Wonderful! They have a happy hour in the evening with free drinks and snacks. Morning breakfast was delicious. It's a complete breakfast with eggs, meats, breads & cereals, fruit, and yogurt. Indoor pool for year around swimming. Fun for the whole family.

Convenient to SFO. Ask for a view if the bay. It's fun to watch all the planes landing (over 1100/day in and out). Rooms are clean and spacious. The front desk was stacked up each time we went there with only one person working despite a line 5-7 people deep.

I attended a social event at embassy suites by SFO and felt this hotel is top notch! Clean meeting rooms, excellent comfortable seating, and wide open spaces for our gathering of about 100 ppl.

This hotel is nice, but there were a three issues with our room. They replaced our faulty shower curtain after it flooded the bathroom floor, and fixed a broken tv and sink really quickly. Although, that didn t strike confidence.

With that said, the room was relatively comfortable and very clean. It has a nice free happy hour and neat coy pond.

There s a nice trail right outside of the hotel that goes around the bay.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, overall this is an affordable and nice place to stay, but it probably won t wow you.

Great hotel but super crowded especially at breakfast where you had to hunt for space to sit. One elevator out of order made getting to floors with luggage especially difficult with already crowded elevators. Also pool/whirlpool were overcrowded even with late hours. Rooms comfy with great view of the bay.

If you like embassy suites properties, you won't be disappointed by this one.The main perk of any Embassy Suites is the complementary breakfast which is fantastic and the evening reception whuch included free snacks and drinks. Both are a fantastic value! The location of the hotel is nice with a bay view facing the airport. There is a paved walking right next to the hotel. Perhaps the biggest detriment to this hotel is its proximity to downtown San Francisco. This is obviously not the hotels fault and if you aren't going to downtown it won't be a big deal. However if you plan on going downtown be prepared for a complementary shuttle ride to the airport followed by a rather expensive Bart (train) trip. It seems there is an extra charge for starting your trip at the airport. A round-trip ticket to just about any location downtown will run just shy of $20. This isn't a huge expense unless you multiply that by the number of people traveling with you. It adds up quickly. Again this is not the fault of the hotel, but be prepared for this extra expense. If this doesn't bother you, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, beautiful atrium, yummy breakfast. But the lack of towels in the pool and room we're disappointing. We booked a suite for 6, and there were only 3 in our bathroom. we called for more, but none came.

Very relax environment. Polite staffers. The breakfast is pretty awesome. Beautiful view of the bay, and gorgeous walkways. You'll also see airplanes landing at the San Francisco International airport. On a clear day, you may be able to see the Bay Bridge.

the room is really big. you get a 2 bedroom suite. when you first walk in its a living room area with a table and chairs and a couch that turns into a sofa with a mini bar with a microwave and a sink. Then you walk into the other room and it had to single beds with a ottoman and a dresser drawer and a TV. the shower and toilet is also inside of the second room.

The first room we got into smelt old and musty and the bathroom smelt like someone had smoked in it. We asked to change rooms and they were able to do it with no issues. The second room smelt much cleaner and felt cleaner, though the TVs in the room are outdated. Seem like they're from the early 2000s and have trouble broadcasting HD. The free breakfast is pretty nice. The free evening drinks and snacks are great. Nice employees.

The rooms are spacious at an affordable rate. Free breakfast in the morning and it's right on the water with a beautiful view. I highly recommend Embassy Suites and try to stay there whenever I travel.

Worst experience ever. I always stay at Embassy Suites but this is my first and laat time coming to this one. I am traveling with 5 kids and checked in at 2:30 just so thay everything would go smoothly. Almost 3 hours later and the rooms are just beginning to get cleaned. I would put 0 stats but o cant.

The phone in the room doesn t work, tried calling the front desk multiple times and the phone customer services are just useless. Most of the options don t work or connects you to another message and just a circle of wasting time.
TVs are from Stone Age ( Well that s a joke but they are 32 possibly plasma tv with a very low picture quality).
The rooms are dated and shower and bathtub chipped and painted in parts.
The air conditioning in our room is broken and no matter what we do it won t turn off and our room is like a sauna and guess what the phone is not working to let the front desk know!
The staff are nice and friendly and breakfast is ok.

The bathroom walls were covered in mildew and the towels were frayed. The pillow cases had black stains on them. The thermostat was centrally controlled so we couldn't adjust the temperature. We were uncomfortably hot and even opening the sliding glass door didn't give relief since it bacame loud from the airport and the guests in the parking lot. The breakfast was the highlight and was very good. If staying more than one night we would have left the hotel.

Horrible wait times for checking. In addition to my credit card being charged 204.00 twice at the bar by Toni who is the bartender, After I have shown that my bar tap was closed . Walkways near rooms 900 smell like someone vomit in the hallway. Abondance of unsupervised children in common areas causing hotel cleaning staff to clean after them. Overall not a good hotel nor experience. Would definitely avoid this hotel. Pay the extra money and go somewhere better.

Great place to stay near by San Francisco. It's about a 20 minute drive to downtown San Francisco. With taxes included I spent about $175 to have a room with two double beds a sofa bed and a separate living room along with two TVs. The lounge area is awesome and it has a nice Pub as well. The gym is not bad but there is a swimming pool. The elevator up to my room had a beautiful view of the lounge area. This hotel was definitely worth the drive because you're not going to get anything as classy and comfortable with a great price in the downtown San Francisco area.

I stayed in this hotel summer 2014. I've had a great experience there. Breakfast was super, amazing seafront and airport views. There's a nice running track right in front of the hotel. Only disadvantage is that u need a car/bus to go to Burlingame. There's a free shuttle that goes to Burlingame town center. Really I will stay there again if I ever travel to SFO

Great Embassay. Right on the water with beautiful scenery. Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Daily evening reception with free beer, wine and well liquor. Free made-to-order omelettes in the morning.

Hilton... 5 star price, 2 star experience. At no point during my stay was I comfortable.

1. I had the same experience as the reviewer who complained about the smoking.

2. Room was dirty and ill-equiped.

3. $200 a night for the room yet parking was $35/day extra. Ridiculous.

3. Total lack of adherence to mask protocols by staff, other patrons and custodians.

4. Hotel seems to be housing people displaced by Covid-19 and they were treating the hotel like it was their own personal living room. Loitering, roaming around halls and parking lot, leaving empty bottles and trash around.

My experience was amazing upon arrival. Today, I got here 4 hrs early prior to my check-in and asked Ellina to see if I could be checked in early. She went over and beyond to see if they had any rooms available and was very polite and courteous. At the moment, there were no rooms available, but After maybe 45 min, she followed back up with me to let me know that they would be placing me in a room shortly.
I just want to say thank you Ellina for your magnanimity and your gregarious altitude, sometimes the little things can really turn someones day around or make their day. I hope to see you one day running the hospitality industry with your astute awareness.

The view was beautiful. The animinities are not good. The exercising equipment was not working. A good example the room had two treadmills, a bicycle, two other machines. You could tell the machines were not worked on. When you tried to tell the front desk of thos situation, I felt that the staff blew it off. An elevator was stuck for a couple minutes.

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. We met with a representative to book a space for our event and after a week of negotiating we reached an agreement which was confirmed by the representative. We were told a contract would be forthcoming and a week later still no contract. We contacted the representative via email and phone and asked for an update. He said he should have a contract sent before the end of the following week. A week goes by and still no contract is sent. We reached out again only to have our communications ignored. Needless to say we would not recommend this hotel for holding your event.

Nice beautiful hotel overlooking the water. Great spot to spend a night before a flight at SFO. Some parts of the hotel including the room look a bit dated which is reason for the 4 star rather than 5.
