Myself and my wife just recently bought our car from Mercedes-Benz of Reno and there people are really friendly we had our issues with the car itself but the general manager and the sales associates are taking good care of the car making sure that everything it's in working condition I really recommend people to stop by if you're in the market for a new car and see their inventory.

This review has 2 parts, one is great the other is not. First, needed some info on a vehicle that I was not purchasing from this dealership. The inside staff was amazing, so helpful, went out of there way. Answered all of my questions, pulled info on the vehicle I was getting, showed me paint samples. I can't say enough how helpful this inside staff was, I was really impressed and I tell many people about my experience. Now the second part, the service department, not so good. Once I got the vehicle it needed some simple brake and alignment work. The communication with the service department was awful, multiple emails and voice messages had to be left multiple times a day from myself and from the out of state dealer that I purchased the vehicle from. Many times our calls where not returned which was frustrating. One of the staff members was very rude and curt with myself and the other dealer. I realize that I did not purchase the vehicle from them but I did want them to do ALL the service on it, which still puts money in their pockets. I however will NOT be taking them the vehicle for any repair and upkeep in the future. Amazing how you can go from having such a positive experience to a negative one so quickly.
Mercedes was quick to sell me a used Honda Pilot telling me how everything had been overlooked and was safe for driving as I was shopping for a mommy car as I was expecting. They told me how great of condition the car was in as it was own by an older lady that barley drove. I bought this car in July 2018 by August I was unable to drive it for a month as the car caught fire and needed a whole new wire harness. Next the electrical messed up and I needed to fix that to have headlights. Now my car is in the shop again needing a new catalytic converter, power steering restored and the heating and air needs to be fixed. That s a lot of issues for one car that I was informed had been looked over and was safe for driving. Three of the issues the car is having including the wire harness I m being told is because an animal most likely got into the car and chewed things up prior to me ever buying the car. If a car was thoroughly looked over wouldn t you think that would have been caught. Mercedes always made me feel like an inconvenience and that my purchase was not of importance to them. I m beyond disappointed in my purchase my experience and the staff at Mercedes.
This is the second car I bought from this dealership within 6 mos., and both times they far exceeded what I expected. Shopping for a car is with them is a pleasure. Prices are clearly marked and their relaxed, no pressure approach makes this dealership stand out as a truly enjoyable experience. Thank you i will be back for my next car purchase.
We had our car aligned at Mercedes- Benz of Reno and received prompt, professional service. Brandon did an outstanding job explaining all that was involved and the car was ready as promised. Well done.
I purchased a CLS63s AMG. Car does not meet by far as advertised performance specifications and MB Reno will not fix it. Now considering legal action. Matter has been delayed for 4 months with comments like "well the factory is going to send a new board", etc. NO action! Just excuses.
If you are ever in this area and need your Mercedes serviced or detailed, Mercedes Benz of Reno's service department is your stop. Service advisor Antonio Morales went above and beyond to make sure that I walked out of there happy with my service and detail. I won't use anyone else for the service of my new Mercedes! Thank you Antonio!!
Our second purchase at this dealership with our salesman Jim O'Brien. We have always been treated greatly by their knowledge of the product and experience. Gerard Sixta our service representative has also been very helpful for service related items. We will work with the dealership in the future.
I had an awful experience at this dealership. I brought my car in for it's yearly service. It took a day longer than was stated. When I came to pick up the car I was told I needed 4 new tires. When I questioned this due to the low number of miles I put on my car each year, I was told that the tires must not have been properly aligned. I asked why this was never mentioned to me on my previous 2 visits and wasn't really given an answer. I was told that the service manager would call me, which never happened. My service rep also said she'd call me with prices on tires, again no return call. I went to the dealership and paid more because I believed I was getting quality service. Clearly this was not the case. I will not be returning. I bought my new tires from Big O and saved a lot of money. I will not return for service and I will not buy another Mercedes from this dealership.
I went in to Mercedes-Benz of Reno to look at a used Volvo S60. It wasn't too long until I was greeted by the salesman, Bernard Jourdain. He was easy-going, very polite, and really knew his stuff. We chatted for a few minutes, I gave him my license, he got the keys and we took the thing for a spin. After that we went in to talk numbers, but there no pressure whatsoever.
I wasn't necessarily intending to buy the car right then and there, but as I said, there was no pressure and these guys really made the process easy. I was impressed with the mannerisms and knowledge of all the staff members I encountered including Bernard, and the finance manager, Nick. Everyone was very nice too.
As far as the car is concerned. It's a quality vehicle that came with a detailed inspection report and carfax. I could see what was checked and the maintenance that was completed prior to it being put up for sale. I did also see the KBB print out, which had the car valued at more than $2000 less than what I paid. I am not sure if that was private party value or retail--perhaps I misread it. I still feel that I got a good deal all said and done for a one-owner Volvo with a service history.
In any case, this was a very pleasant experience. I would recommend these guys (and ladies) to friends and family and would certainly consider buying here again before looking elsewhere!
I have been driving Mercedes since my first one, a 300D Turbodiesel in 1984. Since 1984 I have owned about 12 Mercedes and had service at at least 10 different MB dealers. I just left MB of Reno after a complete checkup of my 2014 ML 350 Bluetec. I can honestly say that Kearny Woo gave the best service I have ever had at a MB dealer in 34 years of driving Mercedes Benz automobiles. He is fantastic!!! Unbelievably superb customer service!!!
Jonathan had great customer service and he exceeded what we expected he was very detailed with everything he was explaining and to the rest of the team always with a smile on there face showing that location had great presence I wouldn t think twice when looking for another vehicle going to you guys and thanks to Jonathan for that great experience once again.
Jackie and I really enjoy our new GLA 250. Its a great size for us, packed with very useful options. One important feature for us was the higher clearance the car offers since we live in a snowy region. We enjoyed our buying experience and highly recommend Jim O'Brien if you are looking to purchase a Mercedes in Reno, NV.
Best dealership to work with, if your looking for a fine and elegant car go to MB of Reno and look for Eric Wuerflein, David Rowe and Jim Obrien, These are the people who helped me get my CPO C300 4MATIC. Thank you so much guys.
After a minor mix up on parts for a recall resulting in me having to rebook my appointment, James Dugan made things right by installing new wiper blades on my car for no charge. Nice touch James. Little things go a long way and win customers for life. Well done!
We almost bought a BMW but the salesman were horrible so we stopped by Mercedes and had a great experience. Ken Payne and the whole staff are great and got us the exact Mercedes we wanted. They will bend over backwards for you and make sure you are happy.
We had to schedule an emergency repair due to some roadway debris puncturing a radiator. MBZ of Reno got us in right away and completed the repairs, as well as a major service due shortly. While not cheap by any means, the quality of work was excellent. This GLK250 diesel has been one of the very best vehicles we have owned in 40 years. The dealership staff are friendly, professional, and responsive to inquiries. Highly recommend.
We were very pleased with our experience and the outcome of our visit to Mercedes of Reno. David Rowe was our sales person and was an excellent guide and information source in helping us come to a great decision -- our new GLE 350.
I took advantage of an offer to have a complementary multi point inspection car wash performed on my car. Service was timely and all employees were friendly and courteous. Comprehensive report received and no pressure to purchase any services. Overall great experience. I have used this service department for several years and recommend it to anyone.
Superb Service , exemplary courtesy of staff. Unfortunately I purchased a certified car with a hidden serious front end accident. MERCEDES ITSELF DID NOT COME UP TO THE DEALERS' STANDARD. IT TOOK EIGHT MONTHS TO REPLACE A CRACKED WINDSHIELD. NEITHER DID THE REMOTE DOOR OPENING TEL. NUMBER WORK. BUT, I LOVE THE CARS AND THE SERVICE YOU PROVIDE
The sales staff are friendly, very helpful and efficient. Our purchase of a new Sprinter Van went smoothly and we are pleased given it has been only two weeks and 400 miles!
I have been a long time customer of MB of Reno and purchased several vehicles from them. I have sent several friends there who had purchased vehicles from them. Their repair service is second to none. Their sale staff will take care of you. If you should happen to have any sales issues that require follow-up, forget it! Their sales management is only interested in hearing from you if everything is going great. If you are experiencing issues, you can forget about hearing from them again. I had a situation that required some followup, the sales manager strung me along for two months (and counting) after I left him multiple emails and even visited the shop 4 times and never actually catching him (a one way trip from home takes me an hour). I explained my situation to several people, still no response. I now would have a difficult time recommending them for any future sales.
Good service. I was traveling and needed immediate service, and I was able to get in. They are also open (service dept) on Saturday! Unfortunately, my vehicle was not fixed as the check engine light for same issue came on in 700 miles.
Jarett who i do most of my business with goes above and beyond. He calls to double check to make sure everything is still golden and is attentive in all areas of his work. I have been doing business there for 12 years counting. Jarett and a few other original staff members make it relaxing and an amazing buying experience. So give them a raise if you have done so yet. Thank you. Dominic B.
I have had my GLC 300 for over four years and just had its 50k service. When I have brought my car in Jarett Burrow has always taken great care if me. He lessens to my input and make sure that all possible issues with my car are reviewed and handle correctly. I will continue to go to Mercedes-Benz of Reno because of the complete and profession care I receive from Jarett and his team.
Excellent service!!. Sales persons are very friendly. Especially Mr.Payne, He explained me each and every benefit and features of vehicle. I purchased 2015 ML 350 from Autonation (MBRENO). James from finance, he is very good person and he helped me a lot during the finance process. He explained very clearly about all benefits about extended warranty.
The Service Tech Jarett always kept me informed of the issue I had with my RV/Sprinter. He assesd the issue and offered a simple solution. I had to have the rig towed and he even called when it arrived to let me know he had it. Outstanding service !
Kwanny Woo, service director handled my case personally and took great care of me. The repair was done quickly, correctly and right on budget with the estimate. Great service!
My sales agent was Alfredo and he was super friendly, professional and helpful. I will definitely recommend him and this dealership for anyone looking to buy a Mercedes.
Fantastic experience. This is our first Mercedes and was a big deal for us. The service was great and I have nothing bad to say. I highly recommend this dealership.
Jaret at the dealership was very patient with me and did a great job explaining how mercedes cars work as I never owned one before. He kept me in the loop of what was going on with my car and as soon as it was ready, I got notified. When I got there with my daughter to pick up my vehicle, we both received personal level attention and left very satisfied with the customer service Jaret and the dealership provided. They did a great job on servicing my car and taking care of us!
The pressure in the tires of my Mercedes is supposed to be 38 front tires, 44 rear, a differential of 6 PSI. I had a 10,000 miles service yesterday for $330. When I picked up the vehicle, the pressure was 38/42 front, 40/40 in the rear. I returned after driving two blocks and asked the pressure be corrected. They brought the car back to me and the pressure was now 40/41 and 43/43 rear, a difference of only 3/2 PSI! I gave up and left. I no longer have any confidence that MB of Reno performed any of the service components they claim to perform.
Starting to enjoy the Benz we just bought. Our experience with Nicholas Dasilva made a big difference in making us decide which car we will buy after we went to other dealerships for comparison purposes. You can consider Nick , Javier and Paulo as assets to your company. All of them Showed us their professionalism and truly was a big help in the process. Thank you.
Customer service staff friendly and helpful. Scheduled appointment on line and they were expecting me. When a shuttle ride proved impractical (it was a Saturday) I was provided a loaner vehicle. My service department experiences have been first rate. Thank you.
For someone who believes in you get what you pay for, I walked away from this experience feeling screwed over. I will never be back. $50 for less than a gallon of Def fluid? $10.50 to top off washer fluid? Too much too list, not worth my time.. I'll drive 500 miles past this dealer for my next service
We brought our car in for a service and upon entering the service department were immediately greeted and taken care of. We were gives loaner car and once our car was done, the service adviser called us to let us know. Great service. Highly recommended.
I had a great experience with this dealership. My car was serviced quickly while I waited in the very comfortable waiting area. Jarett Burrows was very responsive in making sure my problems were taken care of promptly. I really appreciated the awesome customer service.
Sales experience was actually good. Finance failed to disclose certain terms of the prepaid maintenance, like that it can't be canceled or refunded. Just a material error of $2150... which is a total rip off. Now, a week and a half later, the car sounds like it's shaking apart on cold mornings and squeaks, rattle and clunks. ECO mode shutters when it shuts off the engine and when it restarts... now I know why the salesman put it in Sport+ mode for the test drive... ECO doesn't work in S+. Of course, you have to manually select everything every time you start the car as the technology thinks it's smarter than you are. Mercedes just isn't what it used to be. Won't be keeping the car long, thankfully it's CPO and was relatively cheap.. the financial hit won't be that big. Never again M-B ... overpriced, and not over engineered anymore. Sad learning experience...
Updated 1/14/2020 - took car for service appointment scheduled 10 days in advance. Service advisor Omar seemed unsure what if anything could be done or how long it might take.... Sales and "Concierge" had informed me that an update to COMAND/Infotainment system required to make certain features advertised (mbrace) actually work and navigation maps seriously out of date... didn't even know there were updated maps. Left without service, ZERO confidence in the ability of this dealership to get it right.... This place just goes from bad to worse.
Made a second appt for service after being assured they could/would get the work done.... stupid me. Had the car for half a day... no idea what to update for COMAND... updated navigation map (advertised as free for 3 years) for $200 in labor... Liars, scoundrels and I've truly learned my lesson. My experience isn't an isolated event... it's a pattern of bad business.DONE. Really wish there were negative stars. I'd rate as -10. To be fair... service writer and cashier were very friendly and apologetic... but the company is horrible. I will never visit another AutoNation dealership and will now drive 150 miles to the next nearest dealership for service until I can unload this car.
Quality of service was excellent as ever. They were very busy, however; appointment notwithstanding, it took 2 days to get a basic maintenance and I had to call to find out if/when it was done. Almost no one was wearing a mask!
All I want to say is that the staff at Mercedes-Benz of Reno did everthing they could to help me get the car that I wanted. All the staff were highly professional and very courteous. I will go back to them anytime I need a high end vehicle. Thanks for the great job.
The Reno team worked hard to find the color and options we were looking for. It took a couple of weeks to get the vehicle in but it was worth the wait. Exactly what we wanted. Everyone at MB Reno was great to work with and we look forward to working with them for years to come.
Jeff at MB Reno is incredible. I was traveling in Lake Tahoe with my 2011 GLK and my moonroof wouldn't close just as I was ready to drive back to LA. I made an appointment over the phone on Sat for Wed. When I arrived, Jeff said my appt wasn't in the system. I was a little devastated because I drove an hour to get to the service center from Lake Tahoe. He understood my emergency and took me in even though they were really busy and backed up. I didn't expect them to be able to fix the moonroof because it was likely missing a part so I asked them to just close it manually. They spent a couple hrs on it and also checked and replaced my battery as well since it was at end of life. They ended up fixing the moonroof to my surprise and didn't charge me a huge sum for it. I was so happy and relieved as I had to drive 8 hrs to get back to LA. Even though Jeff knows I'm not going to be a usual customer of Reno Service (due to the distance), he didn't treat me any differently. Thank you Jeff for taking care of my car for me and I felt safe driving it long distance!
Went to the dealership to buy a almost new Audi and to pay cash for it. The dealer missed to mention, that several standard items on this car were missing / trunk/cargo cover, 2nd key, parts of the car manual/Service record. When I discovered the missing items I had to go all the way to the manager to resolve the issue and iiitially the only thing that was offered was to return the car and void the sale. Prior to the sale I asked several times to have issue s disclosed to me, which was not done, deliberately I have to assume.
A preowned car sale is as much a trust based transaction as any other and I had good transactions before from other dealerships.
Your dealership forgot to repair one issue of my car, a year later I came in for the same issue. I was told that MBZ couldn't fix the issue and asked me to take it to the body shop. I took the car back to MBZ in CA and got it taken care
SCAM!!! Do not buy used cars from this place. My father in law and I bought a car with them and they did not give the car a real mechanic inspection. The car has been on repairs for almost 3 months out of the 6 months that I have it. Engine leaking, water leaking, radiator was broken, AC not working properly, etc. If you buy a car here please buy a new one and avoid any problem.
If you're thinking about buying a car at Mercedes-Benz of Reno, PLEASE make sure you book an appointment with Joanna first! She a very dynamic and savvy salesperson who will go above and beyond for you. She answered all my questions and spent extra time w me making sure i knew everything. While I waited, she had my car detailed again! She put my temp plates on in the freezing cold. While everyone stayed warm inside, Joanna was running around getting things done! She's a very talented member of MB. I was really impressed, and thankful she sold me my car.
If you have any worries, please see Jim the manager. He'll assuage any hiccups that may arise. His customer service skills are unsurpassed! He listens and will take great care of you. Couldn't ask for a nicer manager. The sales department at Mercedes-Benz of Reno is a great team of real people who are there to help you step into a better way of driving! I'm grateful for my experience there.
I have been bringing my 2000 ML320 to be serviced for the last 13 yrs. I have always appreciated the stellar customer service. This past weekend I had the pleasure of purchasing a new 2015 GLA 250, the sales team were outstanding! Jerry, Ken and Larry are top notch! The circle is complete, I am part of the service and sales family at Mercedes-Benz of Reno. Thank you for being the best!
The Customer Service is outstanding. Jarrett my Customer Service Representative is extremely knowledgeable in all respects and he makes certain that the needs for my GLE 350 meets Mercedes Benz standards. There is no better dealership in Reno that can compare to Mercedes Benz of Reno
Jerry in commercial sales was wonderful in having our recently purchased Sprinter 2500 4x4 ready to go when we arrived for pick-up, including priority timing in financing to close the deal in an expeditious manner! Furthermore, our follow-up questions - "there are no dumb questions, right?" - were handled with patience, understanding and knowledgable answers from him and the team. My stand out quality citing from the two purchase experiences we have had with Reno Mercedes Benz, though, comparing this experience to other MB dealers I was corresponding with, is the timely, professional and consistent communication, which ultimately earned Reno our business. Keep up the good work Jerry and team! Thank you.
Appointment easy to make. Requested loaner since it was major service. Received a clean new loaner. My car was returned clean. My service agent, Grecia, was efficient and polite
Really bad, I had two different types of their services, both are just bad, they don't call to keep me updated when the job is done; then they kept my RV for over a week and half won't work on it, did not call to keep me updated, I have to call and call again to get a answer, then the price was $200 more than the quote. I just want to get my car and get out of there, DO NOT take your car there unless you want to get .......Bad services and over price work done (or not done right).
Our sales person was great we never felt pressured and he took all the time we needed to answer all of our questions. He made our buying experience very pleasant.
Dustin in the Service Department is great. He kept me informed of the progress of the repairs on my van and delivered it when promised. He even had it washed before I picked it up. I have dealt with many Service Writers over the years and Dustin is a good one. Thank you Dustin!
Mercedes-Benz of Reno consistently excels at all of the following: . Quality of maintenance and repair services Communications . Keeping commitments . Courtesy . Cleanliness and attractiveness of facilities
I have had the worst experience with this dealership. As another poster mentioned the sales manager had little or no follow up on issues he promised to follow up on. Generally was a unprofessional experience and i had to babysit them through the entire process. I am surprised this is allowed to go on at any major dealership let alone a Mercedes Benz dealership.
Worst service department I ve ever been to in my life....IF you can even get an appointment. Don t buy your Benz here, for the money they cost you deserve good service.
