Rangers are Jerks every single time I come out to play. I play this course once a week or every other in the evening and they ruin the experience every time. I will take my business down the street to Ruggles from now on.

30 bucks on a Thursday afternoon at 2pm for a quality course. The par 3s are short but the par 4s are challenging. Greens were true and reasonable speed. I enjoyed my 3 hour round on a course that wasn't crammed.

Much improved. Great local track and worth the trip for those just over the state line, albeit a couple of T-boxes can use some work. The greens have improved greatly especially since the Starter have started reminding groups to repair their divots! One last thing...they have recently purchased new golf carts! The future looks even brighter with this course.

It's a decent course in okay shape. Pace of play today was awful and they have no one there to speed people up.
The layout is tough but fair and fun to play. Although I think it's absolutely ridiculous that the 18 th is always cart path only. They need to find a way to make that hole cart path friendly.

3.5 stars.

3.5 stars.

Potential to be great, but a little rough around the edges.

Greens were in good shape. Nice staff

Cons:
1: tee boxes were quite shaggy;
2: signage/layout not very clear on a few holes;
3: course was overbooked...took my twosome 5 hours to play;
4: bunkers were in rough shape. Tire tracks visible from their mechanized rake.

Horrible staff. I have played their 4 times and every time they treat me like an idiot. The last time I played (today) the guy who took my payment tossed my credit card on the counter and not even towards, as if that would have made it better. I do not recommend this course to anyone and I certainly will not go back, which stinks because I live 10 minutes away.

First time at the course, only played the front nine but had a great experience. Staff was helpful and easy to talk with. Fairways and greens were well maintained. Good course for players af all age and skill levels.

I have been playing this course ~4x annually for the past fifteen years. It has taken a nose dive from a quick-and-fun well-maintained track to a slow motion tooth extraction.

Upon arrival this morning, we were told the course ran out of carts and were running <10 minutes behind. 40 minutes later, we received a cart and were ushered to 1 tee. 15 minutes later, we teed off (3 groups all waiting at the first together).

The greens used to be the best feature of the course - now they re the worst. They were in atrocious shape. The tee boxes were cut to a generous 3 inches - unsure why I brought tees! Could barely tell the difference between fairways and rough both of which merged together in what appeared to be a 3-year-old s mowing prowess. Not a single bunker wasn t a solid mound of clay/cement - I wouldn t dare attach the word sand to trap .

A great six dollar track!

We were charged $48.

Course was okay, could use some work. They were fixing the greens it looked like today, a couple were in bad shape. Fairways were in okay condition, but 18th had really bad fairway, was alot of bare spots and crab grass. We did play from the front gold tees but most of the tee boxes needed some trimming, grass shouldn't be above the tee when you tee up for a driver.

The yardage on the score card for the front tees were not accurate at all.

Overall a great experience...Course is very reasonably priced...small bucket of balls $3.00, large bucket is $6... They have free yardage books and greens divot repair tools. A six pack of good beer was $18 and a good Dominican cigar was $3.
Im a single handicapper (+8) I Played here in early April 2015, The greens were all rolling very true, fairways were in good shape and the course was not very difficult in general. We played the back tees and the course is long, even longer since there was a 20-30 MPH wind all day, but quality shots get rewarded and bad get penalized. Not a lot of OB, but enough well placed bunkers and water create a challenge for even the good golfers. A lot of wide open fairways, that allow for the driver to be hit on almost every par 4, and a few challenging par 3's with carries and elevation changes.
There was a grass driving range, and a small practice chipping and sand area just before the first tee. Since it was early in the season I can see this course getting more difficult once the tall grass grows up and the rough gets a little longer.
Overall I give it a 4 out of 5 and i would definitely return.

Very nice people and went out of there way to get us on the course. Course is a little rough in some areas but layout still challenging. Play from the blues to get full course view and experience. Greens are acceptable to an iron but need to be spot on. Some greens are definitely old school, smaller, pushing to to a risk / reward. They paired us with a player with local knowledge. Helped on points of landing for several holes.

I have played half of the courses on the Audubon golf trail, and this is my least favorite by far. For a 60$ course, they dont seem to have the amenities that they should. The course itself wasnt in horrible condition, but it was not consistent with the other courses on the Audubon trail. Two of the greens had large areas filled with sand. For the most part, however, the fairways were in good shape and the greens were well kept. I think was put me off the most about this course was how unprofessional the pro-shop was. This is a tourist attraction, a part of the Louisiana State golf trail, and the employees in the pro shop did not make me want to ever come back. There was one guy who was particularly grumpy, and spewed profanities unnecessarily. He was rude and very unwelcoming. The lady in the shop with him was cussing about how there were five guys in a grouping and she was not happy with that so she got in a cart to chase them down and change it. Overall if you can keep to yourself and dont mind some grumpy good ol' boys then this is not a bad course, but if possible, I would drive an hour extra and play Atchafalaya or The Island.

Aberdeen High School Class of 77 would recommend Wetlands to anybody. The best REUNION ever. Beth rocked it. Food was excellent. Staff was on point. Table linens were way more than I expected. If you need a venue for any event, you would be a fool not to come here. Coming back at 45. Thank you Beth, and Robin the kids and everyone. 10 stars. God bless you all.

Did not golf, just went to an office Holiday party in the clubhouse. Food was good, could have been a touch warmer. Lots if parking and not hard to find with directions. Decor was nice enough. Not sure what it looks like on a regular day.

This place is now a DUMP!!! I will never go back. The fairways are like the first cut of rough. The tee boxes are atrocious. The management of this place is horrible! It s shame because the layout is great! The condition and management turned a great course to a cemetery. I recommend nobody to go here. But..... I m rooting for them

TERRIBLE. The course was in OK shape. I played in the afternoon on a weekend and there was no one on the course. The superintendent followed me around and turned on the sprinkler heads while I was playing. He did that a few times and then yelled at me for driving on the grass to avoid getting wet. He ruined my experience there and I will not be going back

Staff is friendly, course is in great shape ( unlike me). Great place to have a fun round of golf. Tee boxes can challenge the best golfers or if you are just beginning, you can play from the forward tees.

I made the mistake and they still took care of it!!
Will definitely go back again because of the the way the treated us!!!

The course is in decent condition; however, not to the caliber of their prices. That is about the only near positive thing I have to say. Due to it's close proximity to me, I have played here quite a few times. It's common knowledge amongst all of my family and friends that Wetlands has by faaaar the rudest staff any of us have come across. They treat you like garbage. I would say 1/10 employees don't have a chip on their shoulder. It's a shame because the owner seems nice. I would recommend avoiding this course until they remedy this ongoing problem. Oh and sometimes the rangers will sit behind your every shot, for a number of holes, even while your maintaining an under 4 hour pace.

I played this course today as part of day trip to nearby Southeastern Pennsylvania to visit a friend. My only complaint was the slow pace of play on the front nine--it was astonishingly slow: 2 1/2 hours! On the other hand, after lunch and visiting my friend, I came back late in the afternoon to finish my round. The back nine took exactly 90 minutes to walk---a stark difference from my morning experience.

I'd never played here before and the course was a bit rough in spots, which was not surprising given a long string of 90 degree days and little to no rain. Thankfully most of the greens were in good to very good condition. The layout is varied with gently rolling hills, some slightly elevated greens, several forced carries from the tees, and several sharp doglegs. Water comes into play on 4 or 5 holes and there is plenty of sand in which one can land.

During the week it costs $23 for a senior like me to play and it was certainly worth the price.

Had the first tee time this morning (6:45am). We had a foursome and were told repeatedly that we were the pace setters and how packed they were today. No problem at all. However, we were getting ready to start the 14th hole and an employee approached us saying we were on pace for a 4 hour and 45 minute round (not even close!) and that we have to pick up the pace. He said we have to be done in less than 4 hours meanwhile a round of golf should be no more than 4.5 hours (even says this on their score cards). Fast forward to the end of our round and we finished in 3 hours and 55 minutes. Not even close to the "4 hours and 45 minute pace" we were being rushed for. It's not our fault they were packed...definitely put a damper on the last 5 holes. We had a foursome finish in less than 4 hours. It's a great course, but I wont be back because of this.

I never write google reviews but felt inclined to today because of my experience here today.

My group was continuous pushed to play faster by the starter. We were a 7am tee time and we re playing at an average pace. The group behind us was about a hole behind us the entire round. I believe they ever were waiting for us. The starter said something to us about 3/4 times and claimed that he was not stalking us but every time we looked around he was coming up to check on our pace. It truly made the round unenjoyable.

His reason was because they were short on carts . Several of my suggestions would be to a) get more carts or b) do not book as many tee times.

When we got back to the clubhouse, we were met by a woman who told us we need to be quick with getting our clubs and things out.

The course was had a fantastic layout and was in great shape but will not be back because of the issues mentioned above.

The staff in the clubhouse was very nice and welcoming. This a decent course but when there are "pace of play" signs at every hole and in the carts you would expect to have someone in force that time pace. It took 6 hours... I will say that again... 6 hours for my group of 3 to play 18 because they over booked and had no one enforcing a pace of play. We were stuck behind a group of drunk kids that took 30-40 mins at each hole. They backed up the whole course at one point there were 3 groups active on a par 5 at the same time, one on the green, one on the fairway and one that teeing off, we were 2 groups behind them. That's also not mentioning the golf carts that felt like they were dying everytime you stepped on the gas. For the price and the god awful organization at this course I won't be back anytime soon.

Played course 4/19/2014. Course was in great shape and very challenging. Course layout was interesting with some unique holes. The greens, fairways and tee boxes were well maintained. $46 was a fair price for this course and I would recommend it.

Potential is there as it has a lot of interesting holes. The staff from the pro shop to the grill are nice and friendly. As bad as the tee boxes and much of the fairways are, I was happy to find the greens pretty darn good. I was just passing through and this was my first time playing here. I wouldn't go out of my way to play here again, but if I was a local I'd keep my eye on it with the hope conditions improve
