Our Master Spa Twilight series 8.3 has been instal...

Our Master Spa Twilight series 8.3 has been installed and running for about 3 weeks and we love it. Master Pool and Spa were very helpful in answering questions about the different features of the spas, providing jet pump diagrams, and pro and cons between the 8.2 vs. 8.3 versions. The company was very flexible in letting us upgrade to the 8.3 after our signed contract and made delivery easy. Pre-delivery discussions were helpfully in determining the concrete pad sizing, that a small crane would be needed and general electrical requirements. We were also able to get the spa a few weeks early for the Memorial Day weekend. Overall experience with the company has been great with the bigger challenges in finding the right contractor to run 220v electrical to the back yard, building a concrete pad and whole permitting process in which we are still working on.

Mater Pool and Spa did a great job facilitating the sale and delivery of our H2X 15D swim spa! I originally purchased a H2X 15 via a wholesale dealer at a sales event, I didn't get to test it because it wasn't filled up. The swim spa was shipped to Master Pool and Spa within a week of purchase and it was ready for delivery. In the mean time I read reviews about the swim spa depth and was worried we would rather have the deeper model. Master Pool & Spa had a demo of the H2X 15 in their showroom filled with water, so we tried it out and wanted the deeper model. Even though our swim spa was at the store and ready for delivery, Kevin changed our order for the deeper H2X 15D model. He quoted us 6-8 weeks for delivery but he was able to get it from the manufacturer and deliver it within 3 1/2 weeks! He also coordinated a 3rd party to bring a crane to our house for placing it in our backyard. On the day of delivery Kevin showed up on time and facilitated the delivery and everything went smoothly. I look forward to filling it up and enjoying it for years to come! Thank You For The Excellent Service

I have been a client of Master Pool and Spa for nearly 17 years including the purchase of 3 tubs from them. I have found the quality and reliability of the Master Spa product to be exceptional. My in store and on phone experience at all levels of the organization (President, Sales and Service) has been wonderful. Stop over to the store and get your's ordered. Great tub. Got a great price at a show in Colorado Springs. Bought LSX 800. Love the different seats and jets. Only issue I have is my electricity bill has doubled. I leave my tub at 104 degrees so I can use when I want to.

We bought our mater pool spa at a sales event last year. The salesperson was really knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Delivery was within 3 days of purchasing, and they were quick and no damage done. We have had several weeks of below freezing temperatures, and yet the tub doesn't require a long run time to keep it up to temp. I believe this is because it has great insulation and a nice cover.

We spent a lot of time looking at everything available and based on features, build quality, customer service and, of course, price, decided on the Twilight 8.2 from Master Spa. They answered every question I had (there were a lot!) and everything that I was promised was delivered to my door. Initially I was very concerned with not having a "local" business to deal with if there are issues but this has been of zero concern one year post installation. Simply put, they have help up their end of the bargain. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a spa.

We heard about a spa sale at the county fairground...

We heard about a spa sale at the county fairgrounds. Enjoyed the experience of climbing into spas to find one that would fit (I'm 6'2"). Had a great time on a Friday afternoon. The spa was delivered Sunday morning. The delivery driver gave us some pointers and left us hi number if we had any problems. Customer support was also great when sides popped out of retainer. They sent wider retainers for all sides.

We are enjoying the spa each evening. We survived two rear-end accidents in late 2017 and resulting back surgery in April 2018. The jets work over our backs to supplement our trips to the chiropractor. Love it.

I had a very good experience buying a hot tub. Very informative salesman. Delivery was timely. Jets could be stronger , not forceful like the one shown to us. I am going to buy the straight jets to replace the swirling ones. Hopefully that will work. Haven t had any problems so far with the spa.

Our spa/hot tub just arrived today! The sales experience was simple and Alex was very friendly and helpful. But the TRUE heroes are Max and Dave who delivered our spa. We live on a very busy street near Uptown and have a sloping driveway along with street signage to avoid. These two arrived on time and were absolutely friendly and professional. They took their time to carefully plan out how to avoid all the obstacles and took extra precautions to protect both the spa and our yard. They even re-positioned the spa after it was situated when I realized I didn't like the position of the electrical panel. And... they did it with a smile - no rolling eyes or bad attitudes here. They showed me how to get everything up and running and offered useful suggestions. They made sure to clean-up and removed all the cardboard and packing materials when they left.... Thanks Dave and Max!

Super happy despite a major glitch which was handl...

Super happy despite a major glitch which was handled very well by the company (specifically by Dave, the hot tub service guy, who was awesome). We'd just bought our Twilight 8.2 at the St. Louis Park, MN store after A LOT of research and sitting in a 20 or so hot tubs (had almost bought an Arctic and a Clearwater but liked the feel, price and features of the Twilight). It was delivered next day (Tuesday) by 2 guys who were super nice and super helpful. We got an electrician out Friday and it was all set to go by Friday afternoon. Then, we turned on the spa and 1 pump wasn't working. We did some trouble shooting and had no luck. We called Sam who had sold us the spa and Sam put us in touch with their service guy, Dave. We left a message for Dave at almost 5pm on a Friday and he called us back. Dave spent over 1 hour trouble shooting with my husband (who is fairly handy). Dave was super nice and ran through everything possible with my husband. In the end, he could only conclude that we had a bad pump. Our options at this point were that we could wait until Monday for a service person to come out or he told my husband that if he felt comfortable, he could remove the pump and if he could get to the store by 8:30pm we could get a new one from him. There was no way I was waiting 3 days to get into this hot tub so I drove it in. At 7:45pm, he gave us a new pump in the box, tested our original pump which was indeed not working properly. He also gave us free filters and chemicals for doing the work ourselves. A few hours later we were in our hot tub and we LOVE it! We cannot say enough about Dave. He was just wonderful. The pump is not made by Master Pool and Spa so, truly, we feel that this was a crazy glitch that was out of their control and they took care of better than we could have ever anticipated. A couple reasons we went with this company was that their parts are local (thus easily replaced), their spas are really nice and the price is very competitive. We like the design and, to be honest, Hot Tub University on You Tube made some very compelling videos and the questions and answers with Chris Wheatley were very helpful. He is a Master Spa guy but I challenge you to find anything else more informative out there. Buying a spa makes you want to throw in the towel if you do enough homework (because you just go in circles and have no idea what to believe). I do recommend moving around your jets to your liking-- makes the spa 'just right" for you.

We purchased a spa at a spa event in 2017. Great experience. No hassle or pressure from the salesman. Salesman were very polite and knowledgable about the product. Delivery was in Two days with no hassles. Electrical connections were easy to get to and well labeled.
We have recommended the spa to our friends.

I look on Facebook and they advertise quick delivery blah blah blah!! Joke they have nothing in stock but when you ask they are THE ONLY ones that have inventory!! Don't buy from here its a joke. The sales people don't call back nobody wants to talk to you after they have your money!!!!!!!!!! TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If i could post that a million times I would!

This was a very smooth and very professional experience with Justin(JD) with Master pool and spa Saint Louis park MN. His vast knowlege of the Twilight series put us at ease so we went with his recommendations and they proved to be spot on, we are very happy with this spa. I would also like to say the two that picked up our old tub and delivered the new, I believe they were Dave and Max, were very plesant and had great attitudes, they really enjoyed their work. Thanks again Master Spa for a wonderful overall buying experience.

Reasons why I love this company:

1. Excellent customer service: This company is not only friendly; they were super helpful. This was my first new spa and learning how to manage it took a bit of skill. However, they helped me every step of the way. So informative!

2. Excellent buying experience: the salespeople were so attentive, but not pushy. I never felt pressured into buying. They answered all my questions and made sure I got purchased the right spa.

3. My MasterSpa is excellent. I did a lot of research and hands down this was the best spa in quality and price. It looks great in the backyard, and it is so efficient. My electric bill has gone down in price as I replaced the one that came with the house I purchased.

I will stay with this company if I buy again and I highly recommend you learn about them. It will be worth your time and money. Again this is a great company!

I recently purchased a spa from Master Spa at a local event in Marin California. When I arrived at the location I was greeted by a very knowledgelble and helpful salesperson. He spent a considerable amount of time walking me through the different styles of spas and completely explained how each worked and the benefits of the different models. He took the time to find out what I wanted in a spa, and directed me to that model. He did not ever make any attempt to up sell me. Prior to my attending this sale event, I had visited most every other spa manufacturer. I was very familiar with most brands and the cost of each. Much to my pleasure I purchased a Master spa for literally half the amount I would have paid for another brand. The spa is excellent. The pumps, the heating process, the filtering system, all superior to the other brands I looked at, and less expensive. I purchased the spa on a Sunday afternoon, it was in my yard on Monday morning by 10am. I did need an electrician to hook it up, but I would have needed that for any of the other brands. Lastly, the delivery company was excellent also. They were on time, neat, removed my old spa, and left the yard in perfect condition. I am very pleased with this purchase, I would highly recommend a Master Spa to anyone who asked. I'd like to thank Master Spa for their professionalism, for providing a quality spa, and providing great value.

We have been happy with our spa however everything post spending $10,000 has been a poor experience. The delivery was unprofessional, young kids who knew nothing about set up and literally dumped the tub off in our back yard, purchasing wifi modules from the store that the sales rep knew nothing about operating, requesting service for the past 9 weeks with zero support. They are helpful to get your money and nothing there after.

Salesman on the phone was extremely rude and condescending despite website stating they welcome phone consults and to call for pricing. I honestly cannot recall ever being spoken to so poorly on the phone and so clearly being made to feel like a complete bother to the person with whom I'm trying to conduct business. When looking to spend $20k+ it's an easy recommendation to go elsewhere especially after reviewing the Better Business Bureau complaints.

Got a fantastic deal on a fantastic spa, and it was delivered ahead of schedule. Our electrician hooked it up following the provided instructions and it's running perfectly. The jets in our new Legacy spa are so powerful and placed in perfect positions to massage our sore back and leg muscles. Ordered a cover roller bar from Jake and got a nice discount. .Josh was super friendly and helpful, answering any and all questions we had about our new spa. The staff were very helpful and straightforward and master spa offered better prices than other local spa retailers I looked at. They also included filters, all the chemicals needed to start out, and a very nice quality cover with the price of the hot tub. Highly recommend!

I have always had a Hot Springs brand spa for several years. We moved and left our spa with the house, so we were in the market for a new spa. We were looking at local dealers and heard of s traveling spa show nearby. We decided to go look at these spas, which were Master Spas. I never heard of Master Spas in the area we live in, but the salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. We returned home, and I began researching Master Spas and learned of the quality, durability, and they were made in the USA. We decided to purchase the Master Spa Twilight 8.2 series, and it is one of the best decision we have made.

Called and scheduled an appointment with Sam from Master Spa on I-394 in Minneapolis MN. Sam was supposed to show up at 6 pm on a Friday. We were trying to deal with moving into a new house, ye, we re-arranged things to make this happen at that time. We sat around for an hour. No Call No Show. Went to the store on Saturday and "Oh there was a customer and couldn't make it, and he should have called. oops" Ok, so Sunday at 5:30 pm, I asked that question of him twice! Again we sat around waiting when we had plenty of other things to do. 5:29 get a call and "Oh he's got a dinner with his grandmother and can't make it." What a bunch of unprofessional liars! Again Do not trust these people to be professional or tell the truth about anything!

We ordered our 8 x 8 spa ~ 6 weeks ago from the Canterbury Spa Sale and are pleased with the product. However, the response to voice mails is less then stellar. Over 4 weeks I've left 2 voice mails. After the first voice mail was in the box for 3 business days I stopped by the store. I was able to get my questions answered. Recently I just stopped at the store after a full business day. The product and the customer service seem to be great, once you can reach someone.
We previously have had 2 Cal Spa's, and a total of 3 leak repairs over 4 years. Reviews lead me to believe this spa will have better longevity. I'll circle back in a year or so with the update!

Very impressed with Brett and the folks at Master! We had a fantastic experience testing out the swim spa options, they were very accommodating to allow our children to try it out in store. We are anxiously awaiting the delivery of our purchase and look forward to working with Master Pool & Spa for our future needs. We have also referred multiple friends and they ve shared the same experience.

We were very happy with the entire process. We were not pressured to purchase a spa. The salesman took his time with us to show all of our options and gave us his phone number at the time of purchase. Each time we called he answered his phone, just like he said he would.
They called us to schedule delivery, we didn't have to call them. When we were finally ready to have the spa delivered (we had to get a pad poured) they worked to get our spa delivered from Minnesota to Texas even though they didn't have a scheduled delivery on the books. The process was painless.
The coupon they gave us to purchase a cover lifter did not expire, even though we waited months later, and was delivered in a timely manner. We recommend Master Pool & Spa.

I purchased a TS series 87.3 Spa from Master Pool & Spa last November.
Sam and Will were very informative and went into great detail explaining the different models and their features. We decided to purchase a TS 87.3 spa. The spa was delivered on time and the delivery personnel took the extra time not only to place the spa correctly but to explain start up and matainence procedures to ensure we had a good experience. We have used our spa on a regular basis and have had no issues.
Overall Will Sam and the delivery personnel did an excellent job with customer service and we recommend their product.

We have called at least 6 times to have service come and shut down our hot tub for the winter. Have left messages every time and no response what so ever. It would be nice if they would at least acknowledge us. Worse service ever. As we have read reviews, they rarely ever try to correct what's wrong in the bad reviews. Great way to lose customers is with terrible servic . People take to heart what others say about a business.

The sales experience was great. Bought a hot tub and it was delivered in 6 weeks. Dealing with our salesperson after we purchased is a little bit of a different story. Before you buy, they bend over backwards for you. After you buy, getting ahold of them is difficult at best. Had to call and leave multiple messages for our salesperson (Jason) for him to call back. Other than that, it was a good experience.

My husband and I were very pleased with the customer service we received from Dallas on Wayzata Blvd. St. Louis, Mn. He took the time to go over everything and I have had no problems with the spa. I'm still working on getting the chemicals so they are right on but that is an ongoing issue for me. I would highly recommend the spa to any of my family and friends. I use it for joint and muscle issues, bonding with family and relaxing.

I spent 2 years researching hot tubs/spas/jaccuzis after a jet ski accident injured my back. I bought my hot tub from Master Pool & Spa about 7 years ago at a trade show in St Paul. I have never been in a more therapeutic hot tub. It has had a few glitches (mostly self inflicted by children) but with every issue they have been there for me. The team at the facility in St Louis Park MN has the best customer service and support within a business that I have experienced in years. Their pricing is reasonable. The cost of ownership is very reasonable - I don't see much of a jump in my electric bill and I keep the temp set to 104 in the winter! I would recommend this company and their product to anyone looking for a hot tub/spa. I felt I needed to write this review after their help yet again last week. I want to personally thank this company for all they have done to help me keep my hot tub in excellent working order.

I purchased a spa at the Canterbury Park Spa Pool and BBQ Show on 9/2/2019 for $8917. When I got home, within two hours, I realized the tub was to big for my deck. I immediately called Austin who sold me the spa and told him I had a problem. He did not return my calls. So first thing in the morning, on 9/3/2019 I called the number on my receipt for Master Pool and Spa. I then spoke to an individual who told me that THERE ARE NO REFUNDS!! I explained to him that this hot tub was to big for my deck!! He said I would have to purchase something else from them. I told him I didn't want the smaller tub, the deal I had made was for the 84X84, not the smaller tub. He told me if I didn't get the smaller tub, he would still be keeping my money. I asked that they cancel this order. I should have 3 days to cancel the order by law. and he just refused to refund my money!! It has now been weeks and still no refund for something I never received and do not want to receive. Please never buy any product from these individuals or there company. I understand why there are so many complaints about this company.

We purchased our Trainer12 HSX back in March 2019. It was delivered in May. Steve and Tim were the salespeople that helped us. We got great show pricing. They were no pressure and professional, and the entire process went according to plan. Even the delivery guys were very helpful as we had it installed in our garage. MasterSpas exceeded our expectations and we are thrilled with our purchase! My wife uses it twice a day for her water therapy and I use it every evening for relaxation and swimming exercise. We had some operational questions and called customer service twice. We got right through to a tech both times. They were knowledgeable and patient with our questions. We would recommend MasterSpas and their products to anybody!

Staff is helpful and responsive although my new spa purchased here had a defective pump (I m told this is very rare) and it was difficult to get them to address it in a reasonable time frame. Otherwise it s been a good product with a helpful staff.

I bought the Michael Phelps H2X Trainer 15D Swim Spa with all the bells & whistles. These machines are amazing & very well made. Not to mention beautiful. The company is very responsive, professional & customer service driven.

The only reason I didn t give 5 stars would be the Training & Setup. If you haven t been a pool owner in the past, your basically in the dark. Even if you have owned a pool, these are different (mine is a 3 filter system), so you may struggle with water chemistry, initial setup & maintenence. I watched the YouTube video s & read the literature provided, but really had to dig & make multiple calls, which, in my opinion, took too much time. Now that I know, this system, it is amazing & easy to maintain. The filtration is the best I ve seen on the market.

Heads up...The local pool store s are not very familiar with this specific swim spas -at least in the Bay Area. My sales rep, John Ross Erickson, found a local certified Master Spa Tech who was able to help me within one phone call. I was/am so grateful for John. He is very helpful, & always returns my calls. Had some issues with delivery & John not only took care of it, but more than made good for the inconvenience. I ve already referred them to a couple people. Very happy I chose Master Pool & Spa.

Worst customer service ever! Sales was helpful UNTIL you drop a huge bundle of cash. DO NOT shop here.

Update, They would only come look at our hot tub that was less that a year old (3 warranty) if I gave theme a credit card in case the problem was something we damaged. When they finally got here they found one of the pumps to be faulty then charged me $90 for a service call. A service call on a tub less than a year old with a faulty pump! Enjoy my money because it will be the last of it you will ever see (and anyone else's if anyone ever asks me to recommend a dealer).

Bought a new Spa at a Spa show in Pomona Ca. And within the first month had problems getting the water to get clear and proper PH. Finally put my Man card down and called for help at Master Pool and Spas.
Just got off the phone with Sam and what an Amazing Phone experience, Usually it's someone that doesn't like there job or having a bad day, But not on this Call. Sam was Spot on and very Helpfull He had my problem pinpointed and had an easy remedy fix.
Explained the process very casual and very understanding method ..

Everyone we have worked with has been very helpful, from the first call inquiring about a new tub through the delivery and with any questions we have had since. Our new Legacy Hot Tub has worked great from day one we have no complaints and highly recommend Master Pool and Spa to anyone looking for a new hot tub.

Ordered a spa at the beginning of August at a weekend spa show in Washington. They took a 50% deposit from me and now 8 weeks later they are unable to even tell me if the factory has started production on my spa. They told me if I cancel the deposit is nonrefundable. Do not buy from this dealer. They are not the manufacturer. Buy local instead.

My husband was curious about the Hot Tub and Spa show in Amarillo TX, so we went to look at them. We have had a hot tub for 15 years and it was needing replaced, so we ended up buying one at the show. Great pricing and they even took our old one out for us. Great overall experience.

I needed to purchase some filters and had some questions the man who took my money was rude and unprofessional. He made me feel stupid and told me to read the manual pages 40-41. He was also rude to my husband last year. He needs to take a class on customer service and how to treat and talk to people. I do not intend to spend another dollar there on any supplies I will find another source for my supplies.

I started to buy chemicals from Master Pool & Spa a year or so ago. I have been very happy with their prices and customer service. This spring I knew it was time to replace my cover AGAIN! It was sagging, moldy and was so heavy it bent the brackets till the broke. Kevin and his team at MPSpa told me about this new SmarTop cover and I am so HAPPY! He told me he s not a water expert (in the wrong profession?) and to call back later when Sam was in. He sighed on the phone a number of times and hung up on me. I ve spent a lot of money here and would think they could answer questions on water quality

I would highly recommend you go elsewhere for your hot tub. The salesmen were condescending, unhelpful, and do not return phone calls without follow-up. The hot tub cover failed and began to disintegrate within four months of my purchase. Instead of replacing it entirely, they sent me another fabric cover which I had to repack piece by piece with the insulation parts. I was also overcharged after a verbal agreement to a lower price. I would never patronize this place this place again nor recommend it.

Our Twilight series hotub is absolutely amazing. We use it daily. It's like having our own professional masseur. The spa has therapeutic grade jets for all areas of the body. I'm especially fond of the neck, shoulder and foot massage. Since using the tub I no longer require chiropractor care. Excellent investment for one's health.
Also, the Master Pool and Spa team have excellent customer service, available to answer questions regarding water chemistry and solutions. Products available in store or on-line for purchase. Overall very satisfied with our spa.

We've had this hot tub since last fall. Have enjoyed it 4 to 5 times each week in northern minnesota when temperatures have been below zero and it has been good and hot(104). With the warmth of the hot tub and the pulsating jets and the stars in the sky....what a life. Has been easy to care for and we LOVE our hot tub. No problems at all.

The salesperson Patrick in Pleasanton was great to work with. We did have some issues at the start of my Spa installation. When I received my Spa it had some scratches on the Spa panels. I notified the company. They had no problem sending the replacement parts as soon as I filled the warranty. A month later, the motor pump went out. I called customer service who refer me to service company closest to my area. Note: Please make sure to check how far your service rep is located. Mine is far and they will charge you travel fee if not covered in your warranty time frame. Mine was this time. The replacement part was 2 1/2 weeks out. When Charles from Coastside Services came to repair and replace the motor. He did a fantastic job. He provided great information what to check for and to maintain Spa. Ever since Charles fixed our Spa, we have not had any problems. We enjoy our Therapool D!

I purchased the Inspire spa at the Pomona Fairplex and got a good deal. The deliver went well without any problems and I was up and running that night. It looks great and feels just as good. My family enjoys it about every other night and feel relaxed. We got our first electric and water bill and there wasn't much difference from last year. I hope to enjoy this for many years to come.

Went in on a Saturday to check out some tubs. There were two other couples there getting service. We waited around for about 20 minutes without help, and having 2 kids with us, we decided to leave without being helped. The showroom is nothing impressive. We had to park near the back where there were deteriorating covers and outdated tubs sadly laying in piles molding or rusting out. The Chinese buffet next door smelled so bad, it certainly didn't help but add to the disappointment. All said we felt comfortable leaving and won't be buying from them regardless of how good/bad the tubs are.

We have a Trainer 15D and love it. The only struggle in the process was communication. After I connected with Dallas, everything went as smooth as possible, and he helped a lot! The spa itself could not be better, our family enjoys it 4 nights a week, minimum.
