Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are gross and extremely outdated. Not even a refrigerator. The bathrooms are extremely outdated, moldy, and plugged sinks. We paid for the superior room with times square view and the room was no superior room in any way. Very small. furniture is literally falling apart. Then went to check out and noticed they charged me an extra 400 dollars? The gentleman say my bad didnt mean to charge your card. Took a week to take that charge off and on top of it they tried charging me an extra "staying fee" of 25 dollars.
No valet parking have to go to lot across the street that will cost you 45 dollars a day if you have a normal sized vehicle. Worst hotel stay ever. Even the people at the front desk were rude. Save the money this is not a 4 star hotel a regualr holiday inn is nicer than this place.

Stayed here Feb for four nights. First visit in NYC and wasnt disappointed. Hotel is in a great location Staff friendly and helpful especially the doorman. Room was clean and comfortable although a little update required. Would definately recommend if you want a fab location. Wasn't noisy even though Times Square about 100 yards away.

To me the only good thing about this hotel is the location it's right in the middle of Times Square. It's way overpriced, it has no mini refrigerator like all hotels do. I told the workers downstairs my toilet wouldn't flush 2-3 times they never came and fixed it. They have a wack Chinese restaurant in the hotel come on now who wants Chinese food? No swimming pool. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.

I was very disappointed. Front desk help was sarcastic and rude. Our toilet was not operating properly our entire stay. They did not fix it or give us a new room. Wait staff in the restaurant had a visibly bad attitude when I only wanted coffee and not food in the morning.

Previously rated the hotel as 5 star as I think I was still giddy about having just been married. We stayed here for our wedding trip. The location is great if you want to be close/in times Square but it won't be for everyone - it's so busy! The staff in general were excellent, the elevators weren't though. On a daily basis there would be at least 50% of them out of service which meant either climbing down 20+ floors of stairs or waiting 30 mins to get into a lift with space. My wife had to wait 30 mins in her wedding dress and was late to the wedding! The rooms are spacious but could do with a lick of paint. The beds were huge, and very comfortable

In need for renovation. If you like to stay next to time square, then this is a great location. But otherwise it is best to avoid this area and this hotel. Cannot comment on prices as I've stay there in a payed business trip

Do not book here!!! I booked a room in September and unfortunately had to cancel due to covid , they state it s free cancelation before their deadline which I did and they charged me for the stay anyway. I have been fighting with them and hotels.com about receiving a refund and have yet to receive my money back. I filed a dispute with my bank and they reversed the claim today. I HAVE ALL OF THE DOCUMENTS STATING WHAT TIME I CANCELLED AND THE CONFIRMATION, this is ridiculous. The front desk never answers the phone and if they do they are very unprofessional and never know anything. They are thief s. Do not book here.

We stayed for 4 nights. The only plus I would give this hotel is it s location. We were 2 blocks from the 1 & 2 train and the N, R, W station. The customer service at this hotel was terrible. On several occasions the front desk staff was rude to multiple members of our family. Simple questions that warranted simple answers came within terrible attitude. The rooms are also very dated and not overly clean. Both of our rooms had issues with the air and the engineer was condescending and insisted nothing was wrong with the air. Come to find out, it was indeed broken. The beds were like rocks and the pillows were so thin. I wouldn t recommend. There s a reason why the price is $50-100 cheaper a night than others in the area.

1st time in New York and this hotel is horrible The beds are rock hard we had to triple up the blankets on top of the bed to make it comfortable enough to sleep. The rooms and hotel are outdated there is no room service, housekeeping does not do a proper job I had to leave a note of what the room needed done. The room needs cosmetic surgery the paint is peeling the walls have stains, the carpet is dirty, they charge a "RESORT FEE" of $28.69 per day yet the rooms need so much work done the water pressure sucks the only decent thing is the location. Will never stay here again. The staff is not helpful at all the roo. Said it came with a view yet there was no view when asked the guy at the desk got an attitude. PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL FIND SOMEWHERE BETTER TO STAY THIS PLACE IS A JOKE

Hotel has NO a/c during non summer months. You cool the room down by opening the safety window and then listening to all the noise. Not my idea of a luxury hotel. Had I known would not have booked this hotel.

Fairly clean room. Great location. Not 4 star. No hotel info in the room. Have to pay for wi fi. Beds are VERY firm and pillows are flat. Linens smell like bleach. Not horrible but for the price I guess it's what you get for the price in NYC.

To start only 2 of 5 lifts work, I think we were lucky as only had to wait for about max 5 mins for a lift. Other guest said they were waiting about 30 mins. The rooms are tired, the furniture is scratched the wallpaper is marked and just feels old. The rooms are noisy and the doors to the rooms slam which gets annoying as you can hear other guest entering and exiting the rooms.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel I would say 3 at a push.

If you want to collect a parcel from the hotel, be aware that Vincent the parcel guy is very rude, and obviously doesn t want to work at the hotel. The bar is expensive and again the barman is rude. WiFi is ok so thats a plus point. It is also in a great location right off time square.

Great location but really sub-standard rooms... OMG. Stained wallpaper, furniture from the 70's, TV did not work at evening prime time due to a "Time Warner Update" Really? Could not find a better time than this? Perhaps you can save money here but for $400 per night, I expected a cleaner room and basic services to work.... Do NOT recommend.

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Had a view on the 42nd floor and it looked stunning. Location is a 30 foot walk to the middle of Times Square. Room, bathroom and hallways were clean. The elevator was slow due to construction, however they had a sign up letting guests know about the construction so that was appreciated.

I really enjoyed our stay at the millennium. We stayed here for five days in the new year and it ticked all the boxes for us. It had a modern interior in the lobby, but a vintage look on the hotel floors and in the rooms. Very 70s esque.

You get a flatscreen tv, blackout curtains (Times Square lights are 24 hours), a hairdryer, basic toiletries, towels and a safe for storing valuables. Wardrobes are also provided

The staff are really friendly and are a joy to talk to. We had a reduction on our city tax fees due to a fire alarm issue that woke us up one morning but they went the extra mile to ensure we were happy.

You re a 2 minute walk from Times Square, Times Square station, Starbucks and on the same road as various restaurants and an Irish pub we visited quite a lot. We really enjoyed our stay.

The only really good thing is the central location and literally a few meters from Times Square. For the rest it is an old hotel with large but bare rooms that are not always clean and need urgent (extraordinary) maintenance. Front desk and reception with very rude staff and generally poorly organized. One day they didn't do the cleaning in the room despite my early warning ....

Beautiful hotel with a great view of Times Square from the upper floors. Room was clean and spacious. The hotel is centrally located near Rockefeller Center, the Theater District, and many restaurants. Staff was very helpful and made for a wonderful stay.

Our stay here was fantastic. We had a great room and the view of Time Square was awesome. We celebrated our 20th year anniversary. The staff was very helpful in guiding us were we wanted to go. Again thank you and your staff for the hospitality.

Nice view from the 50th floor, but the interiors and the rooms are a bit dated, and there is no figobar in the queen's rooms, and the WiFi doesn't work or at least it didn't connect to us.

After leaving the hotel, they charged my credit card an additional $30 claiming that I had ate in their restaurant, which I didn't. When I called to complain, I was hung up on. When I called again, I was directed to Charles Briggs, head of accounting, who did not want to talk with me because he was leaving for the day. He assured me a call back the next day and I have yet to hear from him. I have called him and the hotel every day since I got the charge three weeks ago and I have got nothing but voice mails and a headache. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable, I would not trust them with your money.

Our reservation couldn't be found through a travel agency even through we had a 3 week lead....and the travel agency emailed to confirm... but didnt have a response. Our room did not have a refrigerator or coffee maker. The A/C was broken on an 80 degree day.. after walking literally all day...A/C and relaxation is due. Our room has views of other tall hotels but not pretty views of the night life. I specifically asked for Queen or King Size beds to accommodate 4 adults and received 2 double.

I can't say I will come back. A $400 room for 1 Saturday night... was opposite of being well worth it.

Right off times square, lots of tourists, good size rooms, and good location for food and attractions. Our biggest complaint was the firmness of the mattress which definitely led to some soreness and not great sleep.

The location is great! However the rooms are out of date and poorly planned. We paid extra for a room with a view and we only see the building next door. Overall the negatives are worth the location and the price.

First of all, the location of this hotel was perfect.
However, the cooling/heating system was in winter mode so our only options were heating and fan. We were miserably hot both nights. We were told to open the windows, but the street noises below us were intolerable. It also created a current in the room. As a result, there was a continuous whistling sound that kept us awake.

The hotel has an unbeatable location and the staff are very friendly. The mattresses are comfortable.
Cons: Despite being in a superior room, the furniture is old and broken (see photo). The double beds are very small, there are few double beds and to finish, when you arrive at the hotel they tell you that in addition to the NY tourist tax (around $ 3), there are $ 25 a day of "Facility fees" that nobody will tell you about. warn before. You feel cheated

This is the second time i've tried booking a room at the Millennium Hotel to find out I'm in a different hotel next door, the Millennium Premiere, that is not anywhere near as good at the sought after original hotel. Honestly a real disappointment. Rooms are fine and the bathroom is extremely large but the staff isn't very friendly and they don't have half the amenities they say they have. Take your chance on this one.

Toilet faucets stained rusty dirty The carpet in the rooms smelt were very dirty Furniture outdated scratched dusty . Beds were very very uncomfortable. . This hotel was not what I expected for $350 per night .walking in the hallways we saw the carpet had gum and more stains everywhere. The entire floor smelt . This hotel needs to be completely renovated. I would say this is the standards of a cheap motel !!! Do t waste your money staying here .

Awesome hotel. Nice clean ample rooms. Not too cheap but for the location the prices are very reasonable. You're within walking distance of just about everything. Only thing I had to take an Uber to was One Trade Center and that was about 38 bucks via Uber X.
