This is the worse of companies. You sign an agreement, they change the agreement and auto bill for the entire amount with no notification. It is paid off so forget them. Pops, no they start billing you months later. You cannot reach them, you cannot cancel. They work with Redlands Community Hospital as well as other companies. Avoid at all cost, it will only cost you big.

Probably the worst customer service ever. I asked for adult small crutches, they bring medium. I ask again, they bring small toddler. I go in and finally get my size and the guy goes "You finally get new crutches and you don't even use them?". Just down right rude.

This is the only company my insurance will deal with. Which is strange because if one examines the invoice they are charging outrageous prices for simple wound care supplies. If you call cust srvc prepare to be abandoned in hold hell. The shipments were always always always late. In fact, they were so late one month that they shorted me an entire month's supply. I had to go to Walmart and pay cash for bandages, cotton, etc. If you use the chat box to order, the service is better. That's why the 3 stars. They seem to be trying a little harder now. But before, the shipping dept. seemed to be run by meth addicts!

This company does not care about people. My Insurance and my medical group are in network with them and they still denied my son supplies. Shady if you ask me. Everytime I call I get the run around. Shame on you S & G Homecare for denying services to the ones who need it most.

More than helpful as they worked with me, this being the first time I called to replenish my oxygen tanks. She told me they would deliver them same day. Highly recommend SG Homecare.

Update- One day later & I have not received my refilled oxygen tanks, it is now 4;30PM. I sure hope they're running late & deliver soon. Taking 2 stars away from my original 5* rating.

9-18-19. Today I ordered a replacement oxygen tank & was told that I shouldn't be using the tanks except for emergencies (power outages). Needless to say I was not happy with this young man on the phone, I've always had exceptionally great customer service NOT TODAY. Was never told to not use the oxygen tanks daily.

My pulmonologist submitted an URGENT request for oxygen home delivery which my insurance company immediately authorized. Five days later, a rep finally got around to calling to arrange delivery. When I called back, they kept me on hold for over 10 minutes. Nonexistent customer service.

They are the worst at delivering on time. They'll call every month to "confirm" the order and you have to pick up the call every time. Otherwise, the order won't ship even if it's a recurring order that you've been receiving every single month. They called me on a Friday literally two minutes before closing so I didn't get a chance to call back and had to wait until the next regular business hours on Monday. This delayed my order through the weekend. They keep delaying my order every single month. And, the last order that I confirmed, they told me it will be delivered by Friday. It's Monday now. Been 5 days since confirming and I still don't see the package. So I called them again and asked where my order was and they said there's a delay with shipment ONCE AGAIN.

If you could, FIND A DIFFERENT VENDOR!!!!

Unproffesional & Rude. Worst customer service ever. Unhelpful and no empathy. This company shouldn't even be aloud to conduct business in the medical field. They don t. Return calls or follow through. This is medical supplies people. Lives are at stake. They have unrealistic and stupid rules and policies. They ask for a prescription for every single breath you take. Every single filter piece of tubing etc. Plus they expect you to obtain part numbers and have dr prescribe and ask for every specific item by name and part number. Pretty much be prepared to do all the "legwork & research" and go back and forth through insurance and Dr. Never had such dealings with other medical supply providers. All of these comments are for the victorville ca office. They took over lifecare solutions. Which was much much better. I suggest you look for another provider and avoid yourself the hassle and stress

Terrible experience and management. We have all necessary Rxs, but they try to provide the cheapest and non-comfortable medical supplies and equipment. Our family feels disgraceful being recipients of this company. So sad they are only one the medical equipment provider in our insurance company. We will try to find alternative ways to provide the portable battery equipped oxygen concentrator. Shame on them!

The absolute worst customer service ever!! You wait on the phone for hours, receive the wrong product because they will not listen, get cheated because the billing department doesn't know what they are doing, trying to get double paid by charging you the insurance coverage portion of the bill and then when you question anything they get all snippy. If your doctor recommends this place run for your life, it my depend on it. It is hard enough dealing with an illness without having all the unnecessary stress that is cause by this uncaring outfit. One star only because I had to in order to post.

Spent 30 minutes on hold, finally someone helped me and then got disconnected. I called back and spent another 30 minutes on hold. Then being on hold must have run into their lunch hour because all of a sudden the "you have reached us out office hours" message came on. My doctor assured me she sent fax for a medical equipment, but they never received it.

I doubt that these people have corrupted accounting! I got a Bill for $350. I called and they say that my insurance did not cover these charges and I must pay that amount ASAP, that was with 2 separate customer service reps. finally called Cal-optima hoping for a relief and in 30 days Cal-optima sends me a letter stating that they called SGHome and SGHome said they made a mistake billing me. two weeks later I find out that they still have the amount showing unpaid on my patient portal, finally today I received a phone call from a collection agency called Audit Systems wants to collect that amount, otherwise they will ruin my credit...this is &@$^ Ridiculous. DO NOT TELL ME ITS A MISTAKE?????

Horrible place on getting your order to you on time every month and letting you know when your current authorization is about to expire also Customer service is not good I call and the representative ask me if I can hold but doesn't wait for my reply just puts me on hold then she ask last name of patient I told her and she ask again I said that is the last name .... wish I could go back to the company I had before but because we have medical they choose who our medical supplies company...... the last company we delt with was excellent in all of the above

This organization has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Anyone else would be out of business. Forget trying to reach a person or if you have a question. I have tried and tried to reach a person to no avail. Very poor management! The absolute worst I have ever encountered.

Whenever I am expecting my resupply order from SG ...

Whenever I am expecting my resupply order from SG Homecare they never reach out, I always have to call to see what s happening with my delivery. They don t seem to keep an inventory of supplies. I think they place an order for what I need from their supplier just days before I should be receiving it. I will run out of supplies in four days from now and they can t tell me when I can expect my delivery. This model of just-in-time delivery of diabetic supplies is not good for the patient/consumer. It creates an unbelievable amount of unnecessary stress. The one and only reason I do business with SG is because my HMO gives me no other choice. Once I get a choice back, they will never see me again.

I feel sorry for the employees they are nice people but they work for people who should not be allowed in the healthcare business. I can only hope that some smart people come along and can take over and do it right. My sense is SG Homecare is only in it for the billings. They could care less about the patients.

We needed oxygen on a Sunday so that my mom could go home from the hospital. They delivered a portable unit to the hospital and then met us at the home two hours later with an oxygen concentrator an extra portable tanks. Carlos was extremely nice and answered all of our questions completely. Very happy this company was available on a Sunday afternoon. The equipment delivered was good quality, clean and in good working order. I definitely recommend this company.

Compare this company with Apria Health Care they have a long way to improve and a lot to learn from others, each month I have to call in for resupply and each time the operator would ask what kind of supply I am asking for? this time the operator even asked what size and so on. My question was "Don't you have my information or data on your computer screen?" his replied was I just wanted to make sure, make sure?

WIth Apria Health Care once you are set up, you would get an approve letter from our insurance company and they would send your supply every six months, folks we live in 21st century with computers, smartphone and tablets and you are telling me you can not set your system up like the rest?

I am going to give my insurance a call and look for option to go back to Apria. Unless, this company improve their system and customer realtionship

Beg your physician to send your order to another DME company!! Trust me, it will save you a lot of stress and high blood pressure. I'm not even the patient but it's been so difficult to get my husband's supplies on time let alone the entire order. What I really don't understand is how there is a monthly recurring order that is supposed to be delivered the same day every month but never does. Their excuse is that some of the items were on back order, but...... if this is a monthly thing, shouldn't you already have it in stock by the time the next order should be delivered?? I mean you have a whole month to make sure it's in stock?? Another thing I hate about this place is whenever you call them they place you on hold FOREVER!! My heart is literally racing right now just thinking about all the issues I've had with them in the past. It seems like we are working for them for free because we have to take the responsibility of calling them all the time to make sure our delivery is set up and to confirm the day of delivery not twice but 3 times. This place is so exhausting, just save the hassle and find another place. If not, you will experience the worst incompetent, uncaring, unreliable, unorganized company on earth. I can't wait to see this company crash, like I have no evil bone in my body but the things they have put me through and all the arguments I've had with them really gets to me. There are a lot more issues I've had to deal with since we started using them but not enough room in this review box hahaha

FYI Margaret Hadge works for them and she also made a review. LOL

Update 12/10/19: MICHAEL, DEBBIE & RICHARD works there too!! Or they are family/friends of the employees. Come on, stop trying to make the ratings go up. This place is sh!t and deserves no stars!!

I have spoken with 3 different people from this co...

I have spoken with 3 different people from this company and the experience is consistent that they do not seem to care about customer service. Last person I spoke with basically just said that she doesn t know what was happening and was making an assumption as to why there was a delay in the order. Her response when I asked if she could find out more to set a proper expectation, she was very short and hang up.

The Costa Mesa location is very reliable and make sure you have the products you need as quickly as the next day. Great people make a great company! I am glad to have you as my vendor.

BELOW AVERAGE IS STILL TOO GOOD OF A THING TO SAY EVERY MONTHS ORDER OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES IS EITHER SHORT IN QUANTITIES OR JUST MISSING ITEMS BUT YET THE INVOICE SAYS THE ORDER IS COMPLETE AND SHIPPED IN FULL. I DON'T BOTHER CALLING TO SEE WHY BECAUSE IT'S OF NO USE THE NEXT ORDER IS THE SAME PROBLEMS. My order was shipped wrong. I ordered the WISP headgear and cushions. They sent the DREAM WISP. I had to use and even even though it was their error for shipping the wrong system they would not replace with the right one. Said I have to use the wrong one until I am able to order again. Very poor customer service. I will make a complaint to St Jude Heritage. The order was for my wife Ofelia Sweet dob 3/07/1949.

Well I was helped by Cheryl after a couple of miscoded codes given to them from my foot surgeons office and when I finally got around to getting the proper codes I was told on Friday the 28 that I am wrapping my foot with rags and the rags are bloody she assured me that Saturday the supplies would be at my house I questioned her and I said it is Saturday she said it will take care of it I offered an exchange for the wrong stuff to be left outside of my house and as of March the 1st I still have nothing I'm still wrapping my foott in strips of rags you be the judge

The delivery drivers are compassionate and caring. However, the office personnel seem to have been hired based on their lack of compassion, lack of truthfulness, and eagerness to tell any lie to get rid of you. Even the "customer service leads" (supervisors) seem overly eager to spout company doctrine to appease and move on to the next call. Unfortunately, our insurance uses them, so we must. It's all about the money for them. Must have a quota for calls per hour.

What a scam.. Was referred to these guys to fulfill a prescription for a glucose monitor. The retail cost from these clowns was literally 3 times the regular retail price. My co-pay after a 50% coverage from the insurance company was almost double what it should have been. Not the insurance company's fault. These people are ripping people off. Hope you have an alternative.

We will see what happens today. So far they get three stars for fair. They like giving you what they want to give you not what insurance or the doctor order. Slow at phone response. They are polite. And a four to five hour wait for a replacement wheelchair if yours is down but that is standard in the DME industry.

This medical supply company is terrible they have poor customer service or better yet it's safer to say they have NO customer service. When you call them they put you on hold for the longest time and it's the same music the whole time. I order a new strap for my CPAP machine and it didn't come in the manufacturer sealed packaging but in a ziplock bag and was handwritten with a magic marker what it was and they didn't include the two magnetic clips, they told me they don't come with it.I simply called up the manufacturer and I asked him if they came with the magnetic clips and they said yes, plus other stores that sells the same strap comes with those two magnetic clips. I called them right back spoke to a different person and I was told the truth that they do come with it. I would go elsewhere to give another company my business but this is where my insurance uses. I would think for sanitary reasons that the strap of respiratory supplies would come in a sealed packaging from the manufacturer not in a Ziploc bag. An update to this so called medical supply company they are awful to deal with, they are not there to help people. I Just getting off the phone with Ronda she is the most Arrogant person in that company, trying to order supplies when the insurance company told me one thing however she acts like she s God and won t send supplies that my insurance told me I can get. I Do you not know how this company can stay in business with a customer agents as bad as the people they have working there. If you need a medical suppler I would not use SG Homecare.

I wanted to give an update about this company I ve been trying to create an online account with them since this is the only company my insurance uses, well I have not been able to create an account, so one of there employees said they would create the account for me needless to say they did not, so I attempted their online customer service I sent a while with the online Customer Service chatting and they too could not do it. They said they would look further into this issue and get back to me the next day and I said famous last words that the company tells a customer, this person said no I will call you back or someone will. I was right they never returned or Resolved the issue. Furthermore the supplies they send to their customers are Substandard and not ResMed products. Since they are a distributor for ResMed I am again going to contact ResMed and provide them with what SG Homecare claims comes from them.

SG Homecare has been billing us for a wheel chair for almost a year that was never requested and was returned to them after a month. I have sent two written notices to them and called them to inform them that they were billing us for rental of a wheel chair that had been returned to them but there is a new charge every month for $22.18. Incompetence or fraud, I can't tell.

I just received a "hospital bed" for my 90 year old mother and boy did SG Homecare really screw up!! 1st of all the bed arrived defective and "definitely used" with a mattress that must've come from some kind of prison!! Plastic and sponge like that if my mother was to use it, it would definitely aggravate her injury!! The remote cord was severed and useless. I can imagine how this equipment would pass off to the public that rely on this type of equipment!! The delivery guy was nice and accommodating. That's the reason why I gave it one star.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting a
Dynamic individual who was a great example of a professional and accommodating person. Everything from following COVID19 protocol to explaining concerns about my aging parent. Esteban is a great example of someone who should be the face and voice of any company or organization. With this experience, I humbly retract my prior review.
