Very convenience, room is big enough, even it is old hotel
It was great fast check in and lovely staff. Grate view can't get any better
Beautiful hotel and the room was clean. Just a little small for a King room and there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room
We recently spent several days at this location. Room was very mediocre; however it was close to Times Square. I had to call housekeeping twice in one day to come make our bed, they apparently forgot. On our last day we received an invoice under the door which indicated a charge in the amount of $21.00 for a long distance call. I immediately contacted the front desk because neither I nor my guest made a call using the hotel phone. I spoke with the front desk manager who could not assist me and connected me with a representative who was supped to look up the information for me. After an exhausting 20 minute hold, I was greeted very rudely by a representative who stated the call came from my room, however he would not tell me the number, the time nor the duration of the call. I advised the man that we had not made any call during our stay. The employee was very nasty towards me and actually hung up the phone on me when I was trying to explain to him. I immediately called back to the manager and expressed my frustration. The manager took care of the charges but was very nonchalant concerning the rude employee. This was the poorest customer service I have ever received and I will never step foot into one of these hotels again. Save your time, do NOT stay here. Room is mediocre and service is horrible!
I only stayed for one night but it was an excellent stay. The room was very clean and impressive and offered great views of Times Square and Midtown. The front desk was extremely friendly and very helpful when I needed to leave my bags with them during an interview nearby. I would love to stay here again.
Haven't even gotten to my room today and I already would not recommend this hotel.
As a frequent traveler this hotel simply makes the check-in process a hassle with front desk personnel that talk down to you, assume the worst about you and generally just poor customer service and that's giving them credit.
chose this hotel by chance, great position between 44th and 45th street. Helpful friendly staff. Comfortable rooms.
Worst hotel, have stayed. It was totally different then pictures on website.
Hotel is well located at Times Square. The room has no water bottles, no welcome letter, paper, pens, TV listings.... bare. One of the days, the cleaning lady left our room unlocked and we were out for a few hours. There is a hotel fee per day in addition to your room fee.
Great location however our hot water ran out and our room was so hot were keeping the heater off and still had to open the window because the AC wouldn't turn on.
So disappointed in our 2 day stay, #1 Charged diff then what was told on phone, #2 After check in and dropped bags we left and returned late, after waking realize how dirty and unkept room was. #3 WORST part was the Bed and pillow which were like sleeping on the floor. We have stiff necks and back. Checked out this morning to check into diff hotel. #4 Staff is pleased but does not know how to answer any questions and passes the questions off to someone else. #5 Left a message for Manager right after checkin with our cell number as we were trying to set up a room surprise for daughter Birthday yesterday and they still haven't returned call.. You pay $$$for pretty lobby but get Holiday Inn room and service .
Syed at reception was really helpful and assisted us on our first trip to America.
Nice location and helpful staff. However, toiletries in the bathroom were not stocked like I expected - only one bar of soap to use between sink and shower.
Rooms are clean and for was good. The only downside to our trip was the 20-30 waitfor the elevator. They broke and the wait was nerve racking, packed like sardines. Otherwise the hotel was serve was great. Staff very helpful.
The room was comfortable but it was non smoking and the bathroom smelled of weed smoke. Surprised the cleaning people didnt resolve that before we got there. Otherwise the location was great for our broadway show.
Location is great. Room could use a little updating. Staff has been friendly and helpful. We got upgraded to the 51st floor with a fantastic view just by asking nicely. Biggest downfall of no free WiFi.
This hotel is a fantastic location, ignore the negative reviews, yes the rooms are slightly old fashioned but they are clean and the staff are helpful I would definitely stop here again when I visit new york, if you want a modern room which you only sleep in pay more there are plenty of more expensive hotels in the vicinity
Stated here for a weekend. It was nice. Room were clean and quite large by NYC standards.
Some rooms look out on Times Square. Can recommend. I would stay there again.
Nice hotel, beds could be more comfotable but spacious for NYC
Nice hotel in a great location. Staff were really nice and professional. Can't beat the location for the price.
Couldn't have been more disappointed with this hotel experience from start to finish. I will never stay here again.
Here are a few examples of why this hotel is NOT the place you want to stay in NYC:
1. Subpar customer service
2. Outdated rooms
3. Dirty carpet
4. Cracked wallpaper, paint etc. in room
5. Bad pillows, thin blanket, hard beds
6. No mini fridge in room
7. Hot rooms- no AC available before April even on abnormally hot days
8. No room service available
9. Elevators are SO SLOW
10. Hotel bar/restaurant is overpriced
Millennium hotel is located right next to the Times Square. It's a great option for tourists to stay. The hotel has bigand comfortable rooms. The room service is good.
Very poor experince, had to wait hours for our room along side many others.
Close location to Times Square and Broadway....you can take transportation to go all around the city, or just walk...The Millennium has great views and a prime location....not to mention all the amenities you come to expect in an upscale hotel.
Too old rooms ,,, no fridge no safety box .....staff is not so helpful ... & everything like wifi ... even a small adaptor u need they wanna sell it to u ... Their priority is not serving u first & than making money it's opposite they wanna make money that's it .., not worth for the price ...
Definitely a nice New York experience. Nice view and rooms
Central location to major destinations especially Times Square and shops.
Clean newly renovated,. Great staff. Perfect location and quiet for being next to Times Square
Very good housekeeping service but very old hotel which is not maintained well. Front office Staffs also are not that professional welcoming with "hey guys" which i dont know if thats the fad in the hotel
Clean room, impressive lobby. Not many bells and whistles but it's satisfactory
Nice location, walking distance from Times Square but rooms need to be improved(For the amount they are charging better service is expected).
Nice central location but cleanliness, maintenance and noise could be improved. The Monique receptionist did everything to improve that was possible.
Great location. Staff was pleasant. Bed was somewhat hard and at the age of 45 with an eh back, I didn't feel SO good first thing in the morning. Our window looked like it hadn't been washed in months and one of the elevators was kinda dirty. The room, though, seemed very clean and very roomy. Not the typical shoebox room in NY. Overall , it was a good experience. For the price, I just wish we had a pillow top bed, perhaps....
I was here in Summer 1999 w/IMTA Convention. It was very awesome to a 21 year-old from the Midwest. I was very pleased by the cleanliness, interior beauty, friendliness of staff, location, safety/security & food! I would definitely stay here again. The one star off is due to the conference room(s) being 3*****, although it looks like they've been upgraded since 1999. So to be fair, comprehensively, it was 5*****!
very dated rooms, without coffee maker or a minifridge! bathrooms in need of renovations. showerhead in our room spewed water in all directions, and toilet valve dripped water on floor. there was a lot of water damage evident in this unit. i would definetly not rate this anything but a 2 or 3 star hotel due to lack of amenities and room condition. price was lowest in area, i guess you get what you pay for, but its 4 star rating is very misleading.
This hotel has had its day . It s run down and the management is truly horrible .
In a great location and friendly service. The rooms are average but nice. Overall it was a good place to stay.
Location: fine. "Gym": small, swelteringly hot. (on day 2, someone mercifully cracked a window--this was during the bomb cyclone.) "Resort fee": careful when you book-- apparently 32 dollars was tacked on my credit card *after* I checked out for access to the internet and the gym-- amenities usually included hotels. I called, and was told it was on the expedia website. A resort fee is a laughable name given the very basic 'amenities here.'
And the WORST part? NO COFFEE MAKERS IN THE ROOMS.
Very good location! It also gives off a very trendy vibe unlike most hotels in Times square. Met a friend who was staying there and her room seemed adequate. The staff is very courteous and fun to communicate with and having entrances on both 44th and 45th Street is definitely a plus!
Room pretty dusty and dirty even after housekeeping every day. Old decor. Needs redecorating. No info given on breakfast, gym, check out time etc. Staff nice though and gym good for hotel.
Only thing I didn't like was the lack of mini fridge
Spacious, well located, it looks like it was luxurious, now it looks a bit old, but well
If I could leave ZERO stars I would. My husband booked this hotel for our honeymoon and his boss way kind enough to pay for it using his card through a third party. When we arrived at the hotel they told us it hadn t been paid for (even though it had and it was non-refundable) and we would need to put a card on file. They put a $2100 hold on our card and told us it would fall off eventually. Without going into to many details, it was the worst guest experience I ve ever experienced at any hotel.
The rooms were less than desirable. Outdated, no a/c, no refrigerator, no coffee pot. I overheard a member of the front desk team mocking a guest because she requested a fridge for her room for medication.
All of that being said, the location was perfect. Antonio, the concierge was by far the nicest person we met in NYC and gave us so many recommendations for food, drinks etc. I sat crying in the lobby while my husband tried to sort our situation out and Antonio made me feel a little better and did his best to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Lisa also worked to try to get the hold on our account resolved. Her hands were kind of tied but in reality I know she did her very best to try to salvage the remainder of our trip. Which we really appreciated.
Outside of those two people, the whole thing was a nightmare and I would highly suggest staying ANYWHERE BUT THE MILLENIUM BROADWAY.
Everything was amazing...the staff, the look of the lobby, the look of the room...but the bed was hard as a rock. Deters me from staying there again.
We stayed at this hotel from Friday- Monday. It has a very big nice looking lobby. The elevator was pretty fast going up. This hotel is NOT a luxury hotel. The room we stayed was very outdated. The wallpaper in the restroom waa dirty and peeling. We only had foot towels and wash cloths no regular size bath towels. The room stunk of toilet water. The carpet in the room had disgusting water stains. The floor on the left side of the bed was drenched in water. I'm sure there's some kind of leak. I requested towels and got them 2 days later. The only thing great here is the accessible location. This hotel is dire need of an upgrade and is far from luxurious.
Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff and comfortable beds.
Great hotel located at Time Square. Free WiFi. Always a pleasure to stay here
You pay for the location, the hotel is quite dated and rooms not that well kept but staff are friendly and do what you can to help. Having realised location isn't too important due to everything being spread out I'd probably do some more research next time we plan a stay at New York
The door were great!! Especially Kevin. They took great care of us. The room was pretty clean and fine for what we needed. Since the AC wasn't on in NYC it was a little warm in our room. The view was excellent from our room and we liked that we could crack the window.
WARM. SO WARM. AC doesnt work in the fall/ winter so you have to open the windows. Now you have the whole city of New York in your ear! Also their comforters are kind of gross. Staff is nice though, but I'd say stay at the hilton times square instead.
Old and expensive like everyone in NY in the tourist sector (near TSQ). Spacious room and professional staff. Breakfast if not included, gets expensive, do not pay and walk a few meters for a good cheap breakfast. Delivery service (amazon, ebay, etc ...) in the hotel very good. Room cleaning is medium to weak and the internet fickle. If you can afford it, okay.
Convenient location, a bit dated decor-wise. Great views of Times Square.
Good location in the heart of midtown, the rooms are bit old and the service is less than average
There is no way this is a 4 star hotel. The room that we stayed at was dirty, the towels on arrival were stained, the bathroom was dirty, the bath would not drain well, the wall coverings were peeling off especially in the bathroom. The gym is woefully inadequate. Some of the staff are rude and poorly trained. At best this is a 3 star. The only good thing about this hotel is the location - its right next to Times Square.
Was here for the penthouse NYE party to watch the ball drop out of the cold. For those of you considering it next year; the open bar is great, the atmosphere is like a sophisticated night club, and the food is great. The suites are not what you expect - while they do give you a great view of the ball drop, you will spend your time in the main area with the dancefloor, food and bar. You'll only attend your suite to watch the ball drop, so there is no prized position for "getting in early".
This hotel is in the middle of Times Square, walk out the door & down the block & you're right there.
The hotel staff were very nice especially the two managers I saw who were putting social distancing stickers on the ground near the front desk. The security guards were also very nice.
My only issue was there seemed to be a domestic violence situation going on in the room above ours. There was lots of banging, screaming, swearing , crying on & off for hours. Everytime we called to report it by the time the staff got to that floor it had died down. We had to call multiple times i wish the security would have knocked on their door or called their room even if they weren't being loud the moment they got there. We couldn't sleep for hours.
They did offer to change our room but at 2am with a flight the next day we were too tired. They could have simply called that room or knocked on the door.
Terrible, terrible hotel! Looks great in the lobby then ends there..rooms are very outdated, dirty dusty and moldy. The tubs stopper was dirty rusty and broken. Smoke detectors were easily 20 years old and yellow stained. Sheets were dirty dried blood on lamp shades, stained red bathroom floors. If I could give a negative star review it would be more than deserved. Hotel staff was extremely rude and didn't care at all.
Great Customer Service, go outside and go to the corner and you're in Time Square.
My wife and I visited this location on 3/15/19 thru 3/18/19 a surprise mini vacation for my wife. The location and view of the city are paramount however as stated in most reviews the beds were as hard rocks, there was no min fridge to store food or drink, and the A/C is non operational during the winter months. When your on the 42nd floor you need A/C no matter the temperature down stairs. I posted a review on FB and it was met with a call from a hotel manager within a couple of hours however I'm not satisfied with the outcome of our conversation and unfortunately will not be back to this location.

As a Diamond member you get to know hotels pretty well.. For a hotel that is supposed to be a star quality this one comes up majorly lacking. Apparently they on have one form of HVAC in the hotel so when it gets cold they switch to heat. Unfortunately for guests if it is not cold outside they are relegated to cracking a window and hoping for a breeze. The staff in general have zero care for customer service and have a general overall lackadaisical attitude. On the plus the room was rather large and offered great views...so if you want to not be able to sleep and just stare out at the view this is for you. If you want a good night's rest look elsewhere for sure.
