The hotel is all about the location. Everything else was just okay. Average I would say. Bathroom was outdated, but it had enough pressure to the sink and to the shower. Toilet was old, no fan or ventilation to the bathroom, which was a big minus. Beds are kinda hard. You could constantly hear the elevator going up and down. The furniture is super old and needs to be upgraded asap. The free ticket voucher for parking works. The car is stuck inside the parking garage from the time you drop it to the time you pick it up. If you go over 24h, you will have to pay another day of stay in the parking garage, so make sure you manage your time properly. The parking garage free is 35$/day if you go to Icon parking and park it yourself, but it was 75$ on the voucher. The front desk gentleman (Indian, I assume by his accent was terrible). Kept making rude jokes and telling me left and right what to do and who to stop collaborating with because he couldn t find my name on the reservation. (Last name and first name were inverted). It got a little better at the end of the check in, but his attitude was rude at the beginning. I paid extra for the view room. The total booking price was 215$, however I was charged 260$. No explanation whatsoever. It s not much of a view to be honest. The building has 52 levels and the rooms start at level 16. I got level 44 with Manhattan sky view. I asked the gentleman at the check in if it is a room with a view and he rudely said: I don t know what you booked and what booking is advertising you, all the rooms are the same. I was kinda disappointed and ready to cancel the reservation if he was gonna give me a low level room without a view. It was okay. Average, nothing wow. No outlets next to the beds, which was a totally discomfort. The only power outlet we found were in the dresser, under the tv, in the restroom or next to the windows. They offered free mask and gloves for Coronavirus. Towels in the bathroom were good quality, without any weird smell and they dry properly. Room was clean, but they need to update it ASAP. Lobby had a Christmas tree, but it is very very dark. I don t understand why they don t take advantage of the marble or granite or whatever they used there and light it all the way. It looks like a cave. Dark and cold.

I called the Reservation Department of Millennium Broadway Times Square Hotel at 10:43am today to confirm my reservation - which is already paid in full for 4 nights, more than 4 months in advance, - and the guy who works in that department was extremely rude, alleging I should spell the name of the guest correctly . He also told me, in a very rude way, that he did not need the PIN Number (giving me the feeling I was bothering him with this information). I highly suggest the Management to hear the call. If this is the way the customer is treated on the phone, I can only imagine how the guests will be treated in person.
I do demand measures to be taken, since this kind of treatment is UNACCEPTABLE!
I look forward to hearing back from the Management.

I want to share something. I've been here for almost two years and I've never been in such a situation. My mother came to visit me for a long walk. The planned trip was to Las Vegas. Miami and New York.
It used to be a fun trip. Only we did not plan, but my grandfather. My mother's father was hospitalized and died.
The big trip to my mother. The one I had planned for her. He stopped in the middle and had to return to Israel.
I called Expedia In order to cancel the entire trip we have left. We had more flights more hotels they planned to go to and we did not manage. Not that we did not want to. Those that really are a situation that can not continue. No one planned it.
Really, Expedia did the best to order her a new flight ticket and helped me cancel the whole trip.
But what ... One hotel did not want to cancel and did not want to understand the situation . Millennium Time Square New York
The same hotel. Said he did not understand the situation and would not cancel the trip and give me back the money. I don t understand how a hotel is. At least that's what he calls himself. Not willing to understand his customers. I talked to someone who introduced herself as director of "Eyin" and she just spoke rudely. And without mercy.
I suggest you. If you plan to travel to New York for a vacation. Do not go near this hotel. Many people told me that it was not a good hotel and yet I closed it because I wanted my mother to be on Time Square. Stay away from this hotel or if you do. Consider well that money they do not return. Lucky I'm not dead. Maybe then they would return.

Went there with our Dance performing company, no choice in location.

The rooms were dated, and no better than a holiday inn. 5 elevators for the top floors, and I only saw 2 working at a time. We had to walk down from floor 28 because down elevators would not come to our floor. Up elevators would, but they were full with other people trying to move down to the lobby.

Service was poor. It took all day to get coffee cups brought to the room. Even when the room got made up, while we were out, did they not leave coffee cups.

I get that it's an old building, but at the prices they charge a Night, and the place was full, you would think they could plan some up grades.

The location is of course quite good. Lobby also promises a lot. But: room and bathroom very old, cleanliness: earrings from other guests, sand in the shower, blood stains on thicker blanket, just a coat in between (no cover). At the end there is a stay fee on it. We prefer to move to another hotel.

We booked for 5 days and wished we had never booked it! Room is dated, carpet stained, bathroom door does NOT lock, and no amenities.. no refrigerator nor coffee maker. We turned on the lamp and the knob just fell off!! We ask why there was no refrigerator and they said we needed to ask for it in advance..the problem was they did not disclose this on the online registration so we had no clue! We asked for the refrigerator the first day and house keeping manager said she we would be first on the list.. The next day still no refrigerator and we asked the receptionist and he said that we are on now 3rd on the list. We told him that the lady said we were first in which he responded we did not get it because of the way we registered.. I did not get what he meant by that. We registered through Expedia.. was he saying that people who registered through Expedia are not getting any refrigerator? The 3rd day we had ask for it again and the lady said still no refrigerator. At this time we are giving up asking for the darn thing.. we already had several food we brought to the room spoiled because of this. Be careful, because they also add a $114 "
Mandatory hotel fee" that's non refundable on top of total amount for the room! For the expensive price they charge we believe it's not worth it. Maybe it's better to find a better hotel. We DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel.

Perfect location.

Perfect location.

However, lights that don't work. And the stranded bathroom curtain.

We Stayed here 2 years ago . Best time Great Experience . This time around was a disaster.
We drove down from boston Saturday for a 3pm checkin we checked in an hour before our arrive Online. . We get in around 230pm Check in again at front desk. They said room will be ready shortly figured we're early anyways No biggie. Told we'll even get a text when the room is ready . My 2 beautiful daughters 10 & 2 years old my wife with a broken foot & myself . Yup Daddy duty level 10. didn't mind stretching out! took a walk came back 330pm . Front desk . Sorry housekeeping is behind . Now We purposely Got the 54th floor for the View . Asked if I wanted a room on the 48th that its ready NOW.. I Said NO" . So again we're told ok we'll get your room asap. Told wait . 430pm comes around . Now like I said we booked this a while ago. We have a family reunion dinner at 6pm in Jersey and wedding next day. My family is exhausted they seen how upset we were getting. So my wife gets the manager she gets a room on the 50th . We take it. But honesty not even an offer for a Accommodation for their fault . We felt treated poorly . it set us back missing our dinner. I loved this place the first time around but honestly I'm a father with 2 young daughters and a wife with a broken foot. Give me a break just have the room ready . Great view . Oh top this housekeeping didnt even clean our room took and didnt replace Towels bath rug . What's going on. Beautiful hotel great view great location.

The millennium time square is false advertisement, when you look it up in google it states it is 4star hotel which is not on Yelp it is a 2star! The place is out dated, if your looking to travel back in time this hotel is for you. There was mold in the bathroom, broken air vents, falling apart cabinet, doors don't close correctly (we left for the evening and came back and our door was open) our view of time square was mediocre, and everything all around was just not clean. But they did let us check in early, which is why they got an extra star.

Stayed in this hotel for a weeklong conference in late March 2015. Dirty room ... Furniture aged & pieces / parts missing. Found hair in the tub & sink not to mention the bathroom counters appeared dirty too. Upon wiping w/ a wet washcloth it came away brown & dingy!! Quality of food was decent in the resto but the prices were ridiculous for both food & drink. Would not choose this hotel again on future visits.

The rooms are spacious and modern. The views are also amazing. The location is really convenient as well. I was able to catch a show of "On your feet" because of the proximity it is to all if the theatres. The only problem was that the WiFi did not work properly.

First of all, let me say that the reviews are correct, this is a great location. However, my experience was much less than great. I stayed in room 3303. I unpacked and ran out to dinner, upon returning, I pulled the sheets back from the mattress and found the mattress pad was covered in dead small bugs and bug droppings! I took pictures but unfortunately am unable to upload them for you to see the disgusting visual. I contacted the front desk who sent security up and moved me to another room. NO apologizes from anyone there. Absolutely unacceptable! But this the major problem with other minor things like: They have a restaurant and bar BUT the restaurant doesn't serve lunch or dinner in the restaurant, only breakfast. There are no coffee makers in the rooms and the restaurant does not have carry out cups for coffee. Why not? Should be simple enough, right? Never again.

Location is excellent in relation to Times Square. City views out of Superior Room on 40th floor are great. Check in staff were curt but efficient.

Meanwhile, the toilet backed up and had to be serviced. Sink was backed up. Water in the bath was only like warm at times. Mold around bath tub. Ceiling in bathroom is peeling across entire surface. TV system is antiquated and barely worked (even after maintenance came out). No in-room fridge, but the old spot in the cabinet is there. Plugs by desk lamps/night stands are only behind cabinet and you can t get to them in order to charge/power devices.

The only good thing of this hotel is the location. Horrible beds. Old bathrooms. My shower water was stucked and they refuse to give me another room. Had to wait 3 hours for the "expert" to fix it

The pillows are thin and hard. They claim to be a 4 star hotel..

I would say 3 the max.

For the price is not wroth it!!!

Fantastic room, view was sweet, best single ply TP I've ever seen. Bed was super comfy, shower had great temp range and pressure with adjustable shower head. Furniture in lounge area of the suite was also super comfy. Plenty of storage space.

The location is obviously fab. The staff was nothing but helpful and friendly throughout the week. We had a few slight problems; leaking ceiling in the bathroom, curtains falling down and not having the promised fridge in our room, but these were all addressed in a timely manner. The rooms are slightly dated but it's nothing that would ruin anyone's holiday. The lifts were working fine when we were there.

At the end there was some confusion with the resort fee. At the time of booking we were made aware that it would be around 11 dollars per night, but we were initially billed over 20 dollars per night for four days. We brought this up in the reception, where it was corrected promptly. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others, who are looking for one in a great location

For the past nine years, we ve never stayed anywhere but here. It s in the middle of all the action of Times Square! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Especially Mark, the bellman, and Monique, a wonderful Girl Friday! These two go above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We love Millenium Broadway.

Hotel is close to times square. Room maintainence could be improved. On a scale of Plush-Medium-Firm, the beds are Firm. I was not pleased with the bathroom (see pictures). At this hotel, you are unable to choose if you want A/C or Heat. (i.e. During winter, only heat is available even during unusually warm days). You CAN set your temp. min/max but that's it. The power outlets are not in a convenient spot. It my room (2 Double Beds Room) the outlet is located behind the bed (see pictures). WiFi is very slow. I tested download/upload speed to 3 different servers. (Data Room, AT&T and Spectrum) (See Pictures). Overall, not a very pleasant stay.

This hotel popped up with the Priceline deal, so in a sense we were kind of stuck with this hotel!

Thankfully, it is right next to Time Square so it was nice to have Time Square as your neighbor

Not to mentioned we met Jon Voight (Angelina Jolie's papa) right outside of the hotel - he had friends staying at the same hotel we were at! I mean if he had French Friends staying at the hotel- it can't be Terrible!

This hotel discriminates against single women, I requested an early check in prior to my arrival. I got here at 8am they said it was too early, understandable I came back at 1pm as suggested. At this time i was told a room would not be available until 4pm. In the mean time, I'm seeing single men, families, groups of women and couples checking in with luggage and going up to their rooms. I asked the Hispanic Male that originally checked me in what's going on, and he said it's all about the category/level....excuse me but I'm spending almost $3k for 4 nights at a teeny tiny hotel with little to no amenities....Beware the small framed Hispanic/Asian Ilander female if you are a single woman with spending power, this is her way to execute a sense of power and control...just putting this out there for any other single females checking in over the Holidays

(Continued from another review)

(Continued from another review)

I ended up speaking to the director or I m assuming the manager of the place and he understood my frustration but still had no solve for me having no money. However he did decide to deliver me a microwave for the room so I can at least heat up food from the prior night, which I appreciated. Still no fix for WiFi and had no money.
While I admire them helping me how they could, make experience was opportunistic from the time I got there to the time I left.
I won t be booking this place again until the view I want can actually be given to me and the customer service is better.
Maybe I ll recommend to friends after the Covid 19 rooms open up.

The best location in New York. The view from the room is unfortunately obscured by other skyscrapers. Rooms kept clean. Staff are nice, although there are problems when checking in or checking out. I have been charged too much money from my card twice. This is not a nice experience. Free wifi throughout the hotel. Very close to public transport thanks to which we can get to every corner of New York.

Check in went great. Very nice. The room looked nice upon first glance. And then I opened the sheets to see blood spots on the bed. They were unwashed sheets in the bed; it was hideous knowing you got used for sheets to sleep in. After an initial shock I called the front desk and let them know. A manager came to see and offered a new room. How would I know those sheets are clean in a newer room? At least if I kept the room, I knew every piece of linen was new/fresh after they come to change it out. It was over an hour before someone came and they just walked in the room. I was sitting there watching TV but it was weird that no one knocked, just walked in. There for alarm went on and off for over an hour. I was told it was an ice machine or something. I would not recommend this hotel, seeing as how you are re-using linens. Obviously not a sanitary place to stay.

This hotel is terrible! Customer service is the worst. They don't clean the rooms, the hotel is old, and the service is terrible.

Maids clean the rooms after 9:30PM and will keep you awake all night due to people staying from the airlines. I cannot believe a room was being cleaned by my room at 12AM and it was LOUD!

Although the location is great, the hotel is HORRIBLE! Do NOT EVEN CONSIDER booking a room here.

We just checked into this hotel on Dec 31st. First, the so called "sanitation sticker" was not on the door but on the floor (picture). When we walked in, it appeared that someone had already been in the room. Also, when got in the room, there were bugs (picture), coffee splattered on the wall (picture), food remnants in the refrigerator and, finally, the furniture appeared was so dirty and worn down (picture) it appeared as if we were in a. "hourly hotel". To add insult to injury, when I told the manager, there was no apology or an attempt to find another room. She simple pushed us away and said she would just send someone up to clean it. I would avoid this hotel if you can.

The hotel is so nice and big. The bedrooms r really big compared to the other hotels in NY. The bedroom was nice and clean with beautiful windows and scenery. The location was fantastic as well. The price for the nights were very reasonable and The staff were very kind and helpful. Thank you!!
The only thing I wasn t happy with was the out dated bathroom(that didn t look clean)
We will still go back in the future.
