The Biltmore is a historical hotel in downtown LA, built in 1923. It's extremely well maintained, it was fun to explore and use the old fashioned workout equipment. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. They host many different events, have a number of restaurants and cafes as well as host tea parties on the weekends for an additional charge. It is located right across from Pershing square Park and within walking distance of almost anything you could think of. The hotel is also featured in many, many movies and TV shows, ask the front desk for a list and they'll give you a 5 page, front and back copy. Definitely an awesome hotel experience!

Very disappointed in the customer service I've received from the staff at this hotel. Before I even booked my room I called to ask about their policy and procedures during COVID19 and the only answer I got was that SOME amenities were closed. I recieved no information on what the cleaning policies were. I decided to go ahead and book the room through Expedia. I then phoned them the day before check in to inquire about early check in. The woman on the phone told me I would have to call the day of and ask. I then called the hotel again very early the next day and was told to call again when my flight arrived in LA. I gave up on trying to check in early. When I finally did check in today I was greeted by an unenthusiastic employee. I was not given any information on what amenities were currently closed or what to expect from my stay. When I got into my room I decided I wanted to order room service and gave the front desk a call. The man who answered sounded irritated and I was told that this amenity was closed and he abruptly hung the phone up and offered no help. Frustrated and hungry I ordered Uber eats and asked that my delivery driver drop my food at my room. As I waited to receive my order the front desk rang me and told me I could come pick my food up from them. They had stopped my delivery driver from delivering it. By this point I'm beyond frustrated and tell the man on the phone that I cant come down because I'm already dressed for bed. He tells me that they are understaffed and that no one can bring it. And I tell him that I specifically ordered it to my room. He then says he'll see what he can do and hangs up. If the hotel has a policy to not allow delivery to rooms that needs to be told to the guests. There should also be information easily available as to what amenities are open and how they plan to keep the hotel clean during this time. I still have 1 more night here and I'm dreading dealing with these people. No one seems to know what's going on or how to interact with the guests.

Absolutely, the worst experience. While booking rooms at the Biltmore was exciting knowing that it would be a centerpiece experience for our wedding weekend, it actually turned out to be the worse aspect of the wedding. My fiance and I booked rooms (his and hers) several months in advance of our wedding day. During the reservation process, we expressed that we would be having our ceremony and reception outside of the hotel venue but that we wanted to take professional photos onsite at the hotel. We proceeded with our reservations as the representative expressed that it was possible as all we needed was a photography permit. About three weeks before the big day, I went on site to get better understanding of the layout. Again, I expressed to the wedding services director and other reps that I booked rooms for the wedding weekend and was even given a tour of the rooms. This day, I once again shared the intent of having professional wedding photos taken on site. After explaining the arrangements to the rep, they suggested that I upgrade rooms (which I did later that day) so that our wedding party would fit comfortably. The rep also confirmed that all we needed was a permit to take photos on site. I called the Biltmore to obtain a permit. About two weeks before the wedding, I received a call from the director of wedding services who was outraged that we were trying to get a permit. Despite the fact that I previously expressed why I booked my rooms there, she refused to issue us a permit stating that another wedding was taking place that day and that they could only have one bride on site. With 2 weeks before the wedding, they refused to help us out, despite the fact that we were communicated the wrong information on several occasions. And now, about a week after the wedding, we are yet to receive refund. Fortunately, the Langham Huntington in Pasadena saved our wedding weekend as they offered us amazing suites and even issued a photography permit free of cost.

It has a good old American feel and is often used in film shooting.
However, unfortunately, the building and the interior are old, including the service.
I think it would be good if you go to see it by sightseeing,
There was a pillar on the narrow top of the room I stayed, and I thought that I stayed for 3 nights at the last moment of going through there.
WiFi in the room was charged.
The station and the bus stop are near, and walking distance to the department stores Macys, drug stores, supermarkets, staples center, convention center and LA LIVE, the location is not bad. However, in areas where Hispanics stand out when you shift slightly, you feel a little uneasy about security.
It depends on the charge, but I think it is better to choose a large hotel chain in the neighborhood.
Well, I don't think there is anything to choose next.

Close to Angels Flight is this beautiful hotel. Do not miss the ceiling of the room near the elevators with times a wooden ceiling. There is a small bar inside which is very convenient for breakfast at reasonable prices. We advise against hiking after dinner

Lobby is beautiful, rooms have not been renovated in decades. Tub was slow, leaving 8 inches of standing water in the tub to shower in, from a low height shower head. Only given two towels, no washcloths. Room smelled musty. I would hang out here again, but avoid the rooms if you want modern amenities.

Rude unhelpful staff that act annoyed if you ask for help. I had a stressful emergency, im from out of town and lost my phone and front desk didn't tell me I could use their phone in the lobby and not get charged. So I made phone calls in my room and got charged and additional $100. Hotel smelled like cigarettes and Weed, rooms are old outdated and overpriced for what you pay for. They charge you extra fees that arent listed prior to booking. Overall this place is just very underwhelming and a waste of money :/

I had a very comfortable stay there. The rooms are beautiful and mine had a very lovely view of downtown LA too! And since it's in downtown LA, there are several options to choose from when deciding a place to eat. The hotel staff is very helpful and ensures you have a good stay there.

(I have to say of all the hotels I've stayed at the Millennium Biltmore is the only proactive hotel I've been at. Maintenance fixed slow flowing drains sink next day / tub 1.5 days from the time they slowed, I guess housekeeping actually reports issues so they get fixed.)

Nice historic hotel. My room is pretty large for an older hotel. The shower leaves a little bit to de desired. Only real complaint I have. No real outlets near the bed makes charging the phone overnight a little hard. Hotel has had several events over the weekend balls and wedding party's there even a film crew setting up today. Whole foods, a couple pharmacies, and 2 star bucks on the the corner.

For an historic hotel in the middle of a pandemic our stay more than met our expectations. The bathroom and some areas of the hotel are showing their age and could use some restoration/renovation, but this historic hotel is beautiful and staff is doing a great job of keeping guests safe and socially distanced.

What a BEAUTIFUL place! The lobby, hallways, and lounge are exquisite. Service could not be better, and the lounge has an excellent selection of scotches. You really feel like royalty staying here. Rooms are vintage and have their own charm to them. Perfect for a weeklong stay in downtown LA.

Clean, spacious and very large hotel. Common areas of great architectural impact. Rooms provided with the necessary. Central hotel but not beautiful neighborhood. Close to the metro, Starbucks and numerous fast foods.

The interior of the lobby is luxurious and gorgeous, with a feeling of the age, but the guest rooms are quite noisy on the 8th floor and the air conditioning is noisy. Two quint-sized beds for two family members and two bath towels. I won't come for a towel. Feeling that I finally call after the third and a half sharp. I knock on the room at midnight. Weird hotel. For me it's an old, weird hotel just gorgeous. I never recommend it.

What a nice place to stay! I was so happy that I got the chance to stay at your hotel for three days. I really like the place because it was so elegant and relaxing. I can say that it was designed by one of the best designers. I didn't regret my decision to choose your hotel. Bravo to all of you! Highly recommended!

Came here for a business meeting in the ballroom. The staff was great, parking a breeze, food was wonderful. But the hotel was just great to explore. We went through the different ball rooms and there are pictures on the walls of the old academy awards shows.

This hotel is architecturally stunning. The Rendezvous Room was beautiful. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room rate was very reasonable. They gave me a voucher for breakfast when I checked in and the food was very good. My only issue was that the floor in my room was not as clean as I would have liked (I found an artificial nail by the nightstand and someone else's bobby pins on the ground) and the sheets were stained in a few spots with what really looked like blood? The sheets were laundered, the stain just hadn't come out. But it was nothing I couldn't handle. The room was very spacious and elegant. Several movies have been filmed here and as I was checking out, a film crew was setting up their equipment which was cool!

The concierge was terrible. She gave the worst advice and was super snotty. Otherwise, the janitorial staff was great. They were all hard working and did their most to make the stay comfortable. Not worth the price.

The hotel is beautiful. I was attending a whisky event held in the crystal room. Which was quite packed considering how big it is. Very nice architecture and interior design. I would love to grab a drink here and visit the rooms.

From the outside it looks beautiful, but inside you can see that over the years it has not enjoyed great maintenance. For example: wooden windows and shutters now precarious and half broken, bathroom with old and rusty bathroom fixtures.

The hotel is beautiful on the inside and it's in a very convenient location downtown. However, I didn't like being charged extras fee for things I didn't have access to. Not to mention the computers were down and the room didn't look anything like the one online. For the price, I expected much better.

I am currently still here, and from the beginning, it has been horrible. I never got an email telling me check in was at 3 , and when I was finally able to check they tried to add 200 deposit (also not told to me piror). But on top of that the bellhops lost our luggage that had all my friends medications. Worst hotel stay ever

This place is so cool. Opened in 1923. The pool is beautiful. Has the stairwell right in the hallway. Pictures in the History area show all the events that were held here (Academy Awards, etc). It s been in tons of movies and music awards.

First. Great location. Had to stay here for work, which is around the Sawtelle/Olympic area. There just aren't many good options in that immediate area, and this place is just about a 10 minute Uber ride away. Also, was able to find free overnight AND all day street parking just outside on the main street.

I stayed for 3 days this past weekend and to my surprise, the hotel was very nice. My room was nice and clean with 2 Queen size beds. The breakfast is pretty neat, for all tastes, they have fruits, hotcakes, hot chocolates, and coffees. The staves were very accommodating and friendly. For me this hotel a 5-star.

This hotel has a fantastic lobby. Which is fine if you want to sleep in a museum. The rooms were shabby. The furniture was scratched and very dirty. There was a decent flat screen TV. Priceline called this a four star hotel. I travel a lot and this is not a 4 star. I would rate it at 2.5 to 3 maximum. If you aren't too picky and can get a rate under 90.00, and need to be downtown them it might be tolerable. Don't forget about $40 parking.

While the rooms were a little smaller than I'm used to, it was well laid out and housekeeping was very prompt and thorough. It's also a very beautiful hotel, and I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed while working on a note in Downtown LA. The hotel is a work of art in itself. The old design spreads history through the walls. The rooms are fine, but the show takes the architecture of an impressive place.

Wonderful lobby into the hotel the architecture is amazing. All workers were very nice and helpful. Since the hotel is trying to keep the original build its not the most up to date hotel with technology.
