Most people choose hotels based on breakfast, pool, scenery and cleanliness. When in fact your stay is really based on how you interact with the staff! Embassy is rated 5 stars because of the team that supports the hotel! So, don't look for what you can receive accept what they have to offer! Most of the time it is 5 star attitude!

If you're looking for dinner and some drinks, go somewhere else. Apparently the menu changed... for the the worst. The food at the tap room restaurant is generic and just meh. The burger tastes like a burger a 12 year old made. Basic and lacking any type of imagination. The Mac and cheese is lacking in the cheese department. And their Cobb salad comes with what we believe to be frozen chicken bought from Costco. On top of that, their cocktails are watered down and unspectacular at best. I'm never going here again.

Best stay ever. We had stayed at previous hotels in the area but this one is by far the best. The staff are friendly and helpful. The amenities are awesome. The pool is always full so be ready for that. I will stay here everytime I'm in the area.

Room was okay. Linens always seemed a tad damp. We killed two roaches in our room. The sink and shower didn't drain properly. Also the shower faucet is very sensitive so it is difficult to make it work right. They also served spoiled carrots at happy hour. The front desk rarely picks up the phone when you call for help from your room. In good news breakfast was good?

Old building and it shows, rooms feel old and maybe not kept as best as they can be. For the price maybe a little less than expected it's a good option for short stays because of location. Expected more from Hyatt brand.

Maybe this is unfair because the place was under renovation when I was there, but it was a real mess. While atrium was torn up. Check in was a temporary desk on a side room. I generally like Embassy Suites but until the renovation is done I d stay somewhere else.

They messed up my reservation. Expensive to park... no free wifi. Very slow front desk check in and out. Took them about 2 hours to get my reservation straightened out. Bathtub was dirty and paint was peeling off around the drain. Sliding door was open upon arriving in the room... very hard to open and close the sliding door. Housekeeping did not dust the room, change the sheets, did not replace our used glasses and did not remove all the trash from our room. I stepped on a screw that was laying in the floor next to the bed.

The room was clean, but service is poor. We were on the top floor and the A/C does not cool the room. Everyone up here says the same. The shower doesn't drain so it got very slippery taking a shower. I ordered extra towels when I booked the room. They weren't there so I called twice for them before I went down to the desk to get them. Just very sub par for a room that wasn't that cheap. EspeciallY for a Hilton property

We loved the inside of the hotel and the staff we encountered were friendly. Our bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. My only disappointment was that breakfast closed early on Thursday and we also didn't see the green hang tag for our door until our second morning, so we missed out on 1,000 Hilton points by not having them clean our rooms. I would have gladly hung that, had it been placed in an area that's visible when you first enter the room.

The modern rooms are very nice. It was great having a door to the bedroom. Excellent for families who get a long size bed with a good out couch.
The hotel lobby is wonderful and relaxing. You can go and walk by the beach.
The complimentary breakfast was above and beyond with made to order omelettes with warm sides, with other items for people on the go.

Room was big and clean. Breakfast was good, not great, but it's awesome that it's included. Staff was friendly. Although my coworkers and I got conflicting information about everything: parking, time of happy hour, and time of breakfast

Room was spacious, with appreciated amenities such as a fridge and microwave. Beautiful bay view of planes coming in and out of SFO. Cocktail happy hour was quite welcomed! Not a 5 only due to breakfast service, but what can you expect for only $300 a night!

The room was nice and the hotel was about a 10 minute walk to the train station. The hotel had a welcome reception at night that really needs to be redone by someone with a better hospitality background. I stayed at both airport embassy suite locations this past week and although both were pleasant overall, the waterfront location was slightly better.

Hotel close relative to the airport. Lots of rooms and conference rooms. Perfect for a company event. Layout is nice with sufficient number of elevators for all nine floors. Open areas have lots of plants and nice sound of water from fountains. Didn't have a chance to use bar or breakfast due to travel times. Shuttle was convenient but driver could improve his customer service by providing a smile, greeting and announcing the stops. Front desk staff were polite and helpful. Room was a little disappointing; stayed on the 9th floor. Both fabric chairs had there fabric peeling off, ceiling spackle was cracking, bathroom door was bubbling from moisture, the bathroom tub had a unknown 1/2 in open hole/fixture on ceiling that makes you think there could be a camera, and bathroom light fixture had visible light corrosion. Water pressure from the shower was dismal. Unsure if this is purposeful for water saving purposes or head needs to be cleaned; although I did try to adjust the head pattern with no luck. Noise could be an issue too if there is a lot of people on the ground floor. From inside the room, you could tell people were talking and having a good time but wasn't loud to be a disturbance. Overall, room needs maintenance and is slightly dated as other reviewers pointed out. Outside of the room, the overhead beams were covered in dust. One would think they would clean at least once a quarter. Checkout was easy but lady who checked me out didn't ask how my stay was or offer a receipt. I did report to her the issues and she said she would notify maintenance. Overall, my stay wasn't up to snuff compared to other Embassy Suites I have stayed.

The hotel is on the edge of the beach with very nice views. You can take your tea coffee and sit in the garden and watch the planes take off and take off. The proximity to the airport is quite good. It takes only 15 minutes to the airport. There are also shuttle services to the Burlingame A and the Airport. The evening hours are between 5 and 7:30 am happy hours. You can enjoy free drinks and cookies. Pool and fitness room are available but not preferred for being small. The breakfast is nice but sometimes it is so thick that long queues can occur :)

Make sure you don't get rooms at the eight floor to hear every plane land and take off.
Room conditions are ok, i liked the fact that you have a microwave (not many hotels offer that). Everything was functional, a bit old but clean. Nice view, breakfast ok. Interior court yard was nice but not sufficient for everyone. When the restaurant plays music it's like a carnaval. Staff is friendly.

This embassy suites was not the best out of all of the embassy suites that I have been to. My family along with my friend and her family did not have a good experience at this location. We have stayed at the embassy suites in La Jolla San Diego, Oxnard, CA and Downtown Atlanta, Georgia. This location has a gorgeous view however it lacks customer service. I rated this location as 3 stars because the view, the comfort of being in a suite is great! Where else can you go for breakfast and happy hour in one location!

For breakfast, expect to clean up after the person who ate before you because there is probably one person working the tables. Oh and if you want a fresh made to order omelette, they will ask you who the omelette is for if you are getting another plate for your spouse (because your spouse is obviously cleaning the table while you were in line getting the omelette) with an attitude. Be prepared for each line that you are in for either hot food or made to order omelettes, they will ask you for a voucher which in inconsistent and there isnt a point. We were there for 4 days and 3 nights and encountered the same issues for breakfast every morning.

For happy hour, ask for Armando! The funniest and personable staff there! The restaurant crew should definitely learn from Armando.

If you have to pay for Wi-Fi, dont pay for it! Regardless where you were located the Wi-fi did not work. I think I used up most of my data during my 4 day stay there with Wi-Fi!

This Embassy Suites the great place to visit. Very romantic site on the water. Service today at the gift shop was very poor. The clerk ignored the customers as she was texting while she was working. When I went up to pay for my item she made change one-handed because she had her phone in the other hand. She stopped in the middle of making change so she could text more as I waited patiently. Understandably she also gave me the wrong change and seemed a little perturbed at me when I asked her to verify the amount. I I noticed she also had earbuds in maybe listening to music. This seemed pretty unprofessional for an embassy suites in the hospitality industry. Also noticed that the bartender at the nightly reception discontinued service just before 7:30. Several people approached her before 7:30 and she said she was already closed. Again pretty significant faux pas related to customer service in the hospitality industry. Pretty tough night for a hospitality at the Embassy Suites at the San Francisco Airport.

Elevators were broken, small, or non- functional. No obvious stair signs. Stairs we did find lead to outdoor laundry room, where we had to climb through bushes to exit. Someone was throwing fireworks at us from balcony. Long lines for getting help. $30 for parking.

Embassy Suites is a pleasant hotel in Burlingame.

Embassy Suites is a pleasant hotel in Burlingame.
The place is close to the bay.

The rooms facing the bay provide an excellent view.
Notably, the view of two aeroplanes approaching alongside for landing, at the San Francisco Airport is unique.

All contemporary facilities are available in the hotel. Rooms are spacious.
Complimentary free Wi-Fi is possible, but one needs to opt for a premium account for extended browsing.

The happy hours for food & drinks is another attraction.

The vehicle parking is chargeable.

The stay could have been better, booked a premium room with the free snacks, but when I checked in they gave me a different room. Supposedly was an upgrade to a room with a view, but I checked in late and had to leave out the next morning so didn't get to enjoy it. A couple of times I had to call down to the front desk for stuff like a missing remote, ect, ect, and it took them forever like almost an hour to bring it to my room. I'm pretty sure it's not always like that, but this was the only time I stayed there.

We reserved a room with two beds and a bay view. Was given a room with 1 double bed for 4 people. Staff refused to help fix it. Our car was hit in the lot and we were not allowed to see surveillance footage. People in room next door up until 4 am screaming about soccer. Terrible. Terrible. Will not book again and we had become accustomed to staying there when we visit the city.
