Checked in at 130pm but room was not ready and was asked to return at 3pm to collect the key. When we arrived at 310pm, there were at least 10 persons in line. The Safe Entry officer Han Whee at the entrance took pity on me having to carry a baby and a toddler in tow and asked me to check if concierge could help retrieve the key. However, they refused. He then went to look for a manager (?), someone in black and purple uniform to seek help but was again rejected. This was despite the fact that my baby was hungry and crying loudly. Baby, toddler and i ended up waiting in line for over 30 min just for a 2 min process of claiming our key. Very poor first impression of hotel michael and would not recommend for families (amara is much better!).
