Matt in-service was exceptionally helpful today when I brought in my 2012 Forrester for an airbag replacement. He told me he could turn it around in less than two hours and he did with the half hour to spare. He also showed me how to fold in my side mirrors which has been frustrating me for about a year now! Kudos to him! He's a great tech he's a great tech and you're lucky to have him!

We visited Mike Shaw Subaru on 10/24 to test drive a used SUV we had found on their website. We were greeted kindly by our salesperson Eric Grimm at the door and offered a seat and refreshment while he pulled the vehicle around. In no time at all and with zero hassle we were able to do a test drive. Although that particular SUV didn't feel quite right for my long legs and driving style, Eric was very knowledgeable and was able to recommend and set up a test drive for a different SUV that ended up being a perfect fit for us! We were able to negotiate a great price and drove our new vehicle home in no time at all.

This was my first car buying experience at a dealership and I had done plenty of research to try and prepare myself for the high pressure sales situation that you always hear about. I was so pleasantly surprised with Eric, he made this first experience easy for me and I didn't feel pressured in the slightest. I would highly recommend working with him to anyone who visits Mike Shaw Subaru!

I went in to get a routine oil change and they discovered that one of my tires was leaking air. In addition to showing me everything that needed to be repaired/replaced, (so that I could see which things were truly necessary to improve the performance and safety of my vehicle) they really went above and beyond to fix a patch job on my tire that had been done poorly somewhere else. Everyone at the dealership was very professional and I am happy with the work that was done on my car. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I know i was not looking to buy a car from these people. But I just purchased an 07 Forester and wanted to buy OEM all weather mats for it to protect my investment. I called into this dealership since it was closest to me and asked to speak to the parts department. I had found the mats on their website for $39.96 but it did not give a in store pickup option on the website, which is why I called. They transferred me to Manuel in their parts department who proceeded to check their stock for on hand inventory. He came back a minute later and told me they had one set for $49.99. I said great, will you honor the price on your website for the $39 price, and he said you need to buy them on there for in-store pickup. I told him the reason why I am calling is because it did not give the option for it. His response was well everyone does it that way and you just need to find the option. He made me feel like I was an idiot and couldn't navigate a crappy quality website. So i asked again can I just come in and pay for them when I pick them up for the price you have on your website. At that point he just got difficult, and kept saying buy them on line and pick them up, and then just hung up on me!! Are you kidding me? What kind of customer service is that? I am trying to give your business my money and you hang up on me? So I tried calling back to give them another chance and they transferred me to another part guys, who suprise suprise would not pick up the phone, even after waiting 20 minutes. Needless to say they will not be getting my business.

I had a very good experience at Mike Shaw Subaru working with Matthew Goldie. He greeted my boyfriend and I as soon as we were walking around the lot, looking at vehicles for me. He was not pushy by any means. He listened to what I wanted and needed in a vehicle, answered my questions about the different types of vehicles I was looking into, the pros and cons. We test drove a couple vehicles, and Matt was very patient and customer focused. After I decided what I wanted, we determined the color and trim model was not on the lot. But Matt, made some phone calls and found me what I was looking for. He lined everything up and communicated very clearly, making this a much easier transaction than I thought it would be. I was nervous buying my very first 'new' car ever (I have always bought used new) but he has made this experience very comfortable and easy going. I would 100% recommend working with him for your next vehicle purchase- A+ for professionalism, friendliness, and being very helpful! If I buy another vehicle in the future, I will be looking to work with Matt at Subaru.

I just purchased a beautiful car from Mike Shaw and couldn 't be more pleased. I was hesitant to go to a dealership after having had several not-so-nice experiences with Groove. But Shaw had the car I wanted. I worked with William Reynolds, who is 5 star all the way. He was responsive immediately to my texts, emails and phone calls, even on his day off. He offered to come to my house to pick me up since I was without a car. He answered all my questions and walked me through the entire process. William worked with me to get a price I could afford and was polite and informative through the whole thing. Not only that, but he sat very patiently and explained all the new technology on my vehicle. His help was stellar!! Plus, he called me at home the day after the purchase to make sure I was pleased or to see if I had any questions. This is the kind of service Mike Shaw offers. I live in Centennial but went all the way to Thornton for this car, and I wasn't disappointed.

We purchased our 3rd car from Mike Shaw. Each experience was excellent. The most recent car buying experience was awesome. My car broke down I needed to purchase a new one asap! Needless to say I was stressed. I went for a test drive with Anthony Maestas. After we drove the cars he asked if we were ready to by. I was not because my husband was leaving town the next day. We asked Anthony not to contact us during that time. He did not. When my husband returned we went right over to see Anthony, unfortunately Anthony could not meet with us however he made sure another salesmen was available for us and called us. We meet with Justin. Justin was patient and talk about no pressure. I drove the same 2 cars more than once, I couldn't decide on a color he never rushed me. This night the dealership was so busy. Justin was asking other departments to assist them to make things go faster for us. I absolutely love this dealership!

Probably one of the worst dealerships I checked out to buy a new car from. The first guy we talked to was really rude, i think it was because I was young and they didn't take me a serious buyer. I said i was interested in the 2015 Wrx and we asked if we could test drive the car and he told us flat out no and that we couldn't test drive unless we were going to commit to buying, which makes no sense to just buy a car without test driving it! Even though without a test drive, we tried to negotiate a price and tried to get a car payment between $400 - $500. Went back and fourth trying to negotiate a price and the sales guy said that if i wanted a Wrx that i needed big boy money, to me i felt like that was an insult. From that point on i knew i didn't want to buy a car from that dealership. So i went to Flatirons Subaru, and they let me test drive a brand new fresh off the truck Wrx, made a deal that day and drove off the dealership four hours later with a brand new car! It was an early graduation present from my parents and now they're looking for a new car, which they'll probably buy from Flatirons Subaru.

My experience with Eric Grimm at Mike Shaw Subaru was the best in my long car buying history. Eric was patient, knowledgeable, and friendly person. Eric listened to what I needed in a car and made sure the vehicles he showed me were right for me. I ended up with just the right car at a good price and I will return to this dealership and to Eric for my future cars.

Chris made sure my car was all taken care of for my next cross-country trip. I travel a LOT and try to only get my important service done at this particular Subaru shop, because I trust them -- they make sure I get what I need but they don't push unnecessary services. I'd had a long-standing issue with the tire pressure icon on the dash, and Chris made sure that it was thoroughly examined by the amazing mechanics. I feel safe to hit the long and winding road again!

Had my car serviced here and also had them look at a knocking noise coming from my steering (warranty work). When they called to say it was ready they mentioned there was no noise. I repeated the instructions on how to reproduce. They called back to say it was a suspension problem and parts are ordered. I picked the car up and told them it was unlikely a suspension issue and asked they schedule additional time when they replace the strut mount in case that's not the problem. A week later the strut mounts arrive and are replaced. I'm told the problem is fixed. I collected the car and it was obviously not fixed. I had to book it in a third time when they discover its a failed steering rack (as I first suggested). Part takes a week to arrive and I collected the car. A few days later I hear a new noise. I inspect the car only to find the control arm stiffeners on both sides are loose and rattling around (see pic). Two other bolts on the sub-frame are also loose (finger tight). I don't have a hoist to inspect but I wouldn't be surprised if other components are loose. I now have to return a 4th time to hopefully have the issue fixed. This is really sloppy work to say the least. Not to mention the safety concerns.
Getting frustrated, I've wasted close to 8 hours now going back and forward to have a single issue fixed. Starting to wonder If Subaru is worth the trouble. Good cars but the service really sucks.

Recently had a major failure with the engine in my 6 year old WRX. The service advisers and managers there were overly helpful coming up with a game plan to get it fixed in the most affordable way. The work was then completed in the time frame as promised. All questions were quickly answered through out the process. Weather its working with service department or the parts guys its always easy to get in and out. Will recommend these guys to anyone that has a Subaru that needs work.

Frank Cruz, Finance Manager at Mike Shaw Subaru, failed to disclose key terms of the finance agreement by charging $4000 fee for a services contract. I purchased a 2011 Subaru Legacy on June 14, 2014 for a sticker price of $16500. I ran my credit score three weeks prior to going into the dealership and my score showed as a 750 on Fico. When I was pre-approved over the phone, the Salesman, Matt Stephenson, told me over the phone that my Fico score was a 670. Then the finance manager, Frank Cruz, said that my score was actually a 656. So right off the bat they were not honest about my credit score. After agreeing to purchase the car, Matt came back and said they would be willing to finance me at a 9% rate. When I got in Frank Cruz' office to discuss finance further, I let him know immediately that I did not believe their credit score was accurate. He proceeded to tell me that he could give me a 5% rate, but I would need to purchase a services contract. He never actually mentioned the cost of that services contract would be $4000 and only cover the car up to 100,000 miles. When I asked him about the details of the contract, he stated that it would be best to just sign the paperwork and that I was getting a good deal. As soon as I returned home, I realized they had charged me $4000, which was at no point disclosed during the signing. Frank never discussed percentages or any of the fine details of the contract. On another note, when I got in the car to drive away, I noticed that the oil light on the car was on. I pointed this out to Matt, who proceeded to tell me it is no big deal and not to worry about it. I then checked the oil level, and saw that it was extremely low. I told him I was not leaving until they put more oil in the car. I asked him to have the mechanic perform a full oil change, as it would only take a few extra minutes, but Matt was so concerned about getting me out the door and on to swindle his next customer that he refused to ask the mechanic to do this. The mechanic stated that the car was actually 1.5 quarts low on oil, and filled it up.

I found an '07 Outback listed online and came from out of town to check it out. I liked the car, negotiated a fair price (for both buyer and seller), and took it home. The following day, my mechanic found a leaking Head Gasket (one of the biggest and most common problems with Subarus). I talked to Mike Shaw, and given that their service department had missed a huge, critical issue, they *offered* to cut me a check for *my* mechanic to do the repairs. They stood behind their car, and even though there was a problem, and it was a used "as-is" car, they took responsibility. That's a rare thing these days.

The financing lady I met with at the end was not so wonderful. I did not even catch her name. Her demeanor was cold and I felt like she had an attitude with me. She just wanted us out of her office. That's how I felt and I did not feel comfortable asking her any questions which is quite unfortunate. She definitely tainted the whole experience for me. If it was not for Tevin, I would have not followed through with this dealership.

Big shout out to Matt in the service department!!! My wife and I spent a stress filled week in Denver while I underwent a heart procedure that could not be done in our hometown of Grand Junction. The procedure went well and the hospital staff worked hard to make sure I was released as early as possible on Friday so that we could make the 4 1/2 hour drive home and hopefully avoid heavy traffic getting out of Denver on a Friday afternoon. Our stress had lifted and we were looking forward to making the trip home Friday morning. Unfortunately, when my wife started our Forester the check engine and other lights came on. We called a Subaru dealer close to the hospital hoping to get it checked but we were told they could not look at it for at least a week. Although it was across town we contacted Mike Shaw Subaru where we had a good experience purchasing our vehicle three years earlier. We were very lucky to get ahold of Matt in the service department. Although they were very busy and short staffed, Matt took the time to run diagnostics for us, determine that it was a gas cap issue, reset things and send us home safely, confident in our car. We cannot say enough good things about Matt and how much we appreciate his kindness and professionalism. Although we do not make it to Denver often, our positive experiences with both sales and service at Mike Shaw make it tops on our list when we do!

I've had nothing but good experiences here. I've bought two cars here so far and walked away feeling great about the deals plus they help out as much as they can for any service related issues. I found out I had a nail in my tire during a routine oil change, they said it could take up to 45 minutes but 15 minutes later I was driving away. Extremely happy with these folks!

I was having a problem with another dealership trying to get a battery for my car because my car was barely starting in which they refused to replace it both times I was there telling me everything was okay even though my battery charge was 0%. I was starting to doubt my purchase for a Subaru because of lack of care they had for their customers. After a third try at another place I finally got my battery replaced. This facility is very friendly from the time you walk in till the time you leave. They actually listened to the problems I was having with my car which gave me some relief. I will definitely be back here.

I've had the worst experience with this crew. They have deviced me left and right about the price of my vehicle. We agreed on a price includes taxes and fees and I still paid taxes and fees on top of the agreed price. When disputing it with them they would not fix it. Completly shady how they added the numbers. On top of that when I purchased the vehicle it was dark and I did not notice that my windows on my vehicle were tinted which is something I wanted for my son to sit in the back seat. They still sold me the tinted windows and did not disclose to me what was included in the package for the price and failed to disclose that my vehicle already had them. Completely heartless people that work here. They only care about making a deal and will decieve you any way they can to make it. I love my vehicle, but I will never recommend anyone buy one from them. Go to another dealer that have hearts.

Brought my Forester XT in to have my 15k mile service done as well as some ignition work due to a recall, and had a fantastic experience working with Matt from the service department. Very professional from scheduling my appointment on short notice all the way through to getting my car back the same day, early enough to even beat the afternoon rush hour on I-25! Having bought my Subaru in California, I don't really have any dealer loyalty in the area, but will certainly be coming back to Mike Shaw Subaru on account of the great service.

Cliff Swaim was the best salesman I have encountered. He allowed us to buy the car we wanted rather than trying to steer us into a vehicle. This is hard to find most times.
