Had a very good time over Labor Day weekend here. Stayed in a room in the lanai area had quick and easy access to the pool. Their pool bar is very nice and they had a dj most the time. Their restaurant HKs is worth trying as well. They had an amazing fireworks display on Sunday night that lasted quite a while. On the negative side the toilet didn t flush well and there was no fan in the bathroom. The room was meh but the services and pool made up for it.

If you're handicap and are going there for an event, be prepared for the handicap access ramps to be blocked by golf carts (this year and last year) or the only way to access part of the event to be via the trashcan alley behind the spa (that was last year, I'll find out tomorrow when I attempt to get to that part of the event if that is still "the best they can do"). I called the front desk rather angry because it is freezing out and seeing it blocked again made me livid, but while I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager, they sent out a coatless teenager to move it instead of the manager they promised. Well I would have been mollified by the manager, now I'm going to take the photographs I took of the cart blocking the ramp this year and I intend to file a complaint with the ADA. Hopefully this will be enough for them to follow the laws protecting the handicapped.

Very retro chic! Our kind of atmosphere. This place was nice and customer service friendly. Great amenities and the kids loved it. Price matched the quality ($150). We will come back next year!
The only hiccups were being given a room twice that was already filled, and the waterfall pool area was moldy. The employees were also mostly young and inexperienced, but very nice.

After reading many reviews I had lowered my expectations so I wouldn t be disappointed. However, I could not have had a better experience during my 4-night stay, I honestly do not know if these other reviewers stayed at the same resort as I did! I arrived at 1:00pm on Thursday, July 2nd and was checked in and unloading my bags in my room by 1:10pm, it was quick and easy. I will say the elevators do need some maintenance, but I never felt they were going to get stuck, they just make loud noises. I was in the main lodge in room 6319 in a two queen room with balcony. The room was quite spacious and I found the beds to be really comfortable. I spent very little time in the room as I enjoyed more of what the property had to offer and there s a lot; however, the balcony was nice to have morning coffee and watch the sunrise over the lake. While the decor of the lodge may look dated, it s because the resort is 55+ years old; however, I felt everything was well maintained and enjoyed the rustic feel, if I wanted a modern hotel than I would ve booked that. As I was walking down to Fire and Ice for a drink after my long drive, I could not believe how amazing the Japanese Garden was, everything is so well kept and has a purpose for where it was planted so you could see one area or another. I spent a lot of time during my stay just walking around the garden or sitting in a chair and watching the boats on the lake, it was really peaceful. A majority of my time I spent at Fire and Ice, almost from bar open to close! Nick and Rhonda were amazing and always made sure I had a drink in hand. I will say though, that Logan was the one employee made the greatest impression and made my vacation as great as it was. He always engaged in conversation, refilled drinks, always had the biggest smile, and was always friendly to every guest. He definitely was a guest favorite and deserves the kudos! I chose not to leave the resort because if you have the best, why go anywhere else! The pools were clean and not cloudy like I read from others, towels and garbage was cleaned up regularly so that was not an issue. The pools can get busy so a lounge chair may be hard to find; however, they do have two other pools you can check out. I also dined at HKs twice at the bar and had amazing service from Kristen, Ally, and Brent. The menu was limited due to everything going on; however, the food was excellent. I had twin lobster tails one night and the prime rib the other and I cannot complain about the food at all. My two pieces of constructive criticism for HKs is to update your information on the website as the menu is different and you don t have happy hour, both were disappointing but I got over it. The other is that your dinner plates are too small, it s minor I know, but I don t really want my medium-rare prime rib on top of my mashed potatoes and vegetables and very little space to cut up your food without stuff falling off the plate. I did not check out the lobby bar or breezes so cannot review those. The bar menu at Fire and Ice has a decent selection ranging from nachos, wings, fries, chicken tenders to a turkey wrap or burger and was always delivered quickly either at the bar or at the pool depending where you were. Shout out to Isaiah for running back and forth delivering the food! The fireworks that the resort put on just yards off the shore were fantastic and drew in hundreds of boats and other guests to watch, and the weather could not have been any better. I could probably go on more, but this is already quite lengthy so I will end it up. Be careful reading reviews and don t solely make your decision on them or you could miss out on an amazing vacation. The LOFS is not new and does not have a modern cosmopolitan look, I don t think that s what most people want when they are at Lake of the Ozarks, so be prepared for a lot of wood and earthy touches because it s a lodge and it s older, but that charm is what makes it peaceful and relaxing

Upon visiting The Lodge of Four Seasons resort we had high expectations of a great time considering the reputation and 4/5 star status. The overall experience definitely met our expectations and the stay was remarkable. The friendly staff was very welcoming and informative at check-in and check-out. The room we stayed in was cozy and accommodating, it even had a huge overhanging patio (with a view of the resort and lake)! The resort offered a ton of amenities but we appreciated the pools and bar, Japanese Garden and the in-house restaurants. We had a ton of view of the lake from the resort and the DJ at the pool played great music for a lengthy amount of time, which made everything better:) Legit reviews always contain the bad so here they are: parking was minimal, water pressure in the bathroom we had was low, dim lighting in rooms and most of the event rooms were empty or closed. PS- there was a live band playing music in the resort for one of the many events and weddings going on at the resort over the weekend. I enjoyed being able to listen to it from my room, however probably not everybody agreed with it.

Room was in the older Seasons Bay section. Ice machine on my floor was out. The door to my room was slightly warped. Signs of water damage throughout the room.
Every time I opened my door, a lot of bugs would make it into the room, then collect in the bathtub.
My room had no hot water supply, but I was informed there were no other rooms available when I brought it up to the front desk.
The clover pool area is nice, and there were decent resort amenities, and the staff was pleasant enough.

The room we stayed in did not have a fridge or a microwave (which was a part of their advertisement). The restaurants here did not have the greatest food either. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either.

This is my 3rd and final trip, last year a cheese tray delivered to our room had moldy cheese, this past weekend we ordered a sandwich in the restaurant, again mold on my husband's bread. We stayed one night, wanted to stay for two nights but wanted $242 per night. (they advertise rates from $129) Our "newly renovated" room was without a refrigerator and microwave, no hangers as well. At check out when I asked about no refrigerator I was told they just hadn't got them to that floor, but I could have asked for one. Perhaps guest services should have given me an option when checking in, not after the fact. I had scheduled a couples massage for us, never thinking to ask the price (my bad). For a 50 minute couples massage it was $286.00! I was floored, I could get at least 4 massages of the same quality at a massage place in Kansas City. Very disappointing!

The rooms are nice and they have a lot of different pools that you have the opportunity to go to so that you are not in a pool with too many other people. There is a pretty good view from every suite and room you stay in.. The rooms run about 120$ a night.

First nights were wonderful for us newlyweds. Spa Shiki was awesome (besides being charged a full rate with some amenities being down). The hotel was nice and the staff was nice. However, when the weekend hit, college kids checked in and were banging on all the hotel doors including ours after they spent a lot of hours at the pool getting drunk, blasting music very loudly, jumping in the water and being so obnoxiously loud that we couldn't go to enjoy ourselves.
After all this ruckus, the hotel never kicked these guys out (while in Las Vegas, we would in a heartbeat if it affected other clientele) and they were still here the next night to repeat it. We got an upgrade to the main hotel, but still to hear the loud music coming from these kids. We came out here to escape this in Las Vegas and learned that the hotels in Vegas have much better control of their environment. It's sad, disappointing and I felt bad for the security guy who had to handle this alone.

As a wedding photographer who serves the Ozarks, I was extremely impressed with The Lodge of Four Seasons. The staff was professional and extremely helpful! We had absolutely perfect weather during the rooftop ceremony which overlooked the lake and an even more amazing sunset. I look forward to the opportunity to work here again in the future!

Very clean, great location and views the bar was a very nice place to wind down after the long day and then head back to our rooms. Also was surprisingly well priced for all the amenities you get.

Over all this place is ok. The biggest issue I had was with their internet. I was on the 4th floor of the main building and could only get a decent connection with the door to my room wide open. The ethernet port in the room was not active so I was unable to do any work.
Additionally all the wifi at this resort is unsecured. Not password protected and no 2 step authentication required at all. Basically leaving all the guest data out there for anyone to steal. Would bot stay here again.

This was for our stay 06/26 -06/27/2020. The front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are older, but we stayed in the main lodge, double room. It was nice and clean for the price. The pool area was crowded , but they have 3 to choose from. I found the spa pool to be the nicest and least crowded. None of the staff were masks at the resort, which they should with the high number of travelers they attend to.
I removed one star because there was a fraud alert on my credit card from the pool bar. They decided to give themselves a $34 tip. (pic attached) I contacted the hotel, but no return call. All and all I would stay here again, just use cash at the pool bar.

I had booked two rooms for my brother's wedding, one under my name, another under a friend's, but both on my card. They required no form of ID when we checked in, just a card to put a $100 hold fee on, which would be returned so long as we didn't trash the rooms. While the rooms were nice, the layout of the building was somewhat hard to navigate. Pools we're fine, and the stay itself was okay. Now, a few days later when I looked at my bank account, I saw three charges from the lodge. My friend also had a charge. Basically, they charged us each for our separate room (which was not what we explained during check-in or check-out) but then put all of the taxes and fees on my card. It was completely convoluted the way the charges were split, and they didn't listen to what we clearly told them. It was just a very frustrating experience.

My family and I arrive at the resort around 10 Saturday night after shopping at the mall for a few hours. It was a little confusing getting to our room, but if we would have paid attention there would have been little to no issues. There were signs throughout for guidance to our room. The scenery on the way to our room was mesmerizing. The room was decent. A disappointment in comparison to what we've seen en route to our room and where I stay during my last visit. It did not have a refrigerator or microwave. I did call to the service desk and they were able to provide one. The bathroom was really small but the sink sat outside the bathroom. Directly opposite of the sink was a counter were I placed my suitcase. The room I requested had two queen beds. The room had a dresser that doubled as a TV stand. There was a desk and coffee maker. A chair sat between the balcony and the queen size bed. The view from our room was beautiful over looking the lake. There was a water stain on our popcorn ceiling. The door did not catch correctly. It had to be force shut. Our Best time was spent exploring the views and walkways outside the hotel. We plan on returning soon and staying longer to partake of the other activities the resort offers.

Housekeeping seems to be a problem. Room could have been cleaner. Bathroom amenities were awful half a roll of toilet paper and John Wayne tough at that. Come on, I expected better than that. Been here twice won't be back!

I was completely shocked upon seeing our room for this hotel. I was horribly disappointed. This hotel is extremely outdated from furniture, to finishes, to bedding, to the television....all across the board. The room lacked decor and just seemed gross to me. The towels provided in the room were a bit ratty and seemed more like rags that we would use to clean with at home. There was a real problem in consistent water temperature while showering. It would go from scalding hot, to cold and then back to warm. Additionally, there were far too few employees working at the front desk upon check-in and check-out. The lines were so long both times that it caused traffic flow issues and actually caused me to skip check-out altogether. I will not return to this hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone.

I am in this hotel right now. I thought this was a resort. It is like a Motel 6. The bathroom is old and dirty, with loose tiles and dusty corners. The bed is old and uncomfortable. We are on the bottom floor and the parking is on the 3rd, no elevator. No warning that we would have to carry our bags on outdoor stairs. Check in was nice and polite but the rooms need updating and TLC. Outside of the lobby, it feels like camping in cabins, not a resort. The leaf blower just blew leaves under our door into the room.

It wasn't the worst experience. The view from the room was fantastic. The pools were nice. One if the restaurants was awesome (hk's). On the other hand it was a bit unmaintained, both elevators were broke at times, and I once got stuck in the elevator. The staff indicated that was an ongoing problem.

20 year anniversary since dining here! Last visit we caught a huge Bass and the chef cleaned & cooked it for us and we shared it with him, staff and patrons at the bar! Way cool.
Ambiance is still classic. Quiet, dimly lit, chill vibe! The Chase Park Plaza and HK's are two of our faves! A nice welcome home, thank you Mr. Koplar and all of you in service at the Lodge of the Four Seasons!

The managers and servers in HK restaurant were very nice. I was a woman alone but they made me feel comfortable and welcome. The front desk people were also very nice and helpful! The rooms at Seasons Bay were ok but small and the phone in my room never did work even though I reported it on day one. I had my cellphone but if you wanted to contact the front desk or order room service, not possible. I would stay in the main hotel if possible.

We were heading to the lake for a quiet weekend as I am halfway done with radiation treatment for breast cancer.. Will not stay here again. Whoever books the rooms for frat houses should be ashamed of themselves. Lots of kids, underage drinking, and illegal drug use. One of the boys asked me if I saw his bag of weed. Kids walking around the halls and lobby openly drinking.
Seems like this hotel caters to kids partying
Another one spit from his balcony and missed me sitting on the patio by an inch. They were throwing beer cans off of the upper floors. Could not get near the pool or hot tub as there were a ton of kids. They moved our room eventually. Needless to say. It was not the least bit enjoyable. We should have saved the money and stayed home. Horrible experience
