Came over cause it's a nights stay of a friend's. Lobby was amazing, reminded me a little of Macau. Shophouses were premium, giving an experience the likes of MBS.

Rooms were really spacious comparatively to prices of stays in Singapore.

The only draw back was that of the stench in the walkway carpets on my floor. That was the entire experience leading from the lift to the unit which really threw off the experience and surprisingly made a very big mark on the impressions and of the hotel. The smell was pretty choking to be honest. Smelt like wet rug that wasn't aired properly that somehow felt like it was leading the way personally to your room. Hehh. Interesting experience tbh. Of a hotel in Sentosa.

Surprisingly, on another good note, toilet ventilation was amazing.

Queue at check-in counter was less than expected at 3:30pm. However, the check-in process at the counter could be a lot faster if they remove too many hard paper processes. We booked for 2 twin bed deluxe room but the room was not ready. So, we took king bed deluxe room instead of waiting for another hour to get a room that we preferred.
Hotel room was big and felt too empty.
Bathroom was big and nice but without bathtub.

The swimming pool needs to reserved first, booking time slot for swimminv pool is not practical. When at the swimming pool some people may be swimming but not much but we are still not allowed it should be first come first serve instead some more it's so expensive yet the service is bad the wifi connection is also very bad.

Waited awfully long for check-in due to safe distancing measures for covid-19. (Approx 1 hour). Other than that the hotel staycay was pretty good. Biggest bed I've ever stayed on - it was so comfortable for 2 pax as there was alot of space. The room we stayed at happen to have the toilet flush spoiled... Service was good and they did try to fix it.

1.5 hours and still waiting at the lobby. Staff here all look like you owe them money. Not a single smile to be seen. Not an single apology for the wait. Queue for 1 hour to check in only to be told room is still not ready and will not be ready for another 30 mins. Heard other customers shouting for the manager to come and explain but no manager in sigh. 5 star hotel? What a joke.
Unlike other hotels that may engage in some form of service recovery like offering water or refreshments in the lobby, nothing was offered.
This place is a disgrace to sentosa and to Singapore. Will not recommend to anyone. And let's see if this hotel sees this review and contacts me for service recovery.

Service staff were very helpful from time of check in till departure. Some were even willing to go extra mile, eg, change from one room to another with a smile. Will definitely be returning if ever l planned staycation there.

I cannot emphasise enough that you're paying for a basic room and nothing else. No ice, cutlery and cups (only 2 paper cups which will not last the night) provided. The justification provided was that it's due to covid, which I'm assuming has somehow impacted their ability to wash things.

You'll be asked to book a check-in slot, which for me was at 3pm. Upon arriving, I was told that my room will only be available at 4pm unless I'm willing to take a smoking room. Could I have been informed of this earlier? Guess not. However, they did patronise me with a slightly later check-out so kudos to that, I guess.

The mini fridge in the room is also empty and not cold. I would highly recommend bringing your own ice and chiller box. If not, be prepared for a couple of trips to the nearest 7-11 and paying more than 2 bucks for a cup of ice. Definitely felt like an overpriced no frills camping trip!

Room was spacious and bed was comfortable.

Room was spacious and bed was comfortable.

Hotel was able to fulfill our wish for connecting room. One room wasn't ready even after 3pm.

Check-in would have took super long if we didn't use the manual check-in assisted by their staff there.

Due to Covid-19, on top of safe-entry and temperature taking, all are required to show a photo ID before entering the hotel lift lobby everytime. This makes entering your room such a hassel due to all these measures.

Their swimming pool is relatively small and they have a gymnasium there too. Both requires advance online booking though.

Everything was great! The room is excellent, bathroom is nice! The lift is always available because there are so many. The ambience is good but i would like it if like the hallways were scented with like lemon grass scent or something.

A one night staycation. Due to the Festive and Hardrock hotels being used as quarantine, this hotel was fully booked and it took us 1.5 hours to check in. Go early one hour to take a Q number to check in. Ask for late check out if u had a late check in. Unfortunately swimming pool only allows 15pax on hourly basis. We wouldn t book a swim as the timing we booked was spent waiting for the check in which took 1.5hours. The room was pleasant. I left my phone cable behind and emailed to hotel which replied nothing was reported found by housekeeping. 2 days later, hotel called to inform that they managed to recover the black cable. Pleasant surprise as I didn t expect to recover it.

Great place to chill at Sentosa with affordable prices. One of the cheapest hotel there. The staff are friendly too. Arranged a birthday celebration for my hubby and they prepared a complementary fruit plate for us. We ll definitely be back again!

Hotel Michael is also one of the 5-star hotels that is located around Resort World Sentosa and is a luxurious banquet for art lovers. The nuance of an art gallery in each room and its very strategic location with a center of activity at the resort will definitely make our holiday very enjoyable. Service is also friendly and satisfying.

The Hotel Michael in RWS is good. We have from 18.09. - 20.09.2019 spent two nights in room 1006. Positive, the rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The hectic environment and the loud ambient sounds of the various recreational opportunities until midnight were negative. The check-in took a felt eternity and the staff spoke in our case extremely bad English. A brief introduction or similar for the huge plant did not take place. The breakfast is offered in an Italian restaurant and was booked by us directly before departure. The ambience has station hall character, it is loud, hectic and crowded. Cheese is not offered, the scrambled eggs are tasteless, salt and pepper shakers (1 pair) walk across all tables and therefore not tangible. There is no coffee specialty machine, etc.

We stayed in our 10 day stay in Singapore in 4 different hotels, RWS Hotel Michael we would not book.

The staff was always helpful and friendly. Thank you for the lovingly prepared bed.

The hotel is nice and provide the basic requirements for a short stay.
Not a luxury hotel
The WiFi was a let down. Diffulty to log in with 2 different phones and when finally logged in was very erratic.
Would go off suddenly and difficult to log in again .
Most tourists to be found at waterfront area as the casino is there and has the most eateries.
The walkways needs to be completely covered up as when it rains it absolutely pours and can't walk through without getting wet why spend money on workers trying to sweep away the floods of rainwater spend money to cover the gaps in the roof.
Malaysian food street should be opened everyday and not closed for one day in the week.

From the Hotel Michael you can reach most attractions such as Universal Studios, Waterworld as well as restaurants, casino, arcades etc. in a few minutes. The beach is about 10 minutes walk away. To get into the city or directly to the largest shopping mall in Singapore, Vivo City, you can use the Sentosa Express (suspension railway), the stop of which is just around the corner. Check-in at the hotel is quite quick. The Deluxe Premium Suite was on the eleventh floor and the view was accordingly very nice. The premises were very clean and the room service was very thorough and brisk. When the hotel noticed that there was a different occasion, they decorated the bed very nicely.
Shou Liang, the hotel room service team did an excellent job. Christine (from the Hotel Crockford) at the Hotel Michael took care of us with special commitment and made our stay very comfortable. A hotel can be happy and appreciate to have such an employee. Overall, a great stay.

Furnishing:
Bathtub, free toiletries, shower + steam shower, bathrobe, toilet, slippers, hairdryer

Room facilities:
Minibar, air conditioning, safe, ironing facilities, iron, desk, TV, telephone, flat screen TV, cable channels, wake-up service / alarm clock, WiFi

I would recommend the hotel: yes
