Stayed there for 3 nights. Room is pretty big but there's a lack of electrical powerpoint. Sofas & mugs were pretty dirty - loads of stains and food crumbs. They should step up on the housekeeping. Bathroom is great thou.

Went there by foot and it took me around 25mins from harbourfront station! Although a little obscure but the room we were allocated to was cozy! Didn't had the chance to be served but overall it was still a pleasure experience:)))
Walao wait so long to check in, took more than 1 hour. And the staff at the gym on Sat afternoon didnt even inform that reservation is required. (cos max capacity is 5) Can't even use the next morning and have to check out.
Cannot fathom how they consider themselves 5 stars - asked for wine glasses, wine opener, ice and they said they don t provide any of that due to covid which made 0 sense & the rooms are so forgettable
Hotel Michael is an experience you will never forget. On the surface, things are great - location, style. Its flaws slowly reveal themselves when you try to make it home for a few nights.
1. Our room attendant did a poo in our bathroom 2. Cupboards, drawers, table - parts break off as you open them 3. Shower curtain smells with visible gunk along the bottom 4. Broken vanity mirror 5. Shower trap is completely loose 6. There's only 1 electrical socket 7. Dirty plates stay in the corridor for 2 days
It gets 2 stars from me for the comfortable and clean beds, and the friendly room attendants.
Got the handicap room as normal room is not available. Very spacious. Shower room has the foldable seat for shower which is perfect to shower for toddlers.
Attended the closed door event so commenting on the rooms and other services will not be fair. However, one point that I noticed was that the hotel reception is very small. Moreover if you are traveling first time to hotel from outside Sentosa there is no signage showing the direction. The only signage available if after the Sentosa payment gantry which you be avoided.
Hotel is located perfectly for people who want to enjoy Sentosa Island, however staff needs to be aware of location of various activities & attractions. We wasted time because of being misdirected by staff. Additionally I was leaving early morning and requested for packed breakfast but hotel staff forgot to get it packed for my family.
So we thought we give this a go after all the promotions and tie up with corporations was pretty attractive.
Checkin queue was >30min but it was well managed with queuing at the entrance and waiting area, followed by actual queue to checkin - after you have filled in the declaration form.
Official check in time is at 3pm. We arrived around 2pm. You have to make a booking to check in. When it was my turn, the staff told me sorry the non smoking extra large double room were all fully taken. Either I take twin beds or they can make an exception and allocate a smoking room with the extra large double bed. I thought this was a smoke free hotel?
When i tried to book, i found rates on third party app cheaper than rates published by hotel and asked if the hotel could match the rates. I was told to book using the third party site instead. This is weird, I mean don t you want the booking to be made direct with the hotel instead. So ok, nevermind, I booked with the third party app. Perhaps the reservations desk could learn a thing or two from the other hotels at the other side of Sentosa.
Room - had trouble with the smoke smell on the floor but we did not have much of a choice. Perhaps would be good to place air purifiers along the corridor? Apart from the smoke smell, the beds were comfortable, it s true you can get a decent sleep if you don t mind the smoke smell. The room opens up to a patio where you can access the pool. That was nice, I could air the room a little.
Cleanliness - pretty good.
I give 4 stars to the housekeeping staff, they were warm, friendly and genuine. Really appreciated that the lady serviced our room well.
Breakfast - so so. It was a set breakfast i think valued at $28 or so. Not great.
Free wifi for 2 devices. Not sure what you can do if you need more.
Michael Hotel Singapore location in Sentosa area Singapore as a complete entertainment center, starting from playing games for kids and teenagers and adults here, many interesting Instagram spots in this location. The hotel * 4 is really ok, enjoy your life.
Nice hotel. Clean and sizeable room. Great amenities spa conditioning shampoo, shower gel and even liquid hand soap! Smells fantastic and very moisturizing! Love this too!
I am writing this review based on Hotel Michael s 5 star status. Firstly, during check in there was a Long queue with over 10 groups and only 2 check in staff. Upon checking in at 3pm, the staff told us the room would not be available till 4pm. This is unacceptable for any hotel of 5 star status. This happened to other groups of guest that checked in with us and we were all left to loiter at the lobby with no staff offering any form of beverage or waiting lounge. Secondly, staff are generally unfriendly and would not greet us when walking down a corridor. They would avoid eye contact and look to the side. I do not expect this from a 5 star hotel. Thirdly, the gym equipment is in deplorable state, with 2 out of 3 treadmills broken and some weights missing.machinese were also not maintained properly . Fourthly, the room next to us ordered room service and placed the tray outside the tray was not cleared for over 12 hours such that there was a tangible odour if tartar and ketchup sauce. Even though I personally saw a few staff including Housekeeping walk pass the tray, it was not cleared. The only reason why it s. It 1 star is because the room is generally clean and acceptable. However, h otel Michael is grossly misrepresenting itself if it continues to present itself as a 5 star hotel. I recommend all guests who are paying to stay at other established 5 star hotels along the Orchard belt for the same price.
Hotel Michael is a very clean hotel. The air-conditioning can be adjusted up and down. The position of the hair dryer is set in the table. You need to turn the table over to be a mirror, which is convenient for blowing your hair. There are also 3 small sofa chairs with backrests, 2 It can be pushed under the table when not in use, and can be put under the table. The design is thoughtful and perfect, and customers will definitely like a hotel like Yan. It's great !
Checked in on 27th dec 2020. Waited in line for about 30mins just to check in at 12.45pm when there is 3 counters open. I dont think this is hotel standard whereby pax have to wait until 30mins in line. Usually the max time could only take up to 10 mins to check in a pax. Do note there was already 3 people at the counter and 4 people in line together with me waiting to check in. We got a twin bed room instead of double bed when we had already requested.When we got to our room 0630, one of the bedsheet smelled urine and it was so strong that i have difficulty sleeping. Please QC before handling over your rooms to guest. Lastly, the lady at the lift for guests doing safe entry check in at around 4pm+ on 27th dec was super rude and looking down on others. She assumed that i wasnt a guest there and just rudely say need ur ic . She treated as though i wasnt a paying guest there. Her attitude needs to be checked as this will certainly ruin the hotel s reputation. She is just a safe entry staff not a manager or general manager at the hotel. Would not recommend to stay here for staycaytion and pay over $300+ for a 5 star hotel but with such standard and old furnishing.
Arriving at the hotel, there are many interruptions from the side while I'm in the front desk It will be much slower to deal with the barter again and again.
It is late even if your turn comes
Other employees are kind but the reception is the worst.
We thought that room was clean, and was good and was good, but although we made water refilling bottle SGD20 of photograph, garbage floated, and the inside of the bottle was dirty and dangerous. Please watch carefully before drinking.
The quality of the hotel is not $ 600. Just location is good.
The room is wide, the view is very beautiful. Facilities ready In the room there is water, tea, coffee. With a maid to use Throughout the service is very good. I like here
Our first staycation at Hotel Michael was a mixed experience.Friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious room nice decor and good quality amenities, very convenient location close to Universal studio and the covered walking path made it much easier for us to roam around even when it was raining heavily. Because of COVID ,no room service ,lack of choices in set breakfast menu specially for vegetarians and time limitation for swimming pool Which was completely booked. Overall nice stay with few limitations due to COVID .
Stayed in room interconnecting rooms that allowed partial view of the USS in Aug 2020 and we could hear faint screams coming from the red/blue roller coasters if we stand on the balconies. The room was good and spacious and connected to the rest of the RWS. A good place to consider for overnight as part of the visit to USS/SEA aquarium. Will definitely stay here again for our next trip to Sentosa.
The hotel looked grand and appealing, I was looking forward to my stay there ( 17-19 May 2019). I was utterly disappointed with the room. 1. Hotel room at level 8, which I stayed, stink big time! Smelled like drain sewage the moment you open the room door. 2. some of the pillows smelled like oily scalp instead of fresh linen. 3. The shower curtain was old and mouldy plus shower area flooded each time we shower...
Overall was okay except for 1. The dinimg credit method is quite unclear and staff were not able to give correct answers 2)housekeeping not done well where used food containers left uncleared and floor was not cleaned.
Spacious and clean. Was assigned the handicap friendly room, which is similar to normal room except that the toilet cannot be locked and the amenities are more handicapped friendly. Not an issue for family stay. Would be good if there is some power socket at the bedside.
DO NOT BUY the package with foc universal studio studio because uss didn't open everyday and after you check in, ticket collected is ONLY 7 days from check in date. We go to Uss conter immediately but they are all fully book. Not only that , we had trying to book swimming pool slot the min we check in at 3.30pm, however we are told its fully book the whole day. the next day is only available for us to book on the next day 7am. we called in at 7am and they say its fully book cos some guest called midnite and they just help them book. We are so disappointed on their services. Pls DO NOT BOOK this hotel during this session.
The hotel is located at Sentosa Singapore. We enjoyed the stay because it is convenient to access to shopping mall, restaurants, and Universal Studio Singapore :D The room is cosy and clean, worth staying definitely! PS: there is TWG tea bag, my parents love it!
The basic rooms don't look as stunning as I thought as I had perception the interior was meant to look artistic. It is close to Universal theme park and shops. Service is not too bad. They provided a bottle of fine wine when we mentioned the trip is for our wedding anniversary.
the room given 4 stars because no telephone directory to call to lobby staff for queries and the phone was hanged in the toilet which is inconvenient that usually should design beside the bed.. Bathroom area quite small..
