We stayed at the adjacent property, The Signature, but walked to the Grand for everything. I spent everyday at the lazy river and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It is very much an adult atmosphere. While there were kids there, it was not overrun with them, which I appreciated. I enjoyed being able to float in my tube with my frozen cocktail in my hand!

My wife and I stayed in a Grand Queen Suite. Wow the view was amazing of the mountains. We will definitely be staying here on our future trips! The staff was super nice and had no issues with our stay.
The casino is starting to feel a little dated. Was there last night (Friday) and maybe I was just sitting at a low traffic area but the service was horrible. Waitresses were passing by all the other tables and slots and anytime I asked for a drink they would all tell me my waitress was on the way. After 20 minutes I asked the pit boss if he could help and he tried but the still no one shows up. It took 40 minutes before I got a drink. In that time our dealer went on break and came back from drink before the drink showed up. Might just be that we didn t have a very service oriented waitress but nonetheless some of the worst service I ve seen in Vegas.
I'm not a big fan of Las Vegas in general, however the MGM hotel has done a good job of keeping hotel clean and orderly. I attended an event inside one of their clubs and it was a little overwhelming for someone my age, but at least the staff was very respectful and pleasant. I think the hotels and facilities in Las Vegas for learning a valuable lesson. Treat people with kindness and respect and you you'll get people who will tone down and become more come. This is a decent hotel to stay at
Hundreds of people from my company stayed at the MGM grand for our annual conference. They charged many of us fees that should not have been charged,($500 USD) although everything was paid for in advance by our company. The funny thing was, when I told them I won't be paying the money and mentioned my company name, the guy cancelled it straight away, but for the rest of my team, they went ahead to charge them. This is extremely dodgy. Do not want to give them our company's business again.
Small room, one small window, 10 minute walk to lobby, hot water for a shower took 5 minutes (we are in the desert, what a waste of resources). The only reason it gets one star: the food- l' atelier restaurant is amazing!
It was very nice to have time away from home with my girl I really enjoyed it. MGM staff was very helpful and friendly. It was my first time going. Love it if you've never been to Vegas everyone should go if the chance.see ya next year MGM .. VEGAS
I have to give a 5 star rating excellent hotel the staff is great the cleaning service is excellent the beds are so comfortable the hotel is legendary in Vegas I definitely recommend booking your Vegas vacation at the wonderful MGM
Learned how to play a couple of games thanks to some customers. The table managers are so nice with their customers, joking and conversating instead of being too serious when they dont have to be.
One of Vegas' best. What more can I say. Lots of walking if you're attendin a convention as was I. I think there was at least a gamblling spot for everyone.
HUGE... Can't get away from smoke when on gaming floor. Convention Center is a good 10 min walk (1,000 steps) from room towers. Food for 1,100 people was actually quite good at lunch. Breakfast was good except for the eggs... Rooms and staff are great!
Loved the gambling, loose slots. The room was nice except that on the second and third days we had no hot water in the sink or shower. I called engineering 3 times to hear they were working on it. When my wife checked out she told counter person the problem and was told that we should have notified them about the problem which I did. They argued that they had no record of complaints and dismissed the issue. Room was comp so I guess it really wasn't priority
The room on the 21st floor seemed like it was from the 70s. Our second night the person next to us fell asleep with the bathtub running and flooded our room and flooded every room below for six floors. The MGM wouldn't even comp our room offer dinner or anything. We had to waste 6 hours while they tried to suck the water out of the carpet & had to listen to the wet-dry vac's all night next door. & Our socks kept getting wet from the carpet.
A must visit for everyone wanting to stay on the strip! With friends or family, it has plenty to offer. The shows, the rooms, the casino and the variety of good restaurants - all in all a complete package. Will definitely be back for more.
Stayed in July. Bed sheets had blood stains, asked concierge to help change. Was late at night and they said no control over cleaning crew. Waited hours and not changed. Called up few times asked to be put to manager eventually and they said couldn't do anything so no point. Wouldn't transfer. Ruined the night got limited sleep. The hallways also smell like weed. Strongly do not recommend.
Beautiful resort hotel. The buffet was not as expected for the high price. Nothing special in the offerings, but what they had was prepared well, and tasted good. I would rather take my money to the Mirage, Paris, or Wynn.
Mgm is a nice hotel. Love the golden lion. I did not win a thing in the casino but it was fun. The place is not smokey. I would stay here again. It is in a very good location and has restaurants to choose from.
It's not the most upscale resort in Vegas but for the price, convenience, employees there I say it's worth it. I would recommend this place for sure. I enjoyed pool, pool party, clubs some restaurants. Restaurants aren't the top class nor the rooms are the most updated. It doesn't have a great view but it is close enough to everything I loved it. My boys and I had a great time.
Very poor customer service, managers and staff unfriendly, had a lot of issues while we were there, starting with check in giving us the wrong room. Definitely will be taking my money elsewhere! If you are coming here to have a good time with no hotel issues, go somewhere else! Also have to add, no room in fridge, if you touch anything in fridge or just lift it up to see what it is, you will get charged.
We stayed in a King Suite in the West Wing of the MGM Grand. The bonus is the bed was super comfortable, the room was clean, and it was way more quiet than I anticipated. Its located on the South Strip and has access to the monorail which was nice.
On the flip side, we waited around an hour and fifteen minutes just to check into our room. We tried the mobile app, but the app was not working. Also, the bathroom in the room was odd and offered little privacy so be sure you're close with whoever you are staying with. It does suck they didn't have fridge/microwave in the rooms, but it's Vegas. They have an ice machine at least! Also, the hotel didn't have many late night food options. It was midnight and only two places were open (but in the process of closing) but neither had gluten-free options so we would have to leave the hotel site just to get food.
I'm not expecting I'm going to receive this kind of service today due to an unannounced emergency water shutoff in the room where staying at MGM GRAND. I received an unsatisfactorily customer service from a receptionist name Frances which ruined my day more. I just want to clarify the complimentary buffet that we received to compensate for our lost time today due to the water shutoff. A different customer service lady told us that we get a complementary buffet "for a day", this was somewhat vauge for me which was why I wanted to clarify with the customer service desk. In turn I got yelled at by Frances for just a simple clarification, such a rude response for a customer service representative. With this service I will think twice coming back to MGM grand!
Really nice. Big room, Cali king bed. Super nice view. Everything was clean. A walk in shower. A hot tub in the room. Decent price. Lots of restaurants, a gym, slot mechines. The staff minded their own business 100% this place is great. I want to come back.
Staff is very helpful and friendly! Hotel is fairly clean, my only big complaint is the bathrooms and A/C in Grand Tower are very old and poor quality. We've also noticed the elevators need updated and overhauled.
I had bed bugs. The sheets were not clean. There was dried blood on them. We got switched from south tower to the north tower. The air conditioner wasn t working. Horrible experience. I will never stay there again.
Great hotel, only Problem i personally experienced is parking, not very accommodating with that situation. Rooms are spacious and comfortable microwave fridge in room. Bathroom is great! Location very close to the strip!! And airport!! I will for sure stay here in the future my sisters also loved it!!!
Nice hotel. Nothing too 'grand' about it and wouldn't rush to stay there agian.
Dont consider staying in this hotel if you are there to play, you might be verbally abused by the casino dealers who have no interest in doing their jobs with any respect.
lastly If customer service means anything to you then this is not the place for you. I dont think customer service is in their vocabulary.
This hotel was lovely and just fun when I came here in July of 2018. Even has David Copperfield here! Even he was amazing! One of the best hotels I have stayed at.
Beds were very old and uncomfortable. Front desk said all rooms have same beds. Offered to even change to a sister property. Dis not happen. Manager at Spa was not professional and would now allow a guest to obtain massage after being booked 36 hrs in advance. Said guest was not registered which was front desk fault. Offered to.pay with credit card and she was very dismissive. Would definitely not stay here again. Not the same quality as it was before.
This hotel is enormous. Takes forever to walk from one end to another for conferences, but has to a of options and handled an 8000 person conference pretty well (minus registration which was a nightmare). But all in all, good job hosting

Booked a flight and stay together. Was told how great the MGM was so decided to stay there. Was disappointed in how far away the room was from everything. My husband is a diabetic and needs his medicine refrigerated and the room did not come with one. Had to keep filling the ice bucket just for his meds to stay cold. Couldn't even have drinks in the room because they would get hot. Plus no tub in the room. All the walking you have to do and can't even relax in a hot tub. Pool closes at 8! Way to early. Would not stay there again very disappointed.
The casino is like the other casinos but the hotel is old, when you take a shower the water is in every where and you need to cross the entire casino to found you room or elevator that is no nice if you visit this place for work and you are tired maybe for the tourist is good
Overall good experience, lots of good choices and good minimum blackjack tables. Drink service while playing was the best around. Will definitely be back
