Very nice hotel overlooking the Lake of the Ozarks. We stayed on the second floor, with a great view of the lake from our balcony. The hotel has 3 outdoor pools and one indoor-outdoor pool (part of the spa). The main pool was a little crowded, but the spa pool was practically empty throughout our stay, so we enjoyed peace and quiet there.

We did not eat dinner on site, but we did enjoy drinks at the outdoor bar, Fire and Ice, as well as the bar in HK's. Prices were decent for the lake and drinks were strong. The service was a little slow at the bar, but it looked like the bartender was training a new employee. She was so nice and friendly that we did not mind sitting there longer while she worked.

The hotel offers a pre-paid breakfast option which we did not take advantage of, but it smelled delicious.

Remote didnt work in my room. Back exterior door that led out to small patio was ajar and couldn't be shut all the way. Maintenance had to come and more or less break it back into place and rendered the door unusable. Bugs in bathroom. The air conditioner sounded like it would go into 2nd or 3rd gear every once in a while and made it sound like someone was trying to break into my room door. Made for a long night. Makes you paranoid. The windows had blinds but no curtains to block out the light. So at about 430am or 5am, the sun would come in and wake you up. The air conditioner in the conference room I had meetings in all week worked mediocre at best. Most of us sweat the entire time. Spilled bbq chicken wings on one of the beds in my room. All over the sheets and comforter. When house keeping came, I thought they changed the sheets. No. All they did was just make the bed. When I got back in bed that night, I noticed the sheets were still stained with the bbq sauce. They didn't change the sheets. I wonder if they really change the sheets when a new resident comes. Makes you wonder and really start to get grossed out. Overall, it sucked for a supposed "4 star" hotel with the Lodge of Four Seasons name.

It talks about upgrades, well if you're not in the main lodge your room is crap. Not worth it at all! We stayed there because my friend was getting married in the area and the hotel had a shuttle to the wedding location. Poorly setup and ran late. So horrible. The light outside our room was barely visible, and there were no other lights around. It made feel unsafe. And all the guest from the wedding that stayed there said the key cards all had problems. Not to mention the rude employee working at the gift shop, she stared at me and followed me around like I was going to steal something.

After hearing colleagues rave about Lodge of Four Seasons for years, it was the first place I had in mind for my family to stay on a mini vacation.

I hope that my review saves at least one person from making the mistake of booking here, and causes the management to actually address what seems to be a continual problem based on previous reviews.

Our room was very dated, missing towels (we had 1 bath towel), Had no toilet paper, and had a dirty wash cloth with someone else's makeup on it.

Our balcony light didn't work. Our bathtub had pieces missing from it. The ceiling in the bathroom had been in an obvious flood, but no effort was made to make it look better.

The check in staff were very friendly. This hotel isn't worth a fraction of what you pay for though.

Disappointed, if I could post zero stars I would. We are in the middle of a pandemic and it is our civic duty to keep each other safe, yet the management at this hotel has taught their staff to take pride in advising patrons that We proudly don t take any COVID precautions . Shame on them, we will never stay or recommend this hotel.
I also called twice just to confirm I didn t just have a bad experience with one lady and the second lady reaffirmed my disappointment even after I told her we were travelling with a newborn. #respecteachother #wearamask

I attended a bridal show at Lodge of the Four Seasons. I had registered before the event, but they were not able to find my information. I was able to register again though. The event was a little smaller than I expected, but everything was great once we got in. The food was great and the bartender on staff was wonderful.

To start I want to make it clear I was staying for a conference so my review might reflect differently. The hotel staff at the location is amazing. As the tech guy of the conference the hotel's staff was on the ball in the mornings replacing battery's in the mics and making sure everything was ready for the speakers. All the conference rooms were laud out perfectly for meetings and the equipment was in good working order. The rest of the hotel did a great job of keeping up with the trash and drinks for the conference.
When I checked in my room wasn't ready yet so the front desk took my number and called me when it was ready. I took the time to walk around and see everything the hotel had to offer including the many places to sit and just take in the lake views. I really loved the main outdoor pool/bar area and the movie theater. There were multiple days of rain during my stay and the hotel staff opened the theater and played movies all day. The hotel has a lot of planned activities and even a kids zone for younger kids.
Overall I'm very impress with my stay. The hotel saff was very friendly hand helpful, the rooms were clean, and the hotel offered many options for entertainment on site.

I do not recommend! They are not associated with the Four Seasons! I stayed in what they call the Luxury Villas and they were falling apart. The ice machines did not work at all. Also, my room was occupied when I got there and dead bolted.: we finally got in by the conjoining room and no one even checked to make sure the room was clean. Dean the manager won t even call me back. I was very polite and it was a horrible place to stay! I also have photos of everything that was broke, failing apart, and even the staff members finally getting us in our room by asking the conjoint room guest to unlock it-whom we did not know!!

Really run down desperately needs updated on many levels. The room had a sewer smell off and on. We stayed for four nights and due to Covid supposedly our room was not to be cleaned and we could ask for more towels which we did and never received them, had to ask a maid down the hall. It definitely was not worth the $800 I spent.

There is friendly staff. The pools have way to much chlorine and bleach. If I put my face in the water with my eyes closed my eyes would sting so much. It is very expensive there. The bedroom is nice, very comfy. At night it is so beautiful. So many lights at night. It has everything there. Even a Japanese garden! And a game area. Which is a fun place for kids to play after swimming at the pool. There are so many more things. I love the theme. It is warm and welcoming. So I would definitely recommend this place for anything.

Impromptu stay with my husband. The lodge is a blend of the 60 s with modern touches. We stayed in an annex. Must be the budget friendly side. Every time our ac turned on there was a clunk noise. No curtains in the room just blinds. Bathroom was dark and kind of creepy. My husband noticed a panel wall between the closet and bathroom, which seemed odd. Walls very thin. Property itself mostly pretty - needs new pavement overall. The main pool was nice but very little shade and just a few umbrellas. Japanese garden really lovely. We loved the deck awning just off by itself. Very relaxing. HK s was pretty good, too. Overall I d say B- or C+.

The room was fine, and the staff were all really nice. This was noteworthy because we stayed over Christmas so I'm sure they would all prefer to have been home with their families, but they still went out of their way to be helpful to my family. We also like the architecture of the facility; much more attractive than the common concrete rectangle style.

Our room had lots of BUGS in the shower! Disgusting... who wants to take a shower in that? Really disappointing. The place was not well maintained at all. Tile was broken and falling off the shower and porcelin was peeling off. Trim was falling off the door. I would expect this from a cheap $50 a night motel, but not a $179 a night "resort".

Ms. Lori at the front desk is the ABSOLUTE best! She worked with us at 2:15am and was sooo sweet. Her personality is so addicting. She is such a sweetheart and it s pure genuine! If you come and stay at the Lake, stay here!

The resort is beautiful but this stay was not as good as past ones. My room was never cleaned, the fire place in the lobby was broken and didn't work for the whole stay, and the pool area was having an issue where the whole room was foggy.

Prices are higher than near by competitors, but the property does have nice appeal. My vehicle was damaged while parked here, and there are no security cameras. Food was cateres to pur conference, sides were cold but the entree was good.

The hotel was very nice and clean. It had an old smell to it but that was expected since it has been around for a while. The staff was very friendly and was able to answer all our questions. Will definitely be going back.

The resort and accommodations here are nice. I've been plagued with key cards that have to be reset everyday. I am here for business and met with some people in the resort restaurant, our waiter was hideous, if we wanted another drink, we had to physically hunt him down. We waited 30 minutes before he came around to settle our tab, so we could go somewhere that appreciated our business.

Don t. Stay. Here. Housekeeping came into our room before we checked out and propped it open for only God knows who to come in. As a result very expensive jewelry was stolen. The hotel wouldn t take responsibility bc it s against their policy. I ll never have housekeeping clean my room in hotels now bc nothing was done when lodge of four seasons staff stole a ring or left my room open w my belongings in it so someone else could.

Updates have improved the hotel. We were assigned room not in the main lodge, despite checking in on Thursday for weekend to try and make sure we got a room in main building. In winter rooms in other buildings besides main lodge means no access to pool and spa. Disappointed they could not accommodate us in main lodge.

We stayed for MASFAP and we were in the Avila rooms. This has been my third year attending this conference and as always the staff, facilities, food, and rooms are fantastic. The rooms where we stayed at you're much nicer than I anticipated this year, it makes me wish I was down for relaxation reasons instead of work reasons.

We had a beautiful wedding weekend with many out of town guests! The rooms were nice and clean ! They had very easy check in! There was also many amenities for the guests to do! They especially enjoyed trapshooting and the spa! On the wedding day there was rain and everything needed to be moved indoors! They did so quickly and efficiently! Everything went smoothly, food was excellent and the service was impeccable! Compliments to this property for making all of our dreams come true!

Getting towels was like asking for gold bars. Each day the maids neglected to leave something. Had to call the desk and demand fresh sheets after 3 nights there. For an older hotel trying to complete with newer places you would think they would attempt to provide good service, but no!

We recently stayed in a king main room lodge room for two nights. We really enjoyed our stay and our spacious room. The room had a balcony with a view of the property and lake that we liked.

I would recommend enjoying your meals away from the hotel as the hotel restaurants didn't seem worth it. We will be back to the hotel though!

It was an okay room and property. Had high expectations given the name and knowing they had just done renovations but there was some missing attention to details with the reno. Upon entering our room, the door was stuck, noticed they left the popcorn ceiling and in the bathroom they kept the old, dated fixtures in the shower, the toilet paper holder kept falling off and you had to hold the handle down to get the toilet to flush. Don't mean this to sound picky but it's the attention to details that matter the most with a renovation. For the name and price, it could have been better...

Stayed here 2 nights I have to tell you after a conversation I had with evening manager Christopher, I am leaving 2 stars this would have been a one star review but they decided to open the hot tub. Worst part was the Shutters restaurant, after waiting for 1 hour 25 minutes for a philly sandwich, and manager lady there telling us that its because the restaurant is closing "anyways" in one month so they dont have help. I ended up paying over $100 there. Than all the pools are closed because of the possible " weather". Why am I paying resort fees???? All this while no storms in sight. This is a decent looking resort, but ownership of this resort needs to take note and hire NEW management. Meanwhile I will be happy to stay at Camden next weekend I bring the boat down. Get new management ASAP. No leadership here is apparent...

We have been here the past 2 years and we absolutely LOVE IT! Customer service is always fantastic! Omar came and made sure we had no wasps on our patio. Anytime we saw him he was super kind and always had the best customer service! I even managed to drop an air pod on their roof from my balcony and their security guard was kind enough to go on the roof at 1am just to get my air pod! You can never go wrong staying at this beautiful hotel. They really go over the top to make their guests happy. We can t wait to come back!!!!

Really nice place with awesome views of the lake. There are several pools to choose from, indoor and out. A couple restaurants and bars on site. I m here right now and it had a chill laid back atmosphere, I m sure it s busier on the weekend but for now it s not over crowded at all. The rooms are really nice, very comfortable beds. Looks like most of the rooms have a private balcony with lake views. The wife and I have really enjoyed sitting out there and watching the boats go up and down the lake. I think I might have found my new favorite spot in the Ozarks.

This is not the four seasons brand that most people are familiar with. The lodge of the four seasons is an extremely old and massive hotel and could definitely benefit from a renovation. Overall, the property is maintained pretty well considering its size, age, and popularity. Thus today, it continues to be as busy as it was when it opened. The staff is not in need of a renovation, they are young, energetic, and quite outstanding. You can tell everyone that works there is well trained, and focused as a team to ensure that your family is making special memories. I find it phenomenal that nothing has changed from that perspective in the 30 years since my last visit. Hence it continues to be THE most major destination on the lake and they can 100% attribute that to their boots on the ground. The nicest restaurant(forgot the name) is wonderful if you re to tired to go out and try some of the excellent restaurants around the lake. Moreover, the room service is excellent and reasonably priced. On busy holidays like the 4th of July, The lodge of the four seasons definitely has a tremendous amount of energy. So, if you re looking for a sleepy place to stay and enjoy your holiday this is not the place for you. Areas such as the swimming pool have DJs with good music, dancing, and fun games for the whole family to engage in. It doesn t stop, the party goes on all night. At the same time, you can confidently arrive knowing that the little kids will have just as much fun as the grown-up big kids .

It has a very large fantastic Marina where you can moor your own boat for the weekend or all season long. It s coupled with endless great rental choices available for whatever water sports you re up to doing. And, the marina has top-notch, premium boats! Unfortunately, the beautiful new boats that are replaced new each season come at an excessive what I consider beyond premium price. Given that the hotel rooms are so inexpensive it makes the what I consider ridiculously priced boat rentals somewhat more bearable. All in all, I would really love the Lodge rooms to get the new renovation they deserve so it can once again have that sparkle that I enjoyed as a child back when it was brand new. Go check out the Lodge the four seasons! Great times to be had!
