Wide open spaces under the sun, under the tents and under the umbrellas. I had an Italian sausage sandwich. My friends had grilled salmon. They make their own hard cider. Nice friendly outing to the farm.

This was REALLY the WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had. EXTREMELY TERRIBLE customer service! The fruits are small and expensive. Do not bring your family there because you will find that you just waste your time.

The children's playground is small and very boring. The playground is not as interesting as the one you see from their website. I am surprise the farm still exist and I will never go back again.

FALSE ADVERTISING AND CRANKY STAFF - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. There's no mention of the $18 entrance fee to pick fruit until you arrive. I've never seen such a fee at other pick-your-own farms.

The real cherry on top of this experience, however, was during the train ride to the orchard. For safety reasons, they request you keep your hand inside the vehicle. That seems reasonable. However, when some kids, as kids do, put out their hands to touch some leaves on passing-by trees, the "conductor" slammed on the breaks throw said kids off their seats. He then turns around and shouts straining to be heard over the wails of multiple children who are now crying, "I said keep your f**king hands inside the train!"

Unbelievable. He slammed on the breaks so hard he put the kids in more danger than they were in trying to touch the trees and using adult language in front of kids is completely inappropriate.

The "lookout" part of the name should clue us in to NOT GO TO BELKIN FAMILY FARM.

This is the most over priced apple picking farm I had ever visited in Massachusetts; but that is not what makes it the worst experience when you visit them. They will treat you as if you will steal their apples, down to almost a body search. I am surprised that they have not been reported to the Consumer's Protection Agency. They do not advertise their prices or policies clearly. I am definitely looking into this because if they are serving the public they should know how treat the public. This should be a family friendly environment, I witnessed the most humiliating search on a lady while her children were present. Please help me report this behavior so people do not have to experience or witness it ever again.

Very over-priced. The strawberries were pretty much wiped out less than halfway into the weekend; they should have shut that part down. We were barely able to pick a 1/2 quart of tiny, sad looking berries. The kids play area was just an average playground. The live music was just a guy playing a 4 song set on a guitar. I flushed $50 away, don't do the same. Much better options in the area.

Really fun place with a lot of fall activities. My children enjoy the kids area and really liked the storyeller. Biggest negative is the price. We've been to other farms that offer a comparable experience at a much more affordable price. I also didn't enjoy staff telling us the only way to move from one part of the orchard to another was by waiting for a very crowded trolley. It was a beautiful day and we were all looking forward to a nice walk.

Came here for the first time in January for a cider tour. The taproom is a nice area serving 5 varieties of cider, including a hot hard cider which was interesting. I wasn't a fan of most of the cider itself, but I appreciated the unique More

Went strawberry picking in mid-June. $8 admission per person + $6 per carton for PYO, but worth it. Berries are okay quality, but the entire experience was very enjoyable for the family. Plan to spend at least a bit of time in admission line and waiting for the train. We spent 2 hours in total

Chaos. $15 per person just to get to the apples. Then a premium price on top of that for the apples. The tap room is a disorganized mess. After waiting in a line for 15 minutes we are told that everyone should just crowd the already full bar for service. Left without buying anything. Won't be back.

Came here for Father's Day in hopes of a great time with the kids, sadly disappointed. So don't come here in the summer, once we arrived we learned that the only animals to see are sheep and goat. No chance of petting them either. No hayrides. Childrens play area has two cool items but they'll need assistance to use them. However Magic show was cute and the place is Beautiful to see and pick strawberries.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Lookout Farm has implemented a smooth, efficient, and safe serving system in its dining areas. The food was wonderful and was served with lightning speed. The online ordering process was quick and intuitive, and the general ambiance was quite nice. The Farm also features a socially-distant walking path through the orchards and under a covered awning. Overall, a very enjoyable visit!

Terrible experience! way too expensive...fruits are not good...the lanes that were open for certain type of fruit to pick were almost all bare. Good fruit, if any was on the ground. Some variety of apple was pre-picked and had to be collected from a bin!

I had memories of having a good time few years ago, so was really happy that I was able to go this year. I really repented my decision. Not going there again.

Such a fabulous place to visit, I saw it originally on Tik Tok and it lived up to the short video. Great food, impregnable service they literally brought our food out moments later. They were extremely covid friendly with masks, sanitizer and disposable food containers. They run a tight ship here. I can t wait to go back again before it closes for the season!

Nice looking farm but just way too expensive, and for no good reason. The high costs totally takes the family fun out of apple picking.

We bought a 1/2 gallon of regular apple cider from its store. Delicious, but came home to realize it wasn t even made at the Lookout Farm. Seriously? Now that s lame! Don t want to come here again.

When We arrived to the farm starting with the staff in the admission.that lady was not friendly at all. after we finish paying for admission and bags. It turned to be worse.the time is late and we have to wait more than 30 minutes to be allowed to get to the farm. It was not like that in the past.you could enter after you pay. You have the right to choose to walk or take a train .now you should to wait under the sun in a very long line of people. They are just making it complicated.the funny part is, every single worker was not friendly. When we visited first section they told,it is not ready for picking. we moved to the next section, they told it is not for picking. If that is the case, where could we fill our bags, we already paid for, should we go to their neighbor to fill it. Last stop people coming to take a picture for memory, they kicked them out, Because it is 5:00 PM.
We will never visit this farm again or recommend it to anyone.

It was fun. The train is cool, and they have lots of different fruits. The stuff for kids to do is really neat. It was quite pricey, and the store staff isn t very nice. The tap room was also fun and very cute. The parking is free.

Honestly not worth the money, not only do you pay for the bags to pick, but you need to pay an admission to get in. They falsely advertise to get you in, they told us all apples were ready to pick as well as peaches and strawberries, we get into the orchard and there are no strawberries, and only yellow apples to pick. When you leave you go through a little store, everything in the store says look out farm on it, nothing is actually made at the farm it's all made elsewhere and they just place their name on it, and dont bring a diaper bag or a backpack because you will get searched on the way out!, dont waste your time...honey pot farms is far cheaper and a far better experience...

I rate this place one star because of the rip off prices. You come for apples and you leave with out any apples. The employees are rude and all the apples are on the floor and rotten the only good thing about this place they call a apple picking farm is the grapes. This place sucks .

The newly opened outdoor dining area is lovely. Lots of tables under a big open tent and the rest with umbrellas. Tons of space between tables. Great COVID policies: online ordering from the table, clearly marked traffic flow, lots of hand sanitizing stations, frequent table cleaning.

The most expensive apples I have ever purchased.

I have never seen any of the local farms charge for admission. We were totally caught off guard by the $18 dollar admission fee, per person!!!

Operated like an army camp- employees yelled at us to "LINE UP AGAINST THE FENCE!!" when getting off at our first stop. They also would not allow anyone to walk around, only access to the apples was via the tram.

Worst apple picking experience. Save your money, drive a little farther for a cheaper, better, and friendlier experience

Beware!!! The prices are posted for price per bushel (a very agreeable $1/lb for a half bushel), then SURPRISE! It's also $18 per person to access the picking fields. When asked why, they said "to cover the train that takes you there," so we asked, "can we walk there," and they said...no. We wanted to have a fun picking day with three adults, but in total that would have cost $90. For 30 lbs of peaches. Totally absurd, totally misleading marketing .

We went there around a month ago, Belkin Farm just reopened for the public after the pandemic. The farm is very beautiful and we really enjoyed it. The staff was very organized and very helful. The food and the beer that they make there was very good.

Significant others BEWARE! Again, fall has arrived thus significant others are being dragged to pick apples with one thing in mind, instagram posts. Today I was brought to Look Out farm, and it is telling...look out. The fall foliage was bright, the apples were crisp, and the taproom was fresh, but the instagram photos were treacherous. My wallet is like the cider glass, empty. Family friendly yes, affordable not quite. But can you really put a price on an instagram post?

Great space, seemingly hard working staff and decent food. I was not impressed with the flatbreads, but some of the other items are tasty for sure. I have been twice recently since they opened the outdoor seating but the second visit last night, Tuesday 8/11, we ended up waiting 40+ mins for drinks. These are not cocktails, you pull the tap and the beer comes out. 40 + minutes is outrageous especially when you are encouraging folks to stick to a 90 min seating. We missed our chance to walk in the field at sunset because we were stuck waiting for drinks we already paid for. Better execution needed.

11/4/2017 - We try to confirm before getting in if they have any animals, the lady who sold the tickets told other than pony ride they have rest of the animals. We don't see any of them - all the animals are gone. They charge $16 per adult just to go walk inside their fields. If you are family with kids who are interested in seeing animals Mid October is the deadline.
On other note - they waste lots of apples just like that. They should have some sort of cleaning up the dropped apples.

Amazing food and drink at the taproom, really friendly staff! Trivia night is always awesome, and the rest of the farm has a ton to offer. I've been coming here for 18 years and have never once been disappointed. Even Belichick likes to hang here!

This is a SCAM FARM! On the website it says up to 6 people per reservation. I went with two other adults and a 3yr old and 5 yr old. I paid $29 for a full peck of apples. When we got there they said we had to pay for EACH person even the kids. Which meant I would be paying $20 for a 3 yr old kid who wouldn t even be able to hold the bag! It would have been over $100 for 3 adults and 2 kids. The website is misleading. My kids were disappointed. When I asked to speak to the manager she was rude. DO NOT recommend going to this greedy Orchard. Plenty other orchards nearby for less than half the price and even more entertainment.

We recently had our daughter's third birthday at the Farm and had a wonderful time. The children's area is a great place for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves on a number of activities (farm animals, lego fun, bouncy house, playground, caterpillar ride, etc). The magician was great: he literally pulled a real rabbit out of his hat. The staff was great as well, very helpful and fun. Colleen did a great job rescheduling our party on two days' notice when unexpected events came up. The price was very reasonable compared to other places in the area.

Good amount of outside social distancing. Good food, always great ciders. Prompt service. Phone order app is a tad confusing and unless you are under a tent the table umbrellas don't give much reprieve from the hot sun. All in all a welcome alternative to indoor dining. Would definitely go back.

This place is really great. We went on the week and our 2 year old had an absolute blast. She picked apples and even a couple grapes from the beautiful terrace tunnels. There is a really nice playground with a haystack to climb on and a variety of equipment to play on as well as some bouncy houses and a little tractor train thing. A short tree maze is good for slightly older kids and some animals to look at. I only give it 4 stars because it's expensive. 2 adults and we didn't have to pay for our daughter but we got a medium bag for apples and two small pumpkins and it all cost us $50. It was a really good day but it's unfortunate it's so expensive or we may have come back a couple times.

This was the WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had. HORRIBLE customer service! Do not take your family here! We spent a small fortune($150+) for 2 adults and 1 child and on the way out we were yelled out since unbeknownst to us our 2 year old (who we paid a $13 entry fee for even though a woman named Kristen let 5 other 2 year olds go in for free) put a few apples in the bottom of her stroller. This person named Kristen and another one named Lori were particularly rude. I'm very disappointed as we have been coming for a long time!

10/2015
Our family couldn't wait to get here, as the reviews sounded great!
We arrived at 12:00 the parking was pretty easy, as they had personnel directing cars onto grassy areas.
Upon entering, there was a young girl at the entrance, determined that we check -in at the window and pay
immediately and get hand stamp....(really rude).
The place was packed......We headed over to the line for the train, which takes you around the orchards, where you can get off and on at different locations...They don't tell you where they stop, so we ended up walking back to the entrance area...(line for train 20/25 minutes).
We went into the store/barn area, to purchase some cider doughnuts, candy, etc....It was so crowded in there you couldn't move...We put doughnuts in bag, went to pay, and the line was at least 40 deep.
However, there was another register on the other side of room..We asked an employee if they would open that one as well....Their response: Not today..WHAT? One register and we could hear people saying the same thing, as they put purchases down and walked out...As we did.
Absolutely ludicrous..Employees not nice.
We decided to go down the road to their tavern, try their apple cider..We needed it! It was a very hot day, and we walked all around the orchards, fought the crowds in store...We were ready!
The cider was very good..However the food is a TOTAL ripoff...No doubt...We ordered the pizza. it was a flat THIN pizza that was NO bigger than a slice...$10.00.....Ludicrous...Chicken tenders-looked and tasted like Perdue frozen..OMG horrible...(about 3) 10.00......Don't order food.
As we were leaving about 2:00, cars were still lined up to get in!
What a ripoff...Don't waste your time...
Ovwerpriced....rude employees...no service....terrible food....Actually have to wait in another line to pay for the apples that you picked..
Couldn't wait to get outta there! Wish i had stocks in this place....-( Ripoff

Both last year and this year my family's trip to The Lookout Farm have been one of the best days all year. I actually think based on the experience and getting a gigantic bag of apples it is 100% worth every penny. This year was the best. I visited with my husband, our 19-month-old daughter, and my mother who is in her late 60s. The train was great so that my daughter and mother did have to do too much walking. To my surprise there was an incredible children's play area this year. Petting zoo (sheeps, goats, alpaca, ostrich, pigs), pony & camel rides, a great playground, face painting, a moon bounce, and a children's entertainer. For $12 per adult plus a bag of your own picked apples (that would cost $30 at whole foods) is was so worth the money for a gorgeous, New England fall family day.

Nice farm, there are bouncy houses and a playground, the kids like the train ride
The place is crowded, tons of people, very long lines
The prices are very high, around $100 per family (admission plus apple picking)
They don't provide bracelets, just stamp your hand, which hassles everyone to come to the window. And they don't give receipts...

It's a fun place and a nice experience, but way too expensive.

Expensive and terrible customer service. The person on the train was screaming at kids to sit down and the speakers were so loud my kid was covering his ears. The kids area is great but honestly, I would just go there for that and not to pick apples. Getting the apples you want is like a guessing game because if you get to the end of the line and you haven't filled your bag, you have to get back on the train again for the full trip. I'd like to be able to walk around when picking apples. It felt like a Disney world ride with rude vendors.

Its really great place to visit on a weekend . If you have kids you can plan to spend at least half of your day here. Play area that includes bounce house, face paint and animal farms are all included in your ticket. There are ALOT of Apples, Peaches and Pears to take home. There were a lot of pumpkins too And there will be more coming in the next week. Also the Apple cider donuts are delicious and fresh! Literally Right out of the fryer !!!! The train that is included in your ticket comes around every few minutes! Military discounts available.

I was a little concerned with all the bad reviews but this was my first time coming here and I had a great time! A little late in the season so I had to look a bit harder for the apples but found plenty to fill a big bag! I will definitely be coming back again next season!

Beautiful farm for picking delicious fruit and having a great meal with the family! Lookout farm is setup perfectly. Tables are spaced a part and everything is outdoors! Great meal and fun for the kids!

This place looks great, but the prices are insane. For three friends to pick 1 bag of apples, they wanted $82. It s $20 per admission plus the bag of apples. No thanks. We left to find somewhere else.

I went to Belkin Lookout Farm for the first time yesterday with some friends and their four year old daughter. We settled on this particular orchard because it was literally the only You-pick orchard that was open on a Monday. They had a nice video on their website which made it look beautiful and family friendly, and I had not read any of the other reviews prior to going.

It was pretty quiet there being a weekday. We paid reduced rates of $8 admission per person, but I was pretty shocked to see the rates were even higher on other days. The man at the ticket window didn't really speak, just took our money and asked if we were planning on picking fruit. Do people come here to not pick fruit? There was three bag sizes you could pay for, I did medium for an addition $16 dollars. We all got a "stamp" that was a big black blob on our hands and walked over to a train.

The train ride felt kind of like being in a disney theme park, but where the staff don't really talk. I would have preferred to walk, but I think they require to you take the train in so we did.

The orchard itself is beautiful!! The train drives under a canopy made from bunches of hanging grapes, through the rows of orchard trees. We tried a few grapes and they are very sweet and provide beauitful shade and atmosphere. The first stop the train leaves you off of had Asian pears and very large Golden Delicious apples. It had just rained that morning so all the fruit was a bit wet, and tasted like delicious pre-washed fruit right from the tree. We kept walking because the train wasn't around to the next train stop for more fruit variety. This just had mostly rotten Cortlands. This is not the farms fault, because certain fruit grows at certain times and these were just a bit past their prime. We headed down to the third stop, which had just more of the same pears and Cortlands, but also had the children's play area.

The four year old with us wasn't really into the apples, but had a lot of fun at the play area. They had some really awesome goats, and a small "petting" zoo which you couldn't pet anything and their was no pellets to feed them. But you could look, and they had sheep, pigs, ducks, alpacas, goats, and donkeys. They had a bouncy castle, some jungle-gym type stuff to climb on, a burlap maze, a small Caterpillar themed train for kids to ride around on, a tree house with a slide, and some picnic tables. The day was beautiful so we sat down to relax as the little one played. It was very empty, maybe one other family there for just a few minutes. I believe on the weekends they do magic shows and have food their, and face painting, but none of this was going on when we were there.

After that we realized the only stop we found fruit that looked great was the first so we just walked back through the orchard to the beginning because again we didn't know where the train was, and it was just too nice of a walk to ruin waiting for a train. We filled our bags then headed to the big barn giftshop/check out place. I was hoping for more fresh farm produce here, but it was more like a market with non Lookout Farm related stuff. We bought some Cider donuts that were half off (probably because they were made over the weekend) but they still tasted good to me.

All in all, it was a good time. It was about 50 bucks for 2 adults to pick medium bag of apples/pears. The experience was still nice for me, but yes this does feel really expensive. I hear other places do not charge as much. You are really paying for them to keep up with a very large farm, and a train, and a children's play place. It was not a bad experience but I'm sure other farms could provide you with a less expensive option as well. Also the staff there seemed pretty miserable. You work at a beautiful orchard, cheer up!

This place is very overpriced for what you are getting. This is not a certified organic farm and I don't understand why their food has such a markup.,It is alot cheaper to save your money and shop at some of the local farmers markets in the Boston area .No bargains here at all,Just a ripoff

$33 per person or $24 the only two options available for U-Pick. Ended up costing $100 for 3 people... This is outrageous and one of the most expensive apple picking experiences in my lifetime. Last year I paid $20 for a larger size bag and my wife and I entered together. Ironically that bag was bigger than the $33 bag for this place. Furthermore we had to walk over a mile just to get to the trees with apples/pears on them. Oh and the restaurant portion is way over priced! $17 for a hamburger and it doesn't even come with "fries" that will cost you another $6. Also the apple donuts ran out and the employee wasn't accommodating at all. Waited 20 minutes in the line and then were told come back in 15 minutes and wait in line all over... Save your time, Save your money and go else where you won't regret it.

$198 for six adults and a baby.
$15 pp before we purchased the bags for apples.
All I can say is RIDICULOUS!!
But good for them. This a GOLD MINE...
Thousands of people probably come from the city for a day trip.

I will go to Tangerini's, in Millis next year.
$30 for a large bag for apples and $3 for a hay ride.
