Had my colonoscopy done at Dr Ferdows clinic today ,01/17/2020. Checked in at 6:45am , Procedure started at 7:15am , woke up at 7:45am , got home and grab a bite to eat at 8:am. The whole thing took only 1 hour and 15mins Everything went so smooth, What else can you ask for ?
I had both an endoscopy and a colonoscopy done, the process was very fast, professional and very good! I have had both done before about 10 years ago and the process was fine but I don't wake up from anesthesia well. But Friday I came right out of it and everything was great! The nurses and staff were great! Thank you!
I fiiled out the evaluation questions and they were all fives.
I feel the need to go beyond that...
I was treated with total respect the whole way through. I was double checked when my heart arythmia showed up in the preliminary exam.
I guess the best thing I can say about the whole experience is "I didn't feel a thing"
And was taken care of by angels.
This was my first time to see Dr Ferdows at Gastro Health and I came away with a totally positive experience.
He showed great professional competence, easy to talk to, friendly, courtes, great listener, and very attentive.
His staffs were very friendly, helpful, competent, and had great attitudes.
Went to Pacific Gastro yesterday for my second colonoscopy ever. Last one was 10 years ago. I have to say, after reading some of these negative reviews, that my entire experience with the staff and facility has been positive. I can't speak to billing or insurance issues since that part hasn't yet come up. In both the initial consult and the actual procedure, I found the staff to be very helpful, friendly, and competent. The nurses who assisted me were great, the anesthesiologist was personable and explained things very well, and overall everyone was comforting. I did find Dr. Ferdows to be rather quiet and not particularly interactive, but I had no questions and I only saw him for a moment before I actually went under the anesthesia. I got the feeling that if I had any questions he would gladly have answered them. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I generally don't give out 5-star reviews unless whatever I'm reviewing is over-the-top excellent. In the case of a colonoscopy, that doesn't seem to fit...

This place is the best. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and made me feel at home. The doctor was so sweet and asked me if I had any questions. On the phone appointment he was so nice and informative. I would give a million stars. I would recommend this place!

I noticed some negative reviews that are quite different from the positive experience I had here. So, just to be clear, this review is for Pacific Gastroenterology at 8506 E Mill Plain Blvd, Ste B with Dr. Mehdi Ferdows.
My first visit to this clinic was in 2018 for a routine colonoscopy along with an endoscopy for acid reflux issues. Everything went well and my issues with swallowing were resolved for over 2 years. Earlier this month, I called the office to schedule a review with Dr Ferdows because of some recent difficulties with swallowing.
The office scheduled a conference call with Dr Ferdows for the next day. Dr Ferdows suggested a couple of options and provided the pros and cons for each option. I decided to proceed with an esophageal dilation procedure which was scheduled for the following week. Everything went well and I experienced no symptoms after this procedure and just took it easy for the rest of day.
Everyone at the clinic did an excellent job explaining how to prepare for the procedure, what to expect, and answering all my questions. The entire staff (office team, nurses, anesthesiologist, Dr Ferdows) provided a warm, friendly, and relaxing environment.
If you are looking for a clinic with friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable health care professionals, I highly recommend Pacific Gastroenterology.
