I take my family here at least once a year, but we used to go at least 5 times a year (for every birthday and special occasion). We don t go as often anymore for a number of reasons. The food is delicious and depending when you go, you don t usually have to wait long to be seated, but things have changed quite a bit over the years.
My wife s favorite thing there was always the creme brulee, until they started experimenting with different flavors and you didn t have a choice of flavor - most of the time they didn t even tell us it was going to be different. It was always a very unpleasant surprise.
Additionally, they changed the entrance and parking arrangement, so now you have to go through a hotel to get inside and you have to valet park no matter what. To top it off, you can never find who you are suppose to give your keys to. There is no one outside so you have to leave your vehicle unattended if you re alone and go inside to find someone for help. Typically the front desk staff (at the hotel you now have to walk in through) has no idea what to do and it truly makes for a miserable experience.
Then you have the frequent noise coming from the regular concerts next door. It s extremely loud, vibrating and truly miserable if you are looking for a nice quiet evening out with your loved ones. Honestly, the location is no longer suitable for an upscale restaurant. There s no way to enjoy it.
Then there was the last time we went, in which we experienced all of those unpleasantries, and then to top it off, it took an hour to be served, it took a very long time to get our waiter at each interval of our meal, and when the waiter did return, he broken and spilled a bowl ON my mother in law. It was her birthday we were celebrating! He said he was going to make it up to us by providing a free dessert- that didn t happen. We didn t even get a free birthday dessert that they typically provide. We were charged full price for everything, which is fine except that he said her dessert would be free of charge.
We still tip generously no matter how terrible our service or experience is because waiters depend on tips no matter what restaurant you go to in the US. Because restaurants refuse to pay their employees a livable wage, we have to subsidize their pay. I don t like it but I refuse to not tip someone who serves me.
We have been visiting less and less for these reasons. As it stands, I recommend their food, but can not recommend their service, restaurant, location, parking, or really anything else at this time. I feel terrible about it because we always used to love it there; but, unfortunately, things have changed.

No service at all. We were seated, then sat and sat and sat. Finally, a server came by and told us they were "understaffed" and that she would be back in a minute. Five minutes later... nothing. We walked out. Terrible management. Skip this expensive and over-rated poor service restaurant.

My first visit...and it wasn t a great experience. When my lady and I got seated, there were dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware on the table. The hostess quickly grabbed the half empty glasses but the plates weren t removed until I had to mention it. Our server was informative with the menu but wasn t prompt at all. We ordered oysters for appetizers and it took about 20-25 minutes to arrive. The place wasn t packed at all. Our entrees took about another 45 minutes. Our server hadn t stopped by to check on us or even tell us what the hold up was. Finally got our food. It was decent. I had the ahi tuna. She had the rockfish. The whole experience from beginning to end convinced me not to come back. Yelp gave this restaurant 2.5 stars while google gave it 4. I had to experience it for myself. Found out that Yelp was more accurate.

Went on a quiet night, service was struggling and kitchen issues as well. They weren't comfortable serving the Halibut ( I appreciated the honesty ) and then delays, awkward service to follow. I like the brand...but this restaurant needs help.

They were accommodating with openings on Christmas Day, however they ran out of most of what we asked for. We sat and watched a waitress address everyone around us for about 10 mins before another waiter came to offer waiter and see if we had been helped. We sat in the outdoor chairs inside the restarting which resulted in an uncomfortable dining experience, to include getting shocked as I was getting up from the chair. The room was freezing. I thought it was just me u til I noticed the other women in the same section eating with their coats on. When a Waiter was finally assigned to us, he told us about the macaroni and cheese and how amazing it was only to come back and say they weren t serving it that night. (He was a nice waiter, very polite.) I was told about the special of stuffed salmon only to be told that they had served it so much they ran out. I was offered a stuffed rockfish dish instead, however when the food came to the table it was the stuffed salmon dish that we were lead to believe they had run out of. Our dinner took about an hour to come out, and my order still wasn t right. My husband and I both have been sick since last night. Non stop bowel movements, nausea, and vomiting. I will NEVER return.
