Could have been four or five star without glitches. Tries to be too fancy. Automatic blinds stopped working. Had to call two different times to get someone to come fix. Tech said common issue and they are having to replace with regular pull chain blinds as they actually work. Safe did not work either. Issue with lights, etc. Pool complex is awesome.

Going to Vegas during a pandemic will leave you starving for things to do in a city that normally has so much going on, it will take several trips to do it all. We went to Top Golf and I must say it was pretty cool. I have never swung a golf club other than during miniature golf. Actually, I think golf is boring as hell. However, if you want to eat, drink, chill with your friends and whack the shyt out of a little ball for hours, this is your joint.

This hotel has gone way down hill in the 10 years since I was last there. They had to move us rooms because the first one had blinds busted/hanging and broken lamps. The second room, the bathroom light was shorted out and didnt work, and the shower leaked water everywhere. After being moved to another junk room and seeing how badly the casino has gone down, we canceled the rest of our stay and moved to a new resort. Dont waste your hard earned money at the MGM, there are a million better options.

Stayed here for CES and really enjoyed it. The hotel feels very up to date. The bed and other furnishings were comfortable and clean. Everything in the room worked as expected and the housekeeping did a great job every day. The casino floor was equally pleasant, with great service and a very updated feel. There's so many restaurants and so much entertainment inside the resort that you don't really have to leave to have a good night. Would definitely stay here again.

Love the hotel and casino! The staff are all awesome but their beds are a deal killer. One of the worst mattresses I've slept on; the staff tried to fix it with mattress pads but it was still uncomfortable. Overall still a great place.

Super close to the monorail, great taxi options. Plenty of amenities, could really never even leave the hotel if you wanted. So many restaurants and shops on the premises. Rooms are clean and nice. Would stay again.

Pros:

Pros:
Convenient location. Clean room and comfortable bed.

Cons:
Still can hear street noise. If you like quiet when sleep, you shall ask for room opposite of the street.
I have lost a book in the hotel room. I feel intrusion and insecure. I called the front desk. But my call was transferred from security and lost found multiple times. It seems nobody really care and all I can feel is indifference. Special thanks to lady Dell in front desk who I called the second time. She was polite and caring. I hope they will find my book and send it back to me.

First time in Vegas today and I walked though here I was expecting some elaborate work up of film and television motifs and such but was pretty disappointed. This place could definitely use a renovation because this building has not aged well.

I expected to be wowed, I hear of it often but was disappointed. I hear their shows are good and I didn't get to round back to try their adult game room. No list there or reminded me a low end Dave and Busters/Game Room. I wanted to go for something a little different and laid back anyways before we left Las Vegas. Instead we went to see Absinthe, at Caesars.

MGM Grand was a pretty fun place to stay at. This was the first hotel I've seen in the strip that had actual working self check in machines. The rooms were alright as well. We didn't have a good view in our room but that's okay. MGM Grand has the best outdoor park in the Vegas Strip. I can't believe that they purchased the Burning Man Bliss dancer as a permanent art structure. The only problem is that there is no good Buffet here.

Rooms were nice sized and comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The check in agent couldn't get us an upgrade for our anniversary because they were at capacity, but she gave us room credit to buy some goodies to snack on. The Corner Cakes bakery had amazing cakes, probably the best ever had. MGM is close to the airport and was a short ride to and from. A+

Had a few issues with the one bedroom tower suite with blinds opening up automatically at 630am. The MGM Management made it right and we were satisfied with the solution offered.
Two thumbs up!

The interior is honestly very run down, old stained carpets and wallpaper coming off the walls in the hotel areas. Be prepared to pay double what your room rate is at check in, smell smoke and booze everywhere and walk for miles while paying 6 dollars for a bottle of water. The showers are amazing though.

Great for bachelor parties at a bargain. Some rooms are a hair outdated but sufficient for visitors who aren't going to stay in the room a ton. The food court is a nice touch for those looking for slightly lighter faster fair.

The casino was very clean and tidy, although it was quite surreal walking through with it being so dead. The show we planned on attending, (Jabbawockeez), and had walked all the way from The Cosmopolitan to attend was canceled without us being notified. That aspect was quite frustrating, but regardless, the visit was pleasant.

The hotel looks beautiful but looks can be deceiving, I stayed in a tower suite and sweet is was not. We asked for small refrigerator to put drinks and snacks in and they wanted to charge me $35 a day. We ordered room service and was told that our food would be delivered in plastic carryout containers not dishes and bowls as you would expect in a GRAND hotel, the restaurant that we liked the best was closed two of the days that we were there. We asked if we could get a "complementary " room upgrade as I was here to celebrate my birthday and was told that by me being in the suite that I had there was no upgrade from there but that they would put me on a higher floor with a "BETTER" view we ended up on the 22nd floor in the west tower with a view of the rooftop of their parking garage, I expected more for $400 a night.

I am a diabetic using insulin, ask for a refrigerator to keep my insulin cold. I was advised they now charge $35.00 for refrigerator. Poor customer relationship. Will not stay at another MGM properties. I am in Las Vegas several time a year. Lost my loyalty and money

Pool was not at all social distanced and the one that was, people weren t allowed to swim in it. Lazy river was closed, which is the only reason we booked the hotel, even though they told us it was open.

We got an upgraded room and it was wonderful. High end furniture, kitchen and bedroom. Extremely comfortable to stay and a great view from the higher rooms balcony's. I highly recommend. Walking to the main strip took about 7 minutes and didn't seem to bad as there was usually other visitors walking up and down the street also.
That said, it would be a little sketchy if you are a single person wanting to walk back to the hotel from the strip late at night by yourself.

MGM is a great place to stay! Access to the monorail out front on the strip, can take you all the way down to the fat end. I have stayed here 2 time's, once in 2010 and once in 2017, I have also stayed at several other hotels on the strip. Great restaurants to eat at, but cheep and fancy. Decent location on the strip, not bad prices for hotel stays either. The gaming floor is big!!!

Highly recommend eating at wolf gang puck. Crew is legit and food/drinks are made from fresh ingredients. Thanks andrew, matty and crew for making me feel Welcome. They treat honor vets here too so that is a pluss.

They quoted one price on the phone then doubled it when we came and wanted an astounding 800$ deposit on the room. We will NEVER stay here again. Bait and switch on a holiday no less. Better off staying at motel 6.

Horrible stay. Found someone elses luggage right outside my door and the front desk said "expect the least from the hotel". My son dropped some food and the staff that saw just stared and didn't respond while i asked for cleaning supplies. After what felt like an eternity, they finally said well get someone to clean that while other people kept tripping over it and getting their nice shoes all covered in food. The desk wasn't wiped down and we had people loitering in the hallway for over an hour making noise keeping my little boy up.

Expected more ..pool only at 1/2 capacity had to be on a waiting list outrageous prices since covid hit 23 dollars for a hamburger?? Slots just take ur money and mini bar prices were ridiculous 11.00 for a can of soda don't open the fridge or they charge 50.00 even if you dont touch anything, you have to pay an addition 35 for a mini fridge for a day.. bed was nice but other then that it was overpriced
