Charming classic downtown city shopping. Beautiful architecture.

Big improvement of store.

Store looks clean and tidy

Wish it was still Marshall Fields, still a beautiful building and beautiful Christmas .

I usually love this store but have to give a poor review. The ladies room near the food court downstairs was just filthy . I have seen cleaner facilities in gas stations. Manager, if you expect to attract and keep shoppers, CLEAN up your store!

Always nice to visit...just wish under a different name...Marshall Fields

Everything in one store! Sometimes and over wellness, a good kinda if there s such thing haha. Could be dangerous to my wallet! Always fun shopping tho!

Not my favorite department store chain out of new York city i never like them wen a question i dont know very sad give one thing the tree in the walnut room is done right not the windows on state street

I like it very much, you can find there everything. It is a big mall which has the main brands of american cloths. I like it very much. The price is good.

For a prime location this macy's left a lot to desire. The store condition was terrible. It looks like they havent clean the floors in decades and the displays were ratty at best.
Macy should have taken note of the sears decline. Store condition is everything.

They took away the atrium, which was one of the only cool things left in the store. :(

Describing those Macy's I'd have to start with historic, and mention how convenient it is to public transportation. I'd also mention that the store is many stories of awesomeness!

Large selection of Calvin Klein dresses and business attire, no street parking, parking is expensive, service is Fast and friendly. 3 floors of great shopping.

I do not like it. Always more expensive than in other stores. I liked only N.Y. on 34st.There inside is very beautiful. It's worth a walk, look. Well, you can choose something.

Well I have finally made peace with shopping at Macy's State Street Chicago!

I had a terrible encounter with an employee on Sunday. In fact it was so bad, that several shoppers came and gave me their names and numbers in case I needed witnesses for when Macy's managers would deal with the situation.

Well, unbeknownst to those fellow shoppers, we could not get a manager to help us! No manager would come out. After 45 minutes we lefts. I went in on Monday and spoke to manager on that floor, who did not apologize and seemed totally uninterested in my situation. Totally unsatisfied with her response, I reached out to the store manage Kim Groth several times but never received a response.

So, I will continue to shop at Macy State Street Chicago but I can do that with no expectations now that I know what kind of management they have from the top down!

Mark down Versace in this location. Nice price on tru religion as well. You don't want to pass this place up.

I love shopping last act... And the coupons make things affordable. Get a macys card and the deals kesp coming. Quality merchandise.

We only went in the fragrance section and were wonderfully helped by an amazing gentlemen called Jeff. He was so knowledgeable about all things fragrance and talked us through so many options. He was patient and extremely helpful and I wish I could recommend him to everyone needing to buy cologne or perfume!!!

You can always have fun in this place. In addition in finding all you need. Staff are always glad to help you at all times. You can always grab a dink on the lower floor and have a great time.

Great Christmas experience to do see the tree on the 7th floor. But the restaurant is always jammed so go up to the 8th floor and look down on it.

And get Frangos mint chocolates from the boutique on the lower level. The wine shop down there it's good too.. Really interesting selection of great wines from all over

Stressful and overpriced. Lots to choose from can also be overwhelming. The food in the walnut room is sloppy and generic. Their windows are nice.

Pretty unique shopping experience as the building is very pretty. Otherwise, it's another department store. Expectations were met.

Went to check out the walnut room and the Christmas tree. Also did some browsing. Several levels of shopping. Great looking store.

I want to know why the women at the perfume counters don't dress pretty anymore. They are not friendly. Even though I was being helped I feel like I was being followed. When I went to the washroom, one of the ladies that works there followed me. I hate going in Macy's on State Street

We visited the carnival of flowers ... it's a fantastic flower paradise ... thanks to the florists ...

This Macy's (Marshall Fields) still remarkably retains many of the charms of its predecessor and is the sole reason I even shop at Macy's. I do hate that they are Always out of bags and that the parking can be a bit expensive for the area. So buying large amounts can be a bit tiresome. Still my place to go for Frango mints and Christmas gifts as the sales and discounts for card member can be quite good.

This Macy's is huge! It was really cold so we stepped inside and ever up surrendering a couple hours in the basement bar. This place has leaky every article of clothing you could imagine

Store is in need of major repairs. Sad to see what beautiful Marshall Fields has become.

Other than a particularly nasty clerk in Housewares every employee I interacted was professional and friendly. The store was clean and spotless.

Lots of sales, crowded due to Thanksgiving weekend, disappointing that it's not Fields

Beautiful Christmas displays in continuation of the Marshall's tradition. Although extremely crowded during the holidays, they have enough staff to handle the steady flow of customers.

I just love Macy's and there's always something I want there. The only problem is controlling your credit card spending.

Macy's is full of tradition in historic building and location, creaky escalators and elevators included. This location housed the former iconic Marshall Field's store.

This is the best Macy's ever! We originally entered because we wanted to seek shelter from the cold, but we stayed when we realized how fun it was inside. Looking over the escalators down the 7th story was an amazing sight.

What a store. Good food selection 7 th floor. Good historical information and displays.

If you are looking for quality products than Macy's is best option.

I miss when this was Marshall Field's! This Macy's is beautiful and historic. It's always decorated wonderfully for the holidays. It's just so overwhelming to me how big it is!
