Nice hotel. One TV didn't work and the tub needed an update, but fine otherwise fine. The trail outside was great for a late night stroll.
Mattress was uncomfortable and worn. The shower was clogged and they wouldnt switch our room, the repairman said he couldnt fix it and they schedule it for repairs later that week, which didnt help my kids who needed to shower. We asked for an additional blanket, and they never sent it up. They have 3 elevators but only turn one on at a time, so theres a constant long wait for the elevator. The plaza is nice, and the breakfast is great, plus a nice view of the water, but that hardly makes up for the very poor service. For $280.00 a night, I would have expected much better.
All Covid-19 compliance is in place. Wonderful location, professional and wonderful customer service.
Great place for a night.but the workout area machines need fixing.
Excellent hotel, probably the best I've ever stayed at. I've never been awed by a hotel before but that atrium is amazing. I enjoyed every minute looking at all the cool architecture(exposed elevators!). I ate at the Tap and Tavern for dinner(kitchen open until 11 on a Thursday) and the food was great. Breakfast buffet was top notch the next morning. A+ courteous staff.
We usually stay at this location three to four times each year as we visit the Bay Area often. Last night when we arrived at the mostly empty hotel we had to wade through several flight attendants cigarette smoke at the front door. Our room, we paid extra for a bay view, was wonderful. We left to have dinner. When we returned to the hotel, there was a family smoking weed in the front entry. We went up to our room, opened the window to enjoy the spectacular view, and were again greeted with the stench of marijuana. We called the front desk, closed our door, and went to bed. It was warm, so around midnight we again opened the window. At 7:00 we were again greeted with the weed smell at this nonsmoking property. Management at the front desk was absolutely no help. No apologies, no discount, nothing. Don t stay here if you do not want to smell other people s weed.
Went for wedding photographer event. The hotel is beautiful and the conference room was really clean and nice
Beautiful hotel. Right on water. Just a very heavy traffic area during the weekend.
Great, original floorplan, exotic environment, good customer service
Excellent breakfast. The suites are huge and clean. 40 minutes from the city.
Not guests but visiting guests. Indoor pool is small, wasn't heated but ambient temperature warm. Rooms open to building height atrium.
Clean, friendly, good breakfast, frequent airport shuttle and free shuttle to and from downtown Burlingame.
Amazing view of aircraft landing over bay, and great rooms
Only complaints would be the front desk employee had horrible English and I could barely understand her. The walls are super thin and I can hear the people next to me talk. I appreciate that the toilets aren't super loud like most hotels. Having coffee bean coffee and tea is really nice! Oh and the free breakfast was all cold.
Overall I gave 4 stars though and I'll be back.
Attended a seminar here before Thanksgiving and this hotel was a treat.
Awesome view of flights landing from the east side balconies.
Very nice and clean rooms. Complimentary breakfast wasn t too bad. I just wished they had more variety.
Nice outside view on the bay (if you are on the right side of the building ).
Be careful of the noise of the freeway on the other side.
The restaurant is very nice out on the waterfront. Great roasted chicken entre and. Brussels sprouts.
On the weekend there a lot if people making noise in their rooms
Amazing food, especially the BBQ ribs. Beachfront view is awesome and being close to the airport is nice when flying back home.
I love the view of the bay and the rooms are great. The cooked to oder breakfast is always a pleaser too.
Great hotel. Awesome staff. This hotel is tucked off in a quiet area next to the Bay and a lagoon. Although it's close to the airport, the airplanes are barely noticeable. There's a walkway that lines the Bay for an enjoyable walk/run. The hotel was clean and organized. If anyone is familiar with Embassy you know of their signature cocktail hour that goes on from 530p-730p. Don't expect any real food during this happy hour just light snacks (carrots, ranch and chips n salsa). Breakfast was good. Made to order pancakes and omelettes. Also they have a buffet line for when the made to order line is too long. Great ambiance inside the hotel. Heated pool and hot tub are functional. The only downside to my stay was that they didn't have coffee out after they put everything for breakfast. After I asked where I was able to get coffee, the rep gave me directions to an establishment down the street and also to another Hilton property. . Not that big of a deal. I got my coffee fix by driving to a local Starbucks 8 mins down the street. But they should have coffee on deck around the clock. My room had a lagoon view (see pics)
Overall, great place to bring your family for a comfortable stay.
Rooms were not well maintained and partially not very clean .... very crowded so that breakfast was rather like a treasury hunt every morning. Parking is not complementary and adding another 29$/night to the bill.
Very nice hotel. I always like the giant rooms you get with the starting at Embassy suites. The hotel is clean and the staff were nice. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, stocked, and spacious, and the beef was comfortable. Wi-Fi was good in the room, there was plenty of room for work and rest, and the bathroom was clean and big enough. I'd definitely stay again.
The Atrium is a wonderful place to have breakfast. Staff was very nice, room was clean and nicely appointed. Glass elevators gave an entertaining view of the interior, but one was out of order, so waits were a bit long. It was nice and warm that weekend, so the paved trail by the SF Bay was beautiful! I would go there again!
Fun place to go,great rooms, pool, gym, amazing people
Poor service! We requested for bell service when we arrived, but no one even showed up after we waited for 15 min. outside at the front door with two kids and two elderly in the cold. We walked away at the end and no one even make an effort to apologize or asked if we need help. Breakfast quality was terrible. Food either too salty or cold. Also, we requested for a baby crib before we arrive. The front desk told us that they will reserved one for us. However, none was in our room after we checked in. Anyway, we won't recommend this hotel to our family and friends.
The breakfast here was amazing including madw to order to omellettes, muffins, cereal, coffee amd milk, and salsa
Wonderful hotel. Friendly staff, great food. Absolutely loved my stay.
Stayed here on a short family west coast vacation for Veteran's Day Weekend.
Not at all what we expected. Was super outdated and the amenities was not up-to-par.
It's noisy all night. We needed extra pillows and it took an hour and a half to get them. You can't take the stairs except to exit. The indoor pool smells like chlorine. Parking costs $30 a night. Breakfast on the weekend isn't until 7:30. The pullout bed isn't very comfortable. Other than that a comfortable stay.
Nice location and view. Close to SFO. Nice service.
This is a goto place for gathering with friends at the restaurant/bar. I like the atmosphere and their decor in the lobby/lounge area. Great for meet-n-greets, and networking at such a prime location. Also, a friend had their wedding banquet several yrs ago here and was fun & awesome!
Great and beautiful place. We had a blast. Attention to detail would make it a 5 star.
Big clean rooms, close to airport. Great for business travel
The room had a controlled thermostat i never rented a room that i couldnt control the room temperature the room was freezing cold for my elder mother it was a real inconvenience! The 2nd inconvenient that had happen was when my family had went with me to Elaphant Bar for dinner my Dad had a half of rack of ribs and I also had leftovers plus my wife and brother also had leftovers our future sister in law had leftovers as well and we had placed the leftovers in the Embassy Suites room refrigerator and when we had woken up there was ants all over the inside of the refrigerator so disgusting i had to throw it all away. Oh my God and if that wasn't bad enough we had went down stairs for breakfast and it was cold they had no microwave and the fork my brother pick out of the utensils holder was dirty. Ugh when we went to talk with manager he wouldn't comp us our room or cover our losses of our dinner leftovers. Management were denying responsibility. I never had spent so much good money for a room that was such a inconvenient to us.
Conferences are good here. Free drinks in the evening and lots of good breakfast options.
This hotel was great as well, the check-in was fast. The gal that checked us in let us know about the trolley which was free awesome. They have a great breakfast. It is right on the bay so you can walk on the Bay Trail. They also have a free airport shuttle. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant staff is great. They also have meeting rooms if anyone wants to reserve them. Their pool and hot tub are also very warm and welcoming. They also have a balcony on each floor where you we can step out and smoke. You can see the airport ,so you can see airplanes leaving and coming. Burlingame is a very dog-friendly City.
The facilities and location were lovely. No airport noise at all. Our room, however, was apparently once a smoking room and had an off-putting musty smell. The pool area was too small for the size of the hotel and my younger kids didnt even attempt to use it because of the shear volume of older teenagers camped out there. The breakfast buffet was a nice addition but I was underwhelmed by the taste of what was offered. Overall, it was a good value for the price and it was convenient to the airport, and that would be the only reason I would stay there again.
Their special breakfast was excellent, just needs a little different set up to help with moving the line of people threw faster
This hotel is well appointed and in good repair. The linens and carpeting are nice and the bathroom is well cleaned.
There only to attend an event, however my daughter spent the weekend there and was happy with the rooms. Beautiful view of the Bay. Clean and nice staff. Not exactly knowledgeable about the conference room locations, but we eventually figured it out!
Very nice embassy suites. The bar is beautiful and their food is good, plus a great view of the planes landing at sfo. Rooms and lobby are very clean. The housekeeping was great as well.
Beautiful waterfront location with a big, open, and pretty lobby decorated with trees, where they serve a delicious breakfast. The room looked really nice as well, with a common space outside and a nice bathroom. It was a great experience!
Didn't stay the night, just walked in the building to go to a pokestop!
The environment is very comfortable, the price is medium, the airport is suitable for exhibition seminars, the flight is very frequent, the habit is good.
Beautiful hotel. If you get a water view it is amazing for AV geeks. Great view of SFO. Good restaurant as well.
Apart from washroom sink, which was not working properly, everything was fine. View outside the window is so beautiful. Thanks.
The room was very clean and, as all rooms are suites, if you as me travel alone you'll have plenty of space. Also the staff was very friendly and cheerful and made their best to make me feel welcome. The location is great with a beautiful view of the bay and planes on their final approach to SFO. If you get a "lagoon view room" that is, otherwise you'll have to take a walk outside (scary thought, right? :-) ).
However, there are also som things that would need improvement if I would choose this hotel again, especially since there are so many options in the area. For example:
* The wireless internet connection was slow and not too stable (nerd info: about 15% packet loss regardless of destination). This isn't really acceptable in the heart of Silicon Valley.
* The restaurant needs to improve the quality of the food. I only ordered a burger the first night but after that experience I made sure I had eaten before I returned to the hotel for the evening as I wasn't tempted at all to try any other options on the menu.
* The temperature of the room can not be controlled as the temperature outside dictates if the heating system is set up for cooling or heating. There is a sign i the room explaining that this is by design and if you are too cold you could ask for a mobile heater to be delivered to your room. In my case the room was too warm (around 76 degrees according to the thermometer in the room) but as it was cold outside I could only get heat from the in room fan.
* The atrium foliage really needs some cleaning!
* Every morning I woke up to the intense smell of fried eggs and bacon since the air from the breakfast area seems to get sucked right into my room. Some people might call this a nice feature, but I don't.
A perfect cozy place of all kinds of emotions perfect place to relax with the family.
Very disappointing our room have a very offensive odor when we enter the room. The bedroom did not smell, we were very tired and it was late so we stayed. Well in the morning our complimentary breakfat was very poor the food was cold and the sitting area to eat was like sitting in a refrigerator.
We stayed at others Embassy Suites and had great experience. Also my wife wanted heat in our bedroom and I read the instructions on.the thermostat and turn up the heat to 75.
Well I called the main desk and the young lady said the the heating system for the whole hotel does not work. They gave us a portable heater. Something is wrong with the management for this Embassy Suite.
The room was way over priced for this Embassy Suite. Sincerely, EAM.
Love the rooms. Extremely spacious. The restaurant is pretty good as well and who can complain about the complimentary happy hour.
Free happy hour. Good restaurant. Impressive Hall. Convenient shuttles. Large breakfast.
Perfect layover from San Fran airport on international flight back to US. Delayed caused me to get there late when everything to eat was closed so staff went above and gave me a couple bags of chips and snacks as well.
My new "Go To" location for trips to the Bay Area going forward. Justin and his staff know how to run a hotel! From outstanding breakfasts to afternoon happy hours, the staff is on top of it. My only regret was this visit was only 3 nights, I could have enjoyed some time off here, too!
nice view of the water from my room. clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast options.
I m here right now, Saturday 8/18/2018, there is a Sweet 16 Party going on which music is too loud. I talked to the Magager and was told the party goes until 11pm, so I could retire to my room and close the door... Horrible... Horrible... Horrible... inside my room I still hear the loud music... if you plan to come here to rest, don t waste your money...
Great view of the Bay with a nearby park and restaurants. Easy Freeway access.
Large rooms, very good breakfast, their made to order omelette station was awesome,in the evening complimentary hours free alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are served with snacks, they also have a gym and a pool .
We had my brother-in-law's engagement party there. It was a great experience. The service was good the food was good. The View was gorgeous.
THIS HOTEL FORCES BREASTFEEDING/PUMPING MOTHERS TO FEED IN THEIR DISGUSTING BATHROOM! REFUSING ANY ACCOMMODATIONS FOR MOTHERS! DO NOT GO HERE!
