cleanest the bathroom wasn't clean properly what I go back again I think about it but I'm not sure

Really bad service and high price. No slippers, toothbrush/toothpaste. We had honeymoon suite not there was nothing special. Not even a bottle water or champagne. Was very disappointed.

I have been to the resort several times years ago and I had a pleasurable experience so I decided to book the resort for my sons 4th birthday trip. We ended up checking out a day early completely ruining his birthday but the lack of cleanliness made us so unsure about continuing to stay there. Especially during this time of the pandemic I expected a top level of cleanliness and a feeling like the resort was thoroughly deep cleaned before guests were allowed back. I took several photos of what I encountered to show guest services but the dead Smashed dragon flies on the floor we re the state that broke the camels back in our decision to Cut our trip short.

Great hotel for one or two nights just to get away.

Great spa, amazing water, pretty great views, nice pools.

The only knock is that they rooms are a bit hard to find at first, and they don t have water bottles in the room.

Bought various spa treatments and a stay at the resort as bday gift for my wife. She loved it! She said staff was friendly & amazing. She really enjoyed the therapeutic massage and thought the pedicure & manicure with gel treatment was great. Very happy with the services!

Went there for a week in January. Stayed in one of the condos. Very rustic. The best thing was the outdoor swimming pool. It was crazy swimming while it was snowing.

I was supposed to have my wedding reception here at the end of July INDOORS for 130 people. Since May, this venue has offered us 0 alternatives; they simply want to take our money and hope we disappear. They do not respond to us or our lawyer even though they cannot fulfill their end of the contract. They won t discuss alternate ways to use the funds rendered. I am SO disappointed by my experience here and truly do not condone businesses that take advantage of people especially during times of crisis. Why should they be able to take $12,000 of ours???

These people here are clueless. I've had better experiences and service at a Holiday inn. I can't wait to get out of this place.

Beautiful resort but the service needs huge improvement.

Took several hours after I was suppose to be checked in before they could give me a room. I had to wait and I was late to my event. They left my luggage out after they said they would lock it up would never come here again

Too expensive, doesn't even include continental breakfast...I personally don't recommend this place, its not worth it

We always have fun here. Our two small ones love the outdoor heated pool in the winter.

The pools are big, the rooms are clean, but you do have to venture out to eat.

Decent place. Grounds are nice, plenty of activities, lots of pools. Outdoor pool wasn t heated, indoor pool gave me headache from all of the chlorine (very strong smell). Steam room and sauna were nice. Enjoyed the indoor basketball court. Everyone enjoyed s mores at night by the fire pits. Rooms were ok.

Beautiful grounds.. Plenty of quiet space to relax and many activities for active people. Gym is very nice and offers many classes for all fitness levels.. All included with your stay.

The resort looked really nice there where a couple of problems that I had was the staff. When I went up there for Thanksgiving they was giving my family such a hard time about parking up there. I understand security reasons bit come on it is Thanksgiving. Another problem was a woman thats lives below the room my family rented out, her extremely aggressive brown demon dog on an outside leash bit me and bruised my leg as I was walking down the stairs. I dont think they clean the pool floor because people were walking around with outside shoes on and people had their sneakers on in the sauna. I really did want to have a good time here.

Love this place just wish guest passes were not $35 a day, or they would provide a better deal for guests.

The food is great and the team of employees are so warm and sweet

I just checked in and we got a room that was not what we expected. When we tried to upgrade the manager Brian lies and tells us that the bad room we got is the only one left
Finally a friendly lady at the front desk assisted us... there were other rooms
The hotel needs to be cleaner it got dirty over years must be maintained

Many flies and bugs around need to be taken care of

Broken down rooms that have not been updated in years and barely cleaned. It is a theme for the whole place. Additionally , they are stuck in the 1990's.

Was very disappointed. Rooms were in bad shape but the manager Vinny was very understanding and accommodating. The place needs a lot work.

This vicinity has a little bit of everything. The only thing is missing is a beach lolz.
Regardless, it s my favorite mostly in the summer time due to the outdoor pools and the activities they hold along with the outdoor bar.

Breathtakingly beautiful, my son had decided to have his wedding there. Why more people don't have their wedding there is their loss.

Save your money. The hot pool is no longer hot. We were freezing outside with the wind while cold water was being let out. The lockers inside the men s locker room are mostly broken , the fish tank next to the pool is no more. The raquetball area has water damage. The basketball hoop is bent. Things need to be replaced but they still charge the same prices.

Love that place. Stayed there multiple times and always felt like I got my every penny worth it. Extremely polite staff. Beautiful pools complex with outside heated pool. Clean rooms although furniture looks old. Excellent food at "Kites". Spa is a real jewel of this place. Close to everything and shuttle service to everywhere.

Half of the lockers don't work, always bad smells near the juice bar.

The pools were great. There were problems with the rooms placement and plumbing issues.

Call the front desk to ask if they had a microwave somewhere in the hotel to heat a meal and tell me there is not, as it is possible that such a large place does not have a microwave

Had a really nice stay! Kids loved swimming in all the different pool areas, and thought the nightly activities such as movie nights and marshmallow roasting were a great touch! My only wish is that the staff was friendlier and that there were cameras in the lot cause someone hit our car and was able to drive away with us inside swimming.

I just finished working here as a bellman for the summer. Minerals is a great resort facility, and all the staff I worked with are very friendly and a pleasure to work with. I came away with lots of great experiences with guests throughout my two months here as well.

Place is great for the pools spa lots to do! But don't eat there over priced and very poor quality! Plenty of good restaurants close by that are excellent.

I used to absolutely love this place, but after the last 2-3 years (member for the last 7 years) and I attended throughout the year, I continue to be disappointed with a few things. I froze my account for a period of time, and then once reinstated, I still never went because I was so turned off to the following:
1) The pool is just plain dirty. Both the heated outdoor pool and the main outdoor pool. They don't maintain it daily with being sure there is no garbage sitting at the bottom. Large pieces of garbage and *very gross things floating on the top. I brought a guest once and it embarrassed me. This dirty pool is ongoing. This was not just one time. It is now the norm.
(was not like this 2-3 yrs ago, it was always clean and amazing before)
2) They so frequently are short on lifeguards or maybe they just don't want to hire the right amount. So, often, they close certain outdoor areas of the pool claiming its because they don't have a lifeguard. Its disappointing to me and the kids.
3) It is now very rare that the outdoor cave (which I used to find so fun, and looked forward to it) is ever open.
4) The large indoor pool is nice. But the jacuzzis, several of them, despite the signs and the age limit, very small children frequent them; such a turn-off. Should I really have to ask a lifeguard to address this? I don't want to feel like monster ruining these kids fun, but parents! Have some class, responsibility and consideration!
5) small kids go IN/out, IN/out, and IN/out of the sauna and the sauna is not hot enough. Another real bummer. Again here I want to say, Parents! Are you that lazy that when you vacation you also vacation from parenting?! Here again, the LIFEGUARDS really should be stepping in, and Minerals should be running a tighter ship to keep the quality of fun in check for everyone.
6) Gym: the elliptical is one of my fav machines, but some of them stay broken and slow to be repaired.
7) Yoga classes, other gyms have classes on Sat and Sun @ 11 am and even early afternoon. The only yoga class they offer on weekends is one one on Sat @ 9:15 am (crowded) and one on Sunday 8am (not crowded, but way too early for a Sunday) and least add another class!
8) Locker rooms used to be so beautiful. Then they "updated" the locker room and strangely corrected the wrong things. The lockers get stuck, locks were never corrected. Minerals had no problem repainting the walls to a darker color and changing the classy wooden bar height chairs to cheap looking chairs. And showers used to be sooooo clean, did they reduce maintenance?? So gross now. Really. They added a bathing suit wringing machine, nice but big deal. Strange "improvements". Cleanliness should be above all.
It actually seems like they traded out the good for bad.
I gave it time, I think last summer was the 3ird year of downhill.

I hope this helps those that find issues like this mattering to them to and appreciate knowing before deciding. I always appreciate insightful reviews and have benefited from others so here is my payback to help others make the best decision for themselves.

I will say that the Crystal Springs pools as the Grand Cascades is truly a beautiful and classy place. Couples----spend the extra money and GO THERE.

I also hope the resort cares enough to to look into making a difference in the issues above. I would reconsider returning should they place rebound in the next year or two.

Bad came back to room no clean towels room was not clean this is last I come here after May golf groups come here 3 of 5 years

Very good spa. Beautiful landscapes. I loved the home lit decorated for Christmas. Very quality people in general.

5 pools including 2 hot tubs ,1 cold plunge. Could be cleaner and more plants inside!

We had such a great time. Family oriented place. The pool was incredible and they have alot of activities for kids.

Amazing place to stay! Worth the money. The rooms are very nice and clean and the view is great. Will be planning to go again

This is a pretty great place! The only thing that stops me giving it five stars is that in the boys locker room, some of the lockers are broken. But other than that, it's a great place!

Nice place but something is seriously lacking with repairs. Sauna is either burning hot to the point your skin eyes and lungs hurt or its not hot at all. Mens lockers are messed up, bathing suit spinner broken, and numerous other small misc items are broken frequently. Most of the same items keep breaking because they aren't fixed right just fixed for the week. The staff is amazing. The facility is beautiful. Frank the bar tender, the membership staff esp Taryn, and Greg B are simply the best around and will make any experience here amazing. However for a gym membership, if your not foot steps away, I'd goto the Y, better day care rates and quality, cleaner and better maintained fitness and sauna pool facility. Enough of the gym membership posting maybe a Movahill will get it that something is seriously wrong here, I saw others posting the same stuff.

Had a good visit in my room but the place had alot of events and the people in those events can not act like proper people. Next time I know to stay on the other side of the hotel away from the main area

Very bad experience, you can hear talking, Coughing sound, walking.........any sound. Sound insulation is very bad feels like you sleep in the garage.

If you need an extra blanket good luck, if something in your room is broken good luck. This place is so bad I'm planning to dispute the credit card charge. The staff is useless and clueless.

Sadly, our room was not the five-star lodging you would expect for the price. Broken lamp, no microwave or refrigerator, even though the comparable room across the hall had a microwave. Paint chipping in spots. We reserved the room for three people, and it was only equipped for two (towels, coffee supplies, etc.) The staff in general at the hotel and Kites, the hotel restaurant, did not go out of their way to be helpful when we had a small request. We had taken a hotel shuttle to another site for an activity, and when we called for it to pick us up, they said they'd be there in 25 minutes. The shuttle finally came after 50 minutes!! No apology or explanation. The spa employees, however, were outstanding -- very professional and friendly.

The owner responded to this review, and I'd like to address her comments. The room that I referred to that had the microwave was my daughter's room, and there was no additional cost to her room for the presence of the microwave. We had no idea that rooms were individually owned, and I'm fairly sure most people booking rooms don't have that information either. The hotel shuttle that I referred to was not held up by traffic. There was no traffic on that particular day at that time, and when we called the hotel after waiting 40 minutes, we were told that the shuttle had not even left yet.

Minerals Spa offered outstanding customer service and I will make sure to come back and visit their facilities again! Thank you!

Just ordered a Coors light draft by poolside. Beer was barely cool, very cloudy and didn't taste like Coors light. Just poured it out. Not ordering another drink here. Figured beer was pretty hard to mess up. I was wrong.

There were ants in our room especially the bathroom. We called and no one ever came. No refrigerator in room had to call for one as needed it for medication. The chlorine in the pool was so high it bleached our suits.

Been going here for awhile, it s a great place. They just put to much Chlorine in the pools.

Beautiful rooms! Phenomenal staff! Suggest avoiding rooms in the low 400's as they are right down from the pool and ball room. Lots of traffic.

Favorite resort to visit in NJ. Have never been disappointed when visiting. They are very family friendly. They always have great activities for everyone. Kids really love being able to swim outside in the middle of the winter in the heated pool. Food on site is great but be ready to spend a few dollars.

The whole place is very dated. It needs to be updated and refreshed.

We went there for the buffet breakfast. It was delicious and the servers got our drinks. Super friendly staff.

Horrible experience since the father died the kids ran it into the ground they keep hiring young kids that don't know what they're doing incompetent it's not upscales like it used to be several years ago I actually live there could be 4 years back and it was amazing clean ran professional they took care of you treated you right it's extremely expensive to stay there so you should get what you pay for and be treated like royalty I recently stayed there as you could see and it was a horrible experience place was dirty it was ran extremely unprofessional anything that can go wrong was stayed there for a week it was over for Grands wasn't worth the money not talkin about the mineral spa speaking of the Cascade one with the golf course from the food was horrible room service something was stolen from me extremely disappointed will never go back

The music wasn't too good lot of Hispanic music, the drinks are good, the crowd during the winter isn't that great, in the summer it gets better and more attractive. I go there cuz it's the only place around here.

Took a GREAT Aqua aerobic class with instructor Julie tonight. What a good overall workout. I feel really good after this class.

2019 just renewed my membership after a long medical break. Wish I hadn't. The locker room is a mess. Most lockers are broken and even though I witnessed the bathroom being cleaned, the place smelled so fowl.

The cardio and nautlius equipment are all discusting dirty and smell. The wipes containers to wipe down equipment before use seem to always be empty.

In a word, YUCK

The pools were a nice temperature, relaxing. Nice jacuzzis, sauna, steam room, the suite was wonderful, the food was very good, the service was good. Loved it!!

This resort is clean, quiet and relaxing. However... Its not an inclusive package. Even though the food is great, its over priced. Looking at the website was a bit deceiving because the rooms seemed larger than what they really were. Not the greatest place to take teenagers.

The 2nd time we had our annual retreat here. Food is great, atmosphere was awesome. We had a great time at this place. I would definitely go back again

Love this place! Lots to do all year round, the kids love it and during the warmer months it's the perfect spot if you live far from a beach.
