Great hotel! Nice bartenders. Drinks are pricey, cocktail food wasn't great, but overall good experience
Great hotel! Nice bartenders. Drinks are pricey, cocktail food wasn't great, but overall good experience
Nice but old. Sometimes old in a great way. Sometimes bad.
Beautiful hotel with absolutely fantastic staff. Carpets need a cleaning as the drapes in my room are torn.
Clean rooms, nicely remodeled. Good service. Location is not great with kids.
Went to the SHPE Founders Legacy Banquet which was hosted in the Gold Room. The venue was perfect, the food was delicious. And the staff were very accommodating
The Bitlmore is catering to a group that invited Jeff Sessions to come and speak. The same Jeff Sessions that is separating children from their parents. i will not spend my money at the Biltmore nor will i just it to family and friends when they come into town. i am calling for a boycott of the Biltmore for having a hate monger there to speak!
Unhelpful bellhops that ended up breaking some luggage, incompentant finacial staff that charged us for our room twice then added another charge before reimbursement was even attempted, and noticeably dislike shown towards guests. Never staying here again.
Its a beautiful hotel. Very 1920's feel to it. The place was classy and old world style. But the parking ugh .Horrible .And you are charged $50 for the privilege of parking in a safe place. Downtown L.A. isnt the best place to stay. But the Biltmore Hotel is definitely a bright spot in an otherwise dreary downtown.
Room super clean! Bedroom comfortable. Service outstanding
The Golden room was amazing. The perfect size for a medium sized wedding. You can see the history of the place throughout the hotel. From the lobby to the hallway there's ornate detail in every inch of that place.
For dinner we had the filet mignon. It was a generous size of good quality meat.
The bartender was quick and jovial.
Gorgeous, historic accommodation in the heart of downtown LA. Walking distance to the Staples center. The property is surrounded by excellent food options and plenty in walking distance. The on-site banquet halls are absolutely astonishing and worth a peep even if you aren't there for an event.
Amazing building with impressive architecture and a rich Hollywood history. But the rooms are shabby, and you've got a 50% chance of a horrible view.
If you want a comfortable bed, well lit room, ability to open the shutters and let the sunshine in, 24hr access to your vehicle without having to make a call for someone to get it and feeling the constant pressure to tip for their service, and at least some kind of continental breakfast or even a cookie, apple at the lobby front desk; this is NOT the hotel for you. First time staying at this hotel and last. The lobby was dark, although staff was extremely nice and helpful and tried to accommodate the concrete mattress with blankets it did not help. The hotel corridors and hallways reminded me of the movie The Shining with Jack Nicholson. My stay was 3 nights too long on business-my boss booked this hotel, ANYWAY!...Glad to be OUT!!
Awesome historic hotel. Pricey but worth it and a must for history buffs. Hollywood and Americana that is.
Pretty and a lot of history, but the rooms are very standard. The highlight of this place were the valet and bellhop guys. They deserve so much credit!
The old Hollywood Glamor of the early twentieth century, building with spectacular decoration
Historic hotel from the reception and from the very suggestive common areas. Rooms large enough but that would need a partial renovation. Friendly front desk staff.
amazing location! the hotel and service we're outstanding.
The guys who drove the van to and from Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeleswere pleasant and nice. The energy from the staff was so positive!!
Looks like a giant movie set, which, I would think it has been. Did not stay here, just checked out the lobby. Swanky.
Very accommodating and the staffs were nice people. The breakfast was so delicious and there's a lot of selection in the menu. I will come here soon for my next vacation
Great location friendly staff free motorcycle parking in the garage
Attended a professional event. The staff was attentive and the food delicious.
The style is a little old fashion, and a little mixed if you know your art history, but it is absolutely gorgeous. Not just that but they play up the classic look to the nines with fancy suits and old school maid uniforms. Great service and clean rooms as well.
The rooms are super nice, the hotel looks awesome, you can only park valley for $50 otherwise you have to park in a separate garage then walk to the hotel. The staff is super nice, but A/c in my room broke I called for service but no one came to fix it and they didn't move me. When checking out I told the manger and they took off the parking form my bill. I only stayed one night.
This place is relaxing and it has also many entertainment during at night! Nice place!
A truly grand old hotel that has been kept in pristine condition. It is also in a very convenient downtown location.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! I had drinks with friends at the bar and it was a lovely experience.
This hotel is amazing! Staff is polite, professional and friendly. Great location. Beautiful decoration and design.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, for work or pleasure. Super clean and safe as well
Great service, interesting decor, crazy underground tunnels.....dank
Love love love this place, most beautiful hotel I have ever seen. It was a pleasure and a honor to be able to stay there. Can't wait to go back.
Overall it was a perfect stay. We will miss all the fun
Rooms are very clean and recently renovated. Old style hotel with charm. Service desk friendly and helpful.
The rooms were nice and the hotel has a great vibe. But both my room and a friend's room had strong smoke smell.
Really fancy, really nice hotel! I can't praise the architecture and the art enough. Staff is good.
Beautiful arcitechture..rooms a lil small bit bathrooms are very tiny. Overall good
stayed at this hotel for two days and it was the worse two days. first off the hotel was booked under someone else name and i was added to the room this was day one. day two i happened to run into the cleaning lady as she saw me entering my room she stated to me that my room didn't have anyone staying there. So i went to the front desk and and i was told that i needed to check out and check back in even though the pre-existing booking was prepaid weeks before our initial visit. So my keys was turned off and I had to sit in the lobby for a hour while they sorted this out and i had to pay another resort fee and deposit to stay in the room that we already paid for. So if i had been gone all day i would be without a room. So when it came to pay for the deposit they wanted to charge the deposit to another room of a friend that was staying in a ANOTHER room on a completely different reservation. As for the room its cold and thats due to the old windows. the sinks are clogged and staff treat you are rude. i had food delivered and did not let the delivery man bring me my food ... never again i left and went to the hilton the second day
Attended for a charity event. Beautiful old architecture. Very classy. Highb end catered Food could have been better
It has a very good location and the rooms are quite good. It has a lot of history behind, in addition to it, series like Mad Men have been shot.
Staff was rude and told me to google when I Asked about the hotel. (So here I am Googling) Hotel was filthy. Black hands from touching hand rails. Stickers on elevators pealing, art peeling off the roof, dead plants around lobby. Room was dirty, black splotches of paint on the walls, dried fluids on the throw pillow, there was a picket line we were forced to walk through inside their lobby due to their staff not being taken care of, and there was no valet parking. Parking was a creepy unsecured building with a phone number on a piece of paper to call to get in. No food or drinks and staff refused to give us anymore than two small water bottles from cost-co.
Came for a few drinks at the bar and to check out their Christmas tree
The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. I really enjoyed the large closet and ample shelf space in the bathroom. Our questions were answeted politely and accurately. The area where the hotel was located was a nice part of the city surrounded by resturaunts and shopping areas. It was also conveniently close to the expo center.
Great hotel, full of history, well positioned in downtown L.A.
Decent place to stay in downtown. Very nice lobby and clean rooms. Restaurant and bar inside. Bathroom a little small. Paint peeling off windows.
My husband, treated me to this delicious surprise recently and just wow was the entire experience quite memorable!
The Millenium Biltmore is a beautiful piece of history. I would recommend it for anyone who has an interest in architecture. The location is central to many well traveled areas in LA, and the rooms are clean and not cramped.
OLD AND FALLING APART /WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. They didn't clean the bedroom completely and we found a concert ticket from September and we just checked in yesterday. Then there was an earring back in the bathroom. They don't want any outside food or drink in the hotel but don't have a very wide selection and change $3.59 for a bottle of water!!!! Just because you are in a Ritzy hotel that hosted the Oscar's eons ago you don't have to gouge people. We went and got Starbucks, Subway and others. There is no way they are going to tell me I can't when I'm paying to stay there. And the only beds are double beds. So I asked for a roll away and they charged me an extra $30 plus $7 tax even though the room was filthy and then it was my fault for not reporting it last night when we were exhausted so they could more us to another room. What a waste!! I could stay at a clean Holiday Inn Express and get full breakfast for me,my husband and my 2 kids and it would cost less that one night here.
Gorgeous hotel, expensive parking. Room kind of smelled like diapers but the service is great.
Room was surprisingly spacious, but the elevators were somehow always full.
Palatial lobby. Room architecture shows the age of the building.
Beautiful historic hotel. Valet parking is a bit pricey $50
This hotel is such an architectural flashback in time.
The hotel is pretty. The lobby is clean and the staff is nice and professional. My only qualm was the smoke. My next room neighbor must be a smoker...because the hallways smelled like smoke. The little room entrance smelled like smoke. And my room...after entering the room...smelled like smoke for ten to fifteen minutes. I ran the AC for that time to just filter out the smell.
I rate hotels on three categories, bed comfort, free breakfast, and noise level. The bed is comfy, there is no free breakfast and the windows were thin.
I am currently filling out papers to work in your company I write from Colombia and I hope that the job offer is real I really want to belong to your work team
Lobby ... beautiful.
Rooms ... not.
Extremely noisy hotel, old with no sound proofing. Not, NOT worth the money.
Seriously, there are much much much nicer stays in LA for the price.
Unhelpful $45/day valet
Dirty elevators
Rude bellhop
Walk through this hotel to check out the grand decor, but stay at the Hilton across the street.
Excellent service, exquisite on site dining, great conference rooms, and reasonable rates and prices on everything including parking. Recommend.
Lovely hotel with lots of history but when u go for a walk outside never seen so many homeless people or the smell of weed everywhere.
If you can sleep on airplanes, you'll be able to sleep in this hotel.
If you don't like noise, don't go there.
The week before i stayed at the San Jose Marriott for about the same price.
The difference was staggering.
Not that the Marriott is impressive in any way, but it provides the basics at a decent quality.
The Biltmore has an impressive lobby but poor quality for the rooms.
I can only describe the Standard Rooms.
My first room was very small and had a weak window with an array of very noisy AC fans in front of it.
The desk staff said there were no other free rooms but she could offer me ear plugs.
That would have been funny if i hadn't already been tired.
After she checked with the manager another room magically freed up, so i got to move 3 floors up.
The new room was slightly bigger and slightly quieter.
The difference was essentially, that the AC fans on the neighboring roofs were 3 floors down. The windows were still really old and weak, s.t. the noise level was essentially the same whether or not they were closed.
So I got to enjoy a mixture of Downtown LA traffic and AC fan noise.
This may be an LA thing, but it may also just be this old and worn down building.
There is some nice old glamourish flare to the lobby area, but the hotel is still old and worn down. I'm sure it works as a movie set, but i'd rather sleep in a real hotel.
Older hotel can tell by smell but like the Victorian look.
Beautiful venue. Food was amazing, atmosphere was incredible and the staff was excellent.
Nice location for exploring downtown from. Very neat interior too
Solid room on the 5th floor. Very large for 3 guests. Only thing I didn't like was lack of towels present in room when we arrive so it requires a call to housekeeping.
It looks like a high-end hotel from lobby decorations, but room facilities and decor was out dated and look cheaper than what I expected.
Went to the Biltmore for a financial training class. The hotel has a museum feel to it.
Classic LA architecture. Wonderful service. 5 star rooms.
Not the best. Had stuff stolen by the housekeepers.
The lobby of this place is stunning. The rooms are old though
Room had a beautiful view, they even surprised us with cookies!
The lobby and pool are really just beautiful, it s something you have to visit, but I don t recommend staying there... the room and bathroom are really small and not clean at all (I stayed at room 601) Also, you can hear what people is talking in the others room
