Went there to see the David Copperfield performance, did not stay at the hotel but walked through and it was beautiful. The Copperfield show was fantastic and highly entertaining and mesmerizing with very comfortable seating, individual tables with four seats per table and some booths. The bathrooms were impeccably clean.
Beautiful place with great restaurants and shows (KA)
We went over to the MGM for dinner at their buffet and were extremely disappointed. We then went back the next day to see "KA", one of the Cirque du Soleil shows there and although they had some great acrobats it was a bit slow and hard to follow. Several people fell asleep. I was one.... Maybe it just wasn't for me.
Very poor check in experience...you would have thought we were the first guests to ever arrive on an early flight. I can understand the room not being ready at 9:00am (although the six people that checked in in front of us at no problem) but It would have been nice to have some guidance from the front desk that we were going to have to haul our luggage through the lobby to the gym just to change clothes, then back to the bell desk to store luggage then back to the pool to kill time while our rooms were made ready...
Great service but check rooms first before you settled. Besides that its a great time.
They are taking the virus very serious. You could smell the bleach in the air which for me and my OCD was awesome!!!! Security was very serious about entering the hotel and elevators with mask on! I had no problems with the way MGM handled the seriousness of covid-19.
Awesome love the vibe, my daughter came to visit from California
It's the MGM, staff is always great and very helpful, always feels very lively. If you're looking for a penthouse suite theirs are really nice but I'd say Bellagio's are better. Shows are good as well but not the best on the strip. Location on the strip is perfect however. My favorite for gambling.
Room didn't even have a microwave, small fridge (that you can actually use) or a coffee maker! Staff are under trained. First and last time here.
The rooms need upgrading, for the amount you spend per night you d expect better.
Update August 2019: a large casino hotel conveniently located on the strip with lots of amenities. Rooms are clean, large and well kept and the staff is helpful and friendly. Room charges are not fully disclosed when booking. Be prepared to pay a daily resort fee, other fees and taxes.
Although they are doing their best, the place isn't covid ready and should be closed. The walls are so very thin, which makes it very hard to sleep. Food is also very expensive and not very good.
I enjoyed having lunch at Emeril's New Orleans Fish House.
MGM Grand is centrally located. We arrived only to find a long line of guests registering. The MGM Grand rooms are ample, clean, offering great service. The hotel had several night shows, and we selected to attend one.The room service was superb, as we chose to have breakfast delivered to our room. The pool is amazing. Highly recommend...A really great mix of casual scene, but offers all the fun you re looking for. Go high, go low enjoy the range here and check out the energy and variety!!! We were at MGM and found new areas often. If you don t want to walk long treks to your room be sure to book accordingly. We ll be back soon and the MGM is definitely on the must do list for us!
Just checked in. Wallpaper pealing in our room. Long black hair everywhere (we are both blonde). Half-emty bottle of booze in one of the drawers. Yet....there was a "freshly cleaned" sticker on our door jamb when we got here. Not impressed.
This casino has an entire mall inside.. Great shops!
Easy to get lost on the casino floor, even when signs are there to direct you, however great hotel and casino
Terrible experience, the hotel service is bad and expensive, the suits are dirty the same with the bathroom, I found female and male hairs in the beds and the bathroom. I asked for extra blankets and towels and never received them, The receptionists are very serious and do not know how to treat the client; especially a blonde girl with green eyes received me very arrogantly. I don't remember his name but he is 5.3ft tall. Another thing you need to pay for the parking 15 bucks the day.
Place is a good hotel but I didn't recieve a skyline view even though I payed for it. The place is huge but all bars are closed and most restaurants are too. They put us in the west wing which is the worst part of the hotel but overall it wasn't that bad. The food court was super pricey but what can you expect. A bottle of water was 12$
Staff is great. They're so friendly and helpful. Very nice hotel and beautiful rooms.
Older casino on the strip, lots of music pumping through loudspeakers, cigarette smoke and casino noise. There are still nice shows and tries to stay decent, but getting increasingly old by comparison to some newer offerings like Venetian, Wynn, etc
Regular (non app) check-in is eternal. Way too long. Hotel and casino are fairly nice. Pool acreage good. Restaurant selection good.
Great location..on the Vegas Strip and very near to Airport. Easy check in and check out process. Great rooms, but not all can have a good view :) (The room view in the pic shared is from 20th floor of 'Grand' wing) Not much free perks unlike expected ;) Very good restaurants and great pool, especially the 'Lazy river'. Good crowd and great casino. Free drinks/good service at the casino. A good stay overall.
What an awesome hotel, staff are great and its got good visitor facilities.
Shout out to Tamira, Ryan and Diana for helping us with the issues we had. Great customer service, super general and very professional.
The hotel has aged somewhat well since the 90s. While not as fancy as other places mid Strip, the MGM grand remains one of the nicest hotels on the south side of the Strip. The movie studio theme seems a bit dated and would perhaps be better updated. The pool remains one of the best on the strip.
Could be better for the price. Only one plug for phones on bedside table. We moved the chair and there was a (wine?) stain on the floor. Plenty of restaurants and a food court in the facility. Right on the Las Vegas strip. Very large and requires a lot of walking. You have to rent the refrigerator and if you even move anything on the snack and water tray you have to pay a restocking fee. You also have to pay for parking. Now really, if you are staying at their costly hotel at least they could provide parking for guests.
Wow! I would need to have a whole travel blog to describe this hotel! Many delicious restaurants, monorail access, luxurious rooms, theatre shows, personal amenities and all the gambling machines you could want to play! No wonder this hotel is famous!
Great hotel. Excellent location and lots of fun with the casino and those awesome shows.
The food and drink service at the pool is horrible. Our waitress Lori W is very rude. We asked her for lemons for out water 5 times and even after we left her a decent tip. We wont be coming back to stay at this hotel. Which is pretty sad cause this was my favorite hotel. My mom and her husband plays with alot of money here, too bad they wont be spending their time and money here any more.
The bathtubs in this hotel are better than anything else you came to Vegas for.
Clean, friendly and attentive staff, great machines and tables, slots seemed a little tight while I was there.
They have some great concert here and i enjoy the way the layout is, its not hard to leave after the concert is over.
had a blast wish they would match diamond status with Caesars
Only played in the casino. We got a few good payouts and the casino was clean. There also was a lot of cocktail waitresses walking around. We went on a Tuesday in the day so I would think it would normally bad payouts and hardly any waitresses. Was really happy.
Awesome resort. Loved the pool area. Rooms were nice and checkin was quick
Enjoyed the CSI Experience there. It was great and the casino was fun!
Didn't stay here but spent time all.week for training. The decor is beautiful.
Jabawakkees show was amazing. Got you into the vibe as soon as you entered the theater. Casino kind of dark in need of some major renovations. The Wolfgang Puck restaurant was amazing. My wife and I are big pasta fans, and we both say that it was some of the best pasta we have had anywhere.
Definitely Grand. Boy it was hopping and busy. Latin music night was great
Charges for small fridge $35 per night for someone's diabetic insulin where other hotels don't if it's for medically needed.
Great place to experience everything Vegas has to offer under one roof! They have it all! Highly recommended
Always been awesome. Just cleaner and less people. Love it.
MGM hotel parking option is great. You can go to any Hotel when you a parking option with them!! Awesome stuff
Wonderful day and wonderful place to stay and enjoy for relax, excellent service and great staff, I can recommend
The room service, hotel rooms, and staff make you forget where it's situated on the Strip. Although it's at the very beginning of the strip and the walks can be long, they pamper you here.
Definitely one of the nicest on the strip. I does get extremely crowded at night. It is also very smoky.
It's a tired hotel that gauges on the parking. They have no shame
Obviously this is a high end place, but they didn t let me in with my classy fedora which always comes even with my business attire. They asked me to check that in due to their dress code. However, I expected the rules to be for everyone, but when I stepped in I saw different people with caps and beanies on! I couldn t help myself and asked them how they got in, one told me he simply tipped the guard and the other one refused to answer. If there is a dress code it should be for all, and tipping in the guard to let you in should not be something that happens in a place like this.
Extremely understaffed, took me 45 minutes just to get checked in and there were only 40 people in line. It's a massive resort but they only have three people working check in during the evening.
Our room was in oldest part of hotel that was run down. Long walk down hallway to elevator. Our view was a wall, there was no coffee, refrigerator etc...When we tried to use the stairway, we were led to a rooftop, with no way to get back inside as the doors locked. Brought this to the attention of security, who said just walk down the hallway. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was dirty. The price of the room was higher compared to other comparable hotels. When playing the slots, there was a massive computer issue and we had to wait a long time to get cashed out. So far, not a pleasant experience
On arrival, we decided to upgraded our room which turned out to be fabulous. We were in room 118 on the 10th floor in the tower wing and watched the sun rise at 5am every morning through the enormous wall to wall and floor to ceiling window. Our house keeper Maria was exceptional every day. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel.
Nice time. You have to wear your mask. Machines and tables very tight. But, that was expected since Vegas was closed for so long. No shows. Strip about 60% open.
Very modern and luxurious feel hotel. Giving it 1 less star because there's not much to do in the hotel except gamble, drink, or club. I don't drink so that doesnt help me. Also if you want a snack at night not much options for food and to get to the food is a bit of a trek.
I had a blast. There's so much to do and see. Even if you aren't interested in casinos you are guaranteed to be entertained. I can't wait to go back
Plenty to keep busy here. Don't miss the lazy river and catch at least one Cirque show. Beware of the resort fee.
Went to Bocelli concert there. They don't know how to handle getting the audience in and out. It was horrible. The concert started 30 minutes late because people were still trying to get in. Getting out was just as big a bottle neck.
Everything was great until my late check out that I paid for was interrupted 3 times by staff. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars
Average casino and I went to the Level Up Bar to do something other than gambling and three machines are my dollar. Games were also lack luster
Nice place, we didn't stay here but visited the shows here
It's one of my favorite places that I go to play poker and have fun with my friends and it's just very well done beautiful place I would definitely recommend it
I had an awesome stay at MGM Grand. Super comfortable beds - perfect stiffness, large choice of TV shows, and they have something in their shower head that looks orange, I don t know what it is, but I enjoyed my bathing experience.
Room service was delicious, room was nice and very clean
The people are awesome especially Marrissa M. at Conceierge she helped us on many occasions during our 5 day stay.THANK You All
So much to do here in MGM! Highly recommended!!
Always great ! The staff is amazing from the time you drive up tell you leave.
David Cooperfield was a bit slow, but still great magic.
The rooms were nice the casino was fun but all of the casino workers were extra rude not just the workers at the tables but also the waitresses staff in general was really really rude here
Very friendly concierge and front desk staff. The casino was a big draw for us and did not disappoint. Rooms in the North Tower could do with a reno but we pretty much only slept there so it wasn't a huge deal.
We only stay for one night. The whole overall experience is good. We felt safe with the cleaned room indicator when we checked in. There is a complimentary purell hand sanitizer 2 masks and 2 metal door thingy if you don't want to touch any surface of the door. We spent an hour on the lazy river. The staffs are making sure its not over capacity with new covid 19 measure. Keep in mind call ahead for any restaurant that you want to visit. At least in the week that I visited, they are all closed within the resort except for food court.
Never a bad stay here, easy to get in and out. Easy access to the strip.
I love this place. They treat you like Royalty! The Best Staff Ever! I can't wait to return. To All please Stay Safe!
The staff was amazing the drinks was flowing all in all a great time
I didn't stay at the Hotel but all the other amenities were great. The restaurant's were fabulous. The conference I was attending was great. Hope to be back next year.
Enjoyed myself a lot but didn't win anything in the slotmachines
MGM is unbelievable. You can't go wrong with any of the MGM properties. Join the players club. They take care of their loyal customer.
The casino was good. The first room they put us in smelled of marijuana, we immediately walked out and back to the front desk. They we're very helpful and put us in a new room in the grand tower. The bed wasn't very comfortable, our room was facing the airport, it was quite loud at all hours. The shower apparently only had really hot water, there was no warm or cold water.
It's always home here!! The greatest place to stay and the only place we go while in vegas!!
Rooms here are above average and the bed was comfortable. Monorail begins here and is convenient for getting around. Casino is expansive with a good variety of games. Dining options range from casual to upscale. Location is south on the strip. Many other attractions are some distance away.
For the price that was charged and some of the amenities in room, such as coffee maker, did not care for the MGM GRAND, would not stay again.
I stayed in West Wing Tower. It was pathetic, rooms were very outdated, nothing was good about that. Resort is okay didn't use it since I was on business trip, but it looked very ordinary. They are good conference hosting capability. I will not stay there if I go back to Vegas, rather I will go inside the strip if I have to pay so much or stay away from strip with lower rate options.
Hotel is beautiful, stay away from the buffet unless you have zero taste buds and love to waste money
Absolutely had a wonderful time here! Entertainment and gambling, bars and shows plus more! All in all a great spot to enjoy yourself.
Found new areas of MGM Grand. More exploring on the next visit.
There are hotels down the strip that is much better than this one. I've been to this hotel twice and nothing amazing. It's a good hotel, but don't expect anything with a "Wow" factor. Good choices of food though which I factored in my rating as well.
Very nicy place....love coming there. Good restaurants, nice foods. Staff is very friendly. Only the long walk from the parking garage is a downside plus the smell of smoke in the casino
