I recently purchased a used truck from Macke Motor...

I recently purchased a used truck from Macke Motors. My salesman was Dylan. I live in Minnesota and during my inquiries about the truck there was a check engine light on which I inquired about. I was told by Dylan that the truck went thru the shop and it was fixed. The problem was the EVAP VALVE. Upon arrival and purchasing the vehicle I noticed the check engine light was still on. I was assured that it would clear itself as the problem was resolved the day before my arrival. Hence to say the light never cleared itself and stayed on my entire trip back to Minnesota (250+ miles). I notified Dylan the next day about the light and that I was going to stop into my local dealership to have a look as well as fix a couple more problems that were not disclosed during the purchase but become apparent during my trip back to Minnesota.
I was advised by the service tech at my local dealership that the EVAP valve needed to be replaced and that he could tall some tubing was recently patched but that was not done properly nor did it fix the problem. After purchasing a new valve and labor ($200+) the problem is now resolved...upon requesting that Macke Motors reimburse for this agreed upon fix...I have yet to hear back from anyone at Macke Motors. The honest and equitable thing here would be to reimburse me for this expense which was agreed to before my purchase.
