Because the maids did a fantastic job at keeping my room nice and clean everyday also it was a super nice hotel and breakfast was alwyas good.

The rooms do not depict what is shown on website.. rooms are dark, bathrooms are very narrow and not to mention the ceilings are POPCORN ceilings!!!!!! My husband and I usually look forward to the 5 o'clock snacks downstairs ( that's why we love Embassy Suites) cheap carrots and goldfish.. we also went swimming with no towels available to go upstairs nor were there any in our room... Do not stay here...

Love the trail by the bay jogging location very enjoying, great breakfast menu,good coffee, room is nice but might need renovation in the future to compete with other hotel bed should be kings to small for 2 people in 1 bed, but otherwise very nice and cozy, we love it!

Nice hotel with a great view. It was great watching the planes fly in over the bay.

From my hotel room, there is a beautiful view of the ocean and a little bit of the Golden gate bridge. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the service is very helpful.

I haven't even arrived yet and have not received good service. I sent the hotel a message via their app earlier today about an upgrade - which I do with every Hilton brand stay I do and I always receive a reply either giving me an upgrade or telling me they are sold out and I've been added to the list. I was only asking for a room with a better view than the parking lot view. I never received a reply from this hotel. Then this evening, after not hearing anything I message the hotel again. i finally hear back with a statement that upgrades are offered on an available basis. I question the man as to my stay which is only for 1 night. He replies that he checked and there is availability and it will cost me $40 for the night. I tell him that as a frequent Hilton brand traveler I've never been charged for available upgrades. His reply, "Not in Embassy Suites Burlingame". I did tell him I thought that was tacky to charge a frequent Hilton Honors member for an upgrade that was available. As I said earlier all I inquired about was a room with a better view - not a suite. His response, "Okay". Wow so much for customer service at this location.

Staff is amazing. Breakfast was great. They actually let me store something big in their storage room. They are very accommodating.

Breakfast was lovely and has a pool and fitness suite also.
Only about 8 minutes from the airport too.
I just wish we had stayed longer than one night there!

The rooms and facilities are clean but old. The breakfast was delicious. Weekend many families, that the elevator was crowded was not good enough.

Loved staying here! The lobby is like a mini rainforest with many plants. Every morning complimentary breakfast and newspapers. In the evening they have complimentary happy hour. This place is just great. They also have a pool and gym, though small but the option is there. Beautiful views of the bay and to watch planes take off and land at SFO.

The hotel is very good, rooms very nice, location nice (on the water) Happy hour and breakfast are excellent. However the restaurant is a big disappointment. If you want dinner, take the Broadway shuttle to downtown Burlingame for a decent meal

This place is aids, I've seen girls blow harder than the air conditioner in this crappy hotel. Staff are just a bunch of rude Phillipinos, I called the person in the front desk for wifi and he said I have to pay $9.99 per night which is bs because last Embassy I stayed at had free wifi. I know some hotels are different but I would never recommend this cancerous hotel. All i can say there are betters hotels out there that also costs less.

Hard to recommend - for the price, its difficult to ignore the shortcomings.

Arrived on Sunday afternoon, and had to wait 3 hours before being allowed into the room (the first hour is fair enough, I did arrive before the official checkin time - but didn't get the room until nearly 6pm). It takes maybe 10 minutes to clean a room, not 3 hours.
The entire hotel seems cold everywhere, but the room climate system sure doesn't do any heating; it was still feeding cold air when the room was already only 19C.
Even the breakfast has taken a downturn recently. On previous stays, there was an accessible hot buffet, but this has now been moved into the cook-to-order section and is no longer quick and easy to grab.
Internet access is gated by a login/paywall which locks you out and forces a reauthentication every day. For a hotel at this price point, it should be seamless.

On the plus side, the rooms are spacious, and the staff are friendly and helpful (as far as they can be). The happy hour session is still offered too, good to see.

This hotel is basically the locals' swimming pool. It's overrun by unsupervised children and the staff is fully jaded by it.

Vending machine is broken but the staff seems fine with that. There was garbage sitting outside a room for 2 nights. A bandaid sat in front of the elevator for our entire stay. Children kept throwing things off of the house keeping carts from the top floor balcony but the staff didn't seem to know how to handle it. Unsupervised kids in the pool were playing with the emergency lifeguard equipment, but the staff didn't care.

All of the staff were very friendly and available. None of them seemed to know how to run this horrible hotel, though.

Great place to stay.. We stay here every time we are in the area. Great staff, very helpful. Any time something goes wrong they do what they can to make it right and make it up to us, which doesnt happen frequently. Great room service, very accommodating and friendly. Fabulous breakfast...potatoes.... Yummmm :-) balconies with great views... And the walkway along the water... Its the perfect hotel! :-)

The outside of the hotel looks like your normal hotel, but inside was beautiful. Had a lovely atmosphere and great service. Rooms were nicely furnished and very welcoming. Breakfast was just as good.

Surprise $22 charge for parking at check in, poor WiFi, and to top it all off, Bedbugs in the pullout! Never again Hilton! Update: After finding bedbugs in the room, I asked to be comped at check out. The manger first tried to act like I was an idiot, and that only a "pest control professional" could identify a bedbug. When I told her that I didn't care how they handled their problem, but the professional thing to do would be to comp me, she tried to make me sign a non-disclosure agreement. Talk about adding insult to injury.

Great place to stay. Very clean rooms and they have happy hour! During their happy hour you get a complimentary alcoholic drink. Unlimited chips and salsa, chex mix, carrots, celery. Their breakfast buffet is on point too. Awesome selection of drinks and breakfast food. They have an omelette station where thy make your personalized omelette to order. Check out time is 12 pm which means you get to sleep in! Definitely coming back here

This place is awesome the front desk is super friendly. Also Gabe and Ian at the bar at night are the best, they are really fun to talk to and are quite informed about the city. Also the rooms are spacious also the free breakfast is delicious.

A good stay, large and clean rooms. A little old compared to other Embassies, but still very good

The view of the airplanes flying and taking off at this hotel is awesome! Just down the street is leanns cafe which is a great restaurant with great food. The restaurant at this hotel is a bit pricey for the portions you get and food can be quite greasy depending on what you are ordering.

Great location for my company's annual gathering. Several convention rooms available for simultaneous presentations. Great views of the bay.

Big Hotel room, very good breakfast. Free shuttle to SF international airport

Not up to normal embassy suites standards. Old hotel, room layout strange and not well thought out. Very expensive. Expensive parking fees hidden on web site. Don't pay for parking as there is a park next door that you can park at for free.

Rooms are very big, come with microwave, and a very large fridge. Additional sink on the kitchen/coffee counter. Two work desks. Two TVs. Separate living room and bedroom zones. An incredible sunrise view.

Some things to note:

1. Do remember to close the curtains at the main door otherwise people along the corridor can look in.

2. WiFi wasn t the fastest, but adequate. No ethernet ports available in the room.

3. Only one hook in the toilet for hanging a towel.

4. No electric kettle for boiling water (this seems to be a norm for US hotels?). You can use the coffee machine though, just a little troublesome.

5. Parking available on two sides of the hotel - the front lobby one gets full pretty quickly though but there s ample parking altogether.

Overall a really great experience and stay. Will stay here again when I m travelling back to the bay area for work.

On the bay, good for people who like to watch planes.

Close proximity to SFO, 10 to 20 minutes during non peak hours, depending on your flight terminal. Waterfront property with excellent views. The excitement of watching planes never gets old and you can do that here all day if you want. There is breakfast, complimentary WiFi and free happy hour! The suites are pretty basic but clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I messed up my reservations, but when I got to check in they were quick to fix it and proactively offer me the best room available despite my error.

Comfortable accommodations. Great for families travels with young children.

Stayed here for work, enjoyed it. Hotel appears well maintained, beds comfortable and clean. Good breakfast buffet, items seemed fresh, well cared for. Loved the omlette/egg station. Overall, the convenience to the airport and quality made this stay very enjoyable.

Great views of the bay outside, and right next to a walking path that goes along the bay. Fun to watch the planes take off and land on the other side of the water. Nice rooms, recently renovated. FYI, they do not have rollaway beds, so the sofa beds are the only non-bed option. Unfortunately, the courtyard in the middle of the hotel was made a little worse in the renovation. Perhaps more seating, but certainly less water and fewer trees and fish. As with all Embassy Suites, the happy hour drinks and snacks are an excellent free benefit.

Thermostat in the room doesn't control the room temperature. And this is Hilton? They send two technicians who explained me that they have an old two-pipe system so we can't control the temperature setting from the room.

This one is located right by the sea so thats a plus you can go down and sit and enjoy open air.. room was really good however bedroom had weak AC outlet. But overall hotel was clean had everything needed and also staffs were polite and welcoming.

Very crowded. Children running around without management interference. Not enough cooks for breakfast in the morning. Too many people in pajamas while eating breakfast. Staff at the front desk was courteous but overwhelmed. Room accommodations were fine the rest of the hotel looked like it had just been redone Renovations looks very good. room was weird.

The environment was well organized, clean and respectful.

Okay family hotel with a lot of noice due to the large aula.

Very bad experience front desk experience! Never experienced this in my many business travels.
I had a reservation for 4 nights and I was given a room with guests already occupying the rooms and on two occasions I was able to use the key to open.
This happened on Manager's watch so I think there is something fishy going on in this hotel!
On the third time they given me a room with jumbled room number written on the piece of paper so that I went down again to be corrected! Above that they did not really apologize with the big messed up and inconvenience to the guest.

Good place to stay by airport, good and reliable shuttle service to airport

Beautiful area. Great customer service, very clean and amazing views. Perfect if you are a runner and like to explore around.

Some of the rooms has a good view. rooms are large and there are shuttle buses to airport and burlingame

Great hotel. The rooms are a little dated, but still nice. The free breakfast and especially the omelete bar are fantastic! They also have a decent happy hour each week night. It's a great place to stay and is close to SF International airport.

I've only stopped here for a quick break on the way to SFO, but from what I can see this is clean well run hotel, the place is always busy

It's a 10 minute drive TO THE AIRPORT - DURING RUSH HOUR!!! Plus free happy hour every night OPEN BAR - FOR TWO HOURS!! Made to order breakfast EVERY DAY!! You cannot beat this place.

Its ok. Not great. Embassy suites in Anza Blvd the best.

Can be a bit noisy, nice rooms, spacious, slightly outdated. The bed I'm in now has been used quite a bit, Springs are sprung. My staff, great breakfast, great views, and on the Bay Shore Trail which is gorgeous to walk. Van every 20 minutes to the airport

Very nice hotel with a water front and if you get a room with a water front you can see airplanes come in for landing (which I love). Great staff. Gym needs updated. Other than that its a good property.

A huge magnificent building! Very well-kept hotel, great pool, great room, excellent breakfast! There is really nothing to complain about, except:
- Parking is very expensive! That does not have to be with the room prices really. Better parking at Burlingame parking, which is much cheaper and no 5 minutes walk away, also online prepay possible
-As starting point for San Francisco is the distance to consider, half an hour you drive in already. Especially after Alcatraz or the like you should allow more than enough time for scheduled trips, as SF is permanently heavily congested.
Otherwise great.

Horrible place to stay. First of all I booked a bay view they said it won't be available til the following day. I checked in 9pm and when I went to get into bed there was hair on the sheets, pillow cases weren't changed. I called right away to change I was tired from a long drive. I called twice within the hour and front desk said they will be here shortly still nothing 10:45 I called manager they said they are almost here. 11:15 I'm too tired to continue waiting I called front desk. 11:20 someone finally came but only brought sheets not prepared to change the dirty sheets. I'm disgusted with how the sheets WEREN'T changed and ready in the first place. Bed was FINALLY READY almost MIDNIGHT!! will not book here again!!!

Grand place. But lifts not working, arrangements not adequate for weekend crowd at breakfast tables.

Just stayed here for a week. Wouldn't go back. Not very welcoming, the front lady didn't explain anything to me, I had to ask or figure it out myself. Their restaurant in the hotel is extremely overpriced for a small amount of food.. One dish for $20 and I was still hungry. There were multiple things broken in my room and I was cold at night, come to find out they control the temperature in all rooms..the rooms seemed a bit run down to me especially for how expensive they are. Mold also started forming in the bathroom likely because of the fan not working. Best part was the breakfast, complimentary drinks every night, and that they discount you each day 10% if you don't have them clean your room. I guess I expected more for the price

The atrium inside is really cool. Staff is friendly and they have a great continental breakfast buffet.

stayed for the night after a wedding near by. thus was definitely one of the better rooms I've had. phenomenal view and fairly easy to get to. breakfast in the morning was phenomenal. omelets made to order, fresh eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, and plenty of fruit and pastries.

We have stayed at one of the 2 South SF Embassy suites for years and have always been happy with our stay. Unfortunately our current stay has been extremely disappointing on so many levels. First they are undergoing a major remodel of the atrium which was not communicated to us when we booked the room. To make matters worse, the breakfast was not the norm, everything was cold, no made to order options and they began removing tables while we were still eating. The construction work being done started early enough to prevent us from sleeping in late after a long graduation evening. Zero stars for our favorite hotel chain!!!!
