I was so disappointed. Booked a room as a surprise trip for my husband. I paid $198 for 1night. This hotel IS NOT AT ALL how it looks like in the website pictures. Everywhere you go is dirty. I had to request to move to another room because the toilet was all stained, so disgusting, and We traveled with my baby, they new since I requested a crib, they gave us a room at the lowest level of a separate building where to get there you have to go down the hill 4 floors and then up the hill 4 floor to go to the main building pushing the stroller because they DONT have an ELEVATOR!!! the pictures are from the "clean" room we got after we complained. The guy at front desk wasn't nice after we requested a clean room and a more accessible floor. He didn't even apologized. The water in the pools look so dirty. We tried to go swim with our little baby Sunday morning since Saturday evening was very crowded, ohh surprise, the pool had all kind of different liquids floating on the top of the water in addition to the dirt all around. The floor of the pool in the separate building was so rough that hurt my feet. The food wasn't good at all. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. My husband had the most terrible birthday ever.

Day 1: TV unavailable. It was raining when we arrived and had been driving all day so we were ready to relax and wind down but had to do so w/o a television. Called to inform the front desk who shared that a storm had knocked out the service. View was amazing from our balcony. Room has a lot of humidity. Toilet doesnt flush. Hair in the refrigerator in our room.
Day 2: TV unavailable again AND our hot water wasn't working. On top of the fact that the water pressure was terrible. Called the front desk to infom them about their TV issue and hot water in which they did send a repairman right away. He turned on the water to let it run (i had already been in the shower with water running, freezing, for at least 5 minutes and had to get out and dressed for someone to come up to the room, yay) he explained that lightning had struck something which messed tv system up, whatever. After letting water run for 5 more minutes, it got hot. So, make sure you let water run for like 10 min before you get undressed and get in!
Day 3: Still minimal water pressure. TV still unavailable going in and out of service. Housekeeping leaves us a note, YOUR WATER WILL BE SHUT OFF FOR 30 MINUTES, SORRY FOR INCONVIENIENCE! Are you kidding?! Oh no worries lodge of four seasons! Ive been inconvienienced since ive gotten here...im used to it! Had a nice fishing area with a dock that you can fish off of, but when i came back up to my room, I COULDN'T WASH MY HANDS!! On the flip side, I did go swimming a few hours later which was very relaxing. Laying in bed tonight, TV still going in and out of service. Ill let you all know how day 4 goes. So far, im giving a 2 because of the view from our room. Im not one to even do reviews but its frustrating to spend so much time searching for a place to get here and it not be worth all the money you spent. Im disappointed.

Check in was horrible. They gave me a key to someone else s room. Didn t want to help me get to right room. Found an empty room for me finally. Room was nasty. Toilet kept running, no hot water, few ratty towels, shower leaked on floor, dead bug on floor, etc
Got into room around 10:30 pm. At 8 am housekeeping was knocking on door and wanted me out of room. Asked front desk to check out at noon. They said no way. I had to leave before 11am. Don t stay here ever. Room rate was $200.

Great guest service! Everyone is helpful and ready to answer any questions you might have. Will even point you in the direction of events happening around town! Breakfast, lunch and dinner served in high quality restaurants and everything you could possibly need can be found on premises. 4 pools open during the summer and a heated indoor/outdoor pool open year round. Companies are welcome to enjoy a wide array of meeting rooms for banquets or conventions year round! Attached is a picture taken from the walking path around the resort with lake views throughout the hotel!

Stayed two nights for a convention. Staying in the Avile building which is a bit of a walk to the main building and in the elements. Luckily the weather was great. The main facility is very nice, lots of levels which break up the building with waterfalls and fireplaces. The food has been okay to poor. Breakfast was okay, evening reception food was poor, dinner was french onion soup which was okay.

So we get to the hotel and was never warned that room service was closing early. So sorry. I get that it was Thanksgiving but warn people. I would have gotten back out but not once we had gotten settled in to the room. The guy on the phone barely cared. I certainly don't care about the Lodge any more than the room service guy. After hours Security gets you a sandwich. what!!!

We had our wedding August 8 2020 in the beautiful Marbella Ballroom. The presidential Suite was so huge and the balcony was awesome. The bed was extra soft. Most of all Mrs Kim Hilker was the Best Wedding Cordinator a bride can ask for. Kim did an amazing job and treated all my out of state guest with warmth and compassion. Thanks Lodge of Four Season for hosting the best wedding in #2020 thank you Kim Hilker

My experience here was amazing the hotel and the surrounding area are breath taking and have lots of activities for everyone, but the cherry on top of the whole experience was the staff. Everyone was so kind and went out of their way to make you feel at home. Omar in particular has put a smile on MY girlfriend's s and
I's faces with his great work ethic and since of humor. The security here are also awesome...my girlfriend droped an airpod off our balcony late at night so we told the front desk and they sent a security guard out to help find it on the roof and he did. This place is awesome and by far the best hotel experience I have ever had I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

If I could give it a 0 I would! Can t rate the room or facility since we were unable to get a room even though the first night was paid for in advance with reservation booking. At the 4 pm check in, we were told rooms weren t ready due to COVID precautions. We asked when we could expect our room to be ready and the response was as I tell everyone, I am the front desk not housekeeping . . We left our phone number and was told they would call when room was ready. After waiting the first hour, we stood in line again (with others waiting on their rooms) asked another employee and still no room. We had a chance to walk around the facility and found the only indoor eatery/bar was the higher end steak house. Everything else was closed indoors. Outdoor bar was open near pool. We decided to leave the facility for dinner and by 7 still did not receive a call. When we called and asked, room was still not ready!! Ultimately we asked for a full refund and found another hotel to stay for the 2 nights. The manager did honor the request of a refund, but the service was severely lacking. Highly recommend looking elsewhere for accommodations. We stayed at Margarittaville Resort at the beginning of our vacation and we loved it there. Sorry Four Seasons, but there is no comparison in customer service.

We got our room after the promised check in time. Ours was a half hour late while one in our party got their room nearly 4 hours late.
Our room thermostat is controlled by the room next to us.
The spa had no openings yet looked like there was nobody in the spa.
The pool was dirty and not cleaned
Shortage of linens.

We had a horrible experience at another Lodge near by and came here as a second choice. Just talking to the Front Manager was already making my day so much better. Little Debbie the front Manager (she told me to describe her as old) was kind and understanding and allowed us to make a reservation last minute. She told us the history of the lodge and told us all about what to do around the lodge. Our room was clean (unlike the other place!) It smelled amazing and clean! We've only been here for 1 hour and I'm already extremely pleased. If you are looking to be treated as a human being then this lodge is for you! I will come back!

Beautiful resort. The room was comfortable and was excellent meeting place for a convention. However, they are not as handicap accessible as they should be. A lot of hills and stairways to navigate, also an odd layout. Still a beautiful place with very friendly and helpful staff.

I don't usually write reviews but thought this recent visit deserved one, we just got back from a weekend golf trip and had a fantastic time. The golf courses were in great shape, not to mention the pace of play was outstanding. The rooms were nice and clean and the AC units worked great, especially with the heat advisory that was in place over the weekend. Our room also had a beautiful view of the lake and was a short distance away from the dock, pools, etc. The pool was outstanding as well, provided plenty of room to relax and enjoy the delicious pina coladas from the bar to accompany the great food from the restaurant.

During the second week of July this year, I travel...

During the second week of July this year, I traveled to MO to spend a weekend with my son and my daughter in law. When we arrived at the lodge, we discovered that our room was not as nice as the pictures showed in the website and that we were not in the main building as we assumed (we didn't know there were multiple facilities). The building that housed our room was like a Motel 8 hotel; old and dated and it seemed not too clean. The pool was crowded with some special corporate group that was staying that weekend. Guests seem friendly but the staff at the pool bar not so much!. The pool water was also very cloudy and not once I saw anyone monitoring the chlorine in the water. Being that there were so many people in the water they should have had someone doing this. Needless to say I didn't enter the pool. When I came back home and check my receipts I noticed two receipts that had $16 and $51 tip; the other had $16 and $33 tip. I screamed to my husband this is wrong! Sure enough I called the accounting manager and she reversed the tip charges that were being posted to my credit card. Also there $67 receipt didn't have a signature so I disputed this one via my credit card. When you go on vacation and you pay this much money you really should come back feeling like it was a lot of fun. In this case we were feeling like we were victims of fraud. Fraud committed by the employees and Fraud committed by the reservation department. The rooms in the motel building should be rate and priced lowel that the ones in the main building. Don't get rob!

The rooms felt a little outdated, but the overall experience was enjoyable. The TV was very nice in the room. The staff was exceptional. My one complaint would be that several items needed to be repaired. The awning leading to one of their halls had a large hole in it along with several tears and other holes.

In short, our stay at the Lodge of the Four Season...

In short, our stay at the Lodge of the Four Seasons was a nightmare and we will never stay there again! We were never told that almost NOTHING would be open at the Lodge because it was "off season" (including the Marina where we had planned to rent a boat and take a dinner cruise). So, between that and the fact that Mother Nature had decided to send storms and tornadoes this past week (which meant we couldn't even walk the trails along the lake or go hoking), we ended up staying only one full day.

The real nightmare (besides the fact that my supposedly "hypo-allergenic room, which I had requested a whole month before was NOT completely hypo-allergic and caused me some breathing problems) was when tornado warnings landed us in a storm shelter on the first floor of the hotel that night at around 10 pm.

While it was commendable that the hotel staff personally went around to escort the guests to the a safe place , we were escorted to a dusty, musty, old unused conference room and former bar that clearly hadn t been cleaned in YEARS!

Immediately that nasty and excruciatingly disgusting place, which was nearest to our room, impacted my allergies and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) problem. I managed to stand in that hell hole for no more than one minute before my eyes became gritty and my sinuses swelled up, my throat became sore, and my asthma kicked in to the point where my husband became concerned that we would have to call an ambulance in the middle of the raging storm
.
It was at that point we decided to leave the following morning to put an end this horrific nightmare. The bottom line is that we would have had a ruined vacation, even if the weather had been sunny and warm in Osage Beach, because the emails we received, all contained upbeat messages such as this that suggested EVERYTHING was open and ready to go:

From the moment of arrival, choose to unwind and do as little as you like, or mix it up with an array of world-class resort activities steps away from the comfort of your guest room.

Riiight. They fail to mention this only works DURING the season! Off-season, you are hosed! Unfortunately, no one warns you about that.
Never again will we stay at the Lodge of the Four Seasons!

Great view, very clean hotel. Pools had lots of chlorine, also a bit of debris. Shower fixtures very old. Most of the hotel windows dirty, which really subtracted from the experience. Manager should address these issues. Front desk and valets very polite. Some HK staff late on Friday night a bit off-putting. At 10:20 they didn't want to seat us outside the bar area because they were about to vacuum. Really? Didn't know the convenience of the staff vacuuming superseded serving a guest and his family.

Overall, visit was very disappointing. Staff was very friendly, however the parking/dock slip/and loading dock was horrible and was not near the hotel. The road to the loading dock is very narrow-curvy-dangerous-only one vehicle can travel at a time! The loading dock is also a horrible experience, thank goodness from a helpful individual. The loading dock and boat slip are in two different locations and is not very easy to maneuvering a truck/and boat. Never will stay here again!

AWFUL! The room was sorta nice but none of the outlets worked, the phones didnt work, there was nothing in the kitchen to cook with so we had to go buy all the things we needed, the people are rude, cleaning services did a horrible job, beds were not comfy whats-so-ever (sleeping on the floor would have been better), 2 of the 3 pools were locked up so we couldnt use them, dirty place(looks like it hadnt been cleaned in a while, and our door to our room wouldnt shut... look somewhere else. Dont stay here.

Attended a gunshow. A tornado warning occurred and they made everyone go to the theater (their storm shelter). The theater seats were horribly worn, no padding left. Fabric covered springs are not comfortable. The show was normal otherwise.

Horrible service. I would never suggest staying at this hotel. Room was $160 for something way worse than a motel 6. We get to our room and set our bags down and some lady busts right through the door without knocking or anything. She looks all confused and acts like she's high and tells me she is room service. Asks if we are staying in the room throughout the night. Then asks "all night?" Then she leaves. My girlfriend wasn't comfortable staying in the room so we go and get a refund 20 mins after checking in. 4 days later our account is charged $160 from the Lodge of Four Seasons. I call to talk to a manager and get it taken care of and can't get any help. HORRIBLE HOTEL AND SERVICE. Stay anywhere but here.

Its an aging hotel. They are renovating. I loved it. It has character! When I checked in the front desk young man was professional and friendly. The lobby was beautiful and inviting. My room was really very nice I loved the colors and ammenities. It did take a little while for the water to get hot in the shower but once it did I had a long hot shower. I had a spectacular view of the lake from my balcony and still felt I had my privacy. I plan on many more stays here and look forward to making this hotel my get away for relaxation.

The first floor rooms in the atrium wing has flimsy press button locks leading out to the parking lot. I was too nervous about a break in, it wouldn't take much, that I didn't really get sleep. the room itself was amazing, so comfortable, plenty of pillows, a tub with reclining back, spotless, even under the TV where many other lodging overlooks. The atrium looks out to the marina. there's plenty of activities to do, restaurants, etc.

This has been a great meeting place. The conference rooms and amenities are superior. I was really impressed by the welcoming, friendly staff each day of my stay. My favorite part about this location would have to be the stunning views of the lake.

We stayed there for one night on a road trip. Room was very average, even though it was relatively expensive. We arrived around 10.30 pm, so asked politely about late check out ( I never had any problem with that in any hotel ) and they said no. Of course it is always hotel courtesy, but there wasn't one. We were there only for the evening, so I'd say staff was tired, I felt like at the bar we were a problem.I hope this hotel has better days for guests.
