The view is good ... but unfortunately the parking lot is narrow

I tried their dessert yesterday. Looks like a cake but it made from ice cream. So delishhhh. Better to share with one friend because the portion is quite big. Awesome.

Cleanliness and service need to be improved a lot. When I checked in, i found one of the cup was not washed (dirty), and had coffee stain. I called the guest service and asked for the housekeeping to come to my room (i wanted to show the cup), but no one came in. 2 of the bath towels had some stains, not sure if it was replaced during check out time.
Its not a good experience for a 5 starts hotel.

The good side, My room was beachfront which was good and could hear the sound of the waves.

A recommendation for friends who want to vacation in Bali is an amazing place

The WORST experience ever! They send a link to pay in advance, we transferred the first 4000 euros, but they don't accept euros, so their bank put it on a depot. When we arrived, they told us, that they haven't received anything.. So we tried again. They gave us a wrong bank account.. So the next 4000 euros away. We payed 10.000.000 rp to be able to stay for 2 nights.. They told us to wait until our money will arrive.. Then we talked to some guy at the reception, he gave us different bank details.. We transferred again, in rupia (another 4000 euros btw) but it was their account for dollar.. So nothing happened. We payed another 10 Mio rp for another 2 days.. Nothing happened.. Then they gave us 2!! Wrong email addresses to send the confirmation from our bank to.. Then they gave us their rp account details.. But with a wrong Iban, so another 4000 euros away.. Then we payed another 10 Mio rp in cash..
On our 6th day they finally had been able to give us the correct bank details, so we could transfer dollar to their dollar account.. (all together 20.000 euros had now been transferred.think about it.) we called our bank about 10 times, always asking why it takes so long or what is wrong.. And the bank assured us, that the money was always sent to them and should have arrived..) they only should have made 1! Call, to allow their bank changing our euros into their preferred currency. 20.000 euros and they handle us like we are unbelievable stupid.. And another 1800 euros in cash. and the best, today they asked us (if we don't mind) for another 10 Mio rp in cash.. Just to be safe. But actually now we mind. We have never seen the manager, they always call him, even though he sits in the room next to the reception. Today I became mad and asked for personal contact to him.. But the guy at the reception Kept telling me that he is in duty today, but he was not able to answer any of my questions.. He must have been kidding.. I hope no one will ever book this hotel again. Until now it was the worst experience I have EVER made with any kind of hotel.. Oh I forgot, we also had a water damage in our room.. A pipe above our clothing room broke and everything, really everything was wet - clothes, mobile phones, iPad.. They sent us someone from the housekeeping and he told us that this must be condency water and we should turn off the air condition.. There was 1 cm of water on the floor.. Then they put towels into the ceiling were the water was dripping down from and told us to relax because now everything was okay.. I mean really? No compensation, not a single free drink.. (and I would have even accepted that) Save your money and nerves, this hotel is not worth a single cent. Luxurious stay, best joke I've heard in a long time. Not even worth this one star I had to give.

The parking space is very small, the swimming pool is a little kotoy

This is a truly well run and well designed resort with fabulous Beach front and excellent dining. The local shopping and recreational activities are also near by. This is definitely a neighborhood for walking and the traffic is rather heavy, but once you're at Anantara why would you want to leave. Beautiful well appointed rooms. We loved it there.

The hotel is good, perfect ... just if booking dinner guide can't get service!

Fantastic service during my stay, pretty good location, great room, great variety for breakfast and also very nice and friendly staff.

All around wonderful establishment!!! Everyone was welcoming and always smiling. The views were amazing as was the hotel.

What a great place to stay! The hotel has a beach on its one end, the staff is super super polite. The food is amazing! Although there's a limited menu for the 'vegans' but other than that, its amazing! The ambience is very pleasant, and one should definitely select this resort to have a relaxing vacation.

Situated on the beach... 5* hotel. Yg harus dicoba adalah menu2 yummy d Moonlite Kitchen n Bar, roof top resto nya Anantara Seminyak for sunset and Wild Orchid...

The hotel is good directly facing the beach. Great for hanging out with family while enjoying the sunset on bean bags. The food is also good. Recommended!

Cannot Fault. Value and Service is A1. Have stayed at the Anantara many times. Location on the beach is excellent, food quality and choice is highly rated also if you chose to eat in. Small convenient stores are a short walk away along with the additional choice(s) of places to eat. Highly Recommended. You will not be disappointed. Excellent value for your hard earned money.

Perhaps one of the most amazing rooms I've ever stayed in. The hotel itself just needs a little TLC and room cleaning needs more attention. But they are doing a good job!

The location is good, however the first moment you enter the lobby the bad smell is not a good first impression then the pool is too dirty and the staff is not trained as it should, that's shocking for Anantara as a brand

I ve been there on 2014, I m writing this review just to tell you: go for it. Great food, location, service & view. If you are looking for quick bites or a main course nearby, everything around you at the beach can be reached by a 5 minutes walk.

Getting old but well maintained. The rooms are huge and the bed comfortable. The rain style shower was very relaxing add was the outdoor jacuzzi. We had an ocean facing room and so could enjoy the sounds of the waves at night

The best hotel in Bali is so far ... the view is directly to the beach, if you want to see a nice sunset n photos, here is the place ... the restaurant is also recommended besides the food, you can also make a good photo spot especially when you are sunset ... when it was honeymoon we tried it the crabs at Moonlite ... amazingly delicious ... !! Pastii there again next time

The place is located in one of the popular beaches in Bali. You can enjoy a great view from the rooftop restaurant too.

We stayed for a couple of nights during the pandemic for honeymoon. The hotel facilities were indifferent or ordinary for a 5-star hotel. I was surprised the hotel lobby full of sand and the floor is not being swept. we received a complimentary massage and welcome sweet drink (strawberry milk and lemon grass-ginger juice)The room was large with typical old hotel. We stay at ocean front room with a private pool. However, the private pool was kind of dirty with leaves and moss-grown on the bottom of the pool. The only pool that I enjoyed in the pool that next to the restaurant that we are eating breakfast. The breakfast is ala carte breakfast which was good but not many options. You can choose Indonesian style breakfast like nasi Bali, nasi goreng, mie goreng or western style such as American country-style breakfast with eggs, bacon, roasted tomato, sausage, and toast with jam. The pineapple and watermelon juice was fantastic. We stayed at Anantara Uluwatu Bali the following day which much better options for our honeymoon since the Anantra Uluwatu hotel is much newer and better view ocean view.

Hands down my most favorite hotel in Seminyak! The staff is extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful! The rooms are everything one could hope and want for in a room- immaculate, extremely comfortable, designed impeccably, and simply beautiful! The pool is lovely, and the restaurant is divine!!!

During my 6 weeks holiday I visited the terrace near the swimming pool of this hotel almost every day as a visitor not as a guest. Of course I had to spend a certain minimum amount for using their facilities.
It is not only the location, next to the beach and on walking distance from my accommodation, which made it attractive for me to keep coming, but on top of that it was also the level of service and the quality of the kitchen.
Very friendly staff, always prepared to give you their best attention. Only one remark: it is rather difficult to stay out of sun because of the fact that the umbrella and the chairs are not that flexible to move away from the sun.
If there is a next time in Bali there is a reason to consider this place again, but as a guest .

I did a yoga class. Daily yoga class at 7am. I found the hotel spectacular.

So loving it, you won't be able to find other hotel resort or villa 1KM from here and get same nor enchanting than this place, it was an old hotel but they're keeping thing renovated the only thing missing around here is and the only one is STANDARD, basicly on everything let's just keep rolling one by one from front to the back of this grand Palace of anantara seminyak

Its all basicly on my opinion so look from my opinion before you judge it

Shuttle (payable) : if you pick up someone from airport, do you think its a proper etiquette to wait the guest at the parking lot in your car? Or it will be great if you waited and hold up your hotel sign at front of arrivals? Tell me

Building design : it's old and shabby and very strange but who am I to judge if I only stay 3 nights

Front desk : yeah it's not literally on front or first sight of hotel and it's literally us (guest) have to pick they up

Restaurant : basically you'll only hear what's your room number like once or thrice at hotel or just a few dozen time at an old hotel like this and their server and all restaurants staff seems only to be busy with their own world specially after they ask you something like want to drink coffee or tea and you just ask for like a water you'll be waiting area of served.. The food? Im very regrets to breakfasting my intermittent fasting

Public space : like I said on the design + you should ban staff or exact thing to ride lift and make sure all places have direction sign

Room : today house keeping might disagree with yesterday house keeping in laying out my room and cleaning my room it's like they're having some sort of argument to decide what's the standard for cleaning my room like placement of glass, water! And the most of all I tag my bed sheets with some special tag and I found it only 3 night I stay not once my bed sheets been changes that good because I need that kind of relationship with old owner of this sheets and all the flea

Room space : it pretty cool I just need to call 6 time of engineering to teach me how to use their AC, place connect your Bose stuff to tV, why the WiFi is much faster on 3G and 3 times of house keeping to change bed cover that basically have a big hole on it

Room feature : no changing temperature AC, a very hard smell of jacuzzi bubble only before 1 times of everyday you start it, a quick changing water temperature from 80 Celsius to 30 in 30 minutes, a plug and play shower with hidden features only for some users, a slow flush toilet, a non aromatherapy joss stick same goes to aromatherapy water, spacious guests room

Spa : is it a spa or I just put a massaging space in a roof top and decorate it nicely and make sure when you're breakfast you'll be atracted by my staff that being nicely to ask you to book a massage session

Gym : so so

Yoga on morning : cool

Sunset : the best

Hospitality : 9/10

What am I to judge a hotel with a decade of experience and a half staff that have been working a decade over.
