Bought my first diesel from Macke motors, I had Dylan help me and he did a great job. Then it went down hill FAST! As I was asking some questions they answered them, one of those questions related to a single tune done on the truck, if the tune would ever be affected in any way. Sadly I made it no more than 20 days before noticing something was wrong. I took it to my local diesel mechanic and he hooked up and diagnosed the issue. The EGR valve was opening and the tune was corrupt. After reaching out for 2 weeks for help, it took what I thought was a legal action to get a response. When talking to Marc, he openly admitted they did not even look over the truck, no diagnosis. Most likely a poor oil change and POSSIBLE filter change. They don t take pride in what they sell to the public, in a small town. I would think they would try and help me out, but they would only do what made businesses sense, no compassion for customer satisfaction. I even offered if they would pay for parts and I would pay my local mechanic labor for part Install the right way. But they insisted I fix the problem the same way the problem started.. cheap and EASY for them. I will never recommend this poor excuse for a dealership to anyone.

We went in to buy a used vehicle that was outrageously over priced, hence only the 4* rating. We spent some time negotiating the price down to an actual correct cost. The salesman was very professional and actually nice. We spent maybe an hour here and drove away in a vehicle we purchased. I would buy from them again. He was honest about some of the other used cars as well. So we ended up with something that was safe and needed minimal work.

The worst car buying experience I ve ever had! They fight you on financing through them and if you don t finance through them they charge you $1000 more on the car price. Wouldn t budge on price because they lost money on the trade in , why is that my problem they re crappy business people?

I inquired via reply email to the email sent to me by Macke. I was interested in a Camero for my wife and in my reply I had requested some more information from 'Jim.' I stated in the reply I was presently in Arizona, but could have one of my sons come look at it. No response to my email. I sent a 2nd request asking for a reply to my first request. Again no response after 3 weeks. Sorry Macke, but one star is the best I can give you at this point and apparently a No Sale on my side.

I've rated 1 star because that is the lowest you can rate. Frankly, Macke does not deserve even that. The lack of service and sheer awareness of their products is astoundingly terrible.

We sent an online message with a few question about a vehicle and were asked to provide information so that a salesperson could contact us - which is fine. By late the next date, no one had contacted us yet, so we took it upon ourselves to go to the dealership to look at a couple different vehicles. By the time we were on our way, a saleswoman named Missy contacted me. I explained we were already on our way and the specifics that we the type of vehicle we were looking for needed to have AWD, leather, SUV, and certified. I informed her of a specific vehicle that we were planning on coming to see which she stated she would have ready as well as a few others in our ideal specifications. We arrived and she walked up back to the repair shop area where there was a vehicle lifted with no wheels on. She stated the vehicle we were looking at was currently begin serviced to be prepped for sale. I looked at the vehicle and the inside had a lot of personal belongings on the inside, extremely dirty, and did not have the leather seats. Mind you, this is suppose to be the vehicle I looked at online (it was cleaned out, leather seats, ready for sale). I explained to her a minimum of 6 times that the vehicle she is showing me and the vehicle that is online are NOT the sale vehicles, but she continued to not believe me until I showed her the pictures and explained the seats alone are completely different. She looked confused, grabbed a different vehicle for us to look at (not leather seats either) and told us to drive it while she stayed back to review some other things. We explained we liked the vehicle, but again, need leather seats. She informed us that she can't find the vehicle that we were specifically looking for that day and did not know where it was. She stated it was not her fault and someone else told her incorrectly about the vehicle being serviced (she tried selling us someone elses car that was being serviced). After looking at a couple more vehicles, she said that she found out that one of the mechanics drove the vehicle that we were interested in, home to verify it was all good. She said it was be back the next day and for us to come back (mind you this is a 45 minute drive for us). We came back the next day and the first thing she said was "Ya you don't want that one, it has a bad engine". (Mind you, she had my phone number and could have called me). She followed up with "But we have two trade-ins coming in tomorrow almost exactly the same and matching everything you need. Stop in tomorrow and they will be ready. Me learning from my mistakes, texted her before we left the next day is stated " They are both not able to come today. It will be Monday. I thanked her and explained I would be in Monday. Again Monday, I text her before we l;eave and she replies "Tonight so I'll get them cleaned up and would u want to come tomorrow". I replied that would work. The next day before we leave, I text again and she replies "They didn't show up last night they werent done planting. Supposed to be tomorrow. I asked "So we should plan for Thursday?" Which she replied "Yes." Thursday rolls around and again I text before I leave and she replies "I meant to text you. They are still int he fields. I'll text you when it actually gets here. That was May 7th. May 26th rolls around and I have not heard a single thing from Missy. I attempt to call her first (her personal cell phone) and then sent her a text. I never heard anything from her.

Feeling that I was EXTREMELY patient with Macke, I decided to start to look else where. I went to Kemna of Fort Dodge and worked with Eddie. He was EXTREMELY helpful and also patient with us at the same time. We ended up purchasing from him and couldn't be happier with the experience. Macke Motors is absolute laughing stock.

I purchased a two year old truck from them and a week later the service engine light came on. I contacted the salesman and asked if they could fix it and explained that I have only had it a week and have only drove it a couple hundred miles. They said they wouldn't fix it since I didn't purchase an extended warranty and the reason the truck priced well is because they knew the light was on. They must of reset the light before I looked at it since it didn't come on until a few days later and they didn't mention the light to me at the time of purchase.

We have been family friends with Macke's for some time now, and purchase all of our cars there. We couldn't be happier with the service, and we will definitely be back for future vehicles.

Which made me to cancel my neurosurgery appointment to fix my skull. Now I have to wait 2 months b4 I get back in. Anyway I took it to another place & found out its not as bad as wat they were saying. It cost me my appointment plus money for not going. That is a terrible way to do business. never heard of dealerships doing that. I will take my business elsewhere. They just lost a sale, and all of my future business. Words cannot adequately describe the relief felt when your salesman says "Don't worry, we'll take care of it". We had purchased a Certified pre-owned Focus from Mike Deeth in October, and a deer stepped out in front of us on a Saturday night in January. On Sunday morning, Mike returned my call and spoke those assuring words. By Monday noon, we had a newer vehicle to drive till the insurance company finalized the claim. With the help of Mike, Kevin Tigges, Nathan McAlister and Steve Palmer, we were able to finalize an insurance settlement and deal on a great replacement vehicle with no out-of-pocket expense.
No dealership is perfect, but these guys went way above and beyond our expectations.

We paid cash and the paperwork was quick and painless. Our salesman was Dillon. He brought out snacks for the kids why we waited and was very helpful. I would do business here again.

My son bought a truck there, not even a week later the air went out called and talked to the salesman, Dylan and he said he would talk to his manager and call me back. I had to call back the next day and he said the manager had to leave early that he would talk to him and call me right back and never did, so I called 2 days later left him a voice mail and he still didn't call back, so I called there again and he said he talked to his manager and there was nothing they can but if we wanted to bring it there, we are from Lincoln, Ne, he would fix it at cost. What a joke. My daughter bought a car from a Chevy dealer here in Lincoln and a week later her transmission went out and they paid to have it towed to them and put in a new transmission at no cost. Wouldn't recommend Macke Motors to anyone.

Absolutely worst dealer to deal with ever. Sold me a cpo volt sight unseen. The salesman lied about the interest rate before he left, got conned I to signing 200 miles from home and then the car has a bad transmission on arrival. It's now at the dealer here for up to 3 months waiting on parts. First Mark offered to buy it back when fixed and I asked for the deal to be undone. Mark then blocked my calls and backed out of buying the lemon back. Having to go through gm now to deal with owning the lemon and will have to hire a lawyer. Unbelievable for an actual dealer.

He started the car and went inside, leaving us out in the cold to let the layer of ice on the windshield melt. Maybe they lost their ice scrapers???

Good people to deal with. Friendly, with nice clean dealership. The only issue I had was they said they serviced the used vehicle I bought, but they hadn't. Seemed to me to just be a mistake in communication among them. I got it serviced at my mechanic shop. He found the transmission fluid was overfilled fluid by a quart. So it was either overfull or had the wrong dip stick in it. Macke checked and it was the right dip stick so they drained a quart out for me. But non-the-less, it was serviced last at Macke Motors. I'm happy with the vehicle I bought from Macke Motors.
Good place to deal with. They have the best prices I could find anywhere. Took off one star for not having the vehicle serviced.

Bought a chevy Silverado week ago. Check engine light was on and salesperson said schedule a appointment and we will take care of everything and service the truck. The check engine light went off on it's own. It was just the gas cap loose. But I wish I would've gotten that in writing of what he said because I took my truck in a week after I bought it and they said a wheel bearing was going out and I had to pay for it. They paid the oil change and check up but they wont pay the wheel bearing. I can understand after this service it's on me but that's what I heard from him to take care of everything later

Great service on replacing a part under warranty. The service area had places to sit that you could chose to be social distancing from other customers. I appreciated that effort. What I was frustrated with was no mask requirements nor staff wearing mask.

Got cut off on the online chat and then salesman emailed me told me they could not answer my questions. Finally got some more pics of the truck. But had more questions about it since i was gonna be driving 4 1/2hrs one way. Again no response from the salesman. Apparently out of state money does not spend the same as in state. Very unprofessional.

Would like explain how this dealership treat people my 78 Years Mother look online for a suv and found one she liked she test drove the vehicles the air conditioner wasn t working explained this to the salesman ( Sam) he explains that he would have his service people to look at it then gave us slip of paper to eat while they get the paperwork ready and have service people check the vehicle when returning to get the vehicle nothing was done or any repairs done then salesman explained that we can bring the vehicle back they would charge us for fixing air conditioning then with only having two weeks with less then driving 68 miles the alternator goes out 1000 dollar repair.Called Macke explained how can they do this to older people who on fixed income stated they looked at service history and get back with us on options no call back. Very poor service and will not be returning. Still waiting for the return call

Bought my first diesel truck from them and less than 1000 miles have been put on it, have had nothing but problems with this dealership as a whole!! First they lost my license plates from the car I traded in and accused me of having them, which delayed the tital transfer over a month and a half, then the 2 cars I traded in did not get paid off right away, I had to call the dealership to tell them to pay the cars off at the bank because it was looking like I was late on my payments but had traded them in, which I have traded cars in before at other places without ever having an issue. Then I had asked for the truck to be run through the diagnostic system and have the oil changed b4 I picked it up to make sure b4 I bought it that all was well because diesel trucks are so expensive..... they said sure no problem and told me everything was good but never showed me proof....and when I called asked for the records of this diagnosis due to a huge $5,000, repair bill, the manager Jim Steincamp promised he would get to the bottom of this..... never ever ended up calling me back!!! This is your local Chevy dealership at hard work for you...Not!!! I have never in my life had this much issues buying or trading in a vehicle!!! I gave them every opportunity to try to make things right and they never got back to me...... I would never go back!! I will never recommend this dealership... not even to my dog!!! Do not trust them!! They can t handle the paperwork process, and they definitely can t handle being honest or trusted!! Worst dealership ever!!! Never ever go through this dealership!! If I could rate them less than one star I definitely would!!

Terrible. They let a family member take and KEEP a vehicle with only 116k miles as a farm truck when there's other trucks of the same model with over 200k miles. Pathetic, way to take care of customers. Only heard bad things about this dealership and they proved them right. Never dealing with them, ever.

I recently purchased a used truck from Macke Motors. My salesman was Dylan. I live in Minnesota and during my inquiries about the truck there was a check engine light on which I inquired about. I was told by Dylan that the truck went thru the shop and it was fixed. The problem was the EVAP VALVE. Upon arrival and purchasing the vehicle I noticed the check engine light was still on. I was assured that it would clear itself as the problem was resolved the day before my arrival. Hence to say the light never cleared itself and stayed on my entire trip back to Minnesota (250+ miles). I notified Dylan the next day about the light and that I was going to stop into my local dealership to have a look as well as fix a couple more problems that were not disclosed during the purchase but become apparent during my trip back to Minnesota.
I was advised by the service tech at my local dealership that the EVAP valve needed to be replaced and that he could tall some tubing was recently patched but that was not done properly nor did it fix the problem. After purchasing a new valve and labor ($200+) the problem is now resolved...upon requesting that Macke Motors reimburse for this agreed upon fix...I have yet to hear back from anyone at Macke Motors. The honest and equitable thing here would be to reimburse me for this expense which was agreed to before my purchase.

I constantly get emails asking me to rate my experience at their service center. Problem is, I'm not Ricke, and I have never been to there. They have the wrong email. I called to have it corrected and the snarky receptionist told me it wasn't them that sent the emails, it was GM, and there was nothing they could do. I told her that the information in the customer's file was imputed incorrectly and would like to stop receiving emails. She couldn't care less, and was incredibly unhelpful. They really need to be more careful with their customers information

When we came in all other salesmen were busy, so the sales manager (Jim) who normally doesnt work directly with customers selling vehicles, stepped right up and helped us and stuck by us the whole time. We bought our new vehicle so fast and easy. We will definitely be doing business with them in the future!

Was inquiring about a vehicle on their website, decide to use the chat feature on their website, ask sales agent if there was anything wrong with the vehicle, was told he can't give me that info online but then asked me for my email or phone number. If they cant give me a yes or no answer online what makes them think i will give them my personal info lol no thank you I don't want unsolicited phone calls and emails. Lost a customer that would've paid cash for vehicle how hard is it to say yes or no POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I recently purchased my Regal TourX from them and got an awesome deal. Residing from CA and not wanting to fly and drive back, this deal had to be done through telecommunication and transport.
Missy Knowles handled my sale and provided excellent customer service and communication throughout the entire process. The purchase process took over a week due to the forms requiring mailing for signatures, but she was more than helpful in making this a smooth and easy process.
During the transport arrangement process, Missy kept communication with the driver and made sure someone would be available during the scheduled pickup time, even though it was beyond the dealership's hours.
Overall I can't say enough to how satisfied with the deal and entire process/service received from Missy and the team at Macke Motors. Thanks!

However as soon as he got it home ,the transmission decided it didn't want to work anymore .Paid a lot for a vehicle my daughter can't even use !! I tried to email them for a response before going public but didn't hear .

Not a fan of their service department. My thermostat was bad and the tech and service manager thought they needed to argue with me. Tried to say my heater core was bad so they didn t have to replace the thermostat under the (very expensive) extended warranty I purchased. My husband replaced my thermostat and I had heat again. A year later, my heater core is still fine and I still have heat. Will not buy another vehicle here... and I trade every few years

Bought a used truck there. Transmission was out within 48 hours. Didnt even have the decency to return my messages or email. Wasnt asking for them to take care of it but work something out with me. Apparentley Not the small town friendly dealership I expected.
