Told that check-in was at 3pm. arrived at 3pm and ...

Told that check-in was at 3pm. arrived at 3pm and told that the wait to check in will be more than 1 hour?!? The lobby is filled with people waiting for more than an hour already.
Horrible horrible check-in process
