The hotel is well equipped and comfortable. We stayed in a room facing the back of universal studios Singapore so the view was not fantastic. Swimming pool is very small and odd shaped. You may want to try access the hard rock hotel swimming pool. Hotel Michael is ok but not as good as other hotels in the area.
Location is good. Accessible and a lot of things to do around
The rooms are nice Swimming pool and gym is awesome
No complaints. Everything was good, staff were friendly.
Nice staycation hotel. Wish could stay more than 1 day. Central location. Good set breakfast. Highly recommended.
Stickers for Qibla direction for each room are different, do not know how come it happens that we are on vacation with a family and booked 4 kmr, but in 4 km the direction of the Qibla is different
Needs a balcony. 3 people in the room rule can be extremely inflexible, needs to be reviewed for when there might be events in sentosa, where friends of guests place belongings in room itself and have issues bringing them out
Lovely staff, clean room, mediocre facilities (gym and pool), hot water lovely
Checked in at 130pm but room was not ready and was asked to return at 3pm to collect the key. When we arrived at 310pm, there were at least 10 persons in line. The Safe Entry officer Han Whee at the entrance took pity on me having to carry a baby and a toddler in tow and asked me to check if concierge could help retrieve the key. However, they refused. He then went to look for a manager (?), someone in black and purple uniform to seek help but was again rejected. This was despite the fact that my baby was hungry and crying loudly. Baby, toddler and i ended up waiting in line for over 30 min just for a 2 min process of claiming our key. Very poor first impression of hotel michael and would not recommend for families (amara is much better!). The only bright spot of the unhappy incident was Han Whee who tried to help and kept checking on the babies and I.
World class hotel with a great view of Sentosa and Singapore. Great food and located at the heart of Sentosa.
Rooms was nice. Desk staff were also very helpful. Pool could have been larger though as the pool was very cramped
Comfortable and very convenience, nearby Universal Studio, SEA Aquarium, Casino and Vivocity.
Tv not working on the first day checked in. Bedsheet is dirty, had to get it replaced. Some towels have a some kind of smell. Shower area gets flooded everytime you take a shower. Swimming pool is small, comparing with other hotels in Sentosa. Other that these, the hotel is ok.
The room at hotel Michael is pretty okay, amenities were pretty great with their soap and shampoo, but the toilet had quite a weird smell ( possibly detergent?), But letting the water run in the shower for like 15 minutes helped to alleviate it. So yeah the room was pretty comfortable I guess. The pool however, is disappointing. Don't expect the same as hard rock hotel's synthetic beach, because all you will get is a rather small pool. The saving grace of the hotel for me is it's close proximity to the attractions and restaurants. There are restaurants right downstairs at the lobby and the ones near the casino are pretty accessible through festive walk. I would definitely go back again, with better planning so I won't be trapped in the room due to wet weather, because the hotel room really doesn't offer much to do, other than a comfortable lodging space.
the hotel was very close to universal studios. we could see universal studios from the window
Good bed, not so good service. I returned to my room at 4pm and my room was not made. The fridge inside the room didn't work.
Nice hotel and convenient. Rooms were a bit dated. But still ok. Rooms were clean
Some level can smoke at the rooms causes the smoke go into my room cos below door got gap.
The hotel is in good location if you want to explore sentosa. Comfortable, quite, clean
Got free room given by the casino. It would have cost $300+ on normal days. Location is good and very close to the heart of RWS. Service is good, and I got to enjoy my weekends at Sentosa. It offers free parking if you are driving as well. I wish to thank Lian for the great customer service at the counter.
Had dinner at the Italian restaurant Fratelli and it was amazing. Pizzas there were to die for.
we have visited this hotel in October for a staycation. we enjoyed its location the room was spacious I liked the antique bath room . but it was smelly like I am in an old humid bathroom. there was no Wi-Fi connection. it was very poor that we couldn't connect. once I enter the hotel I smell humidity like it is not aerated.
Great location to access to all entertainment and food.
If during normal times theres even restaurant operates beyond midnight.
We booked the room with Genting points and is comfortable, artistic but because is a free room, sometimes the customer service just gave way.
Overall, is big, comfortable and worthit even if we pay the price. Hotel parking is free too.
Helpful and friendly staff. When check-in, they know Xavier is birthday on tmr so send a birthday cake for him
I like this hotel cause they have a good service and the location is good
just renovated the rooms. however the wifi was not working on my floor. the hotel is a walking distance to the casino as well.
Location wise is good although we stay just beside the track no tram sound was heard. However the service is bad, request for utensil we have to wait for 45min and call the front counter twice before someone brings up the utensil.
Secondly, the second call that i place took at least 5 min before someone pick it up. For the amount paid you would expect a better service.
Very clean! Can have more staffs working during peak check-in period
Told that check-in was at 3pm. arrived at 3pm and told that the wait to check in will be more than 1 hour?!? The lobby is filled with people waiting for more than an hour already.
Horrible horrible check-in process
Not as expected. Shower is sometimes hot and cold. Not really a 5 star. But a 4 star is pretty much accepted. Shower stepping is quite rough and have a dirty feeling in the crevices.
Wonderful night with my wife. Free upgrade to Suite... 80 square metres of chillaxing!
Excellent hospitality and great restaurant around it.
Covid19 causes so much distress n i guess stay-in for d long weekend wasn't value 4 money. Juz wait n see how long these safety measures will create more uneasiness to even move around without appreciating d wonders in universal studio, aquarium, greeneries in d southern sg. Very disturbed, it's already 7 months into the pandemic, this much was given to Singaporeans to enjoy but watch out for ambassadors who are still watching like hawks and they can now penalise those for not heeding to keep 1m apart in social distacing.
The staff are very friendly and responsive! They attend to your every needs and fast!
Decent sized rooms, fast and reliable customer service and room service. It is also right next to USS.
the service was terrible, the front desk gave us attitude and were not being honest with their guests
Lack of staff. Hard to get attention for any service.
Extremely poor service by the management team. Talked to the senior manager, enquiring about the check in status but he was impatient and very rude. The 1 star is for their good housekeepers, every other aspect of the hotel s service gets zero.
Very good, nice and the place near to Universal Studio and beach
Hotel location is great but the equipments and facilities in the rooms need a bit of fixing up. Rooms are a bit out dated.
(Safe Distancing Period) 1.5 hour check-in wait later, we entered the room with clean, hardwood floor. No dusty carpets . Alkaline water, TWG tea, branded toiletries rainshower and cable TV make a good stay. .
Slightly far to walk from carpark but you can walk through tunnel from right side of casino at B1 to shopping galleria and then to hotel lobby.
Pool is very small and uninspiring. Gym is ok. Both are not popular so no worries about going at the last minute.
Remember to get complementary parking coupon when you check out.
Clean and luxurious with a relaxed and inviting ambience. Enjoyed the Botero statues. There are quite a few restaurants nearby to choose from. I went to Tunglok Heen, and enjoyed the chinese food. Pricy but delicious.
Overall okay. This is a very basic family hotel for the price range it is in. What's great about it is it's location (proximity to shops and attractions) and clean, spacious, quiet rooms.
Much of everything else is rather average. When we were there, all service staff provided acceptable levels of service but weren't friendly. Check-in process was pretty cold, staff didn't really appear welcoming like they do in other 5/6 star hotels. They don't greet guests when they pass you in the corridors or lifts, or offer anything extra. Room amenities were basic as well, with no mini-bar. Fridge was empty and not sufficiently cold so we threw out the milk we stored in there.
Conveniently located in Resort World Sentosa.. one of the best hotels around the area. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Amenities are well maintained. And comfort room is neat and clean. Staff are very pleasant. You'll have a nice view if your room is in the higher floor.
This is one of the best choices if you re planing to visit all the attractions within the sentosa island such as Universal Studios and Adventure Cove Waterpark. The hotel is well maintained and rooms are very spacious. I can even hear the people screaming at the park from my room! The breakfast restaurant serves a wide range of food. The WiFi coverage is amazing, you are covered almost everywhere on the island. I enjoyed my stay.
Room was spacious and huge but there are certain areas that could be improved like some of their chairs
A 5 star hotel with an inaccessible balcony and no water bidet in the toilet :(.
Nice hotel and close to universal studio, sea world
For Sentosa, great location and also next to the casino. Easy to find for drivers even if they drop you off at the casino. Service was solid and rooms were comfortable.
Comfy room to stay in resorts world Sentosa SG. But the availability of the rooms are so hard to find especially in high seasons
Generally happy with the hotel but will highlight some areas that needs maintenance.
Booked 2 connecting double rooms for my family. One double room is actually enough for family of 4. Pool was fully booked (due to COVID measures) so staff got us the pool at Crockford towers instead! Well done! The towels in the rooms are not fluffy enough to be considered a 5 Star hotel though. WiFi is intermittent. Management should look into this aspect.
One window handle broken so can't open the window.
The rain showers water spray is not down but in all directions.
Small swimming pool but nicer than the one at Crockford towers. Pool shower room missing hook.
Nice hotel although a bit pricey. But covid-19 restrictions make it a nightmare to move around.
Clean and good service. Do visit to experience it. Highly recommended
Terrible hotel, avoid at all costs. Dirty, dirty, dirty. Management is terrible and doesn't even care.
I don't understand Hotel Michael consider a five stars hotel, but indeed the hotel standard like 2 stars hotel.Nothing special,I won't go back and spend my money to the hotel. It seem waste of money...
Clean rooms. Good friendly staff. Easy check in process. Well spaced toilets . Comfortable sleep and relaxing.
Called for a extra bed and cant even give a decent blanket (extra bed cost $70++)
Comfortable and relaxing place with decent views. Made youtube video on this too

Booked 2 nights at Hotel Michael staff were efficient and check-in was smooth... we were told that the check-out time was 1pm by the front desk and on check-out day we overslept and called in to ask if we could get a couple more minutes to pack up and was rudely replied with check out is at noon . The staff offered to extend it to 1:30pm but at 1pm the housekeeping staff barged into the room without knocking while I was in the midst of getting dressed something I find extremely shocking and unprofessional thankfully, the door was bolted at the time. For a hotel under RWS this is not a standard I find acceptable
We got a package deal of 3 days and 2 nights from Sentosa resorts and we chose to stay with Hotel Michael. Check-in was very smooth and staff is very courteous. I still remember a lady name Judy who helped us while check out and boarding our luggage in cab. She was standing till the time we left. She showed so much love to my little kid. Room size is quite big and bed is so comfortable. Bathroom is big and it was very clean. This was the best hotel of our 10 days stay in Singapore. As this is part of Sentosa World resorts, the location is good. Vivo city mall is just next station through mono rail. Lots of food options inside RWS. we enjoyed our stay in Hotel Michael alot and I personally recommend this hotel to everyone.
Hotel Michael - Singapore decent 05 Star hotel with big rooms as compared to other hotels in Singapore .... ideally located at Sentosa Island walking distance to Universal Studio and sea aquarium ... on check In at hotel they provided us FREE unlimited monorail tickets to explore the beautiful Sentosa Island ... all in all would recommend this Hotel . Excellent stay with casino in adjoining building for people who love gaming at casino
FANTASTIC SERVICE BY SENIOR MANAGER FRONT OFFICE ALEX CHONG
Came to hotel Michael for a staycation post circuit breaker. Despitr all the restrictions the front desk staff were very efficient in handling all guest check-ins and made it as easy as possible.
After checking into the room a small piece of glass on the floor hurt me and I was bleeding. Alex came immediately with a first aid kit and dressed my wound and got us upgraded to a suite as a gesture.
Next morning my husband had a bad fall while jogging around the Sentosa jogging tracks and was hurt badly. We met Alex in the lobby and mentioned to him we were taking my hubby to the clinic downstairs for wound dressing. When we returned to the room we were pleasantly surprised to see a basket of fruits from Alex with a nice note saying "hope you feel better soon". He called in the evening again to check how my husband felt. I think that's really 5STAR SERVICE STANDARD
clean and very close to universal studio , close to vivo city mall too
