A really nice store, can be tough to navigate all the floors

Looking run down but a great Chicago landmark. The Tiffany ceiling is really cool but the rest of the decor needs updating

Good items but prices are higher than any other place

Store is disorganized, merchandise typically scattered on the floor and hard to find, long checkout lines, and sales associates are not helpful and sometimes down right rude.

Their brand choices seem to have deteriorated a bit.

It is very big and the same as in Manhattan NYC, and Philadelphia.

It has been a holiday tradition for me and my family to eat in the Walnut room while the tree is up for over 50 years now.
They moved their reservation system on line this year to the Yelp app, but it pays to talk to someone at the entrance to the Walnut Room as well because even tho there were in theory 20 parties ahead of us according to the app, in reality there were zero.

Big Macy store with a decent fast food that is high quality.

Awesome building, amazing architecture. The flower show was to die for! It was incredibly thought out, and the display of flowers was seemingly endless. Absolutely a must see for any tourist, visitor or Chicago native.

Bello sleeps at low prices but is the only one who does not accept the prepayment of the mastercard

It's a department store. No one seemed to know where things were if they weren't in their own department....so....good luck with that.

Best place to buy things or shopping for someone

Went to two floors trying to find someone to check us out and the employees couldn't find a cashier to ring us up. They didn't even try to call anyone they just said they couldn't help us. When we finally found one that was empty they sent us to one where to the line was super long and we had to wait for 20 minutes.

hate hate hate their brand.
inc's and jewelry is ugly, tacky and poor quality.
serivce is terrible. non-existent, rude, and they don't know what they're doing or
what their products are.
their return policy and other credit card policies suck, too many rules.

Departmental store of several floors, good variety although I did not get what I was looking for.

If you want to take a picture of the christmas tree, be prepared to pay for their rediculously priced "resturant". The 8th floor has been converted into offices so you can no longer take photos without having to eat there.

I love this place it is very historic and an excellent atmosphere to be in you can take all day at Macy's there's a lot of merchandise lot of things to get into they just don't do retail but they also have events that one could attend the Walnut Room is an excellent place to eat. They also have an excellent eatery on the 7th floor I especially love getting my wine from Macy's they have a funeral service where they chill the wine for you I love how they patronize Chicago vendors concerning their wine. But to be frank with you I am enchanted with the interior design of the building it is breathtaking shopping seeing chandeliers everywhere gold chrome molding and just the time taking out designing that building even if you're not shopping you should just take a second in stroll in there and just look at the building structure inside throughout all of the floors.

I like this Macy' because it's a department store in a big City. different from a mall.

Go and see it if only for the architecture. (Prices are sky high!)

Bought popcorn " Nuts on Clark". concession. Food for the Goodman theater.

The furniture department is a great place to grab a nap before a show.

Few employees in the sessions. Variety of items did not surprise me. High prices, not to mention the rate of Chicago, one of the largest in the US

Huge beautiful 8 floors store. Last Act counters have very low prices. 7th floor food hall has good selection of cuisines.

We had Sunday buffet lunch (26$/adult) in the Walnut Room on the 7th floor. Old school dining room. Recommended.

Very quiet compared to last year. Macy s Online shopping is really the best it has ever been as of late. Better selection, deals and easier.

Not excited about the closure of the viewing area for the walnut room tree and the windows have not been as good since Macys took over.

Decent store, absolutely disgusting bathrooms at Food Court.

Looking to actually buy nice jewelry, there were 2 ppl working in the store. No one came and helped us and we found something and no one would check us out. Worst Macy s experience I ve ever had, I will never be back.

What hsppened to this store? On the entire 2nd floor, I found 3 cashiers, two had customers from hell and the 3rd rang me out.

My review is for lower level, sometimes I use pedway and stop by Macy's lower level food court, it feels like a different world than other floors and outside, calm and peaceful, not many options, though, but I like sitting there and reading,

Macy's has let the old Marshall Field's store get run down and ratty. We were shopping in Petite's, 4th floor... It was filthy, threadbare carpet, very very dated.

Typical Macy's. Disorganized, messy and hard to find any associate to help you. This is why people shop online. Too bad, though. Located in historic Marshall Field's building.

Macy's is always the best. They stand by their products and protect their customers. I had an issue with a smart watch, had to call the company's customer service line, and they said that they couldn't fix the issue I was having and it wasn't something they thought they should (it wouldn't connect to my phone- my wife's phone, or a couple other phones I tried). I took it back to Macy's and explained the situation and they took it back in a heartbeat. I'll come back here over anywhere else

Macys store somewhat old but with all brands, very well located

A great place to shop and people watch. The architecture and decor is great to look at during the holidays. When you get exhausted, head to the lower level to get some food and refreshments in the cafes. The Walnut Room on the 7th floor is also a great place to visit during the holidays when the tree is up.
