Visiting Baltimore, we had an early reservation on Valentines Day. When we were sat at our table first thought was that the sun shades should be lowered; so I waited thinking someone would do it because so many people had their hands over their foreheads like a salute. I finally asked the server to lower the shade on our window, he did and the woman at the table next to me thanked me. This should be standard procedure.
The other thing was the music. I suppose if the music s too loud, I m too old but geez, not what we expected on Valentines...I would expect something perhaps jazzy and romantic, at a white-table-cloth restaurant? Nothing changed with the music.
Food was okay; definitely not the best crab cake in Baltimore. The salad and cocktail was my favorite thing. The service was good.
On the way out I asked my husband my standard question after we go to a new restaurant; would you go back?
