Lodge of Four Seasons Review

Not set up for handicap visitors, unless you want to go outside to avoid steps

Great property on the lake. The views from the pool are amazing. We enjoyed the DJ at the pool, it kept the swimmers entertained. The Japanese gardens are beautiful and serene. A great place to relax and unwind with again amazing views. The gift shop provided the items you might need and forgot. The game room was a great little space to connect as a family with some competative pool or ping pong. The spa is outstanding. The staff and services provided are top notch. The spa was a retreat from the rest of the hotel and a great vacation from vacation.

Good staff. After that... Buckets in the hallways, dripping ceilings and rooms that need a lot of help. The door fit so poorly that we could see the outside hallway light around the door. Snow was blowing under the door. The heater made a lot of bad noises and shook the back wall. I was very disappointed with the quality of the lodge.

Great! Clean. Kind. AC was glitching but they helped however they could. The heat was awful but the valets were working out in it, running around all with a smile and friendly demeanor even though the heat was so uncomfortable. I 01gave it four stars because the hotel restaurant Breezes is far too expensive for families ($2 for 1 egg/ $14 for breakfast buffet) and the sweet little cafe called Soleil was closed down and switched to a nameless cafe that isn't open for breakfast and you can't buy much there plus they are far too expensive as well ($8 for a subpar salad $2 for fruit).

The hotel is very large. It has a big waterfall going right down the middle of it which goes all the way outside and to the lake. They have a koi pond outside along with a large pool. They also have many little hidden things that are pretty neat. For example, outside they have a 6x6 chess board with all the pieces to play. They have an outdoor gazebo where they can have live entertainment, right next to the outdoor bar. Would recommend taking a trip here

Great scenery, awesome fountains, lots of Other stuff too

My wife and I stayed here 3 yrs ago and loved the property. The resort was was a lot cleaner. There were spilled drinks on sidewalks for days that did not get cleaned up while we were there. Toilet in room leaked on floor the entire time. We loved the place before but left a lot to be desired this trip. Had to ask for fire pit by Fire & Ice bar to be lit every night, we kept being told that it had to be dark to light, but the fire pit in the pool was lit by 7 every night, we waited till 9 and still had to request it lit. The pool could have been maintained a lot better as well as the flies and bees around the bar and firepit.
The staff were very friendly and the overall property is beautiful. We especially were ecstatic that we did not have to west mask. That in itself is worth a star!

The staff isn't very interactive with guests, but not rude either. Prices are a bit too high if you plan on having a beer, cocktail or a bite to eat. The rooms have had some updates since last year, but there are still plenty of improvements that could be made.

This is an amazing place to stay. Lots of fun for the family!

Very beautiful and unique hotel on the lake with great views. Had a nature scene inside with a creek. Very cool!

Previous reviews stated this place needs to be remodeled and they are doing that. The staff is very accommodating and friendly

We sat down at 8:03 we did not receive our food till 9:47 the manager came around about 9:40 and 1 know how our dinner was he did not want to hear any complaints walked off poor service

Really wonderful place. Kinda hard to find you way around. But there is a Beautiful Chinese Garden that is absolutely wonderful to walk through.

It was fun and exciting. With a new adventure around every corner

The lodge is beautiful with a lot of different restaurants and bars.

Went here during the off season, while it definitely was weird being in a resort area with not very many people the staff, rooms, and food were all as if the resort was full. The room was clean, and we ended up with an excellent view of the lake. If you are looking for an off season quite place to relax this is a great option! Now I need to go back during peak season to see the difference.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the lodge of four seasons! The avila condo-style suite provided plenty of room to kick back and relax in the family room. The kitchen and dining area provided a nice spot to bring in take-out for dinner. Dual balconies (one for each bedroom) gave us a chance to unwind in a more intimate setting. Bars, restaurants and pools onsite were all top notch. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The tub had peeling paint. There were bugs in the sink and shower every morning. Place is old and runned down. The food at HK was absolutely horrible. Pools are nice and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Staff was polite and very helpful, room was clean and spacious. I was in the main lodge in a jr suite. Great view off the balcony. Would definitely go back. Great venue to host either a family vacation or a weekend getaway with the spouse!

I have no complaints about my stay. It was very satisfactory.

It was very nice inside the main lobby. The room we were in was in a separate building and had a great view. It was clean and well kept, but wasn't as nice as the pictures made it seem. Overall, I felt we paid a little more than the room was worth. I would have expected to have a mini fridge and things like that for what we paid. Staff was very friendly and even gave us a great recommendation for dinner. They made the stay worth it.

Utilized the Sea Chase room for a MO SHRM conference. Service was great and drinks and refreshments stayed Stocked great.

For the price, look elsewhere. Nicer hotels at lower prices available.

Fantastic view of the lake and wonderful employees. Can't say much more, was there for a wedding. Didnt actually stay at the Four Seasons.

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW:

After arriving into our room after they gave us keys that didn t work, found a pealing bathtub, and a subpar room. So decided because it was 95 degrees that I was going to go get some ICE as we had been on the road all day. Go to pick up the ice bucket and there is WATER still in the ice bucket from the previous customer. Living in the age of COVID this does not exactly inspire confidence in the cleaning that was being done in each room. Got a new ice bucket and walked to get ice. The whole ice machine area smelled HORRIBLY of fish and the thing wasn t even working. Called the front desk to inquire about where the next closest ice machine was. They directed me to the first level of the same building so walked down there and the pictures attached again show how this machine looked. Huge spider webs in every corner, the front of the machine fallen down onto the ground, the thing was in shambles. PILES OF LEAVES in the closet where it was sitting. I was truly shocked that this was the case. People are getting ice for their drinks from in there. Just overall was nasty.

This place would be a bad motel. The pictures of the rooms versus reality couldn t be farther apart. Beyond disappointed. SAVE YOUR MONEY and stay literally anywhere else.

Hotel was so nice. Lots of activities to do for all ages. From the pool to golf to a kid craft in the play area. There was plenty to do yet when i wanted to just sit, relax, and enjoy i was able to. Everyone on the staff was friendly and attentive. My room was clean and very nice. Beautiful view off my balcony.

Still a great place to stay but it is starting to get a little dated. Its location is great though!

They have done some updating, so the rooms in the main Lodge and common areas look good. Always love the fire!

Old hotel, new paint. Overpriced for what it has. Too many a la carte items not included for the nightly rate + resort fee. Ok once, but won't be back.

Nice rooms and great view of the lake from the balcony of my room. They food options are slim even though they have 2 restaurants. 1 is hardly open and the other the wait takes forever.

WiFi was very low quality; they lied about my reservation and stuck us in the Avila building. The floors were so thin, the people kept us awake, just by walking across the floor. Promised a condo with two rooms, but instead, all we got was adjoining rooms, which contradicts the descriptions of the room. The pools and other stuff were so far away from the Avila building, that the kids and family didn t want to go. The hotel staff wasn t helpful at all. Wouldn t even tell us where the theater was but did happily charge us fees for using the pool, theater and stuff they we never used. Yep, that was even after we cleaned the trash & paper plates from underneath the couch.

I d much rather have stayed some place else! Definitely not worth the money.

Worst hotel room we have ever stayed in. Over priced, small rooms, not very clean. As you can see my husband even had to fix our toilet in order for it to flush. Asked to upgrade to a better room (and pay the difference) but they said we had the best avaiable. I checked online...there are better rooms available currently. Not impressed and will not stay here again.

The Lodge has a nice set up for sure. It shows its 55 year old age a little more than I expected, but it was good for our quick getaway.

An excellent Hotel. Friendly, helpful staff, and the view of the lake is amazing. The rooms were clean, and tidy. And comfortable! Great place for a weekend getaway!

The Lodge of Four Seasons is a beautiful property. The pool was very cold,(it was raining at the time). The amenities are very family friendly,(movies, a kid playroom, and an arcade). They even offered more for children due to the rain.

the views pretty good and the lake is pretty nice if you like to swim jet ski or go fishing pretty good place to go

Our room and the pool for the kids has been the only above 1 star experience so far. The thermostat in our room didn't work and the room was up to 76 degrees before we could get service to look at it. Cannot get it below 72 in here. Wifi is supposed to be available in all rooms....however it doesn't work :(. Hard to be on a business trip and not have Internet access. Finally what will drive us off resort is we went to Shutters (a restaurant on the resort) for dinner and was there 1 hour and 15 minutes before we received our order. Very dissatisfied and all we received from Megan the manager was I'm so sorry, this is the first night by myself and I only have two cooks. Hello it's Friday night and there is NO Vacancy.....and we have 3 nights to go.....I hope it gets better.

Slightly over priced. Lower rooms in building not attached to the main are a bit musty. Rooms are dated no refrigerator. Poor parking. Nice grounds and pools good staff.
