Had a great experience. Was advised by a designer friend to look into higher LVP options before going to the big box stores. Thank goodness I did. Matt managed to find me something in budget that looked fantastic. Our contractor commented that he has installed hundreds of floors like this but this was the easiest. So easy we might try the next bit ourselves! They are the BEST! My house threw every curve in the book at them, and they rose to every challenge. They had to level subfloors under tile, carpet suspended staircases....they had big heavy furniture to move....nothing fazed them! I love how fresh and clean my house feels-and I love walking barefoot on my new carpet. I made a special order for a floor mat with special printing and Mr Matthew Banner was exceptionally attentive to details and communicating with me as the project dragged on for months.
When this special project was finally completed, Mr Banner personally delivered the floor mat to my home. This commitment means all future carpet projects will be brought to Mr Banner at Marshall Carpet one.

WOW - Outrageous service from John our salesman that kept in constant contact through the buying process to assure they matched what we wanted - to Mark - we had a full house of people visiting for the 4th and wanted everything completed -the order was placed so he could have just said not an option but not sure what type of magic wand he has but he made it happen. A 10 day turn around and install! He simply said he would do everything he could and he did. (yes a rare service experience) As importantly, Brian, Ryan, and Jeff came out to install our new bamboo floors and they worked diligently and efficiently with a passion for precision. They all gave 200% and that's the difference. Outstanding quality and service. If we could give them more than 5 stars we would. This was my 2nd time using Marshall carpet. The first time I had carpet replaced in 4 rooms and they did a stellar job. This time I had luxury vinyl installed in my kitchen, half bath, laundry room and basement landing. I was very pleased with the work that was completed other than in the bathroom. There had been a slow toilet leak and I asked that the subfloor in that area be replaced, along with the installation of the tile. They did replace the subfloor, but it's not level with the rest of the floor. I was told that the only way to fix it would be to replace the structural joists, but I find it difficult to believe that the addition of 2nd piece of 1/8" or 1/4" piece of plywood wouldn't have corrected that issue. It was also frustrating that this was not brought to my attention until AFTER the job was completed, when the job lead assured me that I wouldn't notice the difference. Unfortunately, it is most definitely noticeable. Lesson learned, I suppose. I would definitely go back for carpeting, but not for any hard flooring. I will also say that none of the workers wore masks while they were working, so I stayed closed in my office while they worked.

Did a small attic bath renovation with original plumbing fixtures. Short notice before the holidays. Our sales person Banner recommended a heavier vinyl planking material from Mannington that has worked out well. Our contractor installed it free floating. Plumbing is in and working. Looks great. Carpet One got the product delivered on short notice but one carton was the right finish but a different grade. The warehouse caught the problem before we did and Banner was able to expedite the delivery so work was completed on time. Thanks Banner.
We are so pleased with the new carpeting! The installers did a great job and were very professional. And they were incredibly patient with my crazy dog! The only regret we have is that we didn't do it sooner!

A little more expensive than another quote I had received, but the other place was NOT professional. This company listened to what I wanted and we discussed the feasibility. I was able to keep my marble transition. The other place wanted to scrap it for a metal piece...UGH!
Had a slight problem with the grout. It seemed to harden to quickly and cracked in places. One phone call and they came out and fixed it right away, now it's perfect! Thanks

I knew what I basically wanted and he pointed me to the correct area of the store and assisted me personally threw the entire floor buying experience with great knowledge of the products reliability and decor choice. Upon entering Marshall Capet, the staff greeted and assisted me immediately. I informed Matt of my project by showing him pictures of the desired carpeted areas. I was pretty overwhelmed when I started looking around because of all the options. We were looking for a large quantity (1700 sq. ft.) of flooring for our house that we just purchased. The existing floor is all old carpet. We knew we wanted luxury vinyl because we have pets and had recommendations from family and friends that this was probably our best option for longevity and the look we wanted. We wandered into the store and found the luxury vinyl when Nate came and found us. He was extremely helpful and patient answering all our questions. We were looking for a specific product (which they had) but he showed us many other similar brands so that we had options. After talking with them I really felt I understood the benefits of LV planks and what we were getting for our money, and I felt confident it was the right option for us. With purchases like this, it has been my experience that similar stores simply try to sell you on the most expensive option or the sales people will tell you you are wasting your time not buying hardwoods, etc. but I really felt understood at this store like they were real people who also have kids, pets, etc. and understand that this type of flooring is an excellent, budget friendly option.
It was very low pressure and they allowed us to take home large samples to see them in different rooms/ lighting/ etc. Not little 4" samples but large planks that really show you what the floor will look like, multiple planks so you can see the seams as well. We ordered the floor the next week and picked it up by the weekend. They accommodated us picking it up on the weekend at a time that worked for us.
I waited to review until we installed a portion of the product to ensure it was what we wanted, and wow. It's beautiful! and I highly recommend the LV click lock planks for anyone who plans to DIY this. Not having installed any flooring before, my husband and I were able to install a full room and hallway in about 6 hours. The hallway was tricky for measuring, but installation itself was super quick and easy, I Imagine going forward it will be substantially quicker. I attached a photo during and after install for reference.
If for no other reason (though there are many, many good ones!),this place has a friendly dog and she will come get pets from you when you visit. (I think they have a puppy now too! I might go back to visit haha) I will definitely return to order tile or carpet should we need it in the future. I wish all local stores were like this!!

I like that they off-gas all carpeting before it comes to the consumer's home - and since I'm very sensitive, they go the extra step and off-gas longer for me. We cannot say enough good things about the group at Marshall Carpet One in Mayfield Heights, particularly Ryan Wien. Marshall was recommended to us by our kitchen designer as part of our home renovation process, and Ryan was our contact. The floor for our entire home was being replaced; although a small home, it was still a big project. Ryan endured our many visits and sample requests, and answered all our questions. He has been attentive, quick to respond, friendly and compassionate. When he has been unavailable (a day off or vacation), the Marshall team is there for us with immediate assistance and support in his place. When it came time for installation, we had the best. Eddie and Chris were fantastic. Efficient, friendly, professional.
We had a special circumstance with the Marshall team that particularly endeared them to us: barely two weeks after our floors were installed, a fitting in one of our new bathrooms blew while we were at an Indians game. We came home around midnight to find it raining in our basement and half our floors under water. A nightmare. We reached out to Ryan the next day and explained the situation to get guidance. After expressing his shock and sadness for us, he told us what to tell the remediation team to prevent the floors from being damaged during removal. Unfortunately, the remediation team failed to heed their guidance and the flooring in the two rooms in which planks had to be removed was damaged. We knew this because Ryan and Ken came personally to the house to assess the quality of the removed planks. We were going to have to get new flooring and attempt to match/blend new with old. Ryan was a godsend, tracking down the same lot number of our flooring from a different warehouse and getting the flooring to us quickly; he understood we'd barely had time to enjoy our beautiful floors before we were staring at 60 year old laminate again and cleaning up a mess at the same time. He arranged for the same installation team to come out because they knew the home and could best match up the new planks with the existing layout. He and store leadership even worked with us as we awaited insurance payments. There are so many shortcuts they could have taken, so many excuses they could have given to avoid our hassles. They didn't. They were there for us without missing a beat and we are beyond grateful.
You just don't find such dedication to the customer and kindness much anymore but it absolutely exists at Marshall. We will soon be in the process of picking out area rugs and there is nowhere else we'd give our business but Ryan and Marshall Carpet One. Thank you so much!!
