Great deal on drinks and oysters during happy hour. Great service and a nice view of the harbor. Will be returning.

Wanted to get some seafood that day..purchased the fish tacos...they were very dry. .but I liked the jicama that was served with it.

Drinks were good but expensive, filet mignon was under season and over cooked. They claim to validate parking!! We were told to insert white card and then blue card to validate. when we inserted the white card it said $8 , but when we inserted the blue card it raised our total to $10. It's the opposite of validate parking. Only acceptable park was service

Set a reservation for my boyfriend's birthday. They created a special menu and let me drop the cake off earlier in the day to be served at dinner. I had been there once prior and again the food did not disappoint. The ambiance is upscale casual with the room dimly lit. They also offer outdoor seating with a view of the harbor. The calamari was delicious with jalapeno aoili. I would definitely recommend.

Made a reservation for 5:00 on Christmas Day. After being seated, no wait staff came to offer water, beverages, bread... nothing for an hour!I I informed the gentleman at the hostess stand if he could find out what was going on. Still nothing. Noticed the table next to us who had been there before us was still waiting for their food. Unacceptable! Another party was seated next to us and wasn t getting the expected
service and ask for the manager. Nick, the manager, took care of us and the 2 tables around us. Would NOT recommend this restaurant!!

overly priced for no reason. For 1 crab cake is $14.99 (no sides, no bread...nothing) and it was very small AND no lumps. Customer service was great, but would rather go to G&M for a really good crab cake with lump meat AND the crab cake would be as big as Shaquille O'Neal fist....literally!

You will find (in no particular order) elegant surroundings, very helpful staff, quality china, glassware, etc.polite, informed servers. But the star is the food. Came for valentines day dinner with my love, made reservations, which were never noted. Ordered our meal after waiting 20 mins for a waitress, only to be greeted to them not having the cut of meat i wanted, nor any lobster tail that i request in my reservation call be set aside. Our dessert was not available either. It was too "loose" for the chef to serve... all in all it was awful. And $120 bucks more broke

General Manger extremely rude. I come for happy hour once a week. I have never been asked to show additional information in regards to my newly expired license during the pandemic. I was rudely asked to provide documentation from motor vehicles stating that I had an appointment to renew my license. I then proceeded to inform the waitress/gm that per MVA, my license is valid for an additional 30 days after the state of emergency has ended. With a rising number of cases, the general manager rudely told me that the state of emergency ended when the stay at home order was lifted which is not politically correct. Truly disappointed.

Our server, Noah, was phenomenal. Very attentive and knowledgeable, friendly and conversational. Service is top notch. The food, in my opinion, is just meh. I got the ultimate grill entree, and I feel like the seafood was overall very disappointing. The scallops were overcooked and the crab cakes were underwhelming. I really wanted to like this meal, but I have had much better seafood other places. The best part of the meal was the crab dip appetizer and the lobster mashed potatoes.

Loved this restaurant. I had the seared scallops. Delicious. Our waiter was the best very gracious, personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommended this restaurant.

After being seated for 15/20 minutes still no acknowledgment from my waitress. That was the first compliant. Waited another 15 minutes for drinks. No bread sticks or utensils were give to us. Complained to the manager who promised he'll have a resolution in 5 minutes. Never saw him again. Finally, after an hour of patiently waiting we decided to leave. The disappointing part of it all the restaurant didn't have more then 50 people.

Always come here when I'm in the area and it just keeps getting better and better love the blackened chicken fettuccine on lunch menu. Yummy..

I went to McCormick and Schmick s to celebrate my graduation. We were seated quickly. I did make a reservation. I waited 10 minutes and no one even bothered to come over. I had to flag down the hostess to get my waitress. The waitress finally came over and took my order. It took her another 10 minutes to bring me a glass of water. She finally brought my food out and I did not see her again. I had to eventually contact the hostess( who I later learned was the manager), to get my check. And another person brought me my check. Then they never came back again and I just left it on the table. The manager took my drinks and appetizers off the bill, but I did not want that. Even another waitress acknowledged me. It was the worst service I ever experienced at any restaurant.

Really bad experience tonight. Ordered filet mignon and lobster tail. Took forever and came out cold and over cooked. Very, very disappointed. Service was slow. Would have been one star if not for the quality of the drinks.

Service was extremely slow. We got our appetizers before our drinks came. Drinks were fantastic, just took long to get to us each time. My wife and I were told the kitchen was closing during our first interaction with the server...keep in mind we had been there for 15 minutes tops. 9pm reservation, and the place took reservations up to 10pm. We saw at least 3 other couples walk in closer to 10pm. Our steaks were overcooked. By the time we got our sides, we had our entrees sitting in front of us for about 10 minutes. The appetizers, drinks, and atmosphere were the only good thing. Entrees were overcooked...including the lobster tail. They even managed to mess up dessert. Long story short we paid for fine dining, for casual quality. Very disappointing experience.

On Fri Dec 27, 2013 my family and mother were eating in the restaurant and within 5 minutes after taking out her glasses from her purse which was placed around her chair, the purse was snatched without our knowledge. Luckily she was looking for the purse immediately after to place her case back in and noticed it missing. We looked all around in case she misplaced it, but quickly realized it was stolen. We reported the purse missing to management who called the police to write a detailed report. The manager mentioned his staff had pointed out that there was a suspicious guest walking through the restaurant who might have snatched it. He also mentioned he had a surveillance camera which could help. After the cops arrived and we gave our account, we never saw the manager approach us to offer his condolences or any interaction whatsoever. While I know management is not mandated to do anything for us, we were quite shocked that this type of service was being provided at such an establishment. A good manager would have at least been apologetic or tried to help our situation which was clearly no longer a nice family dinner... After getting hit with the bill, we paid the FULL bill and on our way out saw the manager who did not seem to want to make eye contact at all. This is NOT customer service so I do NOT recommend this place to others. How would you like to be treated if you were robbed in such an establishment I ask?

The food, which is a bit pricey, is excellent. As a large party, we ordered a variety of foods and shared tastes. Everything was beautifully prepared, speaking to taste buds and eyes. The views of the Inner Harbor are stunning. But the best of the best night, was the staff! I cannot say enough about the attention, the warmth and the professionalism of good service.
Great restaurant for a special family meal, romantic date or a night out with buddies.

Very disappointing. Fish served on cold plates and was lukewarm. Response from Manager seemed too practiced (unfortunately).

Over priced! McCormick & Shmicks is nice and fancy looking, and their prices would suggest high quality. However I'm fairly certain my mashed potatoes were instant and my crab stuffed salmon was stuffed with shrimp. Drinks are way expensive, gf got a $12 hibiscus mint margarita, it was too tart to drink. Overall I wouldn't recommend them to anyone at thoes prices.

This place.... food was okay. Staff acted very confused like they had no idea it was restaurant week. Male short host was oddly rude. Waitress had to walk to Ruth Chris for a to-go box. No paper towels in bathroom. 2 stalls no toilet paper and it was only 6 o'clock. This retsuarant needs new management or maybe the manager is off today??!!!

Valentine's Day service was awful! Our waiter never said his name, was not attentive, and it was a hour before we even got BREAD! The appetizer took at least 45 minutes to arrive and twice the waiter told us it wasn't his fault the food was late. If I'm paying $200 for dinner, I expect a certain level of customer service and that was seriously lacking.

Website did not explain there was a limited menu (due to COVID19). Did not have specific food that was on the menu (ran out of side potatoes by 5:30pm). Steak had no taste/flavor to it. We did not receive any bread. Mojito was "flat" with no flavor. Our waitress and hostess were cheerful though. Our first and unfortunately last time (thank goodness we had a gift card because the meal was not worth $123). A female manager was informed. Disappointed overall.

Visiting Baltimore, we had an early reservation on Valentines Day. When we were sat at our table first thought was that the sun shades should be lowered; so I waited thinking someone would do it because so many people had their hands over their foreheads like a salute. I finally asked the server to lower the shade on our window, he did and the woman at the table next to me thanked me. This should be standard procedure.
The other thing was the music. I suppose if the music s too loud, I m too old but geez, not what we expected on Valentines...I would expect something perhaps jazzy and romantic, at a white-table-cloth restaurant? Nothing changed with the music.
Food was okay; definitely not the best crab cake in Baltimore. The salad and cocktail was my favorite thing. The service was good.
On the way out I asked my husband my standard question after we go to a new restaurant; would you go back?

We were there for a birthday celebration. Totally enjoyed the experience. Great Sangria. Baked potato soup was delicious. Warm bread, soft butter this is what you want when out dining. Not cool bread and cold hard butter. I ordered from the "Restaurant Week" menu. I had the shrimp. Again delicious. A slice of "Peanut Butter Pie" top of my selection. Had to bring the pie home. Excellent wait staff friendly attentive very positive attitude. All you'd want in an 5 star restaurant

We liked the food, the service was fair, even though we were there at 5 PM, no hassle, hardly anyone else in the place. we had to wait quite a long time for our orders. The problems were two: the PARKING "validations" turned out to be a "discount". you can find better access paring anywhere for $10.00 or less. the espresso was close to $7.00. a little excessive. Nothing here will blow you away, but it has a nice atmosphere. There are plenty of food and drink options.

This place used to be great but I believe there was a change in owners. The food is no longer as fresh tasting and good. They used to be better.

Had reservations & it took 30 mins to be seated. Once seated took 20 mins for a server to come & offer water. Placed order & waited over 90 mins & finally decided that we wanted to leave. The server did come to us when we asked how long,she stated she been asking a d was unsure. She even offered to talk 50% off the bill. After 2 hrs we were tired & went home. This was horrible! Service was beyond SLOW! Will NEVER go again! Idk where the manager was because they never even came to anybody table to say anything. So it's also poor management.

Horrible. Bought $150 dollar bottle of Silver oak. They opened and poured it into a decanter without even presenting the bottle. Never refilled wine glass. Even made a comment during dessert about how good the wine will be. 40 minutes. I admit I got stubborn and wanted to see if he would ever fill it. Told manager, she said sorry.....bad experience.

Small portions but delicious. I was part of a group. And the " head waiter" for our group was not at all a pleasant man. We were given only one dessert option even though I saw several different items in the kitchen. I mention that because it was something that I don't like. But who needs the extra calories. Also, some people in my group were upset because the restaurant ran out of bread we were told. Not being a bread eater that didn't bother me as much as the surliness of that " head waiter."

What a fantastic place it was mobed for the holiday but was seated quickly. For the holiday the menu was just 1 option but that was OK with us. The salad bar is a meal on itself. the meats are to die for and the mashed potatoes one of the best ever. We ate until we got the meat sweats,

Dining brought to you by corporate. Everything was good, and yes I know they have a chef, but the whole thing is a bit factoryish for the masses.

Loved this place. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The food was great and easy to accommodate those with food allergies. I would definately return and recommend to friends and family. The Harborview is gorgeous especially during sunset. I will be back for happy hour ; )
