I had an excellent experience buying my new 2013 CRV-EX-L at Midtown Honda. I have been contacted first by Eli Green the Internet Sales Manager who saw on line my Autotrader Ad for my 2007 CRV. Eli was very polite, courteous and established the connection with Joe Panetta Assistant Sales Manager. Joe was terrific by taking me to test drives couple of times and being very patient with all my requests. The entire staff from receptionist to Internet Sale, Sale, Customer Service and Service was excellent. I will recommend Midtown Honda to all my family and friends

If you're buying a used car from them ask if they've done oil change and replaced the air filters if needed. Bought a $30k + used SUV from them and when I took it for an oil change this is what they pulled out of the engine bay. It's a $30 part! Contacted them about it and was just told that this is not part of safety check.

Vince, Maggie, Andre and Liz The three of them are helpful, professional, honest, reasonable and empathetic to their customers.

To tell the story, on a cold morning I had the not great experience of having car problems with my under warranty honda civic. They helped provide a temporary solution until the permanent fix (still in progress), and proved that good people exist.

To management: all three, Maggie the cashier (as she called it), Andre who is probably a lot attendant, Vince the service manager and Liz who is the assistant manager for Vince are great people and earned you a long term customer by their actions.

Wow this place has really gone down hill over the years. I've been a customer for 10 years and today my husband was met with rude and childish service advertisors after he went in to inquire about a part they said they were ordering for me WEEKS ago. One service advisor literally said he was too busy to help him because he was "planning his day", yet proceeded to strike up a conversation with someone else right after.

My husband was told to ask another service advisor for help, and that advisor literally locked his computer and walked away upon overhearing this.

For the amount of money we've spent at Midtown Honda over the years, this behaviour is abhorrent. We won't be returning.

Excellent customer service, the truth is that I have to thank Lincei Ponce enormously for the two beautiful cars that he sold us. After having visited other dealearships and with no luck getting approved, Lincei and his team were able to approve us even though our credit was not the best of all.
We bought our first car with her on October 1, 2020 and the second we bought on November 20, 2020.
When we bought our second car, we were aware that very little time had passed since we had purchased our first car, but we still went back to her to see if we could be approved again. The truth is that although the second vehicle cost a little more to be approved, as I mentioned before because our credit was not the best, Lincei worked too hard to be approved and I appreciate your effort and dedication.
I do not regret at all having visited Midtown Honda because they were able to approve us twice in a very short period of time, and they got us the financing of the cars with very well-known finance companies in Canada. We are very happy for the house with our cars and I have to admit that despite all 2020 it was not so bad for us :-)

Great customer service. Highly recommend. Been to many Honda dealerships but Midtown Honda is by far the best in terms of custemer services, prices, deals, parts and all that follows. Nada is a great representative there who takes her job seriously and accurately. Very funny and will make you laugh out loud easily I wouldn't reccomend you messing with her! But hey overall, Midtown Honda has all your needs and it is highly recommend.

I took my 2017 Honda Civic model for service. Service manager told me that it will take 90 min. After waiting for almost 2 hours manager told me that we are unable to find the vehicle and finally the figured out that it was stolen from their workshop.
I would highly recommend not to bring your car for service in this location and if you are then make sure you keep an eye on it.

Before you make your trip to midtown Honda, consider this, just 15 mins away is Maple Honda, and if you spend the 15 extra mins to get there, you might have made the best choice of your car maintaince life. Midtown Honda is small, service is poor, and their people skills need work. Almost everytime I went, it was crowded. Sometimes, you might as well think of their mechanics as run of the mill workers at any garage. Now, rememeber what I said before? If you spend the extra 15 mins, you can go to Maple Honda? I'll tell you why, it's because you will be treated like royalty. Oh and don't forget, you will get free food, that's right folks, you read that right, free delicious food, not just coffee, I mean pizza, cookies, drinks, and cappuccinos... It's amazing! So forget midtown Honda, go to Maple Honda because you will be surprised at how professional and courterous their service is!

Just bought my car today and it just feels fantastic! The atmosphere in the area is very positive. Also the employees there were very caring and helpful for both their cars and customers they sell to. Sandra Cristina, Micheal Young and Indran Jayalath were very helpful people who i was able to purchase the car from and it the end of the day i left with a brand new car! thank you very much for your help :)

Requires multiple calls to book an appointment as no one answers- any time of day. Selecting #2 to speak to advisor is successful but they transfer to appointment boooking which results in the prompts replaying and that no one is available - 99% of the time.
Some advisors don t know correct # to transfer for shuttle service - so that too takes multiple calls to get through. Being busy is understandable, but it s a failure to never be able to answer a customer call to book an appointment.

I had the worst experience here. I came to change my winter tires and made arrangements with my family so I can remain safely in the car during COVID-19. Customer service told me it'd take 45 mins to 1 hour, which is reasonable. When we called for an update after 1 hour past, customer service kept transferring us to the mechanic, who NEVER picked up his phone. We didn't know the status of the car for a good while! Customer service told me to just wait. I ended up having to enter and speak to someone (something I'm avoiding) and that's when things sped along. We waited a total of 2+ hours. I don't appreciate the dishonesty or lack of customer service. I will not be returning and do not recommend coming here for service either, unless you enjoy waiting for long periods of time.

I have been taking my Odyssey for servicing to Midtown Honda for years. The service team is amazing ...so helpful and respectful. I would give the service team 5 stars. So when a friend decided to buy a new car, I said he had to go to Uptown Honda. Wow was I shocked to hear what a lousy experience he had with the sales team! He was on the sales floor for 30 minutes looking at cars and not one person offered assistance. In fact, there were a few guys standing around that he over heard joking about other customers. I was so disappointed that his sales experience didn't rival my service experience. Doesn't sound very "customer driven" to me.

I purchased my 4th vehicle from Midtown Honda which was a 2019 Lexus. After only being in the country for 3 months, it was very difficult for me to get approved at other dealerships but Maria Hashemi was able to work hard with the banks to get me approved at the prime rate. Now, I went back to herself and Margarita Vega to purchase my 4th vehicle, they have provided me nothing but exceptional service each and every time. I am shocked to see these negative comments about staff at the dealership especially Maria because she always has pleasant customers as I've seen on each of my visits to the dealership. The general manager, Ivan, is also very friendly and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

I called to book a service appointment, and was bounced around to 5 different employees that all weren't in the service department. I guess they only care about selling cars but not maintaining them. As this is the closest dealership to my home it's very disappointing that I have to go further away to fulfill my maintenance needs just so I can keep my warranty.

Below story sounds like businesses happening in 3rd world in the 1960's, but this is exactly what I had to go through for the last several weeks. If you already purchased car here and never reviewed your bill of sale, please DO IT NOW!!!

- My (father's) car was recently stolen 3 weeks after the purchase (this was my 2nd purchase at this location)
- For the insurance claim, I reviewed the bill of sale and realized that I got charged for a protection plan ($1,450.00) which I clearly declined at the paperwork stage.
- During the paperwork session, the financial manager (Maria) tried to sell a protection plan (called Titan Coverage) and my father and I declined it. But then, she clearly said she will be giving the protection plan for free since I am repeat customer. Subsequently, she threw a very friendly (later turned out to be hypocritic) sales pitch, saying that "You should come back to us again in the future in return of my favour".

- To get the 'stolen' money back, I went to the dealership and asked her about the charge. In summary, her response was "There might be a miscommunication, There is nothing free, If you want I can refund you the money". no apologies.
- I brought it to the general manager (Brad) and did so for 2 reasons: 1.awareness & 2.chance for him to redeem her wrongdoing as her boss. However, it was very disturbing that his first question was whether or not I will be replacing (re-purchasing) the stolen car at his dealership, but he was co-operative enough to listen to me at the moment while being very neutral. It was about 2pm in the afternoon and he promised to provide more concrete answer regarding the refund around 8pm that night after further investigation on his end. He did NOT call at 8pm that night.
- He did not call the next day either.
- He called 2 days after and told me that he found 2 documents that my father signed. My father might have signed the paper (expecting it would be free as what she said), but never agreed to have the protection plan added at additional costs. His point was 'You guys signed the paper, legally she/we didn't do anything wrong'. Then he asked again whether or not I would be replacing the stolen car at his dealership. [Conclusion: Financial manager promised the client to give protection/warranty for free, but in fact add it on the bill and make him/her sign the multiple-page documents.]
- As my answer was 'No, I am not repeating purchase from Midtown Honda', the general manager said he has to go back to third party to request the refund since Midtown Honda does not keep the money. It was Saturday afternoon, and he said he will get back to me with an answer by coming Tuesday.
- No response on Tuesday.
- On Wednesday, I got e-mail from the financial manager (who did the fraudulent sales), not by the general manager, telling me that the protection plan got cancelled. Then she asked when I can come by to pick up the cheque. I find this extremely rude as it sounds to me "Here is the money that I took from you without your agreement, anyways come and get it".
- My response: "I don't want to go back to where I became victim of fraudulent sales. Mail the cheque".
- The general manager replied shortly after, "You were not a victim of fraudulent sales with 2 different contracts signed by your father. Maria will mail your cheque." - No apologies or whatsoever...I find the general manager's such irresponsible response and his overall attitude/approach on this entire damage control process were even more disgusting and provocative than her fraudulent sales.
- Today, 8 days after the conversation above, I still have not received the cheque yet. It should take only 2 business days as they are located only 9kms away from me.

Now I even feel thankful to the car thief who helped me see Midtown Honda's real face. Otherwise I would be paying the $1,450.00+tax throughout the next 72 months without even recognizing. Lack of business morale and common sense from top to bottom.

My experience at MidTown Honda was extraordinary, the service at this dealership is exceptional. The moment I walked into this dealership I was immediately welcomed and accommodated. I was give a step by step breakdown on how the process of leasing my car would go. This opportunity made my leasing experience more comfortable as I trusted this dealership with the service they were providing me, thus making me more confident on my big purchase. You can really rely on these guys, they do online sales now and they work very hard to make customer happy and satisfied. I bought used car from them without even seeing it, but everything exceeded my expectations: the condition of it, the service, the final bill and finally the lightning fast delivery. It was at my door within days. Best word to describe is exquisite, and outstanding efforts! Keep up a good work you guys from the sales team. The essential and front line workers truly need you in these dificult times!

I went to midtown Honda about 2 weeks ago to shop for a brand new car. I was deciding from the CRV and HRV. Joseph was the one helping me as to which car to get. Joseph was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained each difference of each model of the cars. When I decided to go with the CRV, Joseph had described the details of each trim and explained the features of each trim. After choosing the CRV LX, Joseph had showed us which people to talk to for financing services.
To finish up the paper work, Josh and Maria had been tremendously helpful in every step of the process.
The day we picked up our car, Marko was very knowledgable about the car and showed us how to do specific things on the car. He was very friendly and helpful.
Pretty much, everything at midtown Honda was awesome. From the receptionist, and to everyone who was a part of the process. Everybody there is super friendly and just being at the dealership, everybody says hi and greets you. I love their environment!
I am very very very happy that I chose midtown Honda. I love my brand new car and I'm definitely telling my family and friends about them!

Worst place to buy a car from, bunch of crooks! My wife initially went there alone several weeks ago looking for a used Honda Odyssey. Dealt with a very nice salesperson who helped her find a van she liked. Went there with her the second time to help finalize the deal. After negotiating for a few hours, maximum discount they could give was $200...lol. Not being able to a put a deal together we decided to leave. Prior to leaving, we were introduced to the used car manager Peter Themelko. Not sure if he was actually the manager but who ever he was, what a jerk! He was dressed poorly, was loud, arrogant and a crook.....plus he reeked of alcohol. He had the nerve to also ask me if I smoked and if so to join him outside for a private talk. Upon joining him alone outside (my wife still inside talking to the salesperson), he stated if I were to take care of him personally, he could give me more discount. I know what he meant by this but I refused to do this kind of business. Disgusted by this whole ordeal, we left....and will never be returning.

Midtown Honda is our Go-To for cars. We bought 4 cars from Midtown so far, and we've been satisfied with the services we received from there. The one car we didn't buy from Midtown, ended up degrading in quality fast (learned our lesson there!)

Salesman Peter was amazing. Not pushy, down to earth, took care of us with the sale and post visits.

Their Shuttle service is so convenient and saves on waiting and Ubering costs. Shout out to Val and Vince. I enjoyed the rides from them, engaging in gentle conversations, and sometimes forgetting i have to get out because I enjoyed the company of them.

Konrad is the best. He helped us with oil change, connectivity issues, and else. He always is reliable and is very good with communication. Thank u for the Car washes Konrad! Rowena (?) helped us with coordinating Shuttle, and she is positive and so nice to speak to.

Their quality of staff and service is something to be reckoned with. Thanks Midtown for all that you have done for our family throughout the years.

Worst customer service one can ever experience , Manager don t take take calls , receptionists transferring to wrong department. Above all forced customers to take warranties on used cars even if they don t want to take .

I would give it 4 stars if they didn't keep bothering me to sell / trade-in my current vehicle.

I have been going to this dealership to deal with my airbag recalls (there have been a few). To keep a long story short, I received my vehicle back with the SRS (airbag light) on. Claiming that reason for the light had nothing to do with the recall, they ultimately fixed the problem at no charge to me.

I tried calling the Service desk for twenty minutes (4 times) in order for me to get a pick up from Wilson Subway station. No answer. I then called the sales department (which of course picked up) and left me on hold for five minutes , where I hung up. I gave up after 15 minutes and then had to train back to Yorkdale and walk in from there. I will say during that the past three days I was inundated with calls from their lease renewal team. (That was no problem for them). Look, don't offer this service if you can't execute.

Joseph is really good and is recommended, Dan the manager and sales manager are also good, make you feel right home. They listen to your issues and try to rectify it. The only time you might be happy shopping from this shop is when you buy a brand new car and never ever go there for any kind of service. you go to other Honda dealers.
The service is terrible.
They never ever answer calls. For simple things you need to spend lots of time and show up there to talk to them.
I usually do not complain and shy to talk about bad / poor services I see / experience but every time I was there I see other people complaining about same issue (No answer to calls) and they usually try their best to ignore your claim and issues and you end up getting nothing but some bullshit. Communication there is very poor in the whole system and that is management issue. I had too much headache dealing with the service. and people at service department.

Service department billed for 6.8 hours when the car was only serviced for 2 hours by a single mechanic. I have used the service department in the past and they have a history of overcharging and aggressively up-selling. I strongly recommend not using this dealership for service.

Update: I was told I would be receiving a refund with respect to a portion of the service, however, that remains outstanding. I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau which was unanswered. Extremely disappointing.

I was thoroughly pleased with the service provided at this dealership. My sales representative (Thomas) worked very hard within my budget to find the most affordable deal that best suited my driving needs (I'm a student with tuition fees and minimal - though fortunate - parental support). Having expressed that Thomas is a father, I was assured that he genuinely understood and cared about my financial difficulties, which meant that he has the customer's best interest in mind!

Having signed on a new 2020 Civic, I was given a thorough rundown of the vehicle's latest features by Roberto. His expertise and down-to-earth mentality made the learning process easy to understand. My financial documents were then handled by Josh, who humoured the often dull process of paperwork with witty remarks and the utmost patience. Lastly, I had the joy of meeting other team members as I navigated the dealership for complimentary coffee, socially distanced acquainting, and the ambience of warm smiles (Sam's smile from reception was particularly kind)!

I've read some of the other reviews concerning appointments and dissatisfied outcomes. I understand the frustrations that follow from delayed servicing, lack of immediate attention to one's concerns, and heightened emotions in general. With a grain of salt, many - if not all - dealerships experience appointment delays and concerns at some point once customer volumes are higher, which is only natural as this is not a small, family-run mechanic shop with a handful of return customers (though the atmosphere at Midtown Honda is certainly familial and they can expect a return from many customers if such customers had the experience I've had)!

If you've read this far, why not check the dealership out? If you're investing in a car, it only makes sense to shop around for the best deal anyways, and one can always check out other dealerships if they're unsatisfied. I'm quite confident you wouldn't be disappointed though!

I just purchased a used car from here and Margarita Vega was the sales consultant I dealt with. After reading the previous reviews on her I knew I had to call in and ask for her to schedule a test drive. I was looking for a luxury car and she was extremely knowledgable even though it was a non Honda car. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the reception and Margarita lit up the room when I sat down with her. She really made me comfortable throughout the whole process. I told her my numbers and she took her time to work with me. Even throwing in a few extras that I didn t even ask for! Her customer service is the best I ve seen so far out of all the dealers I visited in the area. She understood my wants and needs and exceeded them with her impeccable customer service and attention to details. I was able to get approved even with my bad credit. She kept constant communication after the deal was made to update me on the financing, delivery date, and any changes. She was very professional and gave mevpeace in mind knowing that I can get my car just in time for me returning to work. Remember folks she did all this during the Covid-19 Pandemic. With all the stress that many people are facing Margarita Vega went above and beyond! I will be definitely recommending her to my friends and family. This dealership is extremely lucky to have Margarita Vega as a sales rep! Gracias Margarita for getting me the luxury car I wanted below my budget!
