Where to begin....called to confirm pricing on a used SUV and was told vehicle was for sale and it's sale price was correct on their website and they would honor that price. Drive 6 hour roundtrip to be told that online advertised price was only if we financed at the dealer and we were not allowed to pay cash for the vehicle. None of this is stated on their website for their sales price on used cars. Incredibly deceptive. Next they pulled our credit scores and submitted our information to multiple banks without a signed credit application from me or my wife. Lastly the salesman Tony Macke told me I was too f*ING smart for my own good and to leave his dealership. All in all illegal business practices combined with deceptive pricing leads to incredibly horrific experience....STAY AWAY from this dealer.

Worst experience ever!! I found a vehicle on the A...

Worst experience ever!! I found a vehicle on the AutoTrader website, sent an inquiry, someone responded, then didn't call back as promised. When I called back, I talked to Dylan and Marc afterwards, Marc being aware of my details, yet still insisted to run my credit because your dealership works with so many lenders and he has not seen anyone have a problem. Mind you I had an approval from Wells Fargo from another dealership who failed to disclose that the vehicle didn't have warranty being transferred from Canada... yet another fradulent and misused credit check.. causing bad history and reducing by 20 points since.
Marc had at first received a "green light" from one lender with a high interest rate, then a credit union, which in the end didn't approve my pending status, then went back to some other one that the APR wasn't as high as what Dylan mentioned and got a "green light" and said to make travel arrangements, he would mail me the contract in the meantime for review, that he would even pick me up from the airport (I'm on the East Coast and had to fly to Iowa) to deliver the truck. He also said that Dylan would call me to confirm my arrangements. This was on May 7th. I had made my travel arrangements, flight itself was about $500, hotel $100, for May 30th. These costs were still refundable until Friday May 10th, but after calling 20 times each day, leaving messages with front desk, and sending text messages to Dylan's and Marc's cell phone, I have not received any correspondence. I had also submitted contact me inquiries via their website and texting service. I had finally managed to get through to Dylan on May 15th who pretended like he doesn't know anything about the situation and said Marc would call back in one hour. Marc never called, I had called back in a few hours and at that time, Marc had finally said that the deal is cancelled, loan is on hold and/or cancelled, and that he knew this all along through the time that I was trying to get a hold of both of them and left messages with the front desk to call me back to no effect...when I asked who is going to pay for my no longer refundable travel costs, he lied by saying that he never said to book anything. Really? Who in their right mind would spend $600 non-refundable dollars for no reason? On a one-way flight and hotel? He then said that the phones were broken at the dealership. I have texted both of them on their cell phones however, e-mailed Dylan, but it was obviously very difficult to quickly text back deal fell or something along the lines that takes less than half a second. While I was trying to tell this to Marc, he actually put his phone down so that he didn t have to listen to me complain. Once I was done complaining and no one answered except background noise I hung up the phone, and no one ever picked up the phone even at the front desk after that, except one time, when a different lady was there and didn t know my number.. She then switched me to Marc who was very unhappy to hear me at the other end again and acted very unpleasantly.. that's an understatement.
This service and behavior is unacceptable, and I demand a full refund of my non-fulfilled travel costs as they were incurred due to their actions and lack of...

Seen a truck that they had listed on car guru. Message them and they responded. Told Lisa I would like to put money down on it she said they would hold it for me until I could get down there pick it up. I was fine with that. The next morning I wanted to look at the pictures of the truck and seen they had raised the price by over$5000 on me !!!! Called them up right away and talked to Bobby he gave me several lame excuses so I ask to talk to Mark the sale manager. He told me that he was in a rushed in putting the price on it on the internet and just threw a number out there. He was NOT going to honor that price that was on his web site. Then he told me that he had just sold the truck a few minutes earlier. ( right) but is still on the web site 2 days later!!!Then he hung up on me.
I would think after 51 years in business they would do better than that.

***OWNER PLEASE READ MY FULL REVIEW.*** WORST CUST...

***OWNER PLEASE READ MY FULL REVIEW.*** WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I HAVEN T BEEN ABLE TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT BUYING A VEHICLE FROM THEM AND I WANTED BUY IT TODAY BUT NO ONE WANTS AN EASY SALE!! I attempted to contact this dealership multiple times to discuss PURCHASING a vehicle. I have called, emailed, and even texted with no response. So I followed up the next day and called them in the morning. Apparently they don t have a sales department because no one got back to me. I called again an hour later and still no one was able to help. I AM TRYING TO BUY ONE OF YOUR VEHICLES!!!! I decided to respect that they could be busy in a town of 1,400 on a Saturday because so many people are buying a car today, right? I gave the girl my credit info over the phone to try to help speed up the process and show them that I am serious. Guess what?!! STILL NO CALL BACK after 3 more hours. I called back to see where I stand, they had yet to run my credit or look at my inquiry on the vehicle. I told them not to run my credit and I ll seek help somewhere else. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS DEALERSHIP. IF THEY DRAG THEIR FEET THIS BAD TO MAKE A $30,000 SALE, I can only imagine what it would be like if there was a problem. I emailed management at their dealership to hopefully make some changes for their future. Can t stay in business if you don t want to sell vehicles!!!

I really wish I could give them a higher rating, the vehicles on the lot are not organized, just a hassle to look at them. I recently looked at a vehicle, and the front end was damaged. I recommend Motor Inn, or New Way Ford.

Went In looking for a used truck. They had a huge selection to choose from with rock bottom prices compared to the other dealerships. Andy worked with us to find the perfect one. We test drove a few of them and thought we found the one we wanted but Andy told us he had one that he wanted us to look at. Fell in love with it the moment we seen it and even more after the test drive. The whole time we were there they treated us like they wanted our business. No pressure to buy at all. They even sent my wife and I out for lunch on them. We will definitely use them in the future.

We drove up to Macke Motors (67 miles away) to look at a used truck. Took the truck for a test drive and the Check Engine light came on. Had them look at it, and they told us it was a sensor and would be $X to fix. They would have to order the part, or they could take that amount off the price of the truck and we could have our mechanic fix. We chose the latter. We just had our mechanic look at it, and it's not that sensor, but something else entirely. Less than a week of owning this truck, and we've had our truck in the shop trying to figure out what's wrong with it. Also, if you don't use the financing offered by Macke Motors, they increase the advertised price of the vehicle. Overall, very poor service. We feel lied to all so they could sell a vehicle.

I will never go there again. Poor service, rude mechanics. I was told it's all about the profit. While I understand business, one has to always make the customer happy. The first month I got it, the car's brakes went out, the seal on the front window caused a leak and the ceiling material fell down. I was told by a different dealership yesterday, the transmission is going out, so I called Mackes and was told nothing they can do about it. Once again he told me it's all about the profit. He didn't care customers were happy, and could only afford certain prices on vehicles. He claimed to be a Christian, well, being one myself, I know that profit at the expense of one's soul is not worth it.

Best people I've bought a car from hands-down! As a woman shopping alone they didn't try to haggle me into buying a more expensive car or lemon unlike every other dealer. They were friendly, agreeable, and didn't give me the feeling that I was getting screwed. I bought my car (an '09 that had originally been purchased at Macke's by the previous owner) used and as is (after their technicians checked it out). It's been the most reliable, used car I've ever owned (knock on wood). Not one issue over this past year! Not to mention the buying process was quick and easy.
