This was my 2nd time using Marshall carpet. The first time I had carpet replaced in 4 rooms and they did a stellar job. This time I had luxury vinyl installed in my kitchen, half bath, laundry room and basement landing. I was very pleased with the work that was completed other than in the bathroom. There had been a slow toilet leak and I asked that the subfloor in that area be replaced, along with the installation of the tile. They did replace the subfloor, but it's not level with the rest of the floor. I was told that the only way to fix it would be to replace the structural joists, but I find it difficult to believe that the addition of 2nd piece of 1/8" or 1/4" piece of plywood wouldn't have corrected that issue. It was also frustrating that this was not brought to my attention until AFTER the job was completed, when the job lead assured me that I wouldn't notice the difference. Unfortunately, it is most definitely noticeable. Lesson learned, I suppose. I would definitely go back for carpeting, but not for any hard flooring. I will also say that none of the workers wore masks while they were working, so I stayed closed in my office while they worked.
