Beautiful historic building.

I recommend the Macy's of the Water Tower. This interior in some places is neglected. Bathrooms with clogs and something dirty. It is not the best place to buy clothes ..

Walnut Room a delicious and nostalgic lunch at surprisingly reasonable cost.
Knowledgeable staff and great friendly atmosphere. A MUST for ANY special event.

I didn't buy anything, was just "window" shopping. The ladies in perfumes were very nice and we tried a sample Spritz. Also likes at handbags. Fun visit

Love the notes of Yves Saint Laurent Eau de Parfum The Night of the Man better than the spray Toilet @ Macy's and 15% off deal is worth it.

Very large store. Mervhandise spread out. Women's section dusorfanized. Good sales.

I love the store and the service is great. Good prices and the great brands even for the pickiest tastes.

Now THIS is what a department store SHOULD be. Gorgeous architecture and an amazing Tiffany mosaic dome ceiling. One of my favorite places to visit in Chicago overall. Definitely make time to visit if you love architecture and/or art, and leave enough time to wander around a bit with your jaw hanging open. Make sure you see both of the main shopping galleries and check out the main dining room.

Department store. In Macys you will find everything. Clothing for all ages and excellent brands. Shoes, accessories, suitcases, perfumes, cosmetics and even jewelry. A large warehouse where you can do your shopping. Generally, the weekend has additional discounts. Good option to buy everything in one place. Open to the public every day. Greetings.

Pretty big. Biggest Christmas tree in Chicago. Restaurant inside, the Walnut room, has been told it's a very good restaurant.

The long time of Macy's is long gone. Dirty corridors and toilets, several floors are empty, construction works wherever you look

Massive and festive classic department store. They seem to have everything, including name brand departments within a department. They just don't carry many men's shoes in wide widths.

NY's is big and some sectors are a mess, Chicago's is much better

This is the best Macy's I have been in. Lots of food options. Lots of shopping. Lots of floors and historical interest. Definitely worth a look.

I just...I am not really that into Macy's selection of products, most notably clothing. Nearly everything in the...fluffier sizes looks like I would be ready for retirement age. If I were shopping for my parents or grandma, I would hit up Macy's.

Also. While they have a pretty decent selection of children's clothing, even their sale prices are exorbitant. When your kid will only fit their clothing for 3-6 months (if you're lucky), you can't pay the prices they sell it for. You can find very comparable clothing, even some of the name brand stuff, elsewhere and for less. So while they have a diverse selection, I can't pay over 40 for a sundress that will likely get ruined on the first outing, because babies.

7 on state is great, as is the signature kitchen, but get there before 3pm or you are out of luck. I know they keep those hours because of downtown lunch hours. But sometimes i want food for dinner. Or a late lunch. And weekend hours are less than ideal too.

Get yourself some Frango mints though. Sooo dang good.

A classic stop when you go to the USA, it's kind of like going into "our" Rinascente, it's not too bad to take a look and you could even do good business during the right day and with discounts in progress!

The flower show was really beautiful. A good place for shopping clothes.

I love this place !!!! Always find what I want and sale persons are very friendly. I have Macy s card and I often get coupons . If I don t like what I buy sometimes ..I easyly return. Never ofraid when I buy something, because I can return it easily . We shop there with my whole family . Love you Macy s ! You are the best :)

Bought 2 queen bedding sets. These things will not stay on my bed. Tried both sets and I wake up on my mattress. No issues with other fitted sheets. And the comforters feel awful. Could've just went to Walmart for this quality

Hey Macy's! Way to drive away an almost customer! My significant other and I came in ready to buy a couch. I am the purchaser. 1st: whole floor with a single employee, who was just sitting, leg up at the desk, offering no help. 2: When I approached him and asked him a few questions, he introduced himself....to my boyfriend. Only to me when I offered my hand. He directed all answers to my boyfriend, and offered his card to him only as well. Wouldn't even make eye contact with me. Wish I hadn't thrown that card away so I could give you a name. Wednesday 12/19 at state street! We went to room and board instead thanks for making the choice easy! Extra star for selection I guess?

Awful customer service. I wanted to return the purse. The lady at Kate Spade was free, but then, when she heard that it is return, she asked me to wait for 5 minutes, because she had to work with the other client, and never came back. She is a LIER.

Millie (Michael Moors area) held an item for me and she is from the Marshall Field's days, she truly yielded great/thorough service!

Truly an world class place to shop. A place called home for real shoppers.

Multi-level with small food court. They have everything here and even a bridal Dept.

Good location on State street. Excellent wine department.

Super BAD SERVICE. I had placed an order online, but did a mistake entering it for pick up instead of being shipped to my address. I called the store to ask them If they were available to ship it. Customer Service said clearly YES we can ship it to you and asked for my address info. I called 7 days later to find out about my order, but turns out it never got shipped.

Service was awful but they had a suit that fit and I needed for an upcoming wedding

The Macy's in Chicago is very nice it's way better than the one in PG County we need to step the game Up in PG County

One of the register's in the women's athletic section took forever. The employees are not eager to help customers at all. They don't care how long you wait in line.

The place is huge, so I'd suggest using Google Maps (yes, Google maps has mall layouts). Also, yes, there is a path from the Macy's to the red line. Also, the southshore train is very close.

Anyways, the service was great. The employees know where the specialty stores in Chicago are, so if they don't have your size, just ask and they'll direct you.

The staff in the Men's suit department are always helpful.

Our family dinner under the tree in the Walnut Room was magical. How does Macy's keep the tradition and dining experience so spectacular all these years?!

I liked it. It had a nice variety of clothes and home goods, but the elevator stopped and opened between floor 5 and 6 so I recommend you take the escalators instead.

I love the "Last Act" concept. It makes my trips faster and more productive. I just wish someone would come up with better signage to prevent me from getting turned around and lost so often. A great many store entrances and architectural obstacles can be frustrating. How about a pamphlet of floor layouts available to customers...especially out-of-towners.

It is indeed an icon but I do think if Macy s wants to continue to own it please take pride in retaining the upkeep and beauty of the place and restore it to its former glory. Cracked marble floors in the elevators and shabby walkways in need of paint and refresh. The filthy entrance is particularly offensive and I m sure Marshall Field himself would be appalled at the overall lack of care.

Always find what I'm looking for. Staff can be hard to find here except for the main floor.

The store is very large. A lot of variety of things.

Like all Macy s this store has a very central location and for a city centre flagship store it is also very big. The floor plans are easier than most other Macy s. The cafe and snacks offering in the store are good. The men s department is large and very impressive. The central atrium where the escalators are located is also very impressive. As with all other Macy s sales times are the sale as other stores.

Okay , Macy's Day Parade is not a Chicago Tradition . For me that depiction isn't endearing at all !

Do not let that deter from , this Store having Merchandise imploring a sense of Envy .

And besides the Sunglass Hut is my GO TO Distination for Primo Sunglasses !

Best possible time to go when picking up an online order is between 7pm and 8pm, if you're not a big crowd loud noises person such as myself.

Went to the "Finish Line" on the 4th FL. to get some shoes for my grand daughter. Catherine was very helpful. She measured my grand daughter's feet, recommended shoes and double checked the fit of the shoes we picked out. Great service!

I was able to find the gift I was look for easily. It was some clothes for a baby. We had an Angel tree at work.
