Both last year and this year my family's trip to The Lookout Farm have been one of the best days all year. I actually think based on the experience and getting a gigantic bag of apples it is 100% worth every penny. This year was the best. I visited with my husband, our 19-month-old daughter, and my mother who is in her late 60s. The train was great so that my daughter and mother did have to do too much walking. To my surprise there was an incredible children's play area this year. Petting zoo (sheeps, goats, alpaca, ostrich, pigs), pony & camel rides, a great playground, face painting, a moon bounce, and a children's entertainer. For $12 per adult plus a bag of your own picked apples (that would cost $30 at whole foods) is was so worth the money for a gorgeous, New England fall family day.
